Located just 1.5 miles from the oceanfront, the Holiday Trav-L Park offers 1000 campsites - approx. 300 full hook-up, 400 water and electric, 250 tent sites and 34 cabins. Our facilities include our beach parking, located 1 block off the beach with space for 180 vehicles, 6 playgrounds, 4 swimming pools, volleyball and basketball courts and much more. In season we offer entertainment such as music by our front pool, bingo and other family oriented activities. We are within walking distance of Ocean Breeze Festival Park, the Virginia Marine Science Museum and the Owl Creek Tennis Facility. Also nearby is Owl Creek Boat ramp with access out to the ocean.

How To Book Your Camping Reservations at the Holiday Trav-L-Park Resort

We prefer to handle all camping reservations by phone in order to establish a personal point of contact and to answer any questions that may arise. please call us at 252-354-2250..

Make sure to have the following information ready when making your camping reservation:

• Type and Size of your RV. Please measure from the bumper to the end of the hitch – not just the length of the cabin!
• Electrical Service your RV needs: 30 amp  OR 50 amp – 2 or more AC units usually means 50 amp.
• People aged (10+) in your group.
• Number of Pets  in your group.
• Specific Sites  or  Sections  you would like to be on for your specified dates.

A valid credit card is required for camping reservations. A $250 deposit per reservation, not to exceed the amount of your stay, will be applied to your credit card at the time you make the reservation and a confirmation will be sent to you via email. Prices are subject to change without notice. PLEASE READ YOUR CONFIRMATION EMAIL! IT CONTAINS IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR RESERVATION AND THE RULES OF OUR RESORT.

If camping reservations are made for a Friday arrival and delayed to a Saturday arrival, the Friday night must be paid for in order to keep the original site.  NO EXCEPTIONS .

Camping reservations must be paid with Cash, AMEX, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS .

While we make every effort to accommodate requests for specific sites, we make no guarantee that a specific site will be available at the time you arrive. Although it rarely happens, we reserve the right to change your campsite due to any and all unforeseen circumstances.

To ensure a great oceanfront camping experience, please make sure that you review and understand our Resort Policies .

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policy:  camping is an outdoors activity. there are no refunds for weather-related events unless there is a mandatory evacuation of the island.  any reservations cancelled or changed after march 1, 2024  will be subject to the following:.

• If a reservation is cancelled, moved or shortened at any time, you will incur a $50 fee.
• If a reservation is cancelled or moved within 14 days of your scheduled arrival date, you will forfeit the $250 deposit .
• If a reservation is cancelled or moved within 7 days of your scheduled arrival date, you will forfeit the $250 deposit  and incur an additional $50 administration fee.
• If a reservation is shortened within 14 days of your scheduled arrival date, you will incur a $50 fee per shortened day.
• If a reservation is shortened within 7 days of your scheduled arrival date, you will incur a $75 fee per shortened day.

Camping Credit: In the event a camping credit is issued, it will expire a year from it’s issue date.

Check-in time is 2:00pm . Check-out time is 12:00pm .

You may call the Resort Office the morning of your arrival to check availability for early check-in or the morning of your departure for late check-out. On busy/holiday weekends there will be NO early check-in or late check-out.

THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO CHECK IN EARLY.

A SCOTTISH holiday park has been named the best in the UK - and you can book for just £30 per person.

The team at GO Outdoors rounded up over 100 sites across the country to reveal the best choice for a summer holiday, looking at cost, user reviews, amenities, and more.

Auchenlarie Holiday Park in Dumfries and Galloway took the top spot with a score of 9.98/10.

Visitors praised its "idyllic views of Wigtown Bay and affordable food at the on-site shop", making the average user review rating 4.57 stars out of five.

According to the Daily Express , a weekend stay in June costs just £60 - equating to just £30 per person.

A description reads: "The site is also pet-friendly, so caravanners can bring their furry friend along for the holiday .

“Perfectly fine”

An underrated park. Yes its older and would benefit a makeover but wonderful value and very friendly staff We camped at Holiday Travel Park in a Fifth Wheel.

“you will hear the interstate.”

We stayed here b/c it was very close to people we were visiting. At first we were concerned b/c they put us all the way into the back of the park, but this was a blessing. The sites near to the front We camped at Holiday Travel Park in a Motorhome.

“Stay away from site 258”

This is a convenient overnight stopover off of I-95, easy on, easy off. We stayed here overnight each way going to and coming from the Keys. The first night, they had us in site 258. I have a 32' We camped at Holiday Travel Park in a Fifth Wheel.

There is a BP where you turn into the drive. It's not very convenient if you're towing, but it's nice to have it close. There's also a pizza place and another restaurant right there at it. We walked up and got a pizza.I never saw a dispenser for pet waste bags, but I'm sure most people have their own....

“Entrance is a little tight”

Site was mostly level. Everything was neat and clean. We camped at Holiday Travel Park in a Motorhome.
