Such a crazy performance. Saw Major Lazer as a headliner for a music festival. At one point one of the artists went into a giant hamster ball and rolled into the crowd. Safe to say it was definitely worth it.

Amazing way to bring in the new year. Diplo, Jillionaire and Walshy fire were so dapper in their tuxs and the twerk team slayed in the all white ensembles. Unfortunately it was only about an hour of true major lazer (first song of 2017 was "Light it Up" the remix w nyla.) Not really enough of peace is the mission, like powerful and of course lean on which i really would have expected for NYE in Vegas. But Walshy fire hyped it up, Diplo was playful and festive and Jillionaire brought the caribbean flavor (Jamaican) that is the reason I follow ML around the world. The last hour devolved into late 90s rap music that was reminiscent of high school prom, but that is a very vegas theme where patrons really don't have a deep-seated passion for the performers and its more like "let's get drunk in vegas." But for real ML fans I got my money's worth but would have liked to hear just a bit more from Peace is the Mission. Will i still follow ML all over the world and hope to one day have a drunken face to face with my musical idols, of course. But maybe Las Vegas was ambitious for that particular goal. In short, see them, love them, twerk until you can't twerk no mo. After 5 mad decent block parties and a mad decent boat party they are still at the forefront of relevant amazing and booty shaking electronic music. Play on playas. Much love from a dedicated fan <3
ps. Diplo still fine as hell. Hardest working producer in the game. Keep innovating and helping lesser known artists breakthrough, your collaboration with MO was a huge contribution to stateside music (although they are danish). Much love for that dancehall vibe :) I think I really need to see a proper show in Kingston. So much love and respect, if you don't know, betta ask somebody ;)
INCREDIBLE! I've been a massive fan of Major Lazer and followed there "musical journey" if you will for quite some time, the music they make is just so different and out there, and just makes you feel good. I have seen Major Lazer twice prior to this most recent one for the Peace Is The Mission tour. Both of those times, amazing! However this time, absolutely phenomenal!! For the duration which they performed I've never felt on the same wavelength with their music. 10,000 going insane, dancing/raving, listening to craziest and sickest music you've ever heard. So much energy and just that feeling of it not wanting to end. The combination of the music and the dancers was simply perfect! Amazing!
