Sea Trek Helmet Dive

This excursion we took off our cruise was wonderful. The staff and divers that guide you are all great and very informative starting with safety instructions. The divers guide you and are constantly making sure that we were okay. We were able to feed lots of fish and see wrecks on the trek. They even provided water shoes for the trek. The divers took pictures and you can purchase the USB for pictures of the group. It was a great experience. I would recommend this excursion for everyone.

This excursion off our cruise was the one we were the most excited for and it didn't disappoint in the least. The staff and divers that guide you thru and are with you while you are walking the trek are amazing and extremely helpful. The engineering of the helmets is quite amazing the way they work. You see lots and lots of fish and even get covered in them at some point. This excursion gave us a close up view of the ocean at a fish level which I loved and now I want to learn to scuba dive as well as my fiancé. I suggest if you are going to experience this to bring an underwater camera.

I recently visited St. Maarten on a cruise and went on the Sea Trek Helmet Dive and Snorkeling and had a great time. The folks that work there took great care of us all from start to finish. We took a short boat ride from the pier the their location. We were given a short safety briefing and then started our dive. We were guided the whole time by experienced divers. The were constantly making sure we were okay. It was great to see the wrecks and fish. We were able to feed the fish wish was great. It was one of the best experiences I've had. The people who run this do a great job and make sure you are safe.

We were staying in St. Maarten for a week and wanted to do some side trips. This by far was the best thing we could have picked. The staff was all fantastic from the boat ride out to the inlet and setting us up with our head gear. You wear a big bubble on your head that has oxygen going to it and they guide you underwater. The guys are with you all the time, taking pictures and feeding the fish; making you feel very safe and comfortable the whole time you are under water. We are three woman ages 55 to 69 and had no problems at all. We highly recommend this excursion. Thank you for so much fun.

Absolutely loved it!! We were a bit nervous about what it would be like to have that big helmet on and if we would feel claustrophobic, but after a few steps down the ladder, all our fears disappeared! It was an amazing experience and everyone in our party (nine people ages 16-54) thoroughly enjoyed it! A must do!!!

I loved seeing so many fish under the water, I also liked the friendly service. I recommend other vacationers to come and try Sea Trek!

Helmet Dive

We did the Helmet Die with Sea Trek, and it was the most fun activity of our week long adventure. They even safely got my scared of the ocean wife to successfully complete the excursion. Very fun crew.

We did the Sea Trek and it was a great experience. The tour directors were funny, and knowledgable. We got to see some really cool fish and snorkel while we waited for our group to go down!! I highly recommend this tour if you are in the area. We booked this excursion while on the Independence of the Seas ship. It isn't a very long tour so you have time to do other things if you are from a cruise. You really must try this very fun activity.

This was by far the coolest thing we've EVER done on a vacation. The sea trek crew were so awesome and made the experience even better than I could have ever imagined. We went in December 2012 on a shore excursion off of the cruise ship the Disney Wonder. Anyone who thinks of Disney thinks of only the best of the best in every aspect. I can say with the utmost certainty that the phillipsburg saint martin sea trek helmet dive experience is top notch and ranks right up there with the best of the best like Disney in all aspects from the friendliness and professionalism of the crew right down to all of the small details of the experience... I would most certainly do this over and over again as we'll as recommend this experience to ANYONE who finds themselves in a position to be able to do it. Thank you so very much to the sea trek crew in saint martin for such a wonderful, exciting, one in a million experiences.

This was a great trip. We booked this as an excursion from our cruise ship and we could not have been more pleased. At the start we were pretty nervous, but the staff quickly reassured us it was not only safe, but it was also great fun. We loved the "trek" and the staff was great. I would highly recommend this excursion.

My family and I did this excursion in December 2012, while on the Ruby Princess Cruise Ship. It was the experience of a lifetime. The instructions were easy to follow, and the crew was very nice and supportive. We were in the first group to go down and learned quickly that it is very important to clear your ears. The sea life down there was wonderful, and we got to not only feed the fish, but hold a live sea urchin! It was incredible to be able to see real fish swimming right in front of you! My 10 year old sister especially liked it because she had the chance to experience scuba diving! As a 12 year old, This excursion made me want to get my training next year even more. At the end, picture of you underwater with the fish were available for purchase. We jumped at the chance, but arrived home to discover they had given us another group's pictures. They were very apologetic, and we got the excellent quality pictures the next day. Overall, this was a great experience and I would recommend this to anyone. I would do this again in a second. The age limit is also 8 years old, which is understandable as very small children may have difficulty clearing their ears,

I have never scuba dived or snorkeled so I was really concerned about the experience! The staff was wonderful and very very patient with me. Going 20ft into the water was a little nerve racking but the beauty was worth it! Very great / unusual experience. Highly recommended!

Sea Trek Helmet Diving in St. Maarten

• Check in at Bobby's Marina and board a water taxi over to Little Bay
• Receive a safety briefing and get geared up for your Sea Trek tour and descend down the ladder
• Walk around between a sunken helicopter, submarine, shipwreck, real cannons and a statue of Neptun
• Mingle with the inhabitants of the reef including tropical fishes, lobsters, crabs and sometimes turtles
• Smile for the camera as we take dozens of photos of you that you may purchase after the Sea Trek tour

Important: Daily schedule of the water taxi depends on cruise ships. Select the preferred day and we will let you know the schedule. Your credit card will not be charged until you are fully confirmed. Cruise ship passengers must book through their cruise line.

Sea Trek St. Maarten is the most incredible Helmet diving experience you will ever have! No training required and no swimming involved! Your hair stays dry and you can wear your prescription glasses.

On the Sea Trek Adventure, you will see: shipwrecks, historical canons from Fort Amsterdam, a sunken Odyssey submarine, King Neptune, a helicopter, an air plane and an abundant variety of fish, corals and sea life- it is like being in your own aquarium! The staff will stay with you at all times- they are safe and a lot of fun! The maximum depth is 20 feet (6 meters) and you will be down for 20-30 minutes.

The tour starts when we pick you up in Bobby’s Marina for a 10 minute boat ride. Once at our site-you can stow away your personal items (not secured) and you will receive a short briefing. Then the real fun begins! There will be time to snorkel, swim or catch some rays in addition to your awesome dive!

After your Sea Trek walk you can enjoy looking at your underwater photos, available for purchase in a USB flip card for only $35. Cameras, t-shirts and more will be for sale. We also have snorkel equipment for you available if you want to watch your fellow participants from the surface.

At the end of your tour, the water shuttle will take you back to Bobby’s Marina. An awesome family adventure! Please make sure you wear your bathing suit. No changing/rest room available on the platform.

Guests should consider their physical fitness level and medical history when determining whether this tour is appropriate. Guests with cardiac conditions, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, other heart, respiratory or other medical condition should take particular caution when selecting a tour with snorkeling/swimming/diving elements. If you have any of the above conditions or a pacemaker or if you are over 3 months pregnant, you will need a written Doctor’s clearance to participate. Guests who have concerns should consult with their personal physician before engaging in any activity that may be strenuous for them.

• Full refund if cancelled at least 24 hours before the commencement of the activity, no refund after.
• Full refund if cruise ship does not dock in time or does not dock at all and tour is missed.
• Full refund if supplier cancels the tour.
• If there is no specific check-in time then booking must be cancelled at least 24 hours before tour day.
• No refund if you don’t show up for the activity or if it starts with a pick up and you miss it.
• Supplier gets to decide if the weather is good enough to run the tour.
