Bad Bunny Announces World's Hottest Tour For Summer 2022

With special guests Alesso and Diplo.

It’s shaping up to be a major year for Bad Bunny. After selling out his first headlining tour since 2020, El Último Tour Del Mundo, in record time — the Puerto Rican superstar is now extending his trek around the world by announcing a new 29-date stadium tour set to take place during the summer of 2022 in the U.S. and Latin America.

World’s Hottest Tour, Bad Bunny’s first-ever stadium-sized tour, will kick off just four months after he wraps up El Último Tour Del Mundo, which is set to begin at the beginning of Feb.

Come Aug. 5, Bad Bunny will embark on the U.S. leg of World’s Hottest Tour with performances set at major arenas across the U.S., including Atlanta’s Truist Park, Boston’s Fenway Park, Chicago’s Soldier Field, New York City’s Yankee Stadium, and Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium. And there’s more: Bad Bunny is also inviting DJs Alesso and Diplo to open select dates on the road.

The Latin America leg of the tour will commence shortly after in October, with shows in Dominican Republic, Chile, Argentina, Ecuador, Colombia, and more, before ending with two shows in Mexico.

Announcing the new shows via Instagram Reels , Bad Bunny also revealed that a new album is on the way: “While I work on my new album, you can buy tickets for my next tour,” he said. The album will be his first major release since 2020’s El Último Tour Del Mundo .

Bad Bunny

Bad Bunny has announced El Último Tour del Mundo 2022—a tour named for his 2020 album of the same name . The dates range from February to April across North America. Find the announcement video below. Tickets go on sale April 16 at 12 p.m. Eastern.

The announcement video features WWE star Triple H, who praised Bad Bunny’s performance in the ring at WrestleMania 37 last night. Bad Bunny earned widespread praise for his in-ring skills at WrestleMania, where he hit a Canadian Destroyer (which he called the Bunny Destroyer). Watch that happen below, as well.

El Último Tour del Mundo was the third of three albums Bad Bunny released last year. It followed YHLQMDLG and Las Que No Iban a Salir . El Último Tour del Mundo was the first Spanish-language No. 1 record in the chart’s history. He won the Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop or Urban Album this year for YHLQMDLG.

This announcement is a clear representation of Bad Bunny’s extraordinary growth as a global superstar. Just after announcing his tour  “El Último Tour Del Mundo 2022”  in April 2021, which will begin February 9th and will tour 35 indoor arenas across North America, the artist broke the record at  Ticketmaster  for the most ticket sales for a tour on its first day of sales since 2018. Bad Bunny quickly sold out all 35 shows, moving more than 500,000 tickets. In addition, the artist performed his first stadium concerts in December 2021, breaking audience records with two performances at the Hiram Bithorn Stadium in Puerto Rico. There is no doubt that after such success, “Bad Bunny: World’s Hottest Tour” in stadiums with an all new production will continue to elevate the artist’s career to new transcendental levels.

Proclaimed the most listened-to artist in the world for a second consecutive year by Spotify, Bad Bunny has distinguished himself for his revolutionary moves that constantly impact the music industry. Over the past year, Bad Bunny has released top hits that have earned him the title of #1 Latin Artist in the US by Billboard for a third consecutive year and was also named one of the top 10 most popular global superstars. As if that were not enough, he is also the highest-ranking Latin act on Billboard’s general all genre chart “Top Artists,” ranking at #10, and is the artist with the most hits to reach the Top 10 of the “Hot Latin Songs” chart since the charts inception.

Adding to his great accomplishments in 2021, the artist closed the year by surprising his fans with the premiere of the music video for “Te Deseo Lo Mejor,” which he made in collaboration with  The Simpsons . The series is known for bringing some of the most popular celebrities in the world to life in cartoon form and this time Bad Bunny caused a great impact with his participation, reaffirming his leading spot in the music industry.

  • Matt Levy | NJ Advance Media for NJ.com

For some artists, a single tour in a year is more than enough.

That wasn’t enough for Bad Bunny , though.

Spotify’s most streamed artist of 2020 and 2021 is launching his “World’s Hottest Tour” starting this August. Ironically, it will follow his massive “El Último Tour Del Mundo,” which translates to “The Last Tour of the World.”

What separates the newly announced international tour from the former is that Bad Bunny will only be playing stadium concerts during this one.

And that includes Yankee Stadium on Aug. 27 .

Prior to that, on Bad Bunny’s original 2022 tour, the Grammy Award-winning artist will be at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center on March 16 and Newark’s Prudential Center on March 18 .

If you’re hoping to see Bad Bunny on either one of his massive tours, here’s everything you need to know.

Where can I buy tickets to see Bad Bunny?

Tickets for Bad Bunny’s new “World’s Hottest Tour” go on sale at Ticketmaster to the general public Friday, Jan. 28 at 12 p.m. local time for all shows.

If you don’t want to wait until the tickets go on sale to the general public, you can find seats right now on sites like Vivid Seats , StubHub or MegaSeats . It’s common for speculative tickets to show up on the secondary market first, but be aware that prices may be more expensive than when they go on sale to the general public

Tickets for “El Último Tour Del Mundo” are available on all major ticketing platforms such as StubHub , Vivid Seats , Ticketmaster , SeatGeek and MegaSeats .

Where is Bad Bunny going on his tours?

Bad Bunny currently has a whopping 50 shows lined up as part of his two 2022 tours .

A complete calendar with all international dates can be found here .

Bad Bunny Announces 2022 US Stadium Tour

"Bad Bunny: World's Hottest Tour" includes show at some of the country's biggest venues

Bad Bunny Announces 2022 US Stadium Tour

Bad Bunny has announced a massive US stadium tour that’ll take place in Summer 2022.

The “Bad Bunny: World’s Hottest Tour” includes shows at some of the biggest venues in the US, including Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, Chicago’s Soldier Field, New York’s Yankee Stadium, Dallas’ AT&T Stadium, and Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium. Joining him on tour will be Alesso and Diplo, who’ll take turns serving as support on select dates.

Update – January 31st: Due to “overwhelming demand” for tickets, the Puerto Rican rapper and singer has announced additional stadium shows in six cities : Miami, New York, Houston, San Diego, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles.

A ticket pre-sale for the tour begins Wednesday, January 26th at 12:00 p.m. local time, with a public on-sale following on January 28th at 12:00 p.m. local time via Ticketmaster . Update: A pre-sale for the six new stadium shows in Miami, New York, Houston, San Diego, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles will be available starting Wednesday, February 2nd at 12:00 p.m. local time via Ticketmaster . A public on-sale will follow on Friday, February 4th at 12:00 p.m.

Bad Bunny’s “World Hottest Tour” also includes a leg of South American dates taking place between October and December.

The “World Hottest Tour” follows Bad Bunny’s previously announced “El Último Tour Del Mundo,” which kicks off in the US starting in mid-February. While two expansive tours taking place in such close proximity would seem like a fool’s errand for many artists, the demand is certainly there for Bad Bunny. The Puerto Rican rapper and singer recently claimed the title as Spotify’s most streamed artists for the second year running after amassing more than nine billion streams globally.

The event stated that it would begin at 7pm. It didnt start till almost 9pm. It would be helpful if the start time was more accurate. Overall, it was a good performance. Wish there was some performance before the concert. I did enjoy how the effects were presented, love the bracelets that were on the seats. The surprised guest fantastic. Will I come to another concert of Bad Bunny, probably not for a long time. Hoping that he comes out with more surprises later in the future.

MIAMI, FL (April 12, 2021) – International superstar, GRAMMY® and multiple Latin GRAMMY® winner, Bad Bunny, will make his return to the stage following the announcement of his North American tour, "El Último Tour del Mundo 2022." The highly anticipated tour, promoted by Cardenas Marketing Network (CMN), will be presented by Corona® and will visit a total of 25 cities, beginning February 9, 2022 in Denver, CO at the Ball Arena with a stop at the award-winning State Farm Arena Sunday, March 27th. Presented by Corona®, tickets for "El Último Tour del Mundo 2022" will go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 16th, at 12pm local time through cmnevents.com.   Bad Bunny's plans to continue touring the world with his music last year were brought to a halt due to COVID-19. His last tour the "X100PRE Tour" was one of the most prominent live shows of 2019, breaking capacity records and completely selling iconic arenas around the world including Madison Square Garden in New York City, Staples Center in Los Angeles, American Airlines Arena in Miami, Coliseum of Puerto Rico, Movistar Arena in Chile, Arena México in Mexico City and many more. The tour concluded with 48 fully sold-out shows around the U.S., Latin America, and Europe; and also included Coachella and Lollapalooza festivals.

"We are excited to once again join international superstar Bad Bunny on what is sure to be another memorable tour,” said Ann Legan, vice president of brand marketing, Corona. "Corona and Bad Bunny’s shared Latino heritage make our brand an ideal accompaniment for fans to enjoy alongside his vibrant performance." As we approach the return of live music, Bad Bunny prepares to deliver some of the most astonishing shows of his career, where he will finally be able to interact with his fans in person and bring to life the incredible world he has created with all of his latest revolutionary musical productions such as "YHLQMDLG," "Las Que No Iban A Salir" and "El Último Tour del Mundo." Proclaimed one of the world's leading artists, the multi-platinum recording artist promises to deliver a momentous production that will undoubtedly create unforgettable moments for his fans.

Bad Bunny's Most Wanted Tour: Everything to Know

Bad Bunny

Get all the details on the Puerto Rican superstar's fifth concert tour, including the dates and setlist.

Bad Bunny  has officially kicked off his highly anticipated Most Wanted Tour!

The 29-year-old Puerto Rican superstar launched his fifth concert tour on Feb. 21 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and on Saturday, he took over San Francisco's Chase Center for his second sold-out show at the venue.

ET was on hand for the concert, which was a departure from his 2022 record-breaking tour,  El Último Tour del Mundo . Unlike the last tour -- which amassed over $435 million, according to  Billboard ,  and featured more upbeat party hits -- Bad Bunny fully embraces his "King of Latin Trap" title as he returns to his trap music roots by performing songs from his latest album,  Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana.

Bad Bunny's concert was full of surprises from start to finish. In addition to the updated setlist, the show features three different stages (including a floating catwalk), a full orchestra, inclusive choreography, a ton of pyrotechnics, incredible light shows, and even a real-life horse.

During the second act of the show, Bad Bunny makes his way to one of the stages on horseback as part of the tour's Wild West theme. In fact, PETA recently slammed the musician for the concert stunt, telling Newsweek ,  "Horses are extremely skittish individuals, and they're not props to be ridden across a stage amid flashing lights, booming music and noisy crowds. As they're easily spooked, this could have ended in tragedy, all for an absurd and thoughtless gimmick." The "Where She Goes" rapper has yet to issue a public response.

While the majority of the concert consists of Bad Bunny singing hit after hit, the performer does take a moment during the middle of the show to share his appreciation for his fans.

"I want to thank you for being here tonight once again. San Francisco, thank you for being here. I appreciate it so much," he told the crowd in Spanish, before asking how everybody was feeling.

As the crowd cheered, Bad Bunny continued: "With this place full of so many people, it is impossible for each of you to be feeling good. It's impossible. I am 100 percent sure that perhaps many of you tonight are going through a situation in your lives, a concern, a difficult moment, but either way, you came out... you left your problems outside and are here spending the night with me... Thank you very much. You guys also make me feel better, so thank you."

Bad Bunny has long been open about his mental health struggles , and during his performance on Sunday, he spoke about how some days are harder than others, saying some days he wakes up not wanting to do anything, and other days, he feels like "moving the world."

"It's part of life," he told the audience. "We have those moments where we're not totally OK. It's part of the day-to-day process."

Following his only speech of the night, Bad Bunny transitioned into an acoustic set, accompanied by a piano, before closing out the show with some of his more popular hits, including "Dakiti," "Me Porto Bonito," and "Where She Goes."

Bad Bunny Concert Setlists: What to Expect at the Most Wanted Tour

tour bad bunny 2022

Update (March 8): This article has been updated with Bad Bunny’s latest average setlist.

It’s official: Bad Bunny has taken over the world. Since he burst onto the scene in the late 2010s with singles like “Mayores” featuring Becky G and “Vuelve” with Daddy Yankee — not to mention a guest assist alongside pal and collaborator J Balvin on Cardi B’s No. 1 smash “I Like It” — the Puerto Rican sensation has become not only a global force, but one of the hottest artists leading the Latin music revolution taking its rightful place in the mainstream.

In the last year alone, Benito has released his fifth solo album nadie sabe lo que va a pasar mañana , helped send regional Mexican music into the upper echelon of the Billboard Hot 100 by collaborating with Grupo Frontera on “Un x100to,” became the first Latin artist to headline Coachella, hosted WWE’s Backlash in his native Puerto Rico (and defeated Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight in the process), pulled double duty on Saturday Night Live as both host and musical guest and more.

On the heels of that impressive string of accomplishments and culture-defining moments, the reggaeton sensation just embarked on his Most Wanted Tour across the U.S. Following the opening show at Salt Lake City’s newly rechristened Delta Center, Bad Bunny will play 46 more shows through Memorial Day weekend in cities like Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston, Miami and beyond.

Below, see Bad Bunny tour information , such as an average setlist, and find out everything you need to know about his 2024 tour.

After 76ers win, Bad Bunny concert in Philadelphia will be on Friday as scheduled

By Joe Brandt

Updated on: April 17, 2024 / 10:13 PM EDT / CBS Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Bad Bunny 's concert scheduled for Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center Friday will proceed as scheduled.

The timing of the show, part of the Latin trap and reggaeton artist's  "Most Wanted" tour , was up in the air when the Philadelphia 76ers entered the NBA Play-In Tournament. Because the Sixers defeated the Miami Heat Wednesday night, the team's next game is Saturday in New York against the Knicks.

If the Sixers had lost Wednesday's game, they would have played at home Friday night.

In that scenario, Bad Bunny's concert in Philadelphia would have been moved to Thursday.

The show will be Bad Bunny's first appearance in Philadelphia since  headlining the Made in America Festival in September 2022 .

Bad Bunny was the most-streamed artist on Spotify for three years in a row , from 2020 to 2022, before he was upstaged by Berks County native Taylor Swift in 2023 .

Bad Bunny concert date in Philadelphia is Friday after Sixers win

The date of the Puerto Rican rap star's Philadelphia concert was dependent on the outcome of a basketball game.

Bad Bunny in Las Vegas in 2022. The date of the Puerto Rican rapper's Philadelphia show was determined by the outcome of Wednesday night's basketball game between the Sixers and Miami Heat.

Bad Bunny finally knows his schedule.

As do his fans.

Thanks to the Sixers’ defeat of the Miami Heat in Wednesday’s play-in game , Joel Embiid and his teammates have the night off on Friday and can start preparing for their first-round playoff series against the New York Knicks. That means Bad Bunny’s South Philly stop on his “Most Wanted Tour” can proceed on Friday night as originally planned.

If the Sixers had lost to the Heat, they would have had to play again Friday, facing the winner of Wednesday’s Chicago Bulls-Atlanta Hawks game at the Wells Fargo Center.

And a Friday game would have meant that Bad Bunny’s Most Wanted show — his first in Philadelphia since headlining Jay-Z’s Made in America festival on the Ben Franklin Parkway in 2022 — would have been moved up a day to Thursday, which is an open date on the schedule of the Puerto Rican rapper.

» READ MORE: Will Bad Bunny play the Wells Fargo Center on Friday? Or will Joel Embiid?

But now, thanks to Joel Embiid’s 23 points that helped the team vanquish archrival and former Sixer Jimmy Butler, Bad Bunny’s fans — known as “Los Condos” or “the Bunnies” — can rest easy. They can now go ahead and see “the King of Latin Trap” on the original date slated for his Philadelphia tour stop. The “Most Wanted Tour” is in support of his 2023 album Nadie Sadie Lo Que Va a Paper Mañana .

And the Sixers can get on with the business of beating the Knicks.

Bad Bunny

Bad Bunny ‘s Most Wanted Tour is in high gear, bringing his latest album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana , to life across various U.S. cities. Meanwhile, he has invited multiple surprise guests along the way.

The Puerto Rican superstar kicked off his 2024 tour in Salt Lake City, Utah on February 21, promoted by Live Nation. According to Billboard Boxscore, the tour has already grossed $84.2M and sold 282K tickets across its first 18 shows, selling out venues everywhere it’s been.

The Most Wanted Tour features a 37-song setlist that spans El Conejo Malo’s diverse discography, with a focus on his latest album. In addition to the new songs, Bunny pays homage to his earlier work and his Latin trap roots. To see the complete setlist, click here .

In a handful of cities, Bad Bunny has been joined by some surprise guest artists, so far those include Eladio Carrión , Young Miko , Feid , Bryant Myers , and Mora .

The Most Wanted Tour follows on the heels of Bunny’s record-breaking World’s Hottest Tour stadium run, and prior to that, El Último Tour del Mundo, which together closed in 2022 with a staggering $435 million in tour grosses. The current tour continues to build on this success, with sold-out shows and stops including several nights in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and Miami.

As his U.S. trek carries on, fans can anticipate the surprises that await. Here are Bad Bunny’s surprise guests on his current Most Wanted Tour so far, in alphabetical order:

Bryant Myers

On March 13, during the first of his three shows at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Bad Bunny was joined by Bryant Myers, a frequent collaborator. Together, they performed “Seda,” a track from Bunny’s latest album. Myers also accompanied Bunny on the first night (April 11) of three in New York at the Barclays Center.

The longtime Puerto Rican friends have previously joined forces on early Bunny hits such as 2017 singles “Pa Ti” and “Un Ratito Más,” as well as “Triste” from Myers’ 2018 debut album La Oscuridad . Check them out shouting out Puerto Rico on their latest trap effort “Seda.”

Eladio Carrión

Amidst the electric atmosphere at Barclays Center, the last of Bad Bunny’s three performances in New York City on Saturday (April 13) left the audience on the edge of their seats. Carrión emerged from the opposite side of the stage from Bunny, on a structure that resembled a bridge. He rocked a flowy trenchcoat and baggy pants, and Bunny, with his trademark cowboy attire, performed the menacing drill number “Thunder y Lightning” off of Nadie Sabe .

Their collaboration was no mere coincidence; these Puerto Rican friends have a history of hits together. From Carrion’s previous anthems “Coco Chanel” off of 3MEN2 KBRN  to the pair’s trap single “Kemba Walker” (2019), their union always promises to be unforgettable.

On March 5 in Sacramento, Bad Bunny surprised fans by welcoming Colombian sensation Feid to the stage. Under the glow of green lighting — a nod to El Ferxxo’s signature aesthetic — the duo delivered a powerful rendition of the reggaeton hit “Perro Negro” off Bunny’s latest album. The audience was ecstatic over Feid’s unexpected appearance, as can be seen in the performance video below:

As Bad Bunny served himself a glass of licor while wearing a black head scarf with studs, he also prepared the crowd to the next moment — Mora’s unexpected arrival.

The star from Bayamón, Puerto Rico, emerged from behind Bunny, adding more energy to the captivated crowd at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on the third night, March 15. Together, they delivered a lively performance of “Hibiki,” a fast-paced, house-infused trap song and the fourth track from Bunny’s latest album. You can view their dynamic performance in the video below:

On March 30, Bad Bunny surprised audiences with a special appearance by Young Miko for the closing night of his Chicago dates. Benito welcomed her with a gigantic hug , and together, they performed “Fina,” off of Nadie Sabe , live for the first time. Bunny had previously showed his support for the emerging star in July of 2022 when she made a surprise appearance on his Coliseo de Puerto Rico show, before kicking off World’s Hottest Tour that year.

Amid a sample of Tego Calderón’s “Pa’ Que Retozen,” “Fina” sees the artists shining with lyrical brilliance. Check out their live showcase below:

Plenty of pomp, but only one Bad Bunny at TD Garden

Bad Bunny brought his Most Wanted Tour to TD Garden Wednesday night.

Bad Bunny’s show at TD Garden Wednesday night was a dazzling spectacle; it had an overture played by a full orchestra, pyrotechnic blasts, acrobatic dancers, a split stage that crammed a crowd in between its ends and was topped by a floating platform. There was even a horse. But all that pomp would have fallen flat without the white-hot star at its center, the Puerto Rican rapper, singer, producer, actor, pro wrestler, and Met Gala co-chair Bad Bunny .

Bad Bunny at TD Garden.

But on his latest album, “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana,” he addresses the fatigue that comes alongside fame: The album’s first line, “Dicen que el mundo va a acabarse, ojalá que sea pronto,” translates to “They say the world is going to end, I hope it’s soon.” It’s not a completely anhedonic record — there’s no shortage of nods to sex and money, and it samples Madonna’s runway-ready 1990 single “Vogue” on the crystalline boast “Vou 787″ — but the outlaw imagery accompanying it reveals the world-weariness threaded throughout.

As Wednesday night’s show proved, though, partying as if the apocalypse is imminent can result in its own form of exhilaration. Bad Bunny whirled through more than 30 songs from his formidable catalog during his two-hour-plus set, putting the focus on “Nadie Sabe” but throwing in cuts like the thumping “La Jumpa” and the sun-drenched “Me Porto Bonito.”

Lights in the crowd illuminated TD Garden during Bad Bunny's performance.

He also had a moment where he sat atop a piano, crooner style, to show off his formidable pipes and effortless charisma; before that, he’d used the aforementioned platform to make sure that even audience members in the upper reaches of the arena could get a good look at him, topping off the airborne segment of the show with a raging version of “Thunder Y Lightning.” Bad Bunny’s latest album might grapple with the effects of fame, but the causes for the fervency surrounding him were apparent from the orchestra’s first note until the very end.

BAD BUNNY: MOST WANTED TOUR

At TD Garden, Wednesday

A Sixers' loss to the Miami Heat would bring more pain to Bad Bunny fans

Fans of Bad Bunny have additional incentive to want the Philadelphia 76ers to defeat the Miami Heat in the NBA Play-In Tournament on Wednesday night .

Here's how a Sixers' loss would impact Friday's Bad Bunny concert.

A Sixers' loss would force Bad Bunny to reschedule

The seventh-ranked Sixers host the eight-seed Heat on Wednesday evening at the Wells Fargo Center. If the Sixers win, they will remain the #7 seed and face the New York Knicks in the first round of the NBA Playoffs .

A loss, however, would mean the Sixers would have to play a second play-in tournament game on Friday, against the winner of the Atlanta Hawks — Chicago Bulls Play-In Tournament game.

That loss would also trigger the rescheduling of Bad Bunny's "Most Wanted" concert tour stop in South Philadelphia, moving the concert up one day.

As it stands, Bad Bunny is set to perform at 8 p.m. on Friday, April 19, at the Center, and tickets to Bad Bunny's concert in Philadelphia are still available through TicketMaster .

Bad Bunny took to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, to alert fans of the possible rescheduling:

"We are providing you information regarding a potential date change for your upcoming Bad Bunny event due to the NBA Play-In Tournament. If the Philadelphia 76ers win the game on Wednesday, April 17, the Bad Bunny show scheduled for this upcoming Friday, April 19, will proceed as originally scheduled," read And Bunny's post. "If the Philadelphia 76ers lose the game on Wednesday, April 17, there will be an NBA Play-In Tournament game at Wells Fargo Center on Friday, April 19. In this case, your Bad Bunny Event will be rescheduled for Thursday, April 18.

"All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date," Bad Bunny's post continued. "We wanted to give you as much information as we currently have. We will notify you again after Wednesday's results as to the official status of your event."

Who is bad Bunny?

The reggaeton star will undoubtedly perform tracks from his recently released fifth album,  "nadie sabe lo que va a pasar mañana ," which made history as it became the most-streamed album in a single day in 2023 on Spotify. Bad Bunny has amassed more than 18 billion streams on the music streaming service.

Bad Bunny, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, is also known for his gender fluidity and empowering the Latino LGBTQ community.

Bad Bunny's profile helps LGBTQ causes: How Bad Bunny's gender fluidity is shaking up a genre, empowering the Latino LGBTQ community

The 30-year-old, whose "Un Verano Sin Ti" album was the  most-streamed worldwide in 2022 , has been named  Spotify's most-streamed artist three years in a row , won three Grammys and continues to break his own records in a genre that's traditionally hyper-masculine.

He's also  kissed a male backup dancer  onstage. He  dressed in drag  for the "Yo Perreo Sola" music video and wore a skirt on a  "Tonight Show" appearance . He straight-up told the Los Angles Times, " I don't know if in 20 years I will like a man.  One never knows in life."

Many have speculated about his sexual identity, but  Bad Bunny  hasn't allowed himself to be labeled. After all, he's been clear that  "Yo Hago Lo Que Me Da La Gana" ("I Do Whatever I Want").

He has artfully challenged homophobia in reggaeton, critiqued masculinity in the Latino community and been an ally to the LGBTQ community.

"Even though (Bad Bunny) hasn't come out and specified his sexual orientation, he has elevated the conversation on a global stage and in these pop cultural arenas where people are paying attention," said  Dr. Nathian Rodriguez , a Journalism and Media Studies professor at San Diego State University. "Fluidity is his main message."
