So you’re going on vacation to Cabo …

One of the first things you want to see is the iconic rock Arch of Cabo San Lucas, right?

You’ve heard about this remarkable sight rising up out of the sea…

The fun glass-bottom boat tours to get there. The barking sea lions. The frigate birds riding the hot air updrafts like roller coasters, high above the cliffs.

Every time we visit the Los Cabos area , we always make a trip out to the Arch. We’ve been visiting Cabo each year (sometimes twice a year) for more than 20 years now – and we’ve done all sorts of different tours to this famous rock formation in Cabo.

Here are our recommendations on how to get to the Arch of Cabo San Lucas (i.e., best Cabo Arch tours) and what you can see and do there.

Sculpted over millions of years, the Arch of Cabo San Lucas is a signature landmark of Los Cabos.

6 best cabo san lucas arch tours.

FAQs about the Cabo San Lucas Arch

Located at Land’s End, the southernmost tip of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula , the Arch of Cabo San Lucas is a distinctive granite rock formation which curves over the ocean in a majestic arch.

The three-story-high Arch is a natural phenomenon, carved by tidal and wind erosion over thousands of years.

A popular tourist attraction, it’s known locally as El Arco, which literally translates as “The Arch.”

You can’t walk or drive to it – it can only be reached from the water.

Attractions at El Arco

The sight of Los Cabos’ famous Arch is awe-inspiring.

But it’s more than just a stunning rock formation to gaze at. There are several other cool attractions to discover here too.

Lover’s Beach

Lover's Beach is one of the best beaches in Cabo San Lucas.

Known as Playa del Amor by the locals, this secluded hideaway sits between the mainland and the Arch of Los Cabos and, like the Arch, is only accessible by boat.

It hugs the protected Sea of Cortez , so the waters here are usually calm (especially in the morning, before the wind picks up, and then again around sunset , when the wind dies down).

Although the alluring scenery may ignite a romantic spark, you’re not likely to have the beach to yourself, as it’s one of the most popular spots in the area.

One reason: Its calm waters make it one of the few safe swimming beaches in Cabo . Second reason: There’s also some great snorkeling offshore.

Visitors enjoy kayaking, swimming and snorkeling at Lover's Beach.

Divorce Beach

Directly opposite Lover’s Beach, facing the rougher Pacific Ocean is this equally beautiful stretch of sand.

Jagged rock formations guard the beach like sentries.

You can walk across the sand from Lover's Beach to Divorce Beach

Divorce Beach is said to have earned its name because of the strong currents and impressive waves that crash upon the beach’s shores – which can result in couples fighting.

Like… “ Honey, don’t go for a swim there! ” and “ Nah, don’t worry, I can do it! ”

Both Divorce Beach and Lover’s Beach have no facilities (such as eateries or restrooms), so you should bring your own water and snacks.

Sea lion colony

Cabo’s Arch isn’t just popular with tourists.

Hanging out on a nearby wave-washed rocky platform ( La Lobera or The Rookery) is an entire colony of sea lions .

A big sea lion basks in the sunshine near the Arch

Fun fact: Weighing around 400 pounds, these water-loving creatures can hold their breath underwater for up to 20 minutes!

The best way to view these playful marine mammals is via a boat tour from the Cabo San Lucas Marina (details below).

You can hear them before you see them. Their bark echoes loudly across the water. Oh, and you can smell them too. Talk about stinky!

Pelicans and sea birds

Sea birds fly over the rocks at Land's End, Cabo San Lucas

The rock formations which line Land’s End are the perfect resting place for a range of sea birds, including egrets, gulls, cormorants and brown pelicans. (Sea birds like offshore rocks since they offer a safe refuge.)

The aptly named Pelican Rock (which itself sort-of looks like a pelican!) is a favorite spot for these noisy birds to roost – the white poop that coats the rock is a dead giveaway.

Pirate’s Cave

Pirate's Cave, Cabo San Lucas

Tucked away near the base of the picturesque Arch of Cabo San Lucas is a hidden cave that was once a clandestine haunt for pirates before the 1900s. Or so the rumor goes…

It’s said pirates used to lurk here and in other coves along the Baja coast, waiting for unsuspecting trade ships to pass by.

This sea cave is best seen at low tide on a boat tour.

The best way to see this famous rock formation is to take a Cabo Arch tour.

There are numerous tours available, from luxurious sunset cruises to kayaking adventures.

Below are some of our faves. When planning your trip to Cabo , you’ll want to do one of these!

Prices are in USD.

1) Sunset cruise

Arch of Cabo San Lucas

There’s really no better way to end a day in Cabo San Lucas than via a classy sailing experience as the sun sets over the stunning Arch.

Cabo Sailing is our go-to tour operator for this experience.

We’ve enjoyed two luxurious cruises with them now, sipping wine and margaritas and nibbling on appies as we sailed around the Cabo San Lucas rock formations.

Their sunset cruises take a maximum of 14 people but you can typically expect fewer people. We only had six guests (including us!) on one of our cruises.

A woman sips a glass of wine on a sunset cruise in Cabo San Lucas.

Alternatively, if you’re searching for a unique Cabo activity (maybe with the kids?), jump aboard a pirate ship for a sunset cruise like no other!

You’ll set sail on the only pirate ship in Cabo for a fun dinner cruise.

Hear pirate tales, play games with the pirate-dressed crew, dance, enjoy an open bar (adults only, of course!) and tuck into a barbecue dinner with ribs and chicken.

2) Water taxi ride to the Arch at Cabo San Lucas

Water taxi boats cruise by the Cabo San Lucas Arch.

If you’re just visiting Cabo during the day (maybe on a cruise?), a glass-bottom boat ride or water taxi is probably the best option to take you to the Arch.

You can hop on one from Medano Beach or the Cabo San Lucas Marina.

There are plenty of different vendors.

The cost varies, depending on whether they’re busy (i.e., if it’s high season or cruise ships are in the Cabo San Lucas port ) and how good your bargaining skills are.

But in general, the cost is about $20 to $25 p.p. If lots of cruise ship passengers are milling around, you might pay more.

These Cabo Land’s End tours typically putter around Land’s End, showing you all the sights – and slowing down at the Arch so you can take pictures.

If you’d like, they’ll drop you off at Lover’s Beach for some swimming or snorkeling and pick you up later at a predetermined time to take you back to where you came from.

For example, here’s a shared water taxi ride aboard a 30-foot boat that costs just under $20 p.p.

It’s one of the cheapest tours we’ve found! And it’s received tons of 5-star reviews.

The one-hour tour leaves from the Marina, and you have the option of being dropped off at Lover’s Beach on the way back. (Just ask, however, about being picked up again – that may cost extra.)

Alternatively, this glass-bottom boat tour is 45 minutes long.

You can ask for drop-off and pick-up at Lover’s Beach (time spent at the beach is in addition, making your tour longer).

Or you can ask to be dropped off at Medano Beach at the end, instead of back at the Marina.

Or upgrade from a glass bottom boat to a completely clear boat! It’s one of the most unique ways to tour Land’s End.

tours arco los cabos

When you’re in one of these completely transparent boats from Enva Tours, you can see all the colorful tropical fish through the bottom of the boat and the sides!

Their tours are 50 minutes’ long.

(But we don’t believe you have the option of getting off at Lover’s Beach and being picked up later. Perhaps if they’re not busy, you can arrange this.)

3) Kayaking tour to Land’s End

If you’d like to get some exercise too, a kayaking tour is one of the best ways to see the Arch in Cabo.

Paddling along the clear Sea of Cortez water, you’ll be met by unrivaled views of the Baja California Peninsula without the rumble of a motor disturbing the sounds of the ocean or the cries of seabirds.

A couple in a double kayak by the Los Cabos Arch

For kayaking tours in Cabo, we highly recommend a small family-operated tour company called Cabo Outfitters. We’ve gone out with them on several tours in Cabo (including a kayak tour).

Cabo Outfitters is run by a lovely couple, Casey Catlin and his wife.

They’ve been living in Cabo for over 22 years now and they’re incredibly knowledgeable about the area.

They only hire the best tour guides for their kayaking tours (Casey is one of them), so you can be confident you’re taking to the water in safe hands.

Their Arch and Lover’s Beach kayaking and snorkeling tour is about 3½ hours long and includes hotel transfers. All the reviews are 5-star.

4) Snorkeling or scuba diving near the Los Cabos Arch

Beneath the surface of the water near the Arch of Cabo San Lucas, there’s a whole world of marine life just waiting to greet you.

Fish underwater at Land's End

Sea turtles, rays and angelfish are just some of the creatures you may encounter here when snorkeling or scuba diving .

For snorkeling at Land’s End, we recommend this luxury yacht sailing and snorkeling tour with Cabo Sailing. We’ve done two sailing trips with them now – and love the upscale experience they offer.

You get to snorkel near El Arco, sip cocktails from an open bar and enjoy a light lunch on their 3-hour trips.

If you’re traveling with friends or family, you might like a private Cabo boat tour to the Arch.

Check out this private boat tour with La Isla Tours.

Their 32-foot x 12-foot custom-made catamaran is unique.

tours arco los cabos

The deck space is flat and wide, with lots of space to chill out – think comfy couch seating and coffee tables under a shade roof – and it comfortably takes up to 12 guests.

It putters out to the Arch, where it anchors so you can hang out, play your own music on their MP3 system, go snorkeling and relax on a floating mat.

You can even bring your own food and alcohol! (Or let them cater for you.)

Family on a floating mat in Cabo San Lucas

As for scuba diving, certified divers can go out with MANTA Scuba on a 2-tank dive at Land’s End on one of their shaded, custom-made dive boats.

The water visibility is typically very good – and you can watch the unique underwater sand falls here!

We’ve gone scuba diving with MANTA (at Cabo Pulmo National Park ) – they’re highly professional and very good.

5) SUP to the Arch

Another fantastic way to see Los Cabos’ famous Arch up close is by paddling there on a SUP board. It’s one of our favorite water-based activities in Cabo ! (Well, Janice’s – George is still working on his balance.)

You can rent stand-up paddleboards on Medano beach for around $25 to $30 an hour.

SUP is a popular water sport on Medano Beach.

Be aware that you can only SUP from Medano Beach to Land’s End early in the morning. For safety reasons, you can’t cross over the Marina channel after 10:00 am, when boat traffic picks up.

As it takes about 90 minutes to two hours to paddle to the Arch and back to Medano Beach, you should plan on leaving by 8:00 am at the latest.

Also, the wind is typically calm early in the morning, so the water will be flat and easier for paddling.

Alternatively, opt for a guided SUP tour , which includes snorkeling at Pelican Rock and/or relaxing on Lover’s Beach.

The beauty of this top-rated tour is that you go with an expert tour guide and instructor and learn how to SUP if you’re a newbie to the sport.

You also leave from a beach on the other side of the Marina channel – so you’re in no danger of crossing the path of any boats and don’t have to finish by 10:00 am.

Hotel pick-up and drop-off is included in this Los Cabos Arch tour.

6) Day sailing tour to the Arch of Cabo and beyond

Of course, the Cabo coastline consists of more than the Arch and Land’s End.

And there are some great sailing trips that visit both the Arch plus one or two other top snorkeling spots like Santa Maria Bay and Chileno Bay.

Check out this popular 4-hour snorkeling and sailing cruise from Cabo Adventures.

Lounge on cushions and pillows scattered about the deck of a luxury sailboat as you first cruise by the Arch. You then head for Santa Maria Bay or Chileno Bay, where you anchor for snorkeling and SUP boarding.

You’re also treated to an open bar, along with fresh grilled shrimp, seafood ceviche and chicken Caesar salad for lunch. Fresh towels, snorkeling gear and SUP boards are included.

Cabo Blue trimaran in Cabo San Lucas

Alternatively, if you like to sleep in, you may prefer this highly-rated snorkeling and sailing afternoon excursion on the 48-foot Cabo Blue trimaran.

Leaving at 1:00 pm, it combines a Cabo Land’s End tour with snorkeling at Santa Maria Bay.

Enjoy sipping on ice-cold cocktails from the open bar as you relax under a shaded canopy on the boat. After cruising to the Arch, you sail to Santa Maria Bay to snorkel.

The boat carries SUP boards, so you can try the sport of stand-up paddleboarding too.

More than 300 happy sailors have given this Santa Maria Bay and Cabo Arch boat tour 5-star reviews on Viator.

Stand-up paddleboarding in Cabo San Lucas

In the winter, these sailing adventures offer whale watching too.

Humpback and other whales migrate to the waters off Cabo in the winter months to mate and give birth to their young. So between December and April, you’ll probably also get to marvel at some of the largest mammals on the planet up close!

Frequently asked questions about the Cabo San Lucas Arch

What is land’s end, cabo san lucas.

Land's End, Cabo San Lucas

Land’s End is a unique geological feature consisting of dramatic rock formations at the southernmost tip of the Baja California Peninsula in Mexico.

It marks the point where the Sea of Cortez merges with the Pacific Ocean.

The highlight of this landmark is the iconic El Arco or Arch, a rugged symbol of the beauty of the region.

How was the Arch of Cabo San Lucas formed?

The Arch, which is part of the rock formations at Land’s End, was formed over millions of years through the process of erosion and weathering.

Over time, the wind and constant pounding of waves against the rock have worn away the softer rock, leaving behind only the harder parts that form the Arch.

Can you walk to the Arch in Cabo?

No, you can only get to the Arch via the water, be it by boat, kayak or stand-up paddleboard.

However, every few years, enough sand accumulates around the Arch and the tide recedes enough to reveal a hidden beach which runs from Divorce Beach under the Arch.

We were lucky enough to discover it one year. We were able to actually walk through the Arch and look at it from a unique vantage point.

Sand beach underneath the rock Arch of Cabo San Lucas

Mind you, we haven’t seen this sand beach underneath the Arch since that time.

Can you see the Arch at Cabo from the beach?

No, the Arch can’t be seen from Medano Beach.

One place, however, where you can see the Arch from shore is The Cape, a Thompson Hotel .

Its position at the northern end of the Cabo San Lucas Bay gives it great views – though they’re long distance views. It’s one of the best places to stay in Cabo .

That wraps up our guide on the Cabo San Lucas rock Arch!

No matter how many times we’ve visited the famous Arch in Cabo San Lucas, we never get tired of going out to visit it again.

This stunning natural wonder is a testament to the incredible power of nature and a must-see Cabo San Lucas attraction when you visit the area!

El Arco: The Natural Wonder of Cabo San Lucas

Head to the place where the land ends, at the very tip of the Baja Peninsula, and you’ll come face-to-face with Cabo’s crowning jewel: El Arco. The distinct and larger-than-life Arch of Cabo San Lucas towers three stories high, creating an unignorable landmark that can be seen for miles. Here, the ocean meets the sea and visitors create unforgettable memories against one of Cabo’s most beautiful backdrops. The Marine Life

The ocean and the sea, fly with next vacay and experience el arco firsthand.

When people picture Cabo, the first thing that comes to mind is likely El Arco. The impressive rock formation is almost synonymous with the city of Cabo San Lucas itself, so much so it’s likely hard for many to imagine a time when that wasn’t the case. In a way, that makes sense. The present-day fame of El Arco has been years in the making—115 million, to be exact.

The formation of basement rock on El Arco has been traced back to processes during the Cretaceous period, meaning some parts of the Arch formed when dinosaurs still roamed North America. Of course, El Arco itself isn’t nearly that old. Roughly 12 to 15 million years ago, the shifting of tectonic plates formed the peninsula that marks Land’s End. That makes it over twice as old as the Sea of Cortez . Over the course of millennia, wind and water whittled it away to create the famous El Arco landmark now known and loved the world over.

tours arco los cabos

Visitors who want to be astounded by El Arco’s size and beauty will have to do so via boat. The Arch of Cabo San Lucas is only accessible via the water. And while you can admire its distant visage from the shores of El Médano, you’ll want to head to the marina and the plethora of tours and boats it offers to get a close-up look at this massive structure.

Or, for budget travelers, you can head to El Arco right from the beach. Local boat transfers offer tours directly from El Medano Beach for a cheaper and more direct trip to the iconic landmark.

5 Best Ways to Enjoy the Arch of Cabo San Lucas + 1 Incredible Experience

Snorkel, kayak, or just cruise the seas and snap a photo. However you want to experience El Arco, tours from Cabo San Lucas to the Arch put it all within reach.

1. Sunset Cruise

tours arco los cabos

Sunset promises some of the most spectacular and magical views in Cabo San Lucas. So, it should come as no surprise that a sunset cruise of El Arco is one of the most enchanting ways to experience this landmark. Enjoy music and drinks aboard a catamaran boat as you tour the bay before heading to El Arco. Guests can snap photos in front of the Arch before heading to the Pacific Ocean to watch the sunset. The majesty of the Arch combined with the painter’s palette of the sky makes this a trip of unparalleled beauty and one you won’t soon forget.

Glass bottom boats in Cabo San Lucas are a dime a dozen, but if you want a truly unique boat to take to the Arch, the crystal-clear boat tour delivers. Entirely transparent, the crystal-clear boat tour offers an unobstructed view of the waters below and everything around you. The effect is an incredible and breathtaking 360-degree view. Join a group tour or book a private excursion for this unique experience of El Arco.

The waters around Cabo San Lucas are known for their varieties of tropical fish, corals, and other marine life, like sea turtles, sea lions, and even, on occasion, majestic whales . Visitors can snorkel or power snorkel under the waves to discover an incredible world under the sea’s surface. After spending that time swimming among darting fish and alongside gentle turtles, come back up to take in the impressive figure that El Arco cuts against the sky. It’s an image that never gets old.

tours arco los cabos

Make visiting the Arch of Cabo San Lucas an adventure by paddling there on a kayak. Experience the Sea of Cortez in all its glory and get an even closer look at some of the most iconic sights around Land’s End, like Lovers Beach , Pelican Rock, the sea lion colony, and, of course, El Arco itself. The sheer size of the Arch will really hit you looking up from sea level.

Some tours pair kayaking with snorkeling, so you can double the fun and maximize your time around the Arch. Or go at your own pace—pack a picnic and paddle out to enjoy a scenic day on the shore of Lovers Beach.

Cabo and luxury go hand in hand. So, if you want to take your experience of El Arco to the next level, it only makes sense to charter a private yacht. Quick group tours are perfect for those trying to fit a lot in their itinerary, but if you’d rather spend the day soaking up the sun and views, a yacht charter is the obvious choice.

Whole or half day bookings allow you to sail around the Arch of Cabo San Lucas at your leisure. Lay out on the deck and soak up some sun, wine and dine on gourmet food and tropical drinks, and even dive beneath the waves if you feel the urge. Most charters include gear for activities like snorkeling so you can explore El Arco both above and below the waves.

tours arco los cabos

It’s not often, but every few years, something amazing happens at the base of El Arco. Sand appears. This magical phenomenon occurs when the tide recedes enough to reveal the sand just waiting beneath El Arco. Visitors can stroll under the curving Arch and experience an entirely new way of viewing it—one few people get to.

While it’s nearly impossible to know when it will next occur, you can cross your fingers and your toes that the next time it does will be on your trip to Los Cabos!

5 Things to See at the Arch of Cabo San Lucas

It’s not just the Arch of Cabo San Lucas that’s impressive. The entirety of Land’s End is marked by beauty and distinct features that make this place special. So, while you visit the Arch, check out these other stunning features that dot both the landscape and waters of Land’s End.

tours arco los cabos

Just behind El Arco, the iconic Lovers Beach cradles the Sea of Cortez. Like something out of a fairytale, the beach sits nestled between giant rock formations with gentle waves kissing the shore. All in all, it’s easy to see how this romantic stretch of sand earned itself such an enchanting name.

Boats from the marina will take curious visitors to shore, where you can walk along the sand, dwarfed by the towering rocks of Land’s End, or go for a swim. Lover’s Beach is one of the few swimmable beaches in Cabo. It’s also easily among its best beaches , thanks to its gorgeous features, calm waters, and serene atmosphere. One of the most alluring aspects of Lovers Beach is the lack of vendors and amenities. For families picnicking in the sand or lovers strolling the shore, Lovers Beach is a quiet and picture-picture place to take in the beauty of Cabo.

Pirate’s Cave

It should be no surprise that Cabo’s colorful history includes its fair share of pirate encounters dating back centuries . And while pirates may no longer sail the seas, their caves and hidey-holes remain intact. One such rumored hiding spot, Pirate’s Cave, is located on the Pacific Ocean side of Land’s End. Large rocks frame this passageway, said to hold long-buried pirate treasures from the thriving age of the classic pirate.

While it’s hard to say if Pirate’s Cave actually holds any buried treasures, following the narrow passageway will lead to a prize of a different kind, opening onto the beautiful Divorce Beach.

Divorce Beach

tours arco los cabos

Lying opposite Lovers Beach, the name isn’t the only thing that separates this shore from its neighbor. Facing the Pacific Ocean side of Land’s End, Playa del Divorcio is known for the rough waves credited with giving the beach its infamous name.

While you can’t swim on Divorce Beach, taking in the sights is where the real fun lies. Crashing waves dash against the shore, and towering rock formations frame the beach. Ironically enough, despite the rather unromantic name, Divorce Beach is a pretty romantic spot to cuddle with your partner or stroll hand-in-hand along the golden sand.

If the rocks and beaches don’t hold your attention, perhaps what’s lounging on the rocks and darting beneath the waves will do the trick. Called “the World’s Aquarium” by French explorer Jacques Cousteau, the waters around El Arco team with life .

Thanks to an abundance of rich nutrients in the water, visitors will find everything from colorful fish to charming sea turtles swimming about. During the winter months, it’s not uncommon to spot humpback whales off Land’s End, while year-round, visitors to El Arco can spy sea lions basking on the rocks.

tours arco los cabos

It’s not every day you get to visit a place where the ocean meets the sea, but that’s exactly what you’ll find at the iconic Land’s End. The rock formation sits right between the calm and tranquil Sea of Cortez and the frothing and tumultuous Pacific Ocean. Where the land ends is where the two meet.

From Land’s End, visitors can take in both shores near-simultaneously. All that separates the two is a few minutes walk from the shore of Lovers Beach to the opposite coastline of Divorce Beach. You can stand in the middle and get a great view of both or relax on the shores of either beach for a beautiful—but markedly distinct—experience of the Sea of Cortez or the Pacific Ocean.

Just as El Arco is a staple of the landscape, it’s also a staple for anyone coming to Cabo San Lucas to enjoy. From diving below the waves to walking along the sand, El Arco stuns and amazes with its beautiful sights and breathtaking experiences.

Whether admiring the landmark during a glorious sunset or walking beneath it during the rare occasions when the tide recedes, there are numerous ways to indulge in the Arch of Cabo San Lucas. There are a lot fewer ways to get there.

You would spend your time touring beaches, learning about Los Cabos, their towns and their food. Balandra Beach was extremely beautiful, is very far from Los Cabos and you need to get there early because at 12 the police comes and everyone needs to leave, then the second tour, pm can enjoy the beach. Our tour guide did an amazing job, his name is Juan, due a recent hurricane it was difficult to go to different beaches, but he used his imagination and made it work. La Paz Malecon was gorgeous and very calm, the food was delicious. Todos Santos town is magical, we went during the dia de los muertos festivity and was extraordinary to see all the altars and catrinas. Definity this tour is a must !!! and kudos to Juan ! • GLG025 0 contributions 4.0 of 5 bubbles Balandera beach is beautiful but this can be a very long excursion ----short review---- Pros: - Balandera beach was beautiful (no drones allowed) - lunch was tasty - friendly staff Cons: - 2nd beach wasnt that great - lot of stops at shops, instead of interesting areas. - the van was fully packed with 12 ppl. Not a lot of room. - very long excursion with a lot of driving. ----detailed review---- The pick up from the hotel was punctual. I was picked up at 5am. The van was adequate and the AC was fine. Only problem was we were fully booked so there were 12 ppl in the van. Fortunately im not a big guy so it wasn't an issue but if you're a larger person then it might be an issue if you dont get the correct seat. We stopped at a breakfast spot. The empanadas were great. My group were all spanish speakers, except for me. Marco, translated what the main guide was saying into english. THANK YOU MARCO! After the breakfast spot, we headed off to Balandera beach. It was a pretty long drive due to traffic. We spent about 2 and a half hours there. It was beautiful and clean beach. Unfortunately drones are not allowed. They have beach umbrellas you can rent or if you're lucky you can grab one of the huts they have there for free. The water was clear and refreshing but definitely make sure you bring sunscreen. After the beach, we headed off to the 2nd beach. I didnt really enjoy this beach as much. There were definitely more colorful fishes there but overall, it was a commercial beach that didnt feel the same as the first beach. We spent about another 90 minutes here. After this, we went into town where we went into a store to watch how pearls were harvested. Was pretty cool to learn and you have a chance of winning a pearl that they harvest right in front of you. But be aware, mounting it is super expensive. Cheapest item you can mount it to cost over $100 USD. After this we were able to walk around the town for a bit. There wasnt anything to see other than shops. After this we went to eat lunch. The lunch was definitely one of the best meals i had during my entire stay in Cabo. The dish I could was a grilled fish in foil. Highly recommend it. It also came with a drink. After this we stopped at a church, which was pretty old and had really nice Frescos. After this we went to a place called "hotel california". Don't know why, because it felt like we were there just for the gift shops in the area. They will say the Eagles song, "Hotel California", was inspired by the hotel but a quick google search will tell you that's not the case. We were here for over an hour. There is a nice ice cream spot right beside the hotel which had great ice cream flavors. Overall, the excursion wasn't bad. I just wish we spent more time at Balandera beach and were taken to more historical spots that didnt feel like we were just being led from gift shop to gift shop. This just prolonged the excursion more than it needed to be. If the points of interest were actually interesting then it wouldnt feel as tedious as it did. The two guides were super friendly and tried their best to inform us of the history of the local areas and places we visited. Read more Written September 25, 2023
  • Kathleen H 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles If you’re looking to get out of Cabo for a day, this is a great option! This tour was a dream! We had a great guide who spoke both english and spanish flawlessly, as half of our group only spoke english and the other half only spanish. Pickup was easy (they’ll give you a call when they’re about 15 minutes out) and the car was well air-conditioned with plenty of cold water for everybody. Balandra and Corumel were stunning beaches, and La Paz and Todos Santos were very charming little towns. I would absolutely recommend this tour! Read more Written August 27, 2023
  • OnAir35269776952 0 contributions 3.0 of 5 bubbles Balandra Beach, La Paz, Todos Los Santos, Hotel California Tour Luvis transportation arrived late to the hotel. The driver had a nice personality. The van was old, and the air conditioner was not good. Balandra Beach with very few restrooms and not enough time to swim. Beautiful natural environment. The La Paz tour was a disaster, the restrooms were awful, very dirty, and there is not an area to change clothes. The restaurant included in the tour was bad, the chicken was not fully cooked, the restrooms were soiled, there was poop on the floor, and nobody was available to clean. • Elizabeth R 0 contributions 3.0 of 5 bubbles Fun time but only 1 downside Juan the guide was amazing! He was patient, polite, and accommodating. We had a fun time with super nice people but it was a long drive. The reason I wouldn't book the tour again is because the van was full , crowded and the rear suspension of the newer van was horrible; making the actual trip almost unbearable. The activity itself was really good though. Thanks Juan! Read more Written July 1, 2023
  • Takara1 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Fantastic Tour of La Paz and Todos Santos We have vacationed in Cabo many times but had not really explored La Paz because it was so far away. This Dec. 2022, we decided to take the La Paz full day tour with Luvis Tours. We used the Los Cabos Passport Discount Card so the trip was 2 for 1 and a great deal for my wife and I. We had a huge surprise when getting picked up: the tour bus had a total of 12 people and all the rest of them spoke Spanish!! We were the only ones that spoke English. Even the tour driver couldn't speak good English. Luckily, one woman on the tour spoke English so she translated for us. We usually experienced just the opposite on previous tours where the majority were Americans and maybe a couple of Mexicans. Now it appears the tourists include more local residents which is a good sign that the economy has improved for them. We were glad to see this and hope it continues. We never knew about Balandra Beach and Playa El Tesoro beach in La Paz so it was a fantastic new experience for us. We had lunch and also visited a church and walked around Todos Santos. The entire trip took 13 hours and we were glad we didn't have to drive. Our driver did a good job and we tipped him well. We will consider more tours by Luvis in the future. • Ruth L 0 contributions 2.0 of 5 bubbles Beach Tour The places we visited were lovely. We were given water, picked up and dropped off from our Airbnb and the van was up to par. It sounds like some tours stop at a gas station for snacks before the first beach. We stopped at a restaurant and were told to get food to go if we wanted. We weren’t told that this was our only stop before Balandra beach until it was to late. The company had provided homemade ham sandwiches but 3 of us were vegetarian and there were no other options. The lunch provided later was good. Although I would have liked more time at Balandra beach, and less time at the beach afterwards. That wasn’t the problem, our driver was. He was obviously overworked, tired and in a bad mood. At no point did he introduce himself to the group or us to each other. He left us places with little explanation and just told us what time to meet. He was a driver, not a tour guide. He made the group feel uncomfortable which made our day awkward. His driving was dangerous as well. At one point we were 5 feet away from a truck carrying flammable gases. Another gentleman in the group mentioned that the driver was having trouble staying awake. We all noticed how he was speeding and going in and out of traffic. In his defense, working 6 days a week with 14 hour days is not easy but, this was unacceptable! I rarely leave a negative review, but I felt it was necessary this time. Read more Written January 4, 2023
  • mariopartida 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Absolutely Beautiful The trip was great, I would highly recommend. We have been to Cabo many times, and have been putting off going on this excursion because of the length of time it takes up, but it was well worth it. Balandra Beach is absolutely beautiful! La Paz and Todo Santos are charming cities as well. Our driver Moy was informative and attentive to our every needs. Recommendation: Take a small cooler or bag to put some snacks / drinks in. Balandra Beach is beautiful, but you there is nothing to buy there. So when you stop at the Oxxo (Gas Station) before you get there, you can fill up your bag with snacks, a few drinks and some ice. Make sure it is not too big, as there is not much extra room in the van. You are only there for 2 hours early in the morning so you don't need a ton of drinks / snacks. AND PICUP YOUR TRASH! ALSO, Take a charging bank for your phone / camera. Because the trip is so long, many peoples phones / cameras died by the end of the trip. I did not get as many pictures as I would like in Todos Santos because of this. Read more Written July 11, 2022

  • Nausheend26 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Loved this tour! One if the best days in Cabo. This was one of the best trips we took from Cabo despite some hiccups and lack of organisation - we were picked up from our hotel at 5.20am and then on the way were offered breakfast (biscuits, sandwich, juice) although the only option they had in sandwich was pork so we were left with just biscuits for our breakfast. So it would have been better if they had a veggie or a chicken option. Then we were dropped off at playa balandra at 9.20am for 2 hours which went by really quick - first of all the restrooms there are kind of the honeybucket (although super clean) but had a line so that takes up about 15-20 minutes just to freshen up after the drop-off. Then to get the views you have to go up the mountain which is a good 30-35 minutes round trip up and back. Then if you really wanna enjoy you would want to walk your way to the Mushroom inside the water (instead of on the shore which is quicker) and click pictures which takes up another 40-45 minutes then to catch the bus you have to rush back so basically you don’t get anytime to sit and relax on such a beautiful beach. We could have used another half an hour more on that part. Then we were taken to another beach about half hour away, I think Playa Corumel, it had decent bathrooms and showers, some restaurants. We rented an umbrella there and the guy said if we ordered food and drinks from him he would give umbrella, chair and table for free. We were given another 2 hours at that beach which I think was a lot, given the beach wasn’t that great by itself. Then from there we were taken to the restaurant Mariscos El Paraje that served amazing food - options were grilled fish, breaded fish or chicken fajitas. We got grilled fish and fajitas both of which were really delicious. Then we were given an hour to walk on La Paz boardwalk, also taken to this pearl jewellery place to learn about how pearls are made, etc. Then on to Todos Santos which was about 1 hour 45 minutes drive from La Paz. Todos Santos is a magical and charming small town and you will fall in love with it - there’s a little flea market right behind Hotel California that was very cute. We were looking for some fresh coconut water and walked 2 blocks inside the town from Hotel California and reached this local spot where a woman sold all Mexican goods and dried coconut fresh water - it was truly refreshing to have that. Our tour guides - Daniel, Christian and driver George all did an amazing job at what they were doing and super helpful. Read more Written June 16, 2022
  • BurroTraveler 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Great fun for a day We had a great time in all the places we visited. Jony was great as a driver and explaining the historical facts and made the whole trip more entertaining for us. Maybe the only thing I would modify from the itinerary is the visit to Corumel beach. It was really not necessary and we would’ve spent more time at La Paz. Read more Written May 20, 2022

We were dropped off at Balandra beach at 7AM, left there for 3 hours, then taken to Tecolote beach for another hour. We were 8+ hours into the day before even getting to La Paz, where we spent 90 minutes. The stop in Todos Santos was an hour. Also, prepare for a LONG day (12-14 hours) and pack snacks. Our pickup time was 4AM. Lunch wasn’t served until after 2PM. Driver was friendly. Read more Written May 20, 2021
  • quentfabro 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Tour of Todos Sandos We booked a tour of Todos Santos with Luvis Tours. We had a very safe and knowledgeable driver named Fili. He was very friendly, spoke impeccable English and was very personable. I give him a 5+ out of 5 grading system. Four of the six people of our group had been to Todos Santos before so we didn’t need too much baby sitting. He provided history and insights into the area and was very flexible in taking us to different areas around the city and Cerritos Beach. If I had a tour business, I hire him-great employee. The city has made many improvements since we were there about three years ago. After stopping at Cerritos Beach, the old mission church, Hotel California, many art/craft stores and various other sites, we had dinner/drinks at the Tequila Sunrise Restaurant across from Hotel California. Great food/service. The owner there is very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend that place as well. Quent Fabro, Eagan, MN Read more Written April 17, 2021

El Arco 4 Ways – Which Is Yours?

See an iconic landmark from a new point of view..

El Arco

Seeing El Arco is a must on a getaway to Los Cabos. It’s not just a unique land formation; it’s a symbol of the strength and resilience of Los Cabos over the years and a reminder to be fortunate for where you are. On your next trip to Land’s End, try seeing El Arco from a new perspective. Here are four different ways you can take in this Los Cabos legend.

Sail at Sunset Imagine being on the open water, lit by the mellow oranges and pinks of a Los Cabos sunset as you look out at El Arco, drink in hand. There may not be a more romantic way to see this iconic landmark (though, keep reading because we may top it). Cabo Sailing offers many sailboat and yacht tours that are sure to all include a cruise by El Arco.

See It From Underwater For the more adventurous traveler, there are snorkeling and scuba tours that will let you see El Arco from underneath the surface of the ocean. Companies including Cabo Sailing and Rancho Tours will guide you to the waters near the landmark and help you point out angelfish, purple surgeonfish, long-spine porcupinefish and more marine life in the area.

Kayak to Lovers Beach Romance is in the name. Lovers Beach, or Playa del Amor, is a small secluded beach that requires a kayak, paddleboard or water taxi to reach it. There are guided tours that can take you there, but you can also rent your own kayak, bring a small picnic and have a pleasant day on Lovers Beach with El Arco within arm’s reach. Just don’t cross over to Divorce Beach on the Pacific Ocean side, as those waters are too dangerous to swim in.

Combine a Few Experiences For something that isn’t as exclusive as sunset sailing or adventurous as snorkeling, you can take a glass-bottom boat out to see El Arco and the surrounding rock formations. Consider it the best of both worlds – you get the ease of a boat tour, plus you can see all the marine life of a scuba tour without getting wet. This is also a good option for a jam-packed schedule, as these tours are shorter and let you enjoy more of Los Cabos on the same day.

My Bucket List Worthy Trip to El Arco in a Crystal Clear Boat in Los Cabos

last Updated: May 15, 2023 baja california cabo mexico

FYI: Affiliate links may be sprinkled throughout the awesome, free content you see below. I’ll receive a small commission when you purchase from my links (at no extra cost to you), which I’ll totally blow on adult things like boba tea and avocado toast. As always, thanks for the support.

Heading to the Baja Peninsula and itching to see the famous arch in a crystal clear boat in Los Cabos? After reading this post, you’ll have everything you need to know about booking a clear boat in Cabo San Lucas!

Cabo is my ultimate Mexican fantasy come to life. There’s crystal-clear waters teeming with wildlife, unlimited pina coladas at the swim up bar, authentic al pastor tacos and coca-colas, a colorful town filled with colonial buildings, and an overall sun-drenched chic desert vibe. But seeing the arch is the number one attraction, easily!

Crystal Clear Boat Los Cabos Mexico

On my latest trip to Cabo (a whirlwind of a few days celebrating a friend’s birthday — hi Mel!), I finally crossed this off my Mexico bucket list. Seeing the arch from a completely clear boat in Los Cabos was easily our favorite activity in all of Cabo, and we definitely crammed it all in!

Honestly guys, if you do one thing in Cabo (besides stuffing your face with tacos and sipping frozen cocktails at the swim up bar), make it this. I can’t stop gushing about the experience and looking at all the photos — yes, it was that cool.

Read Next: All Our Favorite Things to do in Los Cabos (see what we got up to here!)

I’ve been on plenty of boat tours around the world — from Maui and Milos (Greece) to Komodo (Indonesia) and Koh Phi Phi (Thailand) , but taking the clear boat out in Los Cabos was such a unique experience. I mean, the boat is 100% transparent — where else have you seen that before?!

And it’s literally not only the one and only crystal clear boat in Los Cabos, but in the world (keep reading to learn why).

Crystal Clear Boat Los Cabos Mexico

While the famous El Arco was easily the main attraction of the activity (and where we took loads and loads of photos), we also saw the Window to the Pacific, Neptune’s Finger, Lover’s Beach, and way more. The crystal clear boat in Los Cabos is definitely not your average Land’s End tour — keep reading for everything you need to know!

If you haven’t realized just yet, the boat is a COMPLETELY clear vessel → it’s 100% TRANSPARENT (yes, even the seats and sides)! Meaning you can see everything below the boat. There’s absolutely nothing getting in the way from seeing the mesmerizing blue waters of the Sea of Cortez, the colorful tropical fish, and the coral reefs below. We were stunned!

Crystal Clear Boat Los Cabos Mexico

Now, I’m not sure if the boat is made of actual glass — I think it’s more like a plexiglass or something close to that. But whatever it is, it’s completely see-through. The company even patented the clear structure of the boat for 10 years, so you definitely won’t see any other boats like it in the marina (or elsewhere in the world for that matter)!

And no matter where you sit, you’ll get a great view. The sitting areas are both on the outsides of the boat, so there’ll be nothing impeding your view (no bad seats here)!

Each crystal clear boat holds about 8-10 people (plus your captain and crew), so thankfully it’ll never feel insanely crowded. And since we had booked ourselves a private tour (more on that later), we had plenty (and plenty!) of space!

→ Book your crystal clear boat tour here!

Psst: this kinda goes without saying considering how small the boat is, but there’s no bathrooms on board. So make sure you go ahead of time (although you’ll only be on the boat for roughly 45 minutes to an hour, so I think you’ll be ok as long as you didn’t just chug margarita after margarita).

What’s the difference between a glass-bottom boat and this completely crystal clear boat in Los Cabos?

Honestly, they’re completely different experiences! Sure, a glass-bottom boat sounds pretty cool (at least I initially thought it did), but from what we saw, it’s just a regular boat with a small glass panel in the middle in a boxy kinda structure.

We saw plenty at the marina and they were kinda underwhelming. I’m sure you can see some wildlife from the boat in them, but I promise you, the 100% clear boat is infinitely more amazing . And it’s only a few bucks more, so I say choose the bucket-list worthy experience of course!

Crystal Clear Boat Los Cabos Mexico

Wanna save some money? You can easily hire a glass-bottom boat from a street vender at the marina (trust me, you won’t miss them — they’re a tad bit pushy), or you can book one in advance (saves you the hassle of waiting around if they’re busy).

But trust me — go with the completely transparent boat, you won’t be disappointed; we had SUCH a good time and the whole experience was absolutely amazing!

What’s so Special about El Arco anyways?!

It’s only the most distinctive landmark in southern Mexico, that’s all! The Arch of Cabo San Lucas was formed by wind, the rough tide, and tons and tons of time (it’s estimated to be between 13 million and 15 million years old..). And plus, it’s located exactly where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez, so pretty important stuff! :p

tours arco los cabos

It’s got a pretty interesting history, too. The whole area (including The Arch and other limestone stacks nearby) is also known as Land’s End, because sailors thought it was the last bit of land they’d see until reaching Antarctica! Pretty crazy stuff, right? So yeah, definitely don’t miss El Arco on your next trip to Cabo San Lucas.

BUT there are known cracks inside the structure of the Arch, so this could (over time) cause the Arch to collapse. Get there sooner than later!

Our Clear Boat Experience  in Los Cabos

Location : The clear boats depart from the marina in Cabo San Lucas (the party side of Cabo). If you’re not familiar with the area, just know there’s two very different sides to Los Cabos, and those staying in San Jose (the quieter, more cultural side) will need to get to Cabo San Lucas. Many tours offer pick up, so don’t worry!

Plus, there’s always Uber if you need it! Read about lots more logistical information in Los Cabos here!

Crystal Clear Boat Los Cabos Mexico

The Company and Pre-boarding: The amazing company that facilitates all these completely crystal clear boats in Los Cabos? Enva Tours! They’ve got Cabo’s only clear boat.

You’ll need to check in and fill out paperwork/sign waivers at the Enva Tours office located at Marina Sn Local 50 y 51 EE, Centro, Marina Colonia, Centro, 23450 Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S. Pop that baby into your GPS; it’s not that hard to find. 🙂

While we waited for our names to be called (there was definitely a decent amount of people heading out on the clear boats — it’s a popular activity here in Cabo), we did a little browsing at the shops nearby.

Things to do in San Jose del Cabo Baja Mexico

Once we were checked in and all that jazz, we made our way to the marina and onto the boat we went! We took off our shoes to protect the boat (to eliminate any potential scratches on the clear surface!), secured our life vests, and whipped out our cameras.

During the boat ride: As soon as we stepped onto the crystal clear boat , we were in awe. I swear, it was such a fun experience!

On our way out to sea, our guide pointed out all the beaches and points of interest along the way. And then we made it to El Arco — easily the most iconic (and distinctive) landmark in all of Los Cabos — I’m sure you’ve seen it on postcards and all over IG. We took alllll the photos we could ever imagine, and the photographer snapped away as well (more on that later).

Crystal Clear Boat Los Cabos Mexico

While the main attraction was definitely El Arco (the famous Arch of Cabo!), we also got a glimpse of the Cannery Beaches (beaches closest to the marina), Window to the Pacific, Playa Amor (Lover’s Beach), Neptune’s Finger, and everything else at Land’s End.

We also stopped by Pelican Rock, to, you guessed it, watch the pelicans for a bit, as well as sea lions sunning themselves on the rocks for a few minutes.

Throughout the ride, we saw all the fish right under the boat (one of the guides was throwing food into the water for max effect, but there were still lots whenever he wasn’t throwing food in). And OMG there were so many! Just look at that photo! I definitely didn’t expect to see puffer fish and schools of hundreds of fish (no exaggeration).

After we docked: After about an hour, unfortunately the tour was over, and we docked right back at the marina where we started. We then went back to the office to see our professional photos (every boat tour has a photographer join)! We decided to buy the whole package (~$80 for over 300 photos) and our guide promptly put them right onto our phones. Just make sure you’ve got enough space!

Additional Info on the Clear Boats in Cabo San Lucas

What to bring.

Things to do in San Jose del Cabo Baja Mexico

You honestly don’t need much (as the whole clear boat ride in Cabo is just about an hour), but you wanna make sure you’re comfortable! A few things to bring:

  • A camera , of course! The whole boat ride was so stunning I couldn’t put my camera down! I kinda wish I also brought along my GoPro to stick in the water to get some footage of all the fish (although you can easily get some video with your regular camera straight through the boat without getting anything wet — remember, it’s clear!)
  • A flowy beach coverup or sarong/kimono, especially if you wanna attempt to hide the bright orange life jacket in photos.
  • Sunglasses and a wide-brimmed beach hat , as the sun is super strong over here (and plus, hats look super cute in photos).
  • Slather on that sunscreen — gotta protect that skin!

Other things to keep in mind

  • Life jackets are required. You need to keep your life jacket on AT ALL TIMES. No matter what. And yes, that means for photos. While we wanted to take them off for a quick photo, I completely understand — safety first! You can disguise your life jacket under your cover up for photos though, and desaturate the orange when you’re editing your photos later on to hide it even more.

Crystal Clear Boat Los Cabos Mexico

  • Shoes are a no-no. You’ll be required to take your shoes off or put on blue booties over your shoes so that you don’t scratch the floor of the clear boat. I say just take your sandals off — who wants ugly blue booties in all your photos?!
  • Photos are offered. The tour guide takes photos of you on his camera (one of those chunky DSLRs) — available for purchase after the fact ($80 for all photos, we got that package and got around 300 photos total). I think it really depends on the photographer, but he did a pretty good job, although all his photos were pretty heavily saturated and very warm in tone. Definitely take at least some of your own photos if you don’t wanna buy them or don’t like how they turned out.
  • You’ll need good weather. Going out in the crystal clear boat in Los Cabos requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a ride on a different date or a full refund, your choice. On that note, we went in the morning (the 10am slot), and the water was relatively calm compared to later on in the day when we took a water taxi to Lover’s Beach.

tours arco los cabos

  • The seas can be kinda rough. If you’re prone to seasickness and are going in the afternoon or on a slightly windy day, definitely pop some Dramamine beforehand just in case.

The Tour Options: Private vs Public vs Extras

A few options are offered, depending on who you book with.

Public Tours: We saw a few clear boats that were clearly public tours, and everyone had space on the boat to move around a bit. It didn’t look like anyone was crammed in, which I appreciate. Public tours are easy to book, and you can book directly with the company or through a tour operator like Viator and GetYourGuide . Read reviews and book your clear boat tour here!

Crystal Clear Boat Los Cabos Mexico

If you’d rather book your crystal clear boat tour to the Arch with a few extras (did someone say tequila tasting?!), check out this tour that includes a tequila tasting tour, bottled water, time at Medano Beach, and free time at the Marina for strolling or shopping. Oh! And it also includes pick-up and drop-off at almost all hotels, so definitely worth the extra cost! Read reviews and book here!

Private Tours: This is what my friends and I chose, and we couldn’t have been happier. Not only did we have so much space on the boat (it was just us 4 plus the photographer/guide and captain), but we were given all the time in the world for photos!

Private tours are obviously more expensive at around ~$200USD per hour, but since there were 4 of us splitting the fare, we only paid a bit extra than we would have on the public tour.

If you’ve got a group of 4 or 5, I say go for the private tour — it’s definitely worth it (albeit a tad more expensive). You’ll need to book directly with the company as it looks like they’re the only ones who actually offer private tours.

Other Things to do in Cabo San Lucas

If you’re already in the area for the clear boat tour, why not stick around a bit longer and explore?! Besides walking along the marina (and picking out your next yacht purchase, haha), there’s tons of bars and restaurants to check out, as well as lots of fun activities! My favorites below:

Snorkeling Tour : If seeing the fish through the crystal clear boat in Los Cabos wasn’t enough for ya, book yourself on a snorkeling tour. Cabo has one of the most beautiful coral reefs in the world afterall! On this tour , you’ll swim in the azure waters of Santa Maria Bay (near the arch!) with tons of colorful tropical fish and such a fun crew. They even serve icy margaritas and cold cervezas afterwards! Read reviews and book your snorkeling tour here!

tours arco los cabos

Swim at Playa del Amor: Stunning, soft white sands. Amazing rock formations. Beautiful clear water. It is Baja’s most famous beach afterall. Playa del Amor, or Lover’s Beach, is easily one of Cabo’s most famous stretches of shoreline — and definitely one of the most stunning. And yes, this is one of the beaches you can actually safely swim in (although the currents were still kinda strong).

But do note it can get kinda crowded, so don’t expect a romantic rendezvous with your significant other (despite the beach’s name). Plus, the sand was incredibly hot when we visited, so we had to literally run back and forth from our towels/bags and the ocean.

Walk Along Divorce Beach: Right on the other side of Playa del Amor you’ll find Divorce Beach. You can walk between the two beaches, but note that you can only swim on the Cabo San Lucas/Sea of Cortez side at Lover’s Beach, NOT over here at Divorce Beach. It’s just way too dangerous to swim in — the water is turbulent and there’s powerful rip currents.

Eat and Drink: There’s tons of beach bars after your day of adventuring and some chic spots for dinner. We had mojitos and margs at The Porch (the best on a humid and scorching hot day), and then mole and churros afterwards at Hacienda Cocina y Cantina!

tours arco los cabos

ATV Tour on the beach : Strap on your helmet, fasten your googles, and pull up your bandana/mask — we’re going ATVing! If you’ve never ridden an ATV before, Cabo’s the place to do it (if you aren’t going to Santorini anytime soon!). You’ll be driving through a wide variety of terrain: trailed and slightly mountainous, arid desert landscapes dotted with cacti, sandy beaches with ocean views….the works!!

You can choose a single or double ATV depending on who in your party wants to drive (I always let my husband drive as I don’t trust myself, haha). Definitely one of the most adventurous things to do in San Jose del Cabo, and a great way to see some local beaches! Read reviews and book your own ATV tour here!

I hope this helps you decide if a crystal clear boat in Los Cabos is for you! We absolutely loved it and it was easily one of our favorite things to do in Cabo San Lucas!

Can You Walk to El Arco in Cabo? A Beautiful Hike

At los cabos.

  • 19:23 03/04/2024

Walking path to El Arco In Cabo. The path ends at Lover's Beach.

While it’s a common question among tourists—” Can you walk to El Arco in Cabo? “—the answer is no. Its location on the water makes direct access challenging.

It is worth mentioning that there is an unmarked path along Land’s end (seen above). The path can take you as far as Lover’s Beach. That said, the path isn’t for everyone.

A similar answer is if it is possible to  swim to El Arco . While physical exercise is possible, there are conditions to consider before attempting to do so.
