The hot summer season runs from March through June when temperatures soar into the high 90`s with high humidity, and the hottest months are April and May. In Phuket, the weather is hot and humid year-round, with the hottest months being March through May. November and April are the most popular times to visit the island with a high number of travelers seeking tropical temperatures. The country is prone to monsoons from July to October with the heaviest rainfall taking place from August to September when flash flooding is most common. The cooler winter months are from November to February which is the most pleasant time of year to visit the country. During these months temperatures hover in the mid-`80s during the day and low 70`s at night with less frequent rain. December and January are very popular times to visit Thailand with numerous holiday festivities. People flock to this area and airline tickets and hotel prices are at their highest. The northern areas of the country such as Chiang Mai experience much colder temperatures during the winter due to their location in the mountains where frost is sometimes present. Super Rich is the most famous money exchange company in Bangkok with several branches across the city; you must have your passport with you to exchange money in Bangkok. Tipping is not a common practice in Thailand and is not customary. There is no requirement to tip but small gratuities for great service are appreciated, and most restaurants and hotels will include a 10% service charge on your bill. Thailand Tours & Vacations
Thailand is an idyllic paradise, where jungle-covered karsts plunge into aquamarine waters and the sand is sugar white.
But no matter how clichéd the fantasy, Thailand delivers in spades. The water around Krabi and Ko Tao really is that deep, cool shade of blue. Phi Phi’s limestone karsts really do look like some alien world. And the food? Let’s just say your local Pad Thai has nothing on Chiang Mai’s street stalls or the floating markets of Amphawa, where little old ladies do things with fish sauce and chili you never thought possible. From the waterfalls of Erawan to a homestay with the hill tribes of the Golden Triangle, these adventures go beyond the tourist traps. Buckle up.

Best time to visit thailand.
Thailand's climate is generally hot, humid, and at times (like other South East Asian countries) monsoonal. The seasons differ from coast to coast, so depending on which areas you're visiting, the weather can vary.
Thailand's mainland region is great to visit from November to February when the weather is cooler and dryer.
If you are planning on visiting the Gulf Coast (east), avoid the northeast monsoon that brings rain from October to January. For destinations like Phuket on the west side of the peninsula, the best time is November to April to avoid the other monsoon which causes Thailand's wet season from May to October.

Culture and customs
Often considered the epicenter of Buddhism, religion permeates daily life in Thailand. Sprinkled throughout the country are thousands of golden temples, where you’ll find Buddhist monks in orange robes walking the streets. Young men are expected to spend some time as a monk as it bestows honor on their families. Visitors should be respectful of monks and dress modestly when visiting a temple (cover your knees and shoulders and remove your shoes).
Like other Asian nations, the concept of ‘saving face’ is important. This means avoiding conflict or embarrassment in order to preserve social standing, dignity, and honor. Thai people will go out of their way to avoid ‘losing face’. Losing your temper or raising your voice are surefire ways to lose face and can be perceived as volatile or rude.
Eating and drinking
Thai food has everything from spicy dishes packed with chilis to milder coconut-based curries. With street stalls and night markets all over the country, it's really easy to pick up a snack wherever you are in Thailand. On many Intrepid trips, you'll be given the opportunity to have dinner with a local family – this offers a great chance to see how meals are prepared and learn more about the local culture. Go a step further on our 8-day Thailand Read Food Adventure to watch, eat, prepare, and present tasty and traditional Thai cuisine.
Things to try in Thailand
1. Pad Thai (Phat Thai)
A well-known dish but for good reason. This delicious plate of stir-fried rice noodles garnished with peanuts is full of flavor and can be served with fresh prawns, chicken, tofu, or vegetables.
2. Tom Yum (Tom Yam)
Usually prepared with stock, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, and chili, this soup is widely available in Thailand and has been popularised around the world.
3. Green curry
One of many curries that Thais do so well. Green curry consists of chicken, Thai eggplant, and chilies bathed in a coconut milk-based sauce.
4. Som tam (green papaya salad)
This northern dish of shredded raw papaya, cherry tomatoes, and green beans is a tantalizing mix of sweet, spicy, and sour flavors.
5. Coconut water
For a super fresh thirst quencher, try coconut water straight from the husk.
6. Tropical fruit
Fruit shakes and fresh fruit juices are widely available from markets and restaurants – make the most of all the tropical fruits of Thailand.
Geography and environment
Sharing borders with South East Asian neighbors Cambodia , Laos , Malaysia , and Myanmar (Burma), Thailand's natural environment varies greatly from region to region. From the steamy jungles and misty highlands in the north to the white sand beaches and picturesque islands of the south, Thailand's everchanging landscape has been fascinating and entertaining travelers for centuries.
The capital, Bangkok, is a heaving, urban jungle with skyscrapers, street vendors, markets, cars, tuk-tuks, bicycles, and masses of people all competing for space. Despite this, there are pockets of quiet beauty to be found with parks, temples, and traditional shop fronts scattered throughout the city.
Rural areas in the north are typically quieter, with locals living a more traditional way of life; the frenetic pace of the city giving way to a more slow-paced, agricultural-based lifestyle. Houses are simple, there's more space and less of the modern conveniences. Jungles, rivers, bamboo huts, and teak houses are more commonly seen here, and birds and other animal life are more abundant.
History and government
Early history.
Communities based on agriculture (such as rice growing) inhabited Siam (Thailand) as early as the 6th century. In the following centuries, Siam came under the influence of the Khmer, Dvaravati, and Malay cultures, with some temples and monuments in modern-day Thailand showing evidence of this influence. In the 13th century, the city of Sukhothai in northern Thailand became an important capital. The ruins of the Sukhothai Historical Park (a UNESCO World Heritage site) feature remnants of the royal palace, temples, and other buildings and highlight the artistic and architectural features of the era.
Ayutthaya rose to prominence as the new capital in the 14th century and was considered a powerhouse of South East Asia as one of the most important centers of trade in the world. Enduring many battles, invasions, overthrows, and coups, Ayutthaya's far-reaching trade with other regions ensured a flourishing influence of art, weaponry, religion, and cuisine. Much wealth was generated by this enormous empire, with grand palaces, ornate buildings, and huge temples featured throughout the city. All this came to an end when the Burmese invaded in the 18th century, bringing the kingdom to ruin and resulting in the loss of many artistic and cultural treasures. Despite this, the ruins of the city are still standing, have been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site, and are a great day trip from Bangkok. See the sights of ancient and recent Thai history during a 3 day River Kwai and Ancient Thai Kingdoms tour.
Recent history
Thonburi was established as the capital of Siam by General Taksin in the late 18th century, yet this didn't last long with Taksim being deposed and executed not long after. Bangkok was then named capital by General Chakri, who became Rama I - the first king of the Rama Dynasty.
Over the years, Siam (Thailand) remained the only South East Asian country to remain free from European colonization. In 1932, the Siamese Revolution resulted in a constitutional monarchy being formed, and in 1941, Thailand invaded French Indochina, overpowered the French, and claimed Laos.
In the last thirty years, Thailand has seen political power change hands many times, often due to coups, revolutions, and protests. Despite this, Thailand’s economy continues to grow due to its strong tourist industry. Enduring all this, the much-loved King Rama IX has reigned as the Head of State since 1946 - claiming the title of the longest-reigning monarch in the world and providing Thai people with a stable figure to rely upon.

6. Sukhothai
This former capital is a history buff's heaven. Nicknamed the 'Dawn of Happiness', Sukhothai still recalls Siam's golden age with its superb statues, marvelous monuments, and lotus flowers in full bloom. A trip to the night market is a real eye-opener; try everything from fried rice to fried bugs.

Bustling street markets filled with colorful vendors selling an assortment of goods can be found in small villages and large towns throughout the country. Luxurious, multi-level shopping malls that rival those in European cities are increasingly popping up.
The Chatuchak Weekend Market in Bangkok is perhaps the largest and most extensive market in the world. Here vendors sell everything you can think of, from ceramics to Thai silk to vintage clothing. Bartering is expected at markets and most small vendors. As a rule of thumb, if the price isn’t listed, it’s negotiable. But remember, Thais appreciate friendliness and a sense of humor. The more aggressive you are in trying to get a deal, the less likely you are to get one.
Things to buy in Thailand
- Vibrant fabric cushions, tablecloths, and hammocks
- Silver jewelry (look for reputable stores)
- Handcrafted umbrellas or parasols
- Thai silk scarves, ties, wraps, and clothing
- Colorful Celadon ceramics
- Tailor-made clothing
Festival and events
Loy krathong (festival of lights).
During the 12th lunar month, people across the country gather around lakes, rivers, and canals to symbolically let their worries float away in the most magical way – by releasing colorful lotus-shaped rafts holding candles, incense, and flowers onto the water.
Yee Peng (or Yi Peng)
At the same time that Loy Krathong is taking place, Chiang Mai also celebrates Yee Peng. Religious events, cultural activities, and street parades all mark this Buddhist tradition. But what makes this festival truly spectacular is the release of thousands of sky lanterns that illuminate the sky.
Songkran (Thai New Year)
What happens when New Year’s Day falls during the height of summer? It morphs into a giant water fight. Some towns celebrate just on the day (April 13), while others stretch it out for several days of concerts, ceremonies, and other wet festivities.
Chiang Mai Flower Festival
Flowers are used in ways you never thought imaginable at this colorful three-day event in February. Come for the parade of impressive floral floats, and stay for the tasty Thai street food, music, and performances.

What's the transport like in Thailand?
Intrepid believes half the fun of experiencing a new country is getting there, and getting around once there! Where possible, Intrepid uses local transport options and traditional modes of transport - which usually carry less of an environmental impact, support small local operators, and are more fun.
Depending on which trip you're on while in Thailand, you may find yourself traveling by Songthaew.
Get to know the locals as you share a ride in these converted pick-up trucks. Snagging a seat on the ‘two benches’ (the literal meaning of songthaew) is a popular way of getting around South East Asia.
See Thailand from the ground level on a Saamlaw, the three-wheeled wonder. Sometimes motorized but usually pedal-powered by a local, it’s a fun way to get from A to B or see a new city's sights.

More information about Thailand
A vacation to Thailand is one of the most popular travel experiences in Southeast Asia . The country continues to attract the public thanks to its fantastic mix of spectacular beaches, temples, delicious cuisine, a variety of activities and its cheerful locals. Located in the center of Southeast Asia , on the Indochina Peninsula , the Kingdom of Thailand is a dazzling treasure of the East. Its shares a border on to the east with Laos , on the southeast with Cambodia and the Gulf of Thailand , on the south with Malaysia and on the west with Myanmar and the Andaman Sea.
Its 69 million inhabitants are distributed along 1770 kilometers from north to south and 805 kilometers from east to west in 76 provinces , which have the same name as their corresponding capital cities. Bangkok is the most populated and has the highest population density. On a tour of Thailand , you will be amazed by the kindness of its inhabitants; it has even been granted the nickname of ‘ The Land of Smiles’.
The most mountainous area can be found close to the border with Myanmar and the highest peak is the Doi Inthanon at 2595 meters and is located to the north, in the province of Chiang Mai. Its two main river systems are the Chao Phraya, which provides drainage for 35% of the country and runs through the heart of Bangkok and the Mekong River , which serves as a natural border with Myanmar and Laos in the famous Golden Triangle.
Thailand enjoys a humid tropical climate with temperatures ranging between 15 and 35 degrees Celsius. The monsoon season runs from June to October , and the coolest months are from November to February. The remainder of the year is delightfully warm.
Nature in Thailand
Thailand has a varied landscape, ranging from woodland to tropical mangroves, in the form of forests and jungles, which covers 25% of the country and which together with the plateau, exhibits exuberant specimens of mangroves, Indian reeds, ebony, teak, oak , pines, bamboos, palms, ratans, lianas, fruit trees such as coconuts, mangoes and bananas and up to 27,000 species of plants and flowers such as fistula, orchids , hibiscus or gardenias.
The more than 100 national parks have a fundamental role in the protection of the 313 species of reptiles , 107 of amphibians , 900 of birds and 300 species of mammals that can be found in the country, such as elephants, tigers, monkeys, leopards, wild oxen, buffalos, tapirs, snakes and crocodiles. Thailand also has exceptionally rich marine life including reef fish, sea cow, crossbow fish, whale shark, and giant spider crabs, ensuring scuba diving is one of the most common activities for visitors on a trip to Thailand.
Economy in Thailand
The Thai economy is supported by agriculture, rice cultivation, duck, pig, ox and cow farming and fishing in the Andaman Sea , Gulf of Thailand and the Mekong River . Being one of the ten most visited countries in the world, tourism represents one of the main sources of income and has produced many job opportunities for its inhabitants.
It is a very well connected country and has a large transport network, so it is an easy country in which to enjoy a tour. It has 25 airports and many international airlines land in Bangkok , one of the most important airports in Asia. It has an extensive network of roads that move buses, minivans, cars, and motorcycles; the railways connect the most important cities of the country; A large number of private ferry companies connect the many islands and the best options to get around the capital's streets are the subway, the metro, the taxi or on a traditional tuk-tuk.
Religion in Thailand
75% of Thailand’s inhabitants belong to the Que Tai and Lao ethnic groups, the vast Chinese community represents about 15% of the population and the remainder of the country’s inhabitants are either Malays, Mon, Khmer and indigenous tribes from the highlands.
95% of the population follows the Buddhist Theravada school of belief, 4% are Muslim and the remaining 1% identify as either Hindu, Christian, Confucian or Taoist. Thai men usually enter temporarily into a monastery for about three months after finishing their university studies. In the time they are there, they are novice monks and they can decide freely when to leave it. The reason why they do this is to cleanse their mind, earn merit and honor their parents.
History of Thailand
A package holiday to Thailand will undoubtedly bring you face-to-face with the living monuments of the country’s vast history. The oldest archaeological site in Thailand dates from 3600 BC but the founding of the nation was established in 1238 with the Kingdom of Sukhothai until 1365 when it was replaced by the Kingdom of Ayutthaya. After the fall of this kingdom in 1767, at the hands of the Burmese when the capital was devastated and burned, it was moved to Thonburi under the mandate of King Taksin the Great. In 1782 the reign of Siam passed to the Chakri dynasty with Rama I, who declared Bangkok the new capital.
The absolute monarchy of Rama VII became constitutional as a result of the coup d'état of 1932 . During the Second World War , Thailand was allied with Japan , but during the final stages of the war, it unified with the United States . In 1946 Rama IX came to the throne and in 1949 , Siam changed its name to Thailand . After 17 violent attempts to seize political power and years of political instability, in 2014 the army staged a new coup d'etat. In 2016 the beloved king died, putting an end to the most enduring reign in the world. After seven decades of rule, the king was succeeded by his son Rama who found himself under a military dictatorship. Despite the attempts, it is the only Southeast Asian country that has never been colonized by a European power.
Culture and Traditions in Thailand
The Thais have had a centuries-long special relationship with elephants , or ‘chang’ , as they call them. These immense and beautiful creatures have been a fundamental part of the culture and appeared on the national flag until 1917 . Throughout history, these noble animals have been domesticated and have assisted in the construction, transport, and warfare. The importance and admiration for them are also reflected in Buddhist and Hindu beliefs and mythological legends giving them a mystical power and making them bearers of good luck. They are a true symbol for the country.
It is true that elephants in Thailand have also been the object of abuse, ill-treatment, and illegal trade, but fortunately, there are institutions that ethically rescue, care for, treat and feed them.
The picturesque floating markets are another of the Thai traditions and an essential visit on a holiday to Thailand . A universe of canals, canoes, and houses on stilts, these floating markets are a unique insight into the daily lives of the locals as they buy and sell fruits, vegetables, crafts, and freshly cooked dishes.
Thai boxing or ‘Muay Thai’ is a popular martial art and is considered a national sport. In the Kingdom of Sukhothai , it was part of the military training of the soldiers.
Thai massages are another hallmark of the country and follow an ancient philosophy. The technique was created 2,500 years ago by Dr. Shivago , Buddha's physician, in which he combined different Asian techniques, Ayurvedic principles, and yoga postures . You cannot fully experience a tour of Thailand without enjoying one of these wonderful massages. The technique consists of strong pressure and stretches in which the therapist uses their hands, fists, elbows, knees, feet, arms and legs in order for the recipient to achieve physical, mental and emotional balance . There are countless massage parlors throughout the country and the prices are very cheap.
Embarking on a comprehensive tour of Thailand takes visitors through a fascinating and varied territory with a vast history to discover a country that will surprise you with its unique landscapes and variety of traditions. The country is a heavyweight in tourism and it is well deserved. Everyone wants to go and discover the country for themselves and whoever has visited always wants to return to explore further.
Why is Thailand the most popular destination in Asia?
The answer is simple; because it has everything; a rich historical heritage, the fruit of the kingdoms of Siam and Lanna; ancestral traditions and rigorous customs; a sublime artistic legacy that is reflected in the delicacy and beauty of its temples; captivating cities, well connected to each other; a bustling capital city; a dreamlike landscape that stretches from the lush mountain forests of the north to the idyllic islands of the south with magnificent beaches of fine sand and warm crystalline waters; national parks and nature reserves full of exotic wildlife, frantic cities and quiet rural areas, a delicious aromatic cuisine, a warm climate, accommodations of all kinds and for all budgets, virgin landscapes in which to practice sports such as hiking, snorkeling, kayaking, cycling, sailing or rafting, a lively nightlife and a mystical and spiritual environment; numerous modern shopping centers and street markets, an infrastructure prepared for tourism and affordable prices; and the most important thing, kind and friendly locals who always greet visitors with an unbreakable smile, infecting you with their infinite joy and their caring, tolerant and educated attitude, perhaps the fruit of Buddhist teachings. Hence the Thai proverb, ‘do good and receive good, do evil and receive evil’.
A holiday to Thailand means entering into the deepest and warmest of Asian traditions. Its millenarian culture is a reference point and attracts, like a magnet, the western tourist who seeks traveler enrichment and open-mindedness. The capital, Bangkok , is a bustling and extensive city, with a cultural treasure that deserves to be given time before leaving for one of the more than one hundred tropical islands that are distributed between the Gulf of Thailand or the Andaman Sea , always a highlight in all-inclusive trips to Thailand . On these islands, you can find young people in search of nightlife and also those who seek silence or solely the whisper of the waves. And for the most restless, the north of the country offers all the possibilities and the mystery of the jungle in the Golden Triangle of Thailand.
Thailand is a land of freedom. When you step foot in the country it seduces you with what you see, hear, taste, smell and feel. That's why traveling to Thailand means immersing yourself in an unbeatable cocktail of floating markets and tuk-tuks, pad thai and tropical fruits, waterfalls and lakes, skyscrapers and houseboats, lanterns illuminating the night sky, sun and rain, sea and mountains, monks with saffron robes and Buddhist rituals, rivers and forests, flowers and offerings, caves and coral reefs, golden Buddhas and temples with pointed roofs.Thai’s are experts at making floral arrangements that they exhibit as ornamentation in their sacred places. Mythical Thailand is like a flower; delicate, colorful, aromatic, beautiful, wild, romantic and natural. Do not hesitate to explore; a magical trip awaits you.

What is an all-inclusive resort?
Thailand all-inclusive resorts provide you more for your money and reduce your planning stress. While their exact offerings will vary, you can usually expect meals and drinks to be included with your room rate, often with unlimited options. That’s what we call a relaxing vacation!
Many resorts also include activities, plus evening entertainment options such as live shows or theme parties. Tips and gratuities are usually included too (though still welcome).
Does all-inclusive include alcohol?
Most all-inclusive resorts in Thailand will include alcohol in their all-inclusive rates. However, they may charge extra for things like premium or imported spirits. Always check the details of your resort before booking, as there are some that do not include alcoholic beverages.
Does “all-inclusive” include flights to Thailand?
All-inclusive resort rates typically do not include flights. Your room rate includes only what you need once you’ve landed, like food, drinks, and entertainment. That’s where Travelocity’s all-inclusive packages come in. You can bundle your all-inclusive accommodation and your flight to Thailand to get you the best rate—and peace of mind knowing everything is taken care of.
Are all-inclusive trips to Thailand worth it?
All-inclusive vacations to Thailand are well worth the up-front cost. Once you’ve booked your Thailand resort, you don’t have to think about the word “budget” again. Everything you need is nearby, from delicious restaurants to daily activities, and night-time entertainment. There’s no limit to your fun, and you never have to watch your spending, because it’s all included.

Land of Smiles
There is certainly a lot to smile about when you vacation in Thailand. Here, the Old World meets something entirely new. From temples to markets to food to waterways to beaches to nightlife, there is something to please everyone. As Thailand – a constitutional monarchy – is the only country in Southeast Asia to not have been colonized by Europeans, its cultural identity remains largely intact. And the Thai people, among the friendliest in the world, love to share their country with visitors. The only question is what not to see!
Destination Must-See's
Bangkok, or the City of Angels, was founded in 1782 by King Rama I – first king of the present Chakri dynasty. It has come a long way in 235 years. It is the political, economic, cultural, culinary, and spiritual capital of Thailand, and one of the world’s most visited cities. With so much to offer, how does one prioritize? Start with its temples, such as Wat Pho, Wat Phra Kaew, and Wat Arun. For more culture, visit the Grand Palace and the National Museum.
Buddhist Temples:
Buddhist temples in Thailand are known as wats. There are more than 30,000 temples in Thailand – 400 functioning temples in Bangkok alone. Wat Pho in Bangkok is Thailand’s most sacred site, and home to the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. This golden Buddha is 151 feet long and the largest in Thailand. Wat Phra Kaew, also in Bangkok, is the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Thailand’s most sacred Buddha sculpture carved out of green jade. Bangkok’s Wat Arun, or the Temple of Dawn, has the tallest prang (tower) in Thailand – 220 feet high – decorated with bits of porcelain and seashells.
The Grand Palace:
The Grand Palace, located in Bangkok, is actually many buildings. King Rama I, founder of the Chakri dynasty, began construction of his royal palace in 1782, and it was used as a royal residence until 1925. Surrounded by four walls, it has a total area of 2,351,000 square feet. There are three main zones: the Outer Court (royal offices, public buildings, and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha); the Middle Court (important residential and state buildings); and the Inner Court (exclusive to the King, Queen, and consorts). It is a must-see in Bangkok.
Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai:
In the north of Thailand there are two cities definitely worth a visit. Chiang Rai is the northernmost large city in Thailand. It was founded in 1262 as the second capital of the Lanna kingdom, after Chiang Saen. Some notable sites are temples such as the Wat Rong Khun Temple (the white temple); the Saturday Walking Street market and the Night Bazaar; and the Hill-Tribes Museum and Education Centre. Chiang Mai, or the “Rose of the North,” is Thailand’s northern capital. It succeeded Chiang Rai as the capital of the Lanna kingdom in 1296. Some notable sites here are Wat Prathat Doi Suthep, the most famous of the city’s 300 temples; and the Sunday Evening Walking Street market.
Destination Must-Do's
Markets are a way of life for the Thai people, and they are popular with visitors as well. The Chatuchak Market in Bangkok has more than 8,000 shops on weekends. Vendors sell fruits and vegetables, clothes, pottery and ceramics, basketry, accessories, flowers, and even pets, among other things. The Silom district of Bangkok has all manner of shopping, from a mall to markets, including a night market. Night markets have a lively atmosphere. You can find local items here, along with food, drink and live music. They can get quite crowded. Floating markets emerged as a result of daily commerce being done along rivers and klongs (canals). Damnoen Saduak, outside Bangkok, is the most famous.
Thai Cuisine:
Thai cuisine is a balance of five flavors: sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and spicy. Most people know of pad Thai, or fried noodles, but there are many other dishes to try. Tom Yam Goong is a spicy shrimp soup made with a broth of lemongrass, chillies, lime leaves and juice, and fish sauce. Tom Kha Kai is a spicy chicken soup with chillies and lemongrass in a coconut milk broth. Som Tam, or spicy green papaya salad, perfectly represents all five flavors. Kao Pad is fried rice with egg, onion, and herbs. Gaeng Keow Wan Kai is chicken in green curry – green curry paste stirred into hot coconut milk. And there is so much more! Most dishes are served with rice, a Thai staple. If you prefer to not have your mouth on fire, ask for “mai phed,” or not spicy.
The waterways in Thailand have long been an integral part of life here. Bangkok was once called the “Venice of the East” because of its klongs, or canals. Many have been filled in, but there are still some that are used for floating markets. A long-tail boat, a lightweight vessel with narrow beams, high-pointed bows and a canopy, is used as a floating market “stand,” but visitors can take rides in these boats as well. Bangkok’s Chao Phraya River – “the River of Kings” – is the dividing line between the east and west of the city. And in the north of Thailand, the mighty Mekong River forms a border between Laos, Myanmar and Thailand, known as the Golden Triangle.
Kanchanaburi:
The bridge that spans the River Kwai, subject of a famous book and 1957 film, is part of the infamous Death Railway in the Kanchanaburi province in western Thailand. The 258-mile railway, built by Allied prisoners of war and native laborers, served to connect Thailand and Myanmar by land so that the Imperial Japanese Army didn’t have to transport their supplies by sea. It is estimated that more than 100,000 POWs and laborers died during construction, hence the Death Railway name. Today, both the bridge and railway are symbols of peace. There are also two museums and a war memorial.

Places to Visit in Thailand
1. Bangkok : A city that never sleeps, Bangkok, the capital of Thailand is a modern-day melting pot of contrasting cultures and faiths. Here, towering skyscrapers stand in harmony next to temples and monasteries. The luxury malls and shopping centres compete with the street bazaars and floating markets. Cuisines - both Thai and from around the world are showcased in all their glory on the streets as well as in rooftop restaurants.
2. Pattaya : Popularly known as Thailand's night capital and party hub, Pattaya is a coastal city in the Gulf of Thailand. The beaches and islands in Pattaya offer a wide variety of watersports, snorkelling options, restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops, making it ideal for families, friends and couples. The nightlife in Pattaya is quite famous for being loud, flashy and handsy.
3. Phuket : Golden beaches, numerous offshore islands, upbeat markets, a high octane nightlife and thrilling watersports characterise Phuket in a nutshell. Those who shy away from dizzy bright lights and alcohol will find themselves at the Cabaret shows or even at the ever-popular street markets. The Phuket Walking Street or Phuket Weekend markets are places where one can spend hours sifting through various clothes, souvenirs and novelty items.
4. Phi Phi Islands: With their pristine waters and vibrant parties, these islands are a wonderful way to spend a few days in Thailand. With four other islands besides the large ones, Phi Phi houses Bida Nok, Bida Nai, Ko Mai Phai, is also known as Bamboo Island. Catering to a large number of expats, young contemporary travellers and families alike, Chiang Mai is a backpacking haven where activities like hiking, cycling, rafting and a plethora of outdoor activities are popular.
7. Ayutthaya : Ayutthaya, short for Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, is a small city in Thailand containing archaeological sites like temples, monasteries, palaces, etc. It lies just 80 kilometres north of Bangkok and hence is an ideal destination for a day trip from Bangkok. It is a beautiful city oozing history and culture and a UNESCO world heritage site. It derives its name from the Sanskrit word for the place Ayodhya of Ramayana, the birthplace of Lord Ram.
8. Khao Sok National Park: Khao Sok National Park, in the Surat Thani province of Thailand, is the largest pristine forest in the area and is a small part of a rainforest that in yesteryears was bigger and denser than the Amazon rainforest. Rich and diverse in flora and fauna, the park is one of the best places to witness rare species such as Rafflesia flower, hornbill birds, gibbons and tigers. Punctuated by limestone cliffs, mountains, splendid sandstone and mudstone rocks, this is the wettest part of Thailand.
Things to Do in Thailand
1. Island Hopping Across Thailand : Thailand has over 300 islands, and most of them are tourist attractions. So if you are going to Thailand, make sure to visit some of the popular islands, finding new beaches and bays in longtail boats. You can also rent a Kayak and tour through the karst formations, coves and the beaches at your own pace, away from the masses of tourist boats and passenger ferries.
2. Get a Thai Massage : A trip to Thailand would be incomplete without getting a Thai massage. Thai massages are unique and famous all over the world for inculcating yogic and natural practices and elements for healing and rejuvenation.
3. Shop in the Floating Markets : The floating markets of Thailand, especially those in and around Bangkok, adorn many magazine covers and posters, regarded as an iconic representation of the country. These markets along canals are mostly jam-packed with slender boats brimming with fresh produce, fruits, souvenirs and even food.
4. Ride a TukTuk : Tuk-Tuk - Thailand's very own automated rickshaw is another popular magazine cover staple. Found throughout the country, they are the cheaper mode of transport as compared to taxis. You can't miss riding on one while getting from one place to another as it makes for great photographs, fun conversations with the driver and it saves money too!!
5. Enjoy a Full Moon Party : Approx 30000 travellers from all over the world travel to the beaches of Koh Phangan to celebrate the full moon with a blast. These parties are full of lights, colours, music, dance and nonstop alcohol. And if you’re tired of dancing, go for a swim in the warm water of the sea or relax in the surrounding bar.
6. Watch a Muay Thai Fight : An integral part of Thai culture, Muay Thai or Thai boxing is a form of martial art which emphasises on the use of punches and kicks. Be sure to watch an exhibition of traditional fighters have a go at each other, showcasing why this traditional art form is one of the deadliest and most refined in the world.
7. Get a Sak Yant Tattoo : Sak Yant Tattoos are traditional tattoos done by monks with heated metal rods. It is believed that the tattoos are blessed and protect their bearers from ill health, injuries and also bring forth spiritual well being and good luck.
8. Watch a Ladyboy Cabaret Show : Thailand's cabaret shows stand out from regular cabaret shows around the world. The performers are ladyboys who are an accepted part of society and Thai culture. From elegant dances, songs and whirling acrobatics, these shows have it all.
9. Explore the Night Markets : Thailand is famous for its night markets. Almost all the cities in Thailand have night markets. These markets are a great place to get a glimpse of local culture, foods, live music, and souvenirs.
10. Interact with Elephants at Sanctuaries : Across the country, there are many sanctuaries and parks where these gentle giants are cared for and open to interaction with visitors. At these ethical sanctuaries and parks, visitors can choose to volunteer to bathe, feed and play with the elephants. Spreading awareness about elephant conversation is the primary cause which the sanctuaries work towards.
Ideal Duration of Thailand Tour
The ideal duration for a Thailand trip depends on the specific destinations you want to explore and the type of experiences you're seeking. Here are suggested durations and plans for different types of trips: Short Trip (7-10 Days): Start in Bangkok with visits to iconic landmarks like the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and explore the vibrant street markets. Enjoy the vibrant nightlife, visit Pattaya Beach, and explore attractions like the Sanctuary of Truth. You can also include a day trip to the Coral Islands for water activities like snorkeling and banana boat rides. Some people also head to Chiang Mai for cultural experiences, including visits to temples, the Old City, and the Night Bazaar. Island relaxation in Phuket or Krabi, enjoying beaches, water activities, and exploring nearby islands is also possible alternatively. Weeklong Trip (10-14 Days): Begin in Bangkok, exploring both historic and modern attractions, and consider a day trip to Ayutthaya. Travel to the northern region, experiencing the cultural richness of Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. Include activities like a visit to the White Temple (Wat Rong Khun). Head to the southern islands like Koh Phi Phi or Koh Samui for beach relaxation, snorkeling, and island-hopping. Return to Bangkok for any last-minute shopping or exploration. Two Weeks or Longer: Begin in Bangkok with an in-depth exploration, including day trips and visits to lesser-known districts. Journey to the north, exploring Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, and consider venturing to Pai or Mae Hong Son for a more off-the-beaten-path experience. Choose multiple islands or beach destinations in the south, combining relaxation with water activities and cultural exploration. Customize your Thailand itinerary based on your interests, whether it's cultural exploration, outdoor adventures, or relaxation on beautiful beaches. Thailand offers a diverse range of experiences for every type of traveler.
Why to Buy Thailand Tour Package?
Buying a Thailand tour package is important for any traveler, especially those looking to explore the diverse and enchanting offerings of this Southeast Asian gem. Considering the challenges mentioned earlier, let's delve into the reasons why purchasing a Thailand tour package is essential: 1. Local Expertise and Cultural Insights: Thailand tour packages often include experienced guides who possess in-depth knowledge about the country's history, culture, and top attractions. They can provide valuable insights during city tours, visits to ancient temples like Wat Pho, and excursions to unique floating markets like Damnoen Saduak. 2. Seamless Travel Arrangements: Thailand tour packages take care of all travel logistics, including transportation, accommodation, and activity bookings. This ensures a hassle-free and well-organized journey, especially for travelers who may not be familiar with local transport options or language barriers. Pre-arranged accommodations offer comfort and convenience, allowing travelers to fully immerse themselves in the wonders of Thailand. 3. Safety and Security: While Thailand is generally safe for travelers, having local support and guidance provided by a tour package can be reassuring, especially for those visiting for the first time. Tour operators prioritize the safety of their guests, providing valuable advice and assistance during their stay. 4. Time Optimization: Thailand offers a plethora of attractions and activities, and planning an itinerary that covers all the highlights can be time-consuming. Tour packages are designed to optimize travelers' time, ensuring they make the most of their visit. For example, a package may include a well-structured tour covering the bustling markets of Bangkok, the ancient ruins of Ayutthaya, and the serene beaches of Krabi in a seamless itinerary. 5. Cultural Immersion: Thailand's culture is rich and diverse, and tour packages often include opportunities for cultural experiences. This can include visits to local villages, traditional dance performances, or participation in authentic cooking classes. By purchasing a Thailand tour package, travelers can benefit from local expertise, seamless travel arrangements, safety and security, time optimization, and cultural immersion. These advantages help travelers overcome the challenges and ensure a rewarding and memorable experience in the "Land of Smiles."
Best Time to Visit
The best time to visit Thailand depends on the specific experiences you're seeking, as the country's climate varies from region to region. However, in general, the best time to visit Thailand is between November and early April. Even though Thailand is a pleasant year-round destination, the best weather is usually during winter's cool and dry months. Temperatures range from 18°C-36°C, making it comfortable for beach hopping. It's an ideal time for outdoor activities, exploring cities, and enjoying the beaches. Many festivals and events, including Loy Krathong and Songkran, are celebrated during this period. Bangkok and Central Thailand: November to February Northern Thailand (Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai): November to February Southern Thailand (Phuket, Krabi, and Andaman Coast): November to April (East Coast) and November to May (West Coast) Gulf of Thailand (Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Koh Tao): December to August Isan Region (Northeastern Thailand): November to February Eastern Thailand (Pattaya, Rayong): November to February Andaman Sea Diving (Similan Islands, Phuket, Krabi): November to April

Thailand Vacation & Travel Packages
Our Thailand Tours and Vacations
What is it about Thailand that makes it a major tourist destination? It could be the world-famous mouth-watering cuisine , the exotic culture with its magnificent temples and palaces, the spectacular scenery which includes the multitude of pristine white sand beaches and turquoise seas, majestic mountains, fast flowing rivers wending their way through jungles or its long history and interesting archaeological sites all to be found on Thailand tours.
Perhaps it’s the friendly welcome from the Thai people. Thailand is often called the land of smiles and rightly so. The people will make an impression on you with their gentleness and polite, respectful approach. Perhaps this involves the major religion here, Buddhism which is all pervasive. Avery's revered person is the King of Thailand and that is why the country is called the Kingdom of Thailand with its constitutional monarchy.
Thailand Travel Highlights
It might be helpful to consider Thailand as having 3 different specific geographical areas of interest.
The city of Bangkok
The first would naturally be the city of Bangkok which is a must-inclusion on your Thailand vacation. With its teeming life and natural abundance of energy where temples sit side by side with canals and markets. It is one of Asia's most cosmopolitan cities with magnificent temples and palaces, authentic canals, busy markets and a vibrant nightlife that has something for everyone on Thailand tours.
Some of the more important venues and activities on trips to Thailand include the following. The Grand Palace complex, the official residence of the Kings of Siam since 1782, situated right on the Chao Phraya River is a must-see as is a cruise on the river itself. Perhaps take one of the ferries sailing up and down the river from which you can get on and off at leisure at any of the sites along the way. . On the riverbanks, you can also visit the Wat Pho Temple with its Reclining Buddha, the Wat Phra Kaeo Temple with its Emerald Buddha and the Wat Arun Temple also known as the Temple of Dawn.
Close to Bangkok are two very interesting side trips, both of which are included in most trips to Thailand. The first is the Kanchanaburi region famous as the place where the “ Bridge over the River Kwai ” was located. Here you can visit the bridge, and the cemetery and stay overnight in a floating hotel. The other is to travel to Damnoen Saduak to experience a traditional floating market and also visit the Rose Garden for a show including Thai traditional dancing, Thai boxing and musical entertainment. Although there are many beach resorts throughout Thailand, mainly in the south of the country, there are a few which are not too far from Bangkok such as Pattaya , Hua Hin , Ko Samet and Ko Chang.

Northern Thailand
The second area of interest would be a visit to Northern Thailand perhaps travelling overland via such ancient cities as Sukhothai, a world heritage site and the first capital of Thailand dating back to the 13 th Century with its restored temples and monuments and nearby Ayuthaya, another world heritage site and previous capital with extensive archaeological discoveries.
On a Thai vacation, Chiang Mai is the principal city in the north where the ambience is much more serene than that of Bangkok. It is surrounded by mountains and lush countryside and is known as the "Rose of the North". Inside Chiang Mai's remaining city walls are more than 30 temples dating back to the founding of the principality. The famous Night Bazaar is a must-visit, especially during the amazing Loy Krathong Festival in November. The locals say you have not experienced Chiang Mai until you have seen the view from Doi Suthep, eaten a bowl of kao soi, and purchased an umbrella from Bo Sang. Definitely make time for a visit to Doi Suthep, a temple located on top of a mountain with wonderful panoramic views or to a local elephant camp to see the animals at work and play. Northern Thailand is also the region to visit with genuine hill tribes to experience how they live their separate existence from the rest of society. They originally migrated from neighbouring China , Tibet and Myanmar to the rural highlands of Northern Thailand to continue their traditional way of life as farmers in the mountains.

Further north is Chiang Rai. It is an excellent base for exploring the region on a Thailand vacation. Despite its relatively small population, Chiang Rai has respected universities and other civic facilities. It includes a good percentage of hill tribes and Myanmar exiles such as various varieties of the Karen tribe of people.

The Golden Triangle
The Golden Triangle in the far north of Thailand is so-called as it is where Laos , Myanmar and Thailand meet. The landscape is hilly and consists of lush jungle scenery through which the mighty Mekong River flows.
The best beach resorts in Thailand
On trips to Thailand, the third region is Thailand’s beach resort in the south. With hundreds of beautiful tropical islands, Thailand has no shortage of fine beach resorts. These include Phuket on the west coast along with the quieter Phi Phi Islands reached by ferry from Phuket., Ko Samui and Krabi on the east coast plus many others with their pure white sand and blue, green sea can provide a stay and a fitting end to a sojourn in this exciting country. Most of the luxury beach resorts can be found on the islands of Koh Samui and Phuket.

Top things to do on a Thailand Trip
Bangkok river cruise.
The Chao Phraya River plays a vital role in the history, economy, and cultural fabric of Bangkok. Whether you’re indulging in a romantic night-time dinner cruise or just taking the ferry for a closer look at beautiful Wat Arun, you’ll want to see Bangkok from the water at least once. A night-time cruise is highly recommended when the Royal Palace comes aglow with golden light.
Golf in Thailand
If one of your favourite pastimes is golf, Thailand has a number of excellent courses. One of the best-known is the Blue Canyon Golf Course in Phuket. Bangkok, Pattaya and Chiang Mai also have good courses. Most of the scuba diving destinations are on the Andaman Sea on the South East coast of Thailand. The most famous ones are on the outstanding Similan Islands with truly excellent diving on a Thai vacation. Closer to the mainland you have very good diving opportunities around Koh Lanta, Koh Phi Phi and Phuket Islands.
Phuket Boat Tours
Phuket is among the most popular of Thailand’s islands, and one of the largest. If you want to see more of this Thai treasure, it makes sense to explore some of the surrounding islands and shores by boat. Take a full-day tour of Phi Phi Island or put your dexterity to the text sea canoeing around Phang Nga Bay.
Temple Tours
All that temple hopping gets a bit tiring if you don’t have the benefit of the full story. A temple tour gives you an in-depth look at Thailand’s many temples along with an understanding of why each one is significant or unique. You’ll learn a little more about temple etiquette and come away with a greater understanding of religious mores in this deeply spiritual country.
A unique experience in Thailand
Worth a visit on a Thailand vacation is the Jim Thompson House, the CIA-operative's mansion assembled by combining six traditional Thai-style houses and the Vimanmek Mansion, the largest golden teakwood house in the world. The street markets and night bazaars are second to none and offer a wide array of merchandise at excellent prices.
Thailand Honeymoon
With three distinct regions, each nothing like the next, Thailand can be the ideal destination for just about any kind of honeymoon. Enjoy an urban adventure packed with shopping, street food, and iconic sights in Bangkok, or immerse yourselves in northern Thai culture in enchanting Chiang Mai. If you’d prefer a sand and sun honeymoon getaway, the islands of the south have this covered.

Ans. You can book your Thailand tour package at a reasonable price, depending on your needs and preferences. There are multiple options available online for travellers. For example, a 5 nights and 6 days package will cost you approximately ₹ 47,644 per person, covering Phuket and Krabi. Similarly, a 4 nights and 5 days package for Bangkok and Pattaya will cost you around ₹ 38,198 per person. Thailand has options for every budget.
Ques. How much should I budget for a 3-day trip to Thailand?
Ans. You will easily find a suitable 3-day Thailand tour package that covers your preferred cities/destinations. While budget estimates vary depending on the location, choice of accommodation and other activities, you can go by estimated costs. A three-day Thailand trip will require approximately ₹ 45,000-50,000 per person, including accommodation at a good four-star hotel, transfers, sightseeing costs and food.
Ques. Is Thailand a visa-free destination for Indians?
Ans. While booking your Thailand tour package, you should note the visa requirements with care. Indian citizens will need visas to enter the country. However, if you are visiting only as a tourist, then you can get a visa on arrival, provided your stay does not exceed two weeks. Foreigners should always carry their passports in the country along with a photocopy.
Ques. How to plan a budget Thailand trip?
Ans. It is possible to book a Thailand tour package at an attractive price, provided you compare available options online and go for the best deals on flights and accommodation. Once that is done, there are a few other tips that will help you enjoy the multifarious delights of the country on a budget: Avoid taking taxis from the airport. You can save money with the Airport Rail Link trains that connect to the MRT and Skytrain networks. There are shuttle buses (free) which link to affordable city buses alongside. Do not take domestic flights to access various destinations in Thailand. Instead, choose public buses or train rides. You can take overnight buses or trains to reach several destinations too. BKS (Baw Khaw Saw) buses are readily available and more affordable for tourists. Skip the Tuk-Tuks and take local taxis or pickup trucks instead to save more money on shorter jaunts. Remember that ride sharing may be costlier than what you are used to. You can affordably rent motorcycles/scooters for higher savings too. Eat delicious local food at the night markets and street-side stalls. This will help you save on trip costs like no other! You will find various bustling markets and food stalls throughout the day and evenings across the country. Feast on the choicest Thai meals and snacks at unbelievably low prices. Many smaller monasteries are free to visit, while hot springs in Chiang Mai are more affordable than spa treatments. Thai massages are also available at affordable rates across Thai monasteries, vocational training institutions and more.
Ques. What is the best time to visit Thailand?
Ans. Make sure you book your Thailand tour package anytime between the months of November and April. This is the peak tourist season in the country, with lower humidity and comforting sunshine. The evenings are breezy and pleasant for travellers during this period. The off-season is the period between April and May and July to September. The former is when there is scorching heat to contend with, while the latter stretch witnesses heavy rainfall.
Ques. What is the cost of a Thailand visa from India?
Ans. Arranging the visa is an integral part of your Thailand tour package. Here are some of the approximate charges that you can expect, depending on the visa type and category: e-Visa- ₹ 7,499 (validity up to one month, with a stay-period of 15 days and processing time of 2-3 days) e-Visa Express- ₹ 11,999 (this has a faster processing time of 24 hours, with the same features as the regular e-Visa) Thailand Tourist Visa (Sticker Visa)- ₹ 11,999 (validity up to 3 months with a stay period up to 60 days and processing time of 3-4 days) Thailand Business Visa (Sticker Visa)- ₹ 11,999 (validity up to 3 months with a stay period up to 90 days and processing time of 3-4 days)

You can exchange your money into THB across currency exchange centres and banks in Thailand, along with the airport.
Ques. Can I use Indian debit cards in Thailand?
Ans. If you are planning to book a Thailand tour package soon, then you should know about the ways of making payments in the country. Thailand 11 Day/10 Night Group Tour | ULTIMATE
We had an amazing time on this trip- a group of 5 of us went. The only thing I would say that goes against this tour is the lack of clarity. While the communication between us and the tour radar company was great, the communication between our tour guide and the company wasn’t what it should have been. After the 11 day tour was finished, we had preciously organised transfer back to Bangkok from Koh Phangan but our guide was not informed about any of this which caused a bit of worry amongst the group as it is a long way back from koh Phangan to Bangkok, thankfully we were able to sort it out with Tour Radar and our guide Aekapong was extremely helpful. The different accommodations and activities set up by the tour were great we enjoyed every minute and there was plenty of free time within the tour as well to enjoy time with friends.

Total Thailand
I absolutely loved this tour! Tommy and fluke were incredible. They were so organised and we were never waiting at any location. Anywhere I would arrive everything would be ready to go. They also made me feel incredibly safe the entire time. They would tell us what places were good to eat and what areas were best to stay away from. They were also fantastic at communication. I consisted was told what was happening today, tomorrow and in the upcoming days so I always knew what was happening. They were consistently attentive and checked up on me to make sure all was ok. They were an absolute pleasure to be around and there is no one I would rather have take me around the amazing country of Thailand. I cannot recommend tommy and fluke more. You will not regret booking this trip.
Ultimate Thailand in 10 Days - Ayutthaya / Khao Sok / Phuket
The tour started off in Ayutthaya, where we were able to explore the historical temples and ruins, including Wat Mahathat and Wat Ratchaburana. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and provided a lot of background information about the history of the city. Next, we headed to Khao Sok, where we went on a safari tour and saw a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, monkeys, and birds. We also went on a boat ride on the Cheow Lan Lake, where we were able to see limestone cliffs and beautiful scenery. Finally, we ended the tour in Phuket, where we had the opportunity to relax on the beach, go snorkeling, and enjoy the nightlife. The tour included a visit to the famous James Bond Island, which was a highlight of the trip. Overall, I highly recommend this tour. The itinerary was well-planned and included a great balance of historical and natural attractions. The tour guides and local partners were friendly and accommodating. The accommodation was comfortable and the food was delicious. I had a great time and would definitely take the tour again.
- Island Hopping
Thailand Island Hopper 16 Day Group Tour | ULTIMATE
The tour was really amazing. We saw the many faces of Thailand and interacted with more locals than I could have imagined. The food, the group and the stops were all part of the overall great experience. Due to the Corona Virus it was a little difficult to find places to party, but we still got a few really nice party nights in. Obviously we have to thank our boss Yui for being an amazing leader and a trustworthy friend. So if you wanna see Thailand, go for it, cause this right here is a great choice

Thai Experience - 9 Days
8 Day All Inclusive 'Full Body Reset' Detox, Yoga & Wellness Holiday
Marvelous Northern Thailand In 8 Days - Kanchanaburi/ Chiang Rai / Chiang Mai
Very smoothly run with comfortable vehicle door to door for every point of interest. Learnt alot about Thai history. Good lunches included. You visit places tourists typically don't get to go to. Hotels were all fine.

Mikey – was an incredibly fun and energetic guide I have never met someone who so easily smiles people. I had an incredible time on this trip, and I have Mickey too. Thank for a lot of that! He was always made sure that everyone in the group was ok and having fun. I can’t thank enough Mickey for bringing so much energy and joy for the trip. Boom – was such an incredible guide! He was always making sure everyone was having fun and safe. He stayed with us the whole night during the fullmoon party and made sure everyone was okay and enjoying themselves. Thank you so much Boom, you have been amazing!

What people love about budget tours in thailand.
Jay Jay and Morgan were great tour guides! My husband and I requested private accommodations the first day of the tour (for a separate upgraded cost, of course) and they made those arrangements for us seamlessly. They also had numerous recommendations for food and activities on the days we had free time, which was very helpful. We loved this tour and enjoyed our time immensely!
This was my first trip with Tru Travels and first ever group tour in general and I had the best time! Can’t thank Mickey enough for making sure we were all happy, going above and beyond to provide all the information we needed and making sure we had the time of our lives even through the lows. You can tell he really loves his job and is somehow always happy! I loved the combination of doing the north and south of Thailand, there was always a good balance of having lots of activities to do and things to see as well being able to wind down and relax. I’ll never forget my time in Thailand and all the amazing people I got to meet! Would 100% book another tour with Tru Travels.
Still thinking about my trip to Thailand with them. I am not afraid of traveling solo anymore because the staff made me feel secured and taken care the whole time. Even you're considering a trip solo, definitely pick Prestigo Asia.
