The first stop is at [INAUDIBLE] Wine Farm, which was among the first Huguenot farms proclaimed in 1694. Here, you will enjoy an olive oil, olive, and seasonal fruit preserve tasting. This is a working farm producing quality wines, fruit, and olive oils from their approximately 2,500 olive trees. Next, head to the renowned Haute Cabriere Vineyard Estate, located in a picturesque setting in Franschhoek and steeped in rich history. The estate was started over 300 years ago by the Huguenot settlers from France, and primarily grows chardonnay and pinot noir varieties. Take some time to taste their wines while enjoying the breathtakingly extraordinary views from the tasting room. You'll have some free time to explore the quaint little town of Franschhoek before returning to Cape Town in the late afternoon. Francesc is known as the gourmet capital of South Africa. Francesc offers a variety of boutiques, specialty retail shops, art galleries, and a market. In Cape Town, you will enjoy a half day Cape Malay cooking experience with Cass Abrahams, the foremost authority on the cuisine in the Cape and a local celebrity. Enjoy a hands-on class with a spice queen in her home in the southern suburbs. Cass made it her mission to rescue the local Cape cuisine recipes from disappearing. You will cook three to four dishes and then relax over lunch. At the luxurious Lion Sands Ivory Lodge, each suite is operated as a private villa and includes a private infinity pool, a large, exquisitely appointed bedroom, and separate living area, and simply more of everything. You can take part in an open vehicle game drive from your first day. It's sure to be a thrilling experience! This area is known as one of the finest safari areas in Africa, featuring a high density of wildlife per square mile. I did not see any groupon either. If you have a large group you can contact them for a discount. They answer emails fast. The prices are the same online as at the gate. Payment is in Canadian Dollars. If you are from the US I suggest you contact your Credit Card company to make sure they do not charge you an international use fee.

Hi my name is Paul I'm just wondering if I decided to get tickets to the safari what is the prices to get in

I just got my tickets from costco and they offer 5 dollars off each of the adult and children's admissions. You just pay for them at the cash and then they give you the tickets at customer service.

PS sorry for the delay... I was swimming in Lake Superior! LOL!

African Lion Safari: Ontario’s Wildest Safari Adventure

Great news for fans of African Lion Safari – they are open for the 2023 season and have lots of WILD fun in store for you and your family! We have the inside scoop on what you can expect when you visit this summer, updates on the new African Lion Safari ticket prices plus some tips and important info for visitors.

2023 Season highlights

African Lion Safari is Canada’s Original Safari Adventure. They maintain a collection of over 1,000 exotic birds and animals comprised of over 100 different species. What animal is your favourite? Will you giggle at the silly monkeys and lemurs or be entranced watching the long-legged giraffes stroll their habitat?

Drive Through Game Reserve – One of my earliest memories of African Lion Safari was when we saw cars driving through the game reserves getting oh-so-close to the animals roaming around. It was like nothing I had ever seen before! The drive-through is 9 km long and it takes you up close through 7 large Game Reserves featuring Nairobi Sanctuary, Simba Lion Country, Timbavati Lion Country, Wankie Bushland Trail, Rocky Ridge Veldt, Australasia and The Americas. You stay in your vehicle, driving at a very slow pace, and you get to witness animals roam their territory.

Take The “Nature Boy “Train – Hop on the train for a 15-minute ride through 16 hectares of animals and birds. A trip is included in your admission.

Climb Aboard The “African Queen” – Take a boat ride to enjoy a pleasant tour around Water Safari Lake. The informative captain will take you on a cruise around the islands and point out exotic primates including the White-handed gibbon, Ring-tailed lemur, Black-handed Spider monkeys and Robust Black Spider monkeys. Bird dwellers include the Marabou stork and the Pink-backed pelican. The tour is about 15 minutes and is included in your admission.

African Lion Safari’s Waterpark Splash Pad

The splash pad, Misumu Bay Wetplay, is more than just a splash pad at African Lion Safari! As a matter of fact, this may be the highlight of your visit! I have multiple friends who buy season passes strictly for this amazing waterpark. The waterpark is included in your admission and while you’re there cool down under the dumping bucket or slip down the water slides. Enjoy sprinklers and water shooters and fountains, too!

How much is it to go to the Safari? This year, you can purchase your tickets in advance online or at the gate. Limited tickets will be available to buy at the gate, and they recommend pre-purchasing online to secure your spot. What’s more, you save a few dollars when you buy online. If you pick up the latest flyer from Pizza Pizza Canada , you’ll find this coupon that gives you $4 off the price of admission for up to 6 people . That means that you could save up to $24 off your family trip to African Lion Safari! Admission for an adult between 13 and 59 normally goes for $33.95, but with this coupon, the price will be $29.95 per adult . Children between 3 and 12 can enter for $21.95   instead of the regular $25.95. This coupon is valid until September 20, 2015 .

If you’re a Costco Canada member, then you can get a slightly better deal on admission to African Lion Safari for adults. Costco ticket prices for adults are $29.79 instead of the regular $33.95. Kids admission will be $21.99 instead of the regular $25.95.

I would not say this is a “fun” outing for children by any means. They mistreat the animals in their cage and money is always the bottom line.

A great place if you support animal abuse. Notice the bullhook the elephant trainer is holding? The animals are imprisoned there and spend up to 7 months of the year in sheds during off season. Animals are capture from the wild. Poor choice for kids to learn about animals… Unless u want to teach them about abuse.

That’s right everyone!!! Stop the madness, let’s round up all the animals and get them out of Canada. I’m Bob Barker form Price is Right, I stole Toronto’s elephants and next target is African Lion Safari. Your kids will NEVER see a wild animal ever again MUHAHAHAHAH.
