Breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards, walking tour in old district of the city. Founded by Vakhtang Gorgasali, the Georgian King of Kartli (Iberia) and made into a capital in the 6th century, Tbilisi is a significant industrial, social, and cultural center. Tour includes following sightseeings: Metekhi Church, erected on the cliff, overlooking the Mtkvari River; the famous Sulfur Baths, also located in Old Tbilisi, on the other side of the river. In the same district, we lift up by cableway on Narikala Fortress. Called the mother fortress of Tbilisi, Narikala is an ancient symbol of city’s defence. Lunch at the local restaurant. Visit Meidani square and walk on Shardeni street with its fashionable, cozy cafes and art galleries, passing along the Sioni Cathedral and Anchiskhati Basilica. The tour takes you to Rustaveli Avenue, where attractions such as the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet theatre, Rustaveli Theatre, different art galleries and cafes will draw your attention and provide a cosmopolitan atmosphere. Breakfast at the hotel. Today we drive to Kazbegi, mountain region of the country. On the way, we pass Ananuri Castle and Jinvali water reservoir of amazing beauty. Stop and see different local hand made things (thick felt, embroidery, iconographic painting). A stunning drive from Gudauri along the Tergi River will bring us to Stepantsminda – the main town in the region. Lunch at the local restaurant. Visit Kazbegi surroundings. From center, we drive through beautiful valleys and woodlands to visit Gergeti Trinity Church located at 2170m. You may observe one of the highest glaciers in the Caucasus – Mt Kazbegi (5047m). Then drive back to Tbilisi. Gala dinner at Georgian restaurant with folk - show. Overnight in Tbilisi.

General Information About Georgia

Georgia, a country at the intersection of Europe and Asia, is a former Soviet republic that’s home to Caucasus Mountain villages and Black Sea beaches. It’s famous for Vardzia, a sprawling cave monastery dating to the 12th century, and the ancient wine-growing region Kakheti. The capital, Tbilisi, is known for the diverse architecture and mazelike, cobblestone streets of its old town.

The nation of Georgia was first unified as a kingdom under the Bagrationi dynasty by the King Bagrat III of Georgia in the 9th to 10th century, arising from a number of predecessor states of ancient kingdoms of Colchis and Iberia. The kingdom of Georgia flourished and reached its golden age during the 10th to 12th centuries under King David IV the Builder and Queen Tamar the Great, and fell to the Mongol invasion by 1243, and after a brief reunion under George V the Brilliant to the Timurid Empire. By 1490, Georgia was fragmented into a number of petty kingdoms and principalities, which throughout the Early Modern period struggled to maintain their autonomy against Ottoman and Persian domination until Georgia was finally annexed by the Russian Empire in 1801, which got nominally confirmed in 1813. After a brief bid for independence with the Democratic Republic of Georgia of 1918–1921, Georgia was part of the Transcaucasian Socialist Federative Soviet Republic from 1922 to 1936, and then formed the Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic until the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The current republic of Georgia has been independent since 1991.

The first president Zviad Gamsakhurdia stoked Georgian nationalism and vowed to assert Tbilisi's authority over Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Gamsakhurdia was deposed in a bloody coup d'état within the same year and the country became embroiled in a bitter civil war, which lasted until 1995. Supported by Russia, Abkhazia and South Ossetia achieved de facto independence from Georgia but did not gain widespread international recognition. The Rose Revolution forced Eduard Shevardnadze to resign in 2003. The new government under Mikheil Saakashvili prevented the secession of a third breakaway republic in the Adjara crisis of 2004, but the conflict with Abkhazia and South Ossetia led to the 2008 Russo–Georgian War and tensions with Russia remain unresolved..

Savannah is a beautiful historical town. Houses from 1840s are preserved perfectly and residents here really enjoy the historical preservation mode of the town. Moreover, the food here is fantastic. When you go to Okefenokee, it is highly recommended to rent a canoe or go to a canoe trip. You will find yourself in the middle of a swampland and be impressed by all the staff you had never seen. St. Simon’s Island St. Simon’s Island is an island near the border of Florida. It is a great place to lie down and chill out on the sandy beach. Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for a half day city tour of Tbilisi. After the tour, visit the shopping Centre. Free time for shopping. Overnight stay at Tbilisi.

Day 03: Tbilisi - Kakheti - Sighnaghi - Bodbe - Tbilisi

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to eastern part of Georgia Kakheti region, known almost exclusively for its vineyards and wineries. Visit Signagi, ancient city. After the tour, drive back to Tbilisi. Overnight stay at Tbilisi.

Day 04: Tbilisi – “Armenian Switzerland” Dilijan - Sevan lake - Yerevan

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and drive to Armenian – Georgian border. After passing the border, drive to the mountainous resort of Dilijan also known as “Armenian Switzerland” , have a walking tour of Dilijan. Later drive to Lake Sevan, one of the wonders in Armenia. After visiting all the above places, drive to Yerevan and check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at Yerevan.

Day 05: Yerevan

Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for a city tour of Yerevan. Start with a panoramic view of the city and acquaintance with the Center of the city, Republic Square. Visit the Opera and Ballet building, The Parliament and residency of the President of Armenia, State University, Mother Armenia Monument and the Sports and Concert Complex. Later proceed to Tsitsernakaberd - a Monument to the Armenian Genocide Victims. Later visit Matenadaran - one of the world’s largest depositories of ancient manuscripts. After visiting all the above places. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at Yerevan.

Day 06: Yerevan - Carpet Factory - Garni – Geghard – Yerevan

Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to visit the Armenian carpet factory and watch the production of the handmade rugs (subject to availability). After the factory visit, proceed to the only remaining Pagan temple in Armenia, devoted to the God of Sun – Myrth, in Garni. Take a photo stop at Charentc Arc. Later take a visit to the ruins of the Royal Palace and Royal bath house. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 07: Departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and transfer to Yerevan airport to board your flight back to India.

Cancellation Policy & Payment Terms

If the Guest decides to cancel the tour for any reason whatsoever then s/he shall give a written application to the Company within specified time limit along with original receipt issued by the Company. Such cancellation will attract cancellation charges stated hereunder.
Cancellation charges will be calculated on gross tour cost and the cancellation charges shall depend on date of departure and date of cancellation
Cancellation charges for any type of transport ticket are applicable as per the rules of the concerned authority.
Air tickets issued on special fares are NON REFUNDABLE and Guest shall bear cancellation charges.
Any refund payable to the Guest will be paid after the Company receives refund from the respective authorities. The Company deducts processing charges from the refund to be paid to the Guest.

Payment Terms

Airlines/Room up-gradation and complimentary will not be entertained during the tour unless if specified at the time of booking.
There is no refund for any services not utilized during the tour.
Security deposit is required either in cash or credit card by hotels which is refundable provided no room incidentals are incurred. This security deposit is not included in this quote and must be paid by the guests/corporate directly to the hotel when checking in.
Guests are advised not to keep valuables in the coach/vehicle while sightseeing. The Company shall not be responsible for loss of valuables from the coach / vehicle . If the coach / vehicle is accidentally or otherwise damaged by the Guest, s/he will be required to pay compensation for the same.

Exploring Tbilisi and Mtskheta

Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel, and then embark on a captivating Tbilisi City Tour.
Your journey starts at the world's largest Orthodox Holy Trinity Cathedral before proceeding to the Metekhi Church and the monument honoring Vakhtang Gorgasali, the legendary founder of Tbilisi.

This picturesque town, perched on a steep hill, offers breathtaking vistas of the expansive Alazani Valley, with the majestic Caucasus Mountains gracing the distant horizon. Sighnaghi derives its name from the Turkish language, signifying "shelter" or "trench." The town's origins trace back to the early 18th century, and in 1762, King Heraclius II of Georgia erected a fortress here to protect the region from incursions by Dagestan tribes. Notably, Sighnaghi is renowned as the "City of Love" due to its unique feature of facilitating weddings 24/7.
During your visit, you'll explore the Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino, a significant Georgian Orthodox monastic complex that serves as the seat of the Bishops of Bodbe. The monastery has a deep connection to St. Nino, the 4th-century female evangelist of Georgians. The existing church, a three-nave basilica, was originally constructed between the 9th and 11th centuries and underwent restoration both externally and internally during the 17th and 19th centuries.
On your return journey to Tbilisi, you'll have the opportunity to visit one of the renowned wineries for a wine tasting experience.

Discover Ananuri, Gudauri and Kazbegi

Start your day with a satisfying breakfast at the Hotel.
At 09:00, you'll be picked up from your accommodation for an excursion that will take you to the remarkable Ananuri Fortress, nestled on a foreland along the Aragvi River, not far from the Zhinvali water reservoir, approximately 70 km from Tbilisi, Georgia. This fortress, with its earliest parts dating back to the 13th century, is a UNESCO Tentative list site. Comprising two fortifications connected by a crenellated curtain wall, the upper fortification boasts a well-preserved large square tower known as Sheupovari, while the lower fortification, featuring a round tower, is mostly in ruins.
Following your visit to Ananuri, you'll journey to the Gudauri Ski Resort, a picturesque tourist settlement and ski mountain resort situated at an elevation of 3,000 meters on the southern slopes of the Lesser Caucasus range in Georgia. Gudauri, located 120 km from Tbilisi, is reachable via the Georgian Military Road, taking approximately 2 hours by car. The region has attracted many renowned writers and poets, including Alexander Griboedov, Alexander Pushkin, and Mikhail Lermontov.
Your day's exploration continues with a visit to the Gudauri Panorama and the Georgia-Russia Friendship Monument. This monument, constructed in 1983, commemorates the 200th anniversary of the Treaty of Georgievsk in 1783, which established Georgia as a protectorate of the Russian Empire. Notably, the monument's popularity among tourists is due to its picturesque location, offering excellent opportunities for taking captivating photographs that will undoubtedly spark the curiosity of your friends.
Proceeding with your sightseeing, you'll embark on a journey to Gergeti Trinity Church, accessed by a robust 4X4 vehicle. Located in the Kazbegi municipality, just 1 km from the village of Gergeti, this church sits at an altitude of 2,200 meters above sea level. It is one of the most sought-after tourist destinations in Georgia, known for its historical significance and breathtaking location.
After a day filled with exploration and awe-inspiring sights, you'll return to your hotel in Tbilisi, where you can enjoy a peaceful overnight stay.

Please note that these packages are customizable, which means that you will be able to make changes to the itinerary/activity if you so desire. The final payment will be calculated as per the itinerary and inclusions reflected on the confirmatory e-mail sent to you.
Please expect to receive your vouchers 72 hours before your departure date (subject to full payment of your package cost).
Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, room service, alcoholic beverages, mini bars etc., are not included.
In case your package needs to be canceled due to any natural calamity, weather conditions etc. Dook Travels shall strive to give you the maximum possible refund subject to the agreement made with our trade partners/vendors.
The passenger names in the booking form should be exactly as per passports. Dook Travels will not bear any liability for the name change fee, if incorrect names and ages have been added at the time of booking.
Please note that your package includes baggage as per airlines policy. Any addition in baggage will be charged separately.
Standard check-in time at the hotel is normally 2:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 am. An early check-in, or a late check-out is solely based on the discretion of the hotel.
In case the selected hotel is unavailable for booking, an alternate arrangement will be offered to the customer in another hotel of a similar category.
Certain hotels may ask for a security deposit during check-in, which is refundable at check-out subject to the hotel policy.This amount has to be deposited by the traveler.
Please note that Day at Leisure essentially implies that no sightseeing activities have been included for that day.
Kindly be on time for your activities, tours and transfers. Dook Travels will not be liable for missing any activity thus for any refund against it in such cases.
No refund either in part or in full will be made for any unused part of the services provided in the package.
The package price doesn’t include special dinner or mandatory charges at times levied by the hotels especially during New Year and Christmas or any special occasions. Dook Travels shall try to communicate the same while booking the package. However Dook Travels may not have this information readily available all the time.
Our package price does not include GST and TCS. Applicable GST and TCS will be charged over and above the package price.

For any paid activity which is non-operational due to any unforeseen reason, we will process the refund & should reach the guest within 30 days refund requisition. Also, for any activity which is complementary and not charged to Dook Travels & guests, no refund will be processed.
Our package prices are on twin sharing accommodation basis thus published prices are applicable for minimum two persons and multiple of two thereon.
As per RBI guideline every foreign traveler has to provide us his PAN details. The Dollar component of package price will be taken out of your BTQ (Basic Travel Quota).
The tour cost does not include any Overseas Insurance Premium, but we strongly recommend buying Overseas Insurance Policy. The same after issuance is non refundable.
These terms are general terms for our tour packages.Any term mentioned in proposal shall be considered part of it and in case of discrepancy term mentioned in proposal shall prevail.
Disputes, if any, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.

45 – 30 days prior to departure: 50% of land cost + INR 5000 (Per PAX) + actual Ticket cancellation+Visa fee if visa is applied.
30 – 10 days prior to departure: 75% of land cost + INR 5000 (Per PAX) + actual Ticket cancellation+Visa fee if visa is applied.
