2022 INBA/PNBA Competition Schedule Released

Thirty-two bodybuilding contests will offer entries the the 2022 natural olympia in november 2022..

The International Natural Bodybuilding Association/Professional Natural Bodybuilding Association’s (INBA/PNBA) 2022 contest schedule has been released. A total of 32 drug-tested contests will offer entries to the 2022 Natural Olympia slated for Nov. 10-13, 2022, in Las Vegas, NV. The full schedule is listed below:

INBA/PNBA contests require participating athletes to undergo testing by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) for banned substances . A list of prohibited substances, including “ephedrine and its derivatives, DHEA and Andro and all of its derivatives,” can be found on WADA’s website . Athletes who fail INBA/PNBA drug tests are pictured on the association’s “ Hall of Shame ” with their corresponding doping offense.

Per INBA/PNBA, the 2021 Natural Olympia saw 15 countries represented via 379 athletes. The prize pool included over $65,000 and a Harley Davidson. Phil Krueger of the USA won the 2021 Men’s Open Natural Mr. Olympia title. The prize pool for the 2022 Natural Olympia contest has not yet been made available.

2022 INBA PNBA Pro/Am Natural Universe: Preview

The 2022 INBA PNBA Pro/Am Natural Universe show embarks this weekend! 

The 2022 International Natural Bodybuilding Association (INBA)/Professional Natural Bodybuilding Association (PNBA) Pro/Am Natural Universe show takes place this weekend, September 2-3, 2022, in Tampa, FL. 

2022 INBA PNBA Pro/AM Natural Universe is a significant event in natural bodybuilding. Competitors are battling it out for a chance to qualify for Natural Olympia if they haven’t already. And for the ones who have, they want to earn a good placing, heading into the final three months of the INBA PNBA natural bodybuilding season. 

Natural Universe 

This week is “peak week”– the week before a bodybuilding show where competitors put it into high gear to make any final preparations for the show–for Natural Universe competitors. 

Denny Kakos started the first Natural Universe in 1990. The Natural Universe title is trademarked, and It’s one of the most prestigious natural bodybuilding titles the INBA PNBA offers. That has seen the faces of many great champions. 

Past Champions 

This year, there are over 30 pro athletes competing from different countries. Prize money, other prizes, PNBA Elite World Tour Points, and social media exposure will be offered. This is the first time a natural bodybuilding show of this prestige will be held in Tampa, Florida.

2022 INBA PNBA Pro/Am Team USA and Las Vegas Naturals Inside Look | Posing Routines & Awards

An inside look at the 2022 INBA PNBA Pro/Am Team USA and Las Vegas Naturals competition. 

The 2022 INBA PNBA Pro/Am Team USA and Las Vegas Naturals took place on September 23-24, 2022, in Las Vegas, NV. It was one of the bigger events in the International Natural Bodybuilding Association (INBA)/Professional Natural Bodybuilding Association (PNBA). And part of the “Road to the Natural Olympia” series of competitions. Teams USA allowed competitors to qualify for the most significant natural bodybuilding event of the year, Natural Olympia. 

Generation Iron had a film crew on the grounds and got clips of athletes preparing behind the scenes and a stage recap of the event. 

Team USA Standout Competitors 

Natural Olympia elite competitors competed at this show. One of those natural athletes is Tamer Barakat , the 2021 Natural Olympia Classic Physique champ, who prepared well for this show. He made a massive shift to his training plan that allowed him to hold onto more muscle. Barakat cut back on cardio and extended his contest prep. 

Team USA was Barakat’s first show of the year. For peak week (the week before the show), Barakat said he relied more on a caloric deficit and adjusting his macronutrients than doing intense cardio as he’s done in the past. Barakat said this enabled him to preserve more muscle mass for the show.

The reigning Natural Olympia Classic Physique champ Derek Joe competed at this event. Since the Classic Physique division heavily relies on posing for scoring, Joe focused on practicing posing for Team USA.

Natural Olympia 

Natural Olympia is the most famous natural bodybuilding show globally every year. This year it takes place in Las Vegas, NV, from November 10-13, 2022. The most prominent natural bodybuilding league, the INBA PNBA, hosts this event. 

Natural Olympia gives out the most considerable cash and prizes. And competitors are thoroughly drug tested under the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) guidelines. 

This year, Natural Olympia will see 6x Natural Olympia champ Kiyoshi Moody returning after eight years of retirement. The 2020 champ, Meshack Ochieng , will also make his way back to the Natural Olympia stage. So the Men’s Bodybuilding division will be stacked. As Philip Rciardo Jr. puts it, it will be a “dog fight for the top spot.”

Go beneath the streets on this tour of the spectacular, mind-bending Moscow Metro! Be awed by architecture and spot the Propaganda , then hear soviet stories from a local in the know. Finish it all up above ground, looking up to Stalins skyscrapers, and get the inside scoop on whats gone on behind those walls.

Know More about this tour

We begin our Moscow tour beneath the city, exploring the underground palace of the Moscow Metro. From the Square of Revolution station, famous for its huge statues of soviet people (an armed soldier, a farmer with a rooster, a warrior, and more), we’ll move onto some of the most significant stations, where impressive mosaics, columns, and chandeliers will boggle your eyes! Moreover, these stations reveal a big part of soviet reality — the walls depict plenty of Propaganda , with party leaders looking down from images on the walls. Your local guide will share personal stories of his/her family from USSR times, giving you insight into Russia’s complicated past and present. Then we’re coming back up to street level, where we’ll take a break and refuel with some Russian fast food: traditional pancakes, called bliny. And then, stomachs satiated, we are ready to move forward! We’ll take the eco-friendly electric trolleybus, with a route along the Moscow Garden Ring. Used mainly by Russian babushkas(grannies) during the day, the trolleybus hits peak hours in the mornings and evenings, when many locals use it going to and from their days. Our first stop will be the Aviator’s House, one of Stalin’s Seven Sisters, followed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs — and you’ll hear the legends of what has gone on inside the walls. Throughout your Moscow tour, you’ll learn curious facts from soviet history while seeing how Russia exists now, 25 years after the USSR.

He didn't take shortcuts and really covered everything that was on the agenda in great detail. We saw beautiful metro stations and learned the history behind them, including many of the murals and designs.
