One word for the Forest River Heritage Glen 270FKS: WOW. This front kitchen travel trailer is truly incredible. 

Starting in the front of the camper (the kitchen area), this RV has a ton of counter space. The counter spans the entire front width of the trailer and curves around the corner to the range.

A huge front window and skylight in the kitchen provides plenty of natural light, paired with the panoramic windows behind the recliner and dinette and it feels so open and spacious. 

This RV has a ton of interior and exterior storage – if you’re a full-time RVer or wannabe, this is a great rig to consider. It even has an enclosed underbelly with heating pads to keep everything thawed out even in sub-freezing temps.

The Jayco White Hawk 26Fk is a great front kitchen travel trailer that has everything you need and nothing you don’t. 

The front kitchen countertop spans the entire width of the camper and then some, curving around the corner to the stovetop. 

The front of the camper has a pantry, dinette, and two theater seats with their own removable tabletops. The bathroom is in the middle of the camper on one side, so it doesn’t block access to the bedroom. 

The queen sized bed is located on a slideout for extra bedroom space, and directly opposite is a wardrobe, dresser, and additional entry.

KZ RV is a brand known for unique floor plans and high-quality RVs, and we love the front kitchen C272FK travel trailer. 

This travel trailer has a large countertop that spans the width of the RV, a 70 inch sofa, a booth dinette, and a walk-in pantry in the front of the RV. 

The entertainment center features a TV and a 30 inch fireplace for warm and cozy vibes on cool nights. 

The bathroom is on one side in the middle of the floor plan, and the bedroom has a king sized bed, which is somewhat rare for travel trailers.

The first of the Palominos on this list, the Puma 26FKDS is a great little front kitchen travel trailer under 30 feet long.

This travel trailer has a wide countertop across the width of the camper in front with plenty of cabinets overhead and below the counter. 

There’s a walk-in pantry by the entry door, and a booth dinette with a loveseat sofa on the slide-out opposite the entry.

The bedroom has a queen sized bed with a walk-in closet that has a washer/dryer prep, and a wardrobe beside it.

The SolAire Ultra Lite 230FKBS is a brand new floor plan from Palomino, first offered in 2023.

This front kitchen travel trailer is unique compared to many models on the market today. Most models have the counter in the front and all the appliances on the camp side of the camper. But this one has the refrigerator on the driver’s side of the camper, right next to the sofa/dinette area. 

There’s a closet to the left of the entry door and a pantry in the kitchen itself. 

The bathroom spans the width of the camper, but you can access the bedroom via the second entry if the bathroom is occupied. 

The bedroom features a king-sized bed and a wardrobe – this floor plan feels similar to the Rockwood Mini Lite 2516s, and we can’t wait to see pictures and a walkthrough.

Last but definitely not least is the Venture Sonic SN241VFK. 

Venture isn’t one of the travel trailer mega-corporations out there, which also means their rigs aren’t mass produced. And that means… quality. They’re actually owned by KZ RV who is also known for quality builds.

This front kitchen travel trailer has a wide kitchen that takes up the entire front end of the trailer, and a jiffy sofa and booth dinette on either side of the living space.

The bathroom spans the length of the camper and the bedroom has a front-to-back facing RV short queen bed. 

This RV might not have all the frills of larger RVs, but it is well-built, aesthetically pleasing, and lightweight.

Airstream Basecamp 16

Length: 16 feet, 0 inches

The smallest front kitchen travel trailer on our list is the Airstream Basecamp 16. While the Basecamp doesn’t look like other Airstream travel trailers, it is built to meet the company’s high quality standards.

In fact, the low profile, aerodynamic shape of this trailer naturally delivers low wind resistance creating less drag. Inside, the Basecamp has everything you need for a comfortable night at the campsite.

The front kitchen includes a two-burner gas stove, sink, microwave, a small refrigerator and windows with panoramic views.. There is also a wet bathroom and bench seating that converts into a full-size bed.

inTech Sol Eclipse

Length: 17 feet, 0 inches

Another tiny travel trailer with a front kitchen is the inTech Sol Eclipse. inTech is exceptional at making smaller spaces feel large. Utilizing what they call “Tilt–Forward Design”, the trailer takes advantage of the unused space over the trailer’s A-frame.

The unique exterior profile provides more space in the front and rear of the camper and delivers 6’ 4” headroom at the peak. The design also includes a massive 3-ply laminated glass panoramic front windshield to provide stellar views from the front kitchen.

The kitchen comes equipped with a large farmhouse sink, a two-burner LP stove, a refrigerator and a microwave. Other interior features include woven vinyl flooring, a wet bath and a large dinette that easily converts into a bed.

Grand Design Imagine AiM 15BH

Length: 19 feet, 11 inches

At just under 20 feet long, the Imagine AiM 15BH is a tiny travel trailer with enough space to sleep a a family of four. While this RV is small, the front kitchen is spacious and well-equipped.

The wrap-around kitchen has loads of counterspace and storage, a 12 volt fridge, a convection microwave and a 2-burner stove. Medium-tone wood cabinets and a unique geometric backsplash, give the space a modern feel.

The rear of the RV houses the sleeping area with a queen bed below a single flip-up bunk. Beside the bed is a bathroom with a separate shower and a flip-up sink. This floorplan also includes a dinette booth and an outdoor griddle.

Forest River Flagstaff E-Pro E20FKS

Length: 21 feet, 2 inches

Forest River makes several travel trailers with front kitchens, but the Flagstaff E-Pro E20FKS is the smallest. In addition to its small size, the E-Pro’s off road tires and standard solar package make it a great rig to take boondocking .

The kitchen in this trailer comes with light wood cabinets, a 12 volt fridge, a microwave and a full range with an oven and a 3-burner cooktop. An outdoor kitchen with a pull-out stove and a griddle is also standard.

A queen bed with a single flip-down bunk above is located in the rear of the RV. Other notable features of the E20FKS include a full three-piece bathroom, a quick recovery water heater and plywood flooring throughout.

Forest River Rockwood Mini Lite 2516S

Length: 25 feet, 11 inches

Another Forest River front kitchen travel trailer is the Rockwood Mini Lite 2516S. This floorplan is the smallest one our list that offers a private main bedroom, completely separated from the kitchen and living room.

The kitchen in the Rockwood Mini Lite is very similar to the E-Pro floorplan, except the Rockwood trades a little counter space in order to make room for floor-to-ceiling pantry cabinet.

A pass-through bathroom connects the living area to the bedroom. The bedroom has its own entrance door from outside, a walk-around queen bed and a large wardrobe closet. A hide-a-bed in the living room provides extra sleeping space for kids or guests.

Palomino Puma 22FKQ

Length: 26 feet, 0 inches

The Palomino Puma 22FKQ is an awesome mid-sized front kitchen travel trailer. It is a perfect size for couples on extended road trips who want a little extra room to move around.

• Specifications

This new floorplan offers an island kitchen, large dinette and a hide-a-bed sofa or theater seating. This couple's coach also has an outside kitchen with a burner top and refrigerator. The bed slide can accommodate a queen or king bed. The desk area along the back wall can be used for a great working space while you work remotely from your camper.

Specifications Definitions

GAWR (Gross Axle Weight Rating) – is the maximum permissible weight, including cargo, fluids, optional equipment and accessories that can be safely supported by a combination of all axles.

UVW (Unloaded Vehicle Weight)* - is the typical weight of the unit as manufactured at the factory. It includes all weight at the unit’s axle(s) and tongue or pin and LP Gas. The UVW does not include cargo, fresh potable water, additional optional equipment or dealer installed accessories. *Estimated Average based on standard build optional equipment.

CCC (Cargo Carrying Capacity)** - is the amount of weight available for fresh potable water, cargo, additional optional equipment and accessories. CCC is equal to GVWR minus UVW. Available CCC should accommodate fresh potable water (8.3 lbs per gallon). Before filling the fresh water tank, empty the black and gray tanks to provide for more cargo capacity. **Estimated Average based on standard build optional equipment.

Each Forest River RV is weighed at the manufacturing facility prior to shipping. A label identifying the unloaded vehicle weight of the actual unit and the cargo carrying capacity is applied to every Forest River RV prior to leaving our facilities.

The load capacity of your unit is designated by weight, not by volume, so you cannot necessarily use all available space when loading your unit.
