De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig (formed in 2005) is a Dutch hip-hop, electro and R&B group, known for their humourous, playful and multi-lingual approach to songwriting, hailing from Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

The oddball nature of De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig, meaning “Kids These Days”, has led the Dutch group to develop a name for itself across the continent. The band’s often bizarre antics and wordplay also culminate in multiple pseudonyms for the group’s members. De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig is formed of Freddie Tratlehner, otherwise known as 'Vieze Fur', 'Filthy Fur', or 'Vieze Freddie', Pepijn Lanen, a.k.a. 'P. Fabergé', a.k.a. 'P. Droq', a.k.a. 'Peppie', and Ollicio Locadia, otherwise known as 'Willie Wartaal'.

The band earned their first success with the novelty hit single “Watskeburt?!” in May 2005. The single topped the Dutch Singles Chart and peaked at No. 15 in the Flemish “Ultratop” chart. The word “Watskeburt” is a a neologism, a contraction of the Dutch sentence “Wat is er gebeurd?” meaning “What happened? or “What’s up”, and highlights the group’s playful approach to songwriting. Produced by long-time producer Bas Bron, the single was taken from the full-length album “Parels voor de Zwijnen”, also released in 2005. The album subsequently spawned two further singles “Voorjekijkendooropen” and “Ho Ho Ho” featuring Katja Schuurman, both of which charted within the Dutch Top 40.

In 2006 De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig collaborated with the ska/reggae band Luie Hond on the single “Poes in de Playboy”, before releasing the single “Hollereer” ahead of their sophomore album. That album, “De Machine” was issued is 2008 and produced the subsequent singles “Wopwopwop (De Tentbakkers)”, “Datvindjeleukhe”, “Buma In Mijn Zak”, and “Deze Donkere Jongen komt zo Hard”. Two years later the De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig’s third full-length “De Lachende Derde” arrived, the lead single of which, “Sterrenstof”, saw the group return to the higher echelons of the Dutch Singles Chart. “Ja Natuurlijk”, the band’s fourth full length, was released in 2013.

Three piece Dutch hip-hop group De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig, translated as ‘Kids These Days’ began making a name for themselves in 2005 with their playful nature combined with the frequently employed neologisms stemming from a variety of languages and dialects. Known by their stage names Vieze Fur, P. Faberge and Willie Wartaal first exploded in the Netherlands when they released their debut novelty single ‘Watskeburt?!’ (translated as What’s Up?!) which wasn’t so popular until radio stations had picked up on it and soon it spread like wildfire landing them a number one in the Dutch music charts where it stayed for three weeks. Later that year they released their debut album ‘Parels voor de Zwijnen’ (Pearls for the Swines). Sensing a great business opportunity, Dominos in Netherlands created the ‘One Sentence Serenade’ campaign whereby P. Faberge invented slogans through making up new words and now he has a 1.5% stake in the company, so if you love pizza in the Netherlands you’re now bound to be familiar with De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig. Subsequently the band went on to release three more studio albums.

It’s no surprise that they’re tongue-in-cheek lyrical humour is embraced and adored by many with sold-out venues across the country whenever the band tour. Using visual backdrops intensifies the presence which the band have on stage, providing plenty of visual and audio pleasure. Before they even appear on stage, the band a greeted with a wall of cheers as they break into their popular hits ‘Shenkee’ and ‘Hollereer’ and of course the chart topping ‘Watskeburt?!’ incorporating electronic elements as they dance across the stage. Expect banter, a barrel of laughs and whole ton of fun!

Ze staan te trappelen om hun ziel en zaligheid met jullie te delen. Muziek en Emoties. Nieuwe trek out now: "Ze Is Pas Net Begonnen". Tour doorheen Nederland en Vlaanderen dit najaar!

Willie Wartaal, Faberyayo, Vieze Fur en Bas Bron, samen De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig aka De Jeugd, ontketenden in 2005 een ware rage met de single "Watskeburt?!". Sindsdien schuimen ze de betere festivals en zalen af in de Lage Landen met hun eclectische en dansbare hiphop met briljante teksten. Check "Sterrenstof", "Get Spanish" en "Manon". Allemaal oorwurmpjes van formaat.

De shows in Het Depot (november 2021) en Trix (april 2022) waren in een mum van tijd uitverkocht. Dat belooft voor de live terugkeer met nieuwe muziek van De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig in 2023.

IT WAS GREAT!!

By far this has been one of the best shows i have been to this year and the past years!! His interaction with the crowd was great, his voice is amazing live!! I took friends who don't really listen to him and they left the show as fans of his!! That says a lot!! I'm a huge fan myself and was nervous about what they would think of him but he did better than I could describe!! HIGHLY recommend seeing but not really because then his tickets will sell out faster lol :(

Magnificent Show

This show proved there's more to Matt Maltese than singing about the end of the world. Solid performance from beginning to end. Last year (in Los Angeles) The Regent; this year The Wiltern; next stop The Hollywood Bowl!

getting to hear all of my fav songs live was life changing tbh. music was amazing and he was amazing. if u were the tall asian guy i kept bumping shoulders with in sf u were a cutie and i wish i’d asked for your name :)

He deserves an Oscar!

One of the best experiences so far. Well organized and the staff were attentive. Courtesy water was given out so I was extremely happy about that. Now to talk about Matt. Just a dream to hear he’s angelic voice once again.

Matt Maltese is so microwaveable

His set design was adorable and the ambiance of the show was really intimate. He gave entertaining dialogue between songs and played beautifully. His band added an extra flare to his music as well. And without fail he provided VOCALS. His voice was like a literal Angel’s call. The man killed it, go see him live if you can. The experience is transcending. He also looked so incredibly microwavable the whole night. No I won’t elaborate, ifykyk

BEST moment of the concert for sure was singing “As the world caves in” you could feel the energy of the crowd. It was emotional and life changing. What a wonderful experience 💕

the concert was so beautiful, although we had to wait outside in the cold a lot. it was quite unorganized at the end, but the concert itself was such an amazing experience!

Everyone adores him (at least I do)

Matt is an incredible singer, songwriter, and pianist. Each concert of his I've been to has been lively, emotion-filled, and such a good, chill time. I've always left feeling fulfilled and happy. Very talented to see live, sounds exactly like his albums and even better in person, honestly. So many of his songs he adds twists / extensions to live and it's such a treat! Otherwise, his band is wonderful, the lighting is always perfect for the songs, and the crowd is mostly respectful.

Elton John | Farewell Yellow Brick Road The Final Tour October 9

Elton John to perform at Levi’s® Stadium on October 9!

Due to overwhelming demand, Elton John’s Farewell Brick Road The Final Tour has added a second and final show in Santa Clara, CA on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Levi’s® Stadium. Amex and Rocket presales begin tomorrow, Friday, April 8 at 10:00AM local time. Public on sale begins Wednesday, April 13 at 10:00AM local time.

The new stop marks the thirty-second date added to Elton’s final North American stadium tour. Tickets for the previously announced October 8 Levi’s® Stadium date are on sale now.

• All guests ages 2 and above must have an event ticket to enter the stadium.
• Add your tickets and parking passes into Apple Wallet or G Pay to expedite entry at parking and stadium gates.
• There is no re-entry after admittance.
• Guests should have their tickets ready to scan upon approaching the stadium entry gates.
• The ticket barcode must be visible no matter the ticket type.
• The Visa Box Office opens at 4pm and is located at the north end of the stadium at Toyota Gate F. Walk-up tickets may also be available at the Visa Box Office.
• Tickets will not be emailed or available to print. Screenshots of tickets are not accepted. Your mobile ticket must be displayed on your phone to get into the event.

All guests must be in possession of a valid event ticket, pass or credential to park in a designated parking lot. Please download prepaid parking passes ahead of time and add them to your mobile wallet for an expedited parking process. Day of parking will be available on a limited basis. Credit card payment only.

Mobility Services will be onsite at 4:15pm to provide roving carts from the mobility kiosks in Red Lot 1.

Bicycle Parking

Bicycle parking will be located outside Dignity Health Gate C and opens at 5:30pm.

Buses/Oversized Vehicle

Buses/oversized vehicles must park in Blue RV and contact the Visa Box Office at 408-579-4449 to purchase parking in advance.

Tailgating is not permitted for this event.

Bag check services are no longer available . Only bags that comply with Levi’s® Stadium Clear Bag Policy will be allowed.

Levi’s® Stadium prohibits all bags, backpacks and other carriers from being brought into the stadium with the following exceptions:

• Clear Purses
• One gallon clear plastic zip lock type bags
• Small Clutch Bag (the size of an adult hand) (4.5” x 6.5”)
• Seat Cushion

• Plastic water bottles (factory sealed, no-alcohol, less than 24 ounces)
• Reusable transparent water bottles (no-alcohol, less than 24 ounces)
• Seat cushions
• Strollers (contact the nearest Playmaker if in need of storing)
• Sunscreen & hand-powered misters
• Umbrellas (no obstruction of other fans view)
• Protective face coverings
• Hand sanitizers up to 12 ounces

The following ARE NOT PERMITTED in the stadium:

• Aerosol cans
• Alcoholic beverages

Valley Transportation Authority (VTA)

VTA will operate increased train service from Mountain View station (Caltrain transfer) and Milpitas station (BART transfer) two hours prior to event start. Post-event service will run for approximately 60 minutes post-event. For more information, please visit 

Guests heading to the concert can get off at the Mountain View station and transfer to VTA light rail service to Levi’s Stadium. Post-event, Caltrain will operate regular weekend schedule – the last northbound train will depart Mountain View at 11:34pm. We recommend guests riding Caltrain to make the VTA connection no later than 11pm. Southbound trains will depart at 11:16pm, 12:15am, and 1:21am. Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART)

BART will operate regular weekend schedule and will offer one special event train post-concert in coordination with VTA. The last train northbound trains will depart at 11:21pm, 11:37pm, and 11:51pm. For more information, please visit  www.bart.gov .

Capitol Corridor

VTA will operate increased train service pre-game from Mountain View station (Caltrain transfer) and Milpitas station (BART transfer) two hours prior to game start. Post-game service will run for approximately 60 minutes from the official end of game. For more information, please visit www.vta.org , or call 408-321-2300.

Capitol Corridor will operate regular weekend schedule southbound to Santa Clara. For more information, please visit www.capitolcorridor.org .

Caltrain provides services from San Francisco to South San Jose with stops all along the peninsula. On Sunday, fans heading to the game can get off at the Mountain View station and transfer to VTA light rail service to Levi’s Stadium. Post-game, Caltrain will operate regular weekend schedule and northbound trains will depart Mountain View at 4:34 pm, 5:34 pm and 6:34 pm.

Drop-off/Pick-up Area for Rideshare

  The rideshare drop-off location at Levi’s® Stadium for this event will be on Great America Parkway curbside, between Tasman Drive and Old Glory Lane. The pick-up zone is located in Red Lot 7. Follow signage and staff instructions for additional direction.

All accessible parking will be directed to Green Lot 1. Guests who possess a valid placard will be directed to park and must display their placard at the entrance to be admitted.

Levi’s® Stadium takes pride in providing elite service to all guests including those requiring mobility assistance. We provide a variety of services for our guests with special needs. Included in these services are courtesy shuttle buses from selected parking lots, golf cart shuttles in the Main lot, and Guest Services representatives to provide wheelchair service if requested. Assisted Listening Devices will be available at all Guest Services kiosks presented by United located throughout the stadium.
