FITCuba 2017 ha contado con la participación de un importante número de compañías expositoras, tanto cubanas como extranjeras. Entre los representantes del sector turístico cubano, Gaviota Tours ha desempeñado un papel protagónico desde su fundación y ha fortalecido su presencia e influencia durante los últimos años.

Gaviota Tours se presenta en FITCuba en un momento de mucho dinamismo, un año en el cual ha vivido un proceso de revisión de sus propias estructuras, conformación de nuevas estructuras con la creación de Gaviota Tours Ventas –su grupo de trabajo de contratación de turoperadores– y la incorporación de nuevos miembros recién graduados de la universidad. Esta agencia de viajes se distingue por su personal, el equipo de profesionales que trabajan detrás de todas las operaciones. 

“Nos presentamos con un espíritu renovado, en un proceso de implementación de la nueva imagen, que se muestra al exterior. En el aspecto interno estamos concretando muchas de las operaciones que ya existían y ahora se han amplificado. El cambio de imagen implica para nosotros mucha ilusión y demanda mucho trabajo. Todos estamos muy motivados con el cambio de imagen que muestra un Gaviota renovado, homogéneo, coherente, fuerte. Es un momento cúspide de renovación y crecimiento”, comentó Claudia Riverón Abreu, Directora Comercial de Gaviota Tours.   

En términos de circuitos, que es el producto al que está dedicada la feria, Gaviota Tours ha realizado una revisión de su catálogo de circuito. “Hemos renovado estos circuitos y traemos cinco circuitos colectivos. Entre ellos hay un circuito oriental que está en línea con la estrategia de promoción de los destinos en la región”, señaló la Directora Comercial de Gaviota Tours.

Gaviota Tours tiene presencia actualmente en La Habana, Varadero, Cayo Santa María, Cayo Coco y Holguín. Desde Holguín está presente en Baracoa y Santiago de Cuba, y desde La Habana trabaja Pinar del Río. Trinidad es operada desde la región Central.     

La agencia atraviesa un proceso de expansión mediante la amplificación de su red de ventas hacia La Habana Vieja, pues aprovecha que Gaviota es la administradora de los hoteles de esa zona y, como parte de la estrategia propia del grupo, estará presente también en varios de los hoteles de marca Habaguanex. Este proceso incrementa la fortaleza de su red de ventas y su presencia.

Gaviota Tours ha incorporado nuevas operaciones y otras ya están en un proceso de consolidación y crecimiento. Destaca Polonia, por ejemplo, Canadá es el principal mercado y la operación desde Rusia registra un aumento considerable y se duplicará en Varadero el próximo invierno. La agencia está presentando todas sus oportunidades de negocios a los operadores de Estados Unidos para identificar las oportunidades que tiene con ese mercado y viceversa. 

Entre los principales mercados emisores de turismo, Gaviota Tours tiene identificados a Canadá, Alemania, Rusia, Italia y Francia. El mercado chino se encuentra entre los objetivos de trabajo y una misión comercial de la agencia viajará en junio al mercado asiático para dar continuidad a los acuerdos y seguir abriendo oportunidades. Además, la agencia de viajes lleva varios años trabajando el mercado español, el cual ha crecido exponencialmente.  

En cuanto al mercado alemán, Gaviota Tours trabaja con el operador Anex Tour, que al principio operaba el mercado ruso. Esta operación ha devenido de un resultado positivo del crecimiento en conjunto y es una noticia muy buena en el marco de esta feria dedicada a Alemania. Gaviota Tours tiene operaciones con TUI Alemania, el grupo DER, lo cual implica un volumen muy significativo dentro del mercado.

A pesar de la situación epidemiológica actual en Cuba , por la COVID-19, que ha conllevado entre otras medidas restrictivas a la reducción de vuelos procedentes del extranjero al país, el grupo empresarial turístico Gaviota Tours, continúa comercializando capacidades hoteleras en los principales polos turísticos del país.

En un comunicado la entidad ha dado a conocer las ofertas disponibles en los hoteles de: Varadero, Cayo Santa María, Guardalavaca y Jardines del Rey. Desde el 2020 las instalaciones hoteleras cubanas permiten reservar en Moneda Libremente Convertible (MLC) así como la gestión de los traslados hacia diferentes destinos de la isla.

“Importante destacar que debido a la presencia de la Covid-19 en nuestro país y en el mundo, las ventas de las ofertas están condicionadas según la fase epidemiológica de cada municipio, ya que se restringe la movilidad y acceso a los hoteles”, alerta Gaviota Tours en el comunicado, por lo que solicita a los clientes a mantenerse informados sobre las orientaciones que emite el Ministerio de Salud Pública de Cuba.

From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.

At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.

Moscow Metro 2019

Will it be easy to find my way in the Moscow Metro? It is a question many visitors ask themselves before hitting the streets of the Russian capital. As metro is the main means of transport in Moscow – fast, reliable and safe – having some skills in using it will help make your visit more successful and smooth. On top of this, it is the most beautiful metro in the world !

. There are over 220 stations and 15 lines in the Moscow Metro. It is open from 6 am to 1 am. Trains come very frequently: during the rush hour you won't wait for more than 90 seconds! Distances between stations are quite long – 1,5 to 2 or even 3 kilometers. Metro runs inside the city borders only. To get to the airport you will need to take an onground train - Aeroexpress.

RATES AND TICKETS

Paper ticket A fee is fixed and does not depend on how far you go. There are tickets for a number of trips: 1, 2 or 60 trips; or for a number of days: 1, 3 days or a month. Your trips are recorded on a paper ticket. Ifyou buy a ticket for several trips you can share it with your traveling partner passing it from one to the other at the turnstile.

On every station there is cashier and machines (you can switch it to English). Cards and cash are accepted. 1 trip - 55 RUB 2 trips - 110 RUB

Tickets for 60 trips and day passes are available only at the cashier's.

60 rides - 1900 RUB

1 day - 230 RUB 3 days - 438 RUB 30 days - 2170 RUB.

The cheapest way to travel is buying Troyka card . It is a plastic card you can top up for any amount at the machine or at the ticket office. With it every trip costs 38 RUB in the metro and 21 RUB in a bus. You can get the card in any ticket office. Be prepared to leave a deposit of 50 RUB. You can get it back returning the card to the cashier.

SamsungPay, ApplePay and PayPass cards.

One turnstile at every station accept PayPass and payments with phones. It has a sticker with the logos and located next to the security's cabin.

GETTING ORIENTED

At the platfrom you will see one of these signs.

It indicates the line you are at now (line 6), shows the direction train run and the final stations. Numbers below there are of those lines you can change from this line.

In trains, stations are announced in Russian and English. In newer trains there are also visual indication of there you are on the line.

To change lines look for these signs. This one shows the way to line 2.

There are also signs on the platfrom. They will help you to havigate yourself. (To the lines 3 and 5 in this case).
