Embarking on this extraordinary trip opens doors to unique experiences, where coaches can participate in exclusive pro-coaching clinics led by leading coach educators. These personalized sessions provide an unparalleled opportunity to elevate coaching skills and gain valuable insights into current trends in the international game, courtesy of the best hockey nations in the world.
Beyond the field, the tour offers a rich tapestry of Zag Culture tours, showcasing the distinctive traditions of each destination. The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) is a nonprofit organization serving field hockey coaches and supporters of the game from across the United States. The mission of the organization is to stimulate the professional development of coaching leadership within the sport of field hockey. The NFHCA strives to cultivate and recognize the professional contributions of its membership and to foster and promote the growth of the sport. The NFHCA is responsible for providing a recognizable presence and voice in regard to legislation affecting the sport as well as interscholastic and intercollegiate programs.

Melisa co-founded Zag with her husband Jeremy in 2002. Her lifelong experience with sports, travel, and service were inspirational for her. During college, she played field hockey at the University of Iowa and the U21 National Team, traveling the world to compete. She was named First Team All American and Big Ten Player of the Year.
