This 1995 Nissan Safari is high on style and a rugged little truck to boot. Finished in an eye-catching Beige Pearl over Turquoise Metallic (6P8) two-tone, the angular fender arches and rear spoiler seem lifted out of the Paris-Dakkar rally, which admittedly suits the aesthetic. It's unique, capable and determined. Offered with a mere 91k verified and documented miles, this turbo diesel 4x4 is ready to get dirty and be put to work. Chock full of expensive upgrades and power accessories this robust and spacious Nissan is a real deal brute and a Japanese Classic. 

The cabin is abnormally wide and space is abundant. Plush gray cloth seats are soft and comfortable on long cruises. Aside from a few small holes on the driver-side seat bottom, they lack any major rips, stains, or tears and look to have been cared for properly in a prior life. The view of the road ahead is clear and the tall ride height promotes visibility. If by chance you're concerned about seeing the road at night time, get ready for a huge surprise. Centrally mounted on the metal East Coast Bullbar are two twin motorized IPF pencil lights. They can be adjusted with dual controllers affixed inside the vehicle so you can see the road ahead at night, or even impersonate a cop! Seriously though, these things are awesome and one of the coolest accessories we have had on an imported SUV. The dash does have some cracking in the center section to note, and centrally mounted is the climate control system and OEM audio. Both work and the Nissan blows cold A/C for those remaining summer months where it's necessary. For more ventilation, the rear side glass can be slid open and a manual sunroof sits atop the vehicle between the front passengers. Power windows, locks, and electric mirrors are all standard and work properly. We did want to note the power-folding function on those mirrors no longer is operational and the door cards do have some light delamination to note. The headliner has some imperfections as well, located by the passenger side front seat. On the positive side, the carpets look good for a truck of this age and the cargo area has escaped Japan without major damage. The rear doors spit fold open to accommodate wide cargo and the rear seats can be folded up against the d-pillar for additional space. We also wanted no note some final accessories, including the rear Warn winch is complemented by another upfront if you plan to take this truck through the back forty. 

This body on frame platform isn't bad on pavement and has benefited from a slate of services performed here in our shop. The RD28 powers this rig and is fresh off an oil and filter service. The 2825cc straight-six cranks over quickly thanks to a new 12v battery we installed in our shop. This low vibration turbodiesel is mated to a selective transfer case and features full-time 4WD. Low gearing is available if you need it and the hubs can be locked if you are out wheeling. The automatic transmissions shift as it should and the acceleration is punchy enough that you don't have to stress merging on the freeway. The suspension supplies plenty of ground clearance and can handle the rigors of daily use. The brakes are equally competent and this three-door stops just fine despite its heftiness. The power steering is on the heavier side but works like a charm and the six-spoke alloys are all wrapped in new all-season tires. They have quieted the ride down a fair bit and we have even replaced the spare. to match. These all terrains will last for tens of thousands of miles to come and deliver premium year-round grip. 

*California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB complaint first. CARB certifications will have to be performed within the state. Depending on the vehicle and any existing modifications will affect the pricing. Typically CARB compliance will range between 5-10K.
