Best experience ever

Best experience ever, we saw all the animals from a very close distance. Vegan option was posible We were worry because of the price difference, but amazed. We pay way less than other tours than offer the same. Btw a jeep is the same as a van there, they have to stay on the road. So this are luxurious details.

The webpage is ok, but price exsamples would be a good idea. The staff is very dedicated to their jobs and we had a lot of fun. And they are totally realiable, which is very important. We say all the important animals. So we highly recommend this compagne.

Amazing Masai Mara safari!

I have traveled on safari several times with Bencia Africa Adventures & Safaris, but it was the first time for the group of friends I was with. We all had such an amazing experience thanks to Alfred for setting it all up for us and thanks to our driver George for being such a wonderful and helpful guide. Alfred made sure to give us lots of options of places to stay based on different budget ranges so that we could select the option that was the best for the entire group to agree on. Awesome safari with Bencia

Flexible and well organised trip, even when challenges arose Bencia team solved problems in a flash. High five to our guide and driver Joseph, who led us through 6 parks and helped us see the big five in six days! Wonderful exprience, great accommodation and food everywhere we went. The most amazing guide EVER!

We had the most amazing guide EVER!! Rafa was the best. He had endless knowledge in all the wildlife including a lot of birds as well. He was clearly passionate about seeing the animals, educating about them, and very conservation conscious! We wished we could have spent our entire trip with him, because he was the best!!

A safe and great trip is critical

We engaged Bencia prior to arrival to Kenya. Alfred has been given us prompt and useful advices on the trip planning. I did a price comparison and concluded to engage them for better value and flexible. We enjoyed the freedom we had throughout the journey. The guide / driver was very patient with us and supportive. He is very punctual and careful in driving in the difficult road, Worked very hard in one of the days for almost non-stop driving of 12 hours on extremely bad road conditions. Highly recommended

Fantastic Agency!

I and other five friends we booked four days safari to Masai Mara we were given fairly and reasonable rate as per our budget. The driver picked us on time as we had agreed The itinerary was carefully followed and well balanced the food and other logistics was well organized. Great agency, excellent guide and driver

Very formal agency in terms of collection from airport, payment and commuting. Our guide and driver, Edwin and Joseph were excellent, they made our experience unique, we enjoyed much more than expected. Everything well scheduled. Thanks to Joseph instinct we could see ñus crossing the Mara River, an indescrivable moment that we never forgot. Thanks to Bencia for this unforgettable travel.

Amazing experience

Alfred and his team provided us with the absolute best experience. They consistently went above and beyond to accommodate the needs of our group and our driver, George, was amazing. He always helped us to get the best views!

Everything was new for me

I am Japanese. The whole experience was new and exposed me to a completely different culture and life. The tour guide and cook were kind and generous with all sorts of help during the tour. I was lucky enough to see all the BIG 5 in one tour and also observed a variety of other wildlife. The Maasai village visit was very interesting for me and the time was just right. Next time I would like to stay in a higher grade accommodation and visit with my family.

Terrible experience. Don't be fooled by fake reviews

It will be a long review, but here you'll have all the details of how it goes with Bencia africa because it's seems a bit tricky to find a good safari agency. We did a safari in Masai Mara with them in january, they sold us 15 hours and 30 minutes of game drive in three days (first evening, then full day, and last one during the last morning). We bought it 280usd (you can find cheaper in other agencies and probably with them also...) for transportation (2 ways from Nairobi), food and tent (like military ones with shower inside). First we left Nairobi 2 hours late (si we arrived 2 hours late at the Park on the first day...) The van was so old it broken down the first day 200 meters after the entrance of the park, so no game drive the first day. The second one the program said "game drive from 8.00am to 6.30pm". At 5.00pm the driver reached the exit gate, we asked why so early, he answered "it's a rule setted by the park"... And the next morning the program said "game drive from 6.30am to 9.30am", we did just one hour and then again the driver tried to explain that we were too late to continue the game drive... The driver doesn't care about the program (and passengers), so we requested the company for something (partial refund or something else) and here start their funny answers. They first answered "the 2 people we shared the van with were happy, so the company cannot make any refund". I replied that we don't care about the feelings of the others in the van, we had a contract and nothing of it was respected. So they answered "our driver made a detour of 40 minutes, so we consider this as a compensation". Then i replied that we never asked for a detour but to be dropped on the way back to Nairobi to take a local bus to naivasha (but the driver brought us to naivasha even if i told him that we'll find a bus). Juste for you to know, public transportation for Naivasha is about 1 dollar from there... So they tried to compensate the 5 hours in the park they stole us with a one dollar drive. Then we continue to talk with them and finally they said that there will be a refund but we wait and we wait and nothing happen. We just leave one star for George the cooker who's a really nice person and the only one with honesty in this company. If you want more informations about our experience, don't hesitate to contact me. I have the screenshots of the WhatsApp conversation as a proof of what i write, and that i don't exagerate/inflate the reality. It's just for you to not make same bad choice than us.

We had a very nice weekend trip to…

We had a very nice weekend trip to Amboseli with Bencia and I can definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for an affordable safari in one of the major Kenyan parks. The communication with the team was very smooth and efficient, they quickly answered to all my requests in whatsapp and were always ready to help. We did a 4 day Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru tour. Alfred, the owner, was true to his word and always answered my emails and whatsapp messages. The tour was great and so was the accommodation and food. We saw all the big 5 including a leopard! George, our driver, was fabulous and went the extra mile for us. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Highly recommended.

Amazing trip !

I went on a safari with some friends few weeks ago in Kenya and used the services of BENCIA to organise it. When organising it from france, Alfred was always very responsive which was very appreciated. The safari was an amazing experience thanks to our guide Joseph who clearly went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. He was full of passion for his work and had a good network within guides allowing us to always be on the right spots to see the most animals. While this was not my first safari it was the most amazing one thanks to Joseph. I could only recommend Bencia if you want to do a safari (and ask Joseph as guide you will not be disappointed !)

Not reliable and fraudsters

Not reliable and fraudsters I booked a tour with the agency Bencia Africa Adventure & Safaris based in Nairobi, starting from Kenya - Nairobi and that was to end in Tanzania - Arusha and then continue to Zanzibar. The tour involved crossing the large parks to follow the migrations, more than visits to sites of interest along the way. Obviously we knew that being in Africa and in a country where accuracy is not there we would have to adapt and not ask too many questions even if the price we had paid for two was very high. In any case, as we expected, throughout the trip we were not adequately informed about the program, giving us vague information and changing it continuously program, in fact three times we have changed the structures where to sleep, previously communicated, changing them with others not always of the same level proposed and the discovery of the change occurred only on the spot, without giving us the opportunity to accept or change. The first excursion was to Mount Kenya where we were told a generic "let's visit a cave", but we were not told that there were four hours of trekking and that we had to be equipped for a very rough path. The moral of the fairy tale, after half an hour of march a storm broke out and not being equipped we had to go back. And so it was throughout the trip. The most serious episode that happened and that ruined us all the rest of the holiday happened after 5 days of travel, when we arrived at the northern border between Kenya and Tanzania. They told us that they had to wait for their next guide before continuing their journey. They left us at a taxi saying that the driver would wait for us in the next city because he couldn't come there, we didn't have many problems because we were used to that way of doing and we went to the meeting in the next city. The guide we met, after a long wait, on the trip told us that he was a replacement for our driver who had the car broken and that would wait for us in the Serengeti Park. The trip was tremendous because he ran like a damned because we understood he didn't pay much and he wanted to get rid of us soon. We made the whole trip without water and lunch that were included. Arrived at the entrance of the park told us that we had to pay the entrance, which was already included in the price, but told us that not being he our guide, once arrived we would refund, we trusted and we paid. Once we arrived we immediately realized that the place was not the one we had booked. We had booked a tent with beds and instead brought us to a public field with a tent where we slept on the ground. The guide was not there and we tried to get him called by the person who had brought us them, telling us that he would arrive after an hour and a half. We waited for the guide and in the meantime we called the agency asking for explanations on the spot that was not the one booked, also because we did not know it, we were not equipped to camp, after my continuous insistence answered me that it was too expensive the tent with beds and changed structure and attached me to the phone not answering me anymore. We waited for the guide who had never arrived and stayed in the camp for two days without water or food, providing our own needs. We stayed two days in the camp sleeping in this public tent with sleeping bags recovered who knows where, because we didn't have the chance to leave, we were stuck and every now and then some characters told us that someone would arrive who never arrived. We were wandering in this camp that was not sure, so much so that one night a hyena chased us and we had to escape. By day the camp was empty and we were left only two close to the tent and a small structure where they ate. We were really desperate, until we managed to bargain with a guy a passage to Arusha, interrupting the journey that was ruined. But not having the entry tickets to the park that the driver had brought with him, we would have had to pay the 400 dollars of the passage, the fine for tickets that we did not have, the two days of stay in the camp and the entry and exit in the park of Ngorongoro that necessarily had to pay to get out of the parks. At that point we decided to call the rangers who brought us to the police where we made the complaint and where magically occurred the driver who had disappeared. He was very surprised by the complaint and he justified himself by saying that the car had broken down and that he was finding a solution, he offered to let us continue the journey with him but we did not accept, the police forced him to give us the money of the entrance to the park, he paid us the car until Arusha and crossing the other parks. We also had to pay one night in the hotel, but once we got there the driver told us that he didn't have the money but we were relieved to have come out of that nightmare and we were very happy to be able to choose us a structure and get rid of them. The agency came alive when it heard about the complaint, apologizing and justifying that it had relied on this partner in Tanzania and that would have made us pay ... to date has never arrived anything. But the fact that I explained that it was his responsibility, because I had made a contract with him and that in the moment of need he had disappeared was a concept difficult to understand. We are now trying to find a solution to get compensation even though we know that it is impossible to get it. Maybe we were a bit unfortunate but nothing justifies their way of behaving and the absolute lack of professionalism, exposing ourselves to risks and leaving us in a foreign land at the mercy of ourselves. Even just because of the stress their behaviour causes you, absolutely avoid them.

Amboseli national park

The safari was very fantastic as we watched free ranging elephants and viewed mt.Kilimanjaro.we also had an opportunity to meet Masai people and visited the Masai village.we also had another opportunity to view other wildlife species such as buffaloes,lion,cheetahs hyenas wild beasts among others,we appreciate the whole programme that Bencia Africa adventure and safaris organized for us,it was just awesome one.We look forward to booking another safari with them.Book with the company Bencia Africa adventure and safaris and have no regrets on your safari.

Highly recommend

Initially I booked a 2 days/1 night safari to the Maasai Mara through WhatsApp (awesome and easy way to do it I must add) I was picked up on time by my fantastic guide, dropped off at BAAS offices to finalize my booking and for payment. Unfortunately (not really in the end) another of my tours got cancelled and I was convinced by the very helpful guys at BAAS to book an extra day, which I did. Best decision I made, because the second day we did a full day safari and we basically saw all the wildlife possible. Absolutely amazing experience with an even more amazing guide (some top notch driving was displayed). Overnight stay at the camp in “tents” was above expectations (hot showers and electricity). Also super flexible at fitting a safari tour to everyone’s needs, which sometimes makes it all a little chaotic (different agencies, companies use the same camp/guides to do the tour, so people might have different itineraries), but the guide was very flexible and wanted to give everyone the best possible safari experience, so we came to a decision as a group. Would definitely book with these guys again, highly recommend.

The Best and most outstanding Safari ever. It was Amazing!!!

The journey started in Nairobi and we headed to maasai Mara, one of the best tourist destinations. We had well cooked food and the meals were in time. We all enjoyed the food. The following day we went to see the wild animals in the maasai Mara game reserve. We had a chance to see the big five and even enjoyed the experience. We also went to maasai village later and we had a chance to buy some items for remembrance. We also had a chance to go to Nakuru. The sight was a good place to take pictures with my friends and also see some birds. I would say that this was the best trip I have had in the year. The transport was provided, sleeping in the camps felt so good and the food was on its own level. I would like to thank John, the chef, the driver and Bencia Africa Adventure and Safaris for the good work that they are doing. It is always worth it to travel with you. I think you need a camera to capture some memories. Bencia Africa Adventure and Safaris offers the best.

We have a great time with this Safari Agency. They are very professional. They take care of you as a mother would do. We have been extremely happy. Philip , the driver makes the best for us too see the animals and you will feel absolutely safe with him. Bernard is the teacher that you need when you're in the middle of the savanna. He takes care of you in all the details. George , the chef, cooks meals as you were in a good restaurant of Nairobi, even though you are in the middle of nowhere. And finally Mimo, who is the smile of Kenya, and will make you feel at home. What's more for a very good price. We will choose this agency again in If we travel again to Kenya. A safe and great trip is critical

We engaged Bencia prior to arrival to Kenya. Alfred has been given us prompt and useful advices on the trip planning. Fantastic Agency!

Amazing experience

Everything was new for me

I am Japanese. The whole experience was new and exposed me to a completely different culture and life. The tour guide and cook were kind and generous with all sorts of help during the tour. Terrible experience. Don't be fooled by fake reviews

It will be a long review, but here you'll have all the details of how it goes with Bencia africa because it's seems a bit tricky to find a good safari agency. We did a safari in Masai Mara with them in january, they sold us 15 hours and 30 minutes of game drive in three days (first evening, then full day, and last one during the last morning). We bought it 280usd (you can find cheaper in other agencies and probably with them also...) for transportation (2 ways from Nairobi), food and tent (like military ones with shower inside). First we left Nairobi 2 hours late (si we arrived 2 hours late at the Park on the first day...) The van was so old it broken down the first day 200 meters after the entrance of the park, so no game drive the first day. The second one the program said "game drive from 8.00am to 6.30pm". At 5.00pm the driver reached the exit gate, we asked why so early, he answered "it's a rule setted by the park"... And the next morning the program said "game drive from 6.30am to 9.30am", we did just one hour and then again the driver tried to explain that we were too late to continue the game drive... The driver doesn't care about the program (and passengers), so we requested the company for something (partial refund or something else) and here start their funny answers. They first answered "the 2 people we shared the van with were happy, so the company cannot make any refund". I replied that we don't care about the feelings of the others in the van, we had a contract and nothing of it was respected. So they answered "our driver made a detour of 40 minutes, so we consider this as a compensation". Then i replied that we never asked for a detour but to be dropped on the way back to Nairobi to take a local bus to naivasha (but the driver brought us to naivasha even if i told him that we'll find a bus). Juste for you to know, public transportation for Naivasha is about 1 dollar from there... So they tried to compensate the 5 hours in the park they stole us with a one dollar drive. Then we continue to talk with them and finally they said that there will be a refund but we wait and we wait and nothing happen. We just leave one star for George the cooker who's a really nice person and the only one with honesty in this company. If you want more informations about our experience, don't hesitate to contact me. I have the screenshots of the WhatsApp conversation as a proof of what i write, and that i don't exagerate/inflate the reality. It's just for you to not make same bad choice than us.

We had a very nice weekend trip to Amboseli with Bencia and I can definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for an affordable safari in one of the major Kenyan parks. We did a 4 day Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru tour. Alfred, the owner, was true to his word and always answered my emails and whatsapp messages. The tour was great and so was the accommodation and food. Amazing trip !

I went on a safari with some friends few weeks ago in Kenya and used the services of BENCIA to organise it. When organising it from france, Alfred was always very responsive which was very appreciated. The safari was an amazing experience thanks to our guide Joseph who clearly went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. He was full of passion for his work and had a good network within guides allowing us to always be on the right spots to see the most animals. Bencia Africa Adventure – A Three-Day Safari – My Review

• About My Three-Day Safari with Bencia Africa Adventure Safari

In December of 2022, I went on a three-day safari to Maasai Mara National Reserve with Bencia Africa Adventure Safari. I originally had booked my safari with a different company but chose to switch to Bencia Africa Adventure Safari after corresponding on WhatsApp with Alfred, who is one of the company’s employees. This page will offer an unbias review of my Maasai Mara Safari with Bencia Africa Adventure.

The reason I switched companies days before my safari began was accommodations. The company I had originally booked with had messaged me, explaining I would be sharing an accommodation with one or two random people. Sharing a room was not something that I was interested in, and nothing in the description of the package I booked mentioned a shared accommodation.

I began reaching out to various companies on WhatsApp and came across Bencia Africa Adventure Safari. Upon talking to Alfred, I knew that this company would go above and beyond to make sure that I had an amazing time at Maasai Mara National Reserve. Alred contacted numerous tent camps and lodges to make sure I would have the best accommodations and assured me I would not be sharing a room with anyone.

I ended up booking a three-day safari with two different accommodations. The first night I would stay at Enkorok Tented Camp, which was a semi-luxury accommodation. The next night I would be at a budget accommodation at the Miti Mingi Eco Camp. I was surprised to learn that the cost of this package was only $638, which was actually only about $40 more than the original package I booked.

Alfred confirmed that I would be picked up at my hotel in Nairobi at 7:30 am by a man named George, who would serve as our guide. I highly recommend Bencia Africa Adventure Safari. I have been on over 100 tours, and this one definitely ranks in the top five. Below are photos of some of the animals that I saw during my three-day safari to Maasai Mara National Reserve.

On the day of my safari, George arrived to pick me up just after 7:30 am. Already in the van were two friends from Japan who would be joining me on the safari. George explained that we needed to go to the Bencia Africa Adventure Safari office to pick up two other passengers so the Japanese tourists could pay for their tour.

We arrived at the office, and I decided to visit the office as well. I wanted to thank Alfred for his help and give him a tip. When I booked the tour, I thought I needed to pay the entry fee to the park. Alfred explained that everything was included except for tips.

After about ten minutes in the office, we returned to the van. Joining us was a newlywed couple from Nairobi who had lived in Kenya their entire life but had never visited Maasai Mara.

Also joining us was a man named John, who would serve as the cook for those staying at the Miti Mingi Eco Camp.

We departed for Maasai Mara National Reserve around 8:30 am, fighting the traffic of downtown Nairobi. While the drive wasn’t the most pleasant experience of my life, it was definitely worth it to see the amazing animals of Maasai Mara National Reserve.

The trip to Maasai Mara National Reserve is not that enjoyable. This statement doesn’t reflect negatively on Bencia Africa Adventure Safari, as I don’t believe the journey would be pleasant with any company. The traffic in and around Nairobi is horrendous, and it takes close to two hours to get out of the city. Just outside of Nairobi, there is a hill that descends into the Great Rift Valley, which has the worst traffic I’d ever experienced.

Thankfully, right as I was starting to feel nauseous, we stopped at an observation area to view the Great Rift Valley. The 20 minutes of fresh air was exactly what I needed to feel better.

I really enjoyed the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. The valley looked so different than anything I’d ever seen before. I was also thrilled to see that in about 5 kilometers, the ride would flatten out for a bit, and hopefully, my stomach would settle.

At the viewpoint, I purchased a bag of chips and a Coke Zero, which I hoped would help calm my stomach.

For about the next two hours, the ride was much more comfortable. I fell asleep and woke up as the van was coming to a stop. I had hoped we were at lunch, but quickly realized that the van was having mechanical problems. It turns out that we had just gone up a massive hill, and the van had overheated. Our vehicle was one of over twenty that had overheated at the top of the hill.

Thankfully, there were local mechanics on motorcycles who came around with engine coolant. Within 45 minutes, our van was working again and was back on our way to Maasai Mara National Reserve. While the mechanic was working on the van, I enjoyed watching the Maasai herd their cows across the road.

Around 2:00 pm, we arrived at Restaurant Olare, where we would be eating lunch. Our lunch was already paid for and served buffet style. George told us to take about 30 minutes to eat and look around the attached gift shop.

The food at restaurant Olare was excellent. I ate slow-cooked beef with rice, vegetables, and noodles. I also made a few purchases at the gift shop of carved animal sculptures from the local Maasai. Had I known that there would be many more opportunities, at cheaper prices, to purchase these items, I would have likely not bought anything.

The next three hours of the drive were pretty miserable. Shortly after lunch, the road becomes dirt and is very bumpy. George did his best to give us a smooth ride, and I tried to keep my lunch in my stomach by sticking my head out the open window.

We arrived at Maasai Mara National Reserve around 5:00 pm. George said that we were going to stop at Miti Mingi Eco Camp so the four other tourists could check into their accommodations. Once they were checked in, George said we would enter the park, and then after a short safari, he would take me to my accommodation. We did get slowed down a bit by what George called a “Maasai Traffic Jam.”

It was a long journey, almost nine hours with traffic and stops, but we finally arrived at Maasai Mara National Reserve. George took our passports and purchased our tickets to enter the reserve. While we waited, we were bombarded by Maasai selling crafts and sculptures. I ended up purchasing quite a few items for about 1/10th of the price I had paid at the gift shop.

We saw quite a few animals during the 90 minutes we spent inside the park. The next day, we would have a full-day safari, which would last 12 hours.

Maasai Mara Accommodations - A Review of Enkorok Tented Camp

As I stated earlier, I spent one night at the Enkorok Tented Camp and one night at the Miti Mingi Eco Camp. I thoroughly enjoyed the Enkorok Tented Camp and my stay in the Simba tent. Each tent was named and had multiple beds with mosquito nets. The tents had electricity that was available for 24 hours, as well as a shower and toilet. I felt that the Enkorok Tented Camp was very similar to a standard hotel room.

The shower at the Ekorok Tented Camp had good shower pressure and plenty of hot water. To get hot water, I had to let the shower run for about five minutes. Next to the shower was a cabinet and sink, and there were plenty of towels.

The Enkorok Tented Camp also had a flush toilet inside my tent that was very clean.

The night I stayed at the Enkorok Tented Camp was Christmas Eve, and dinner was served buffet style. Dinner included rice, noodles, potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and grilled steak. I thought this meal was excellent, and throughout the meal, one of the Maasai sang Christmas carols while playing the guitar.

Accommodations at Maasai Mara - Miti Mingi Eco Camp

The next night I stayed at the Miti Mingi Eco Camp. This camp was a budget camp and was not nearly as enjoyable. One of my biggest complaints about this camp is that the tents were all within a few feet of each other. My neighbors were quite loud throughout the night, which made it tough to sleep.

Also, the plumbing in my tent leaked, which meant I had to walk through a few inches of water to use the toilet. I did not take any photos of my accommodations at the Miti Mingi Eco Camp but picture a small gray tent with two beds and a shower and toilet.

I did enjoy the meals at the Miti Mingi Eco Camp, which were cooked by Bencia Africa Adventure Safari’s chef John. Below are photos of dinner and breakfast. Most of the visitors at Miti Mingi Eco Camp ate from a community buffet. Many of them came over and wanted to eat our food which was expertly prepared by Chef John.

I really enjoyed the Bencia Africa Adventure Safari van. In addition to the front seats, the van had three rows of seats. With only five passengers, everyone had their own window. The windows slid open, and the pop-up top allowed us an undisturbed view of the Maasai Mara animals.

My only complaint about the Bencia Africa Adventure Safari van is that it did overheat on the way to Maasai Mara National Reserve. That being said, it seemed like many of the vehicles overheated on the hill, and George, our guide, quickly took care of the problem.

The photo below (not our van) shows how the pop-up top makes it easy to view the animals. All five of us could stand and comfortably view the wildlife at the same time.

Many companies use modified Toyota Land Cruisers instead of vans. I thought our van worked fine for our safari. Throughout the safari, we had plenty of room and great views of the animals of Maasai Mara. I am not sure if Bencia Africa Adventure Safari uses Land Cruisers on some of their packages.

Bencia Africa Adventure Safari - My Experience at Maasai Mara National Reserve

The highlight of my three-day Maasai Mara Safari with Bencia Africa Adventure Safari was the second day. We spent 12 full hours inside Maasai Mara National Reserve, which included a stop for lunch that had been expertly prepared by Chef John.

Our guide George did everything he could to put us in the position to see as many different types of animals as possible. George had a CB radio, where he was in contact with other guides. This communication helped us know where the active animals were.

George and Bencia Africa Adventure Safari had stated that they couldn’t promise we would see lions and cheetahs. Within two hours of arriving at Maasai Mara, we saw a pride of lions on the prowl. George stated that this was “very rare.”

One of the things that I liked best about George and Bencia Africa Adventure Safari is that they followed the rules and didn’t harass the animals. George put us in a position to get stunning photos but never once did I feel we were bothering the wildlife. Many of the other guides drove at the wildlife in an attempt to get them to run or move around.

I can assure you that from my experience Bencia Africa Adventure Safari is a reputable company that cares about its customers and the safety of the beautiful animals.

Sometimes during our Maasai Mara National Reserve safari, we had to wait our turn. In the photo below, a lion was sleeping under a tree. While some vehicles would try to jump the line, George had us wait our turn. I appreciated his professionalism as I believe everyone should have a fair chance to see the wildlife.

As we were driving in search of elephants, I asked George how close we were to Tanzania. I had just looked at my map, and it appeared we were within a few miles of the border. George said that we could go to the border and that I could walk into Tanzania. It was fun to be able to technically add another country to my list of places I have visited.

After the Kenya/Tanzania border, we drove to the Mara River. This stop would be where we would eat our lunch.

We also had a chance to go on a 30-minute guided hike around the banks of the river. This hike was the only part of the safari that wasn’t included in the initial cost. I tipped the guide 1,000 Kenyan Schillings ($8) to guide us. The guide was an armed park ranger who was prepared to keep us safe if any animals threatened us.

During my time touring with Bencia Africa Adventure Safari, I saw the following animals: lions, cheetahs, hippos, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, baboons, Cape or African buffalo, hyenas, impala, gazelles, topi, ostriches, crocodiles, warthogs, mongoose, and a variety of birds. The only animals that we didn’t see were leopards and rhinos. George stated that both of those were extremely rare.

On the final day, before we left to return to Nairobi, we had a chance to visit a Maasai Village. The cost of the Maasai Village was an additional 2,000 Keynan Schillings ($16). Visiting the village was a unique experience as I got to learn about Maasai society and witness the Maasai perform a ceremonial dance. At the end of the dance, I was invited to join in, which I did. I am not a good dancer, so this was definitely outside my comfort zone.

I recommend adding the Maasai Village as it is not that expensive, and the entire tour only lasts around 30 minutes. The Maasai tribe that I visited runs the Miti Mingi Eco Camp, and I was happy to support them financially and learn about their culture.

We had an opportunity to go to safari with Bencia for 8 days , the safari was enjoyable and we are grateful and encourage him to maintain the same service even to others. We had an instant where we had to cancel our flight and come 5 days late and as promised Alfred mad all the arrangement that we don't missed our plan tour as per package. Also to note Ben was a god guide and was able to show us many places including the famous 'Nyama choma' venue where we enjoy the roasted meat with a brown 'ugali'. Amazing adventure!!

We booked four days Safari with Bencia (Masai Mara+Lake Nakuru) and the whole experience was really fascinating. Communication with the company was very easy, and safari experience was superb. Our driver was Joseph and our cook was John. We think It might be very difficult to find two people as good as them and as professional as them to travel around Kenia. Joseph did his best to show us all the animals in both Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru and John cooked for us delicious food and made us feel really special. He is so a nice man. Joseph is also so kind and friendly and tried to answer all questions we asked him. He is an amazing driver and the best at finding animals (we met the Big five!) Thank you very much Joseph and John. See you Soon Bencia!!!!

Fantastic safari with great staff for low budget

Bencia Africa is very professional, affordable, trustworthy and provides great service. Not only did we have a great time with them during the Safari itself, but they even picked us up from the bus stop in Nairobi to bring us to the Hotel one day before the Safari started. The team we went with was amazing. Our driver Joseph had eagle's eyes and saw every animal even from far away and made sure we can see it from up close. Also he had incredible driving skills and got us through every type of terrain. Thanks to him we got to see so many animals with the best view! Also Bencia Africa provided our personal chef. John made delicious food, was caring for us, always friendly and smiling. All in all the Safari was a fantastic experience with much comfort for a rather low price. I would definitely recommend to book Safari with Bencia Africa.

We had the best 3 days. We did the budget friendly safari. The tents were nice and clean. The safari was beautifull. We saw a lot of animals close by. George was a really good guide, who learned us a lot about the wildlife. Everyday we had a delicious meal. We recommend doing the safari with bencia safari.

3 days Masai Mara safari

We recently embarked on a 3-day, 2-night trip to the Masai Mara together with my friends with this incredible company and I can confidently say that it was an unforgettable experience. What really made this safari stand out was the incredible luck we had in seeing the big five! Lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos - we saw them all! The food was simply divine! The cook was a culinary wizard and the meals he whipped up were nothing short of spectacular. Our guide, Joseph, was an absolute superstar! His knowledge of the Masai Mara and its inhabitants was second to none and he went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best possible safari experience. He was friendly, informative, and his passion for wildlife was infectious. The tents were fantastic. They were spacious, comfortable, and had all the amenities you could need. I can't recommend Bencia Africa Adventure and Safaris enough. From the food to the wildlife to the guide to the accommodation, everything was top-notch.

The driver guide was Peter,quite friendly, loving, knowledgeable and competent. He really made the Trip exciting. Excellence Services

We had an opportunity to go to safari with Bencia for 8 days , the safari was enjoyable and we are grateful and encourage him to maintain the same service even to others. We had an instant where we had to cancel our flight and come 5 days late and as promised Alfred mad all the arrangement that we don't missed our plan tour as per package. Also to note Ben was a god guide and was able to show us many places including the famous 'Nyama choma' venue where we enjoy the roasted meat with a brown 'ugali'. We are also grateful for Charles and the two ladies in the office who made our work and plan perfect. We can not fail to recommend this firm and for anybody who want to work with trusted company for Kenya safaris.
