This is one of my go to spots when I have to go number two. The bathrooms are big and have a few stalls and several urinals to tinkle in. The size of the facilities is easily able to handle to flow (no pun intended this time) and there is never a wait. Toilet Man scoring scale- 5 pts max each category added then divided by 4 = yelps score. 1. Cleanliness & Dump-a-bility: When the road poo is in full brew and you pull in to drop a # 2 this place is typically clean so go ahead and empty your spleen (you know what I mean). 4.5 2. Washing up & Supplies: motion detecting sinks are my top choice and this place has them. Hands free paper towels another big plus! Soap was full. 5.0 3. Ambience & Changing tables & practicality: Good lighting you can see where you pee. Also have a changing table for the young ones. The restroom door opens out which is a big plus I don't have to put my hand on a dirty pee soaked door handle to get out. 4.5 4. Location- ins & outs: Parking is easy and the place is busy so no guilt into buying something or asking for a germ laden bathroom key. The restroom is located in the back of the store not outside around the back behind a rapey dumpster. 5.0 Overall - 19 out of 20 for a solid I-5 location to drop your solid off. I'll review again when I'm so moved. Rest assured lonely I-5 traveler this place will keep the seat warm for yah!

What can I say- reasonably priced gasoline ($1 less per gallon than the 76 and chevron next door). There are relatively clean bathrooms (just follow the trail of people coming in and out the door) and there's an Arby's attached to the building if you've got a craving for something hot. Plus, if you need seasonal clothes or accessories like gloves, hats, sunglasses, you're in good hands :-)

This place always has great prices on gas. They have tons of items that like any other truckstop would have. Overall I would go here again I've only stopped here three or four times so far but will continue to go here since I had such a horrible experience across the street at the pilot.

We love stopping at Loves but this last time bathrooms were very dirty. We will still stop here when we go by but hope the attention to bathrooms is better.

Loves is a gas station with a clean mini-market contains an Arby's. The location is clean. Between Love's and Countryside acids the street this location is a great stop for travelers that is less busy than Grapevine about 30 minutes away.

Anytime we head down to southern cali, this is always a bathroom stop for us. Cleaner than most truck stops and they always have snacks on sale or else it is really marked up, but its a gas station stop so i get it. There's an arby attached to it if anyone likes Arby's.

Cheapest gas on the I-5 going between LA and the Bay Area/Sac. Coming down to LA, I always just barely make it here on one tank, and then fill up for the rest of my ride. Perks of this travel stop is that the parking lot is huge (lots of cars come through), gas is cheap, there's tons of restrooms, and a big store of road trip snacks, coffee, and energy drinks. Restrooms used to be cleaner, but lately have become dirtier. Still, it's great to have 5+ stalls for the women alone -- you rarely find that! They also sell random clothes if you happen to find yourself not clothed, and are attached to an Arby's. My fave stop on the road for the convenience!

Cheap gas, warm store, clean restrooms...as good as it gets. At least in the middle of nowhere. I spend a whole lot of time driving up and down the 5 freeway between NorCal and Los Angeles. One of the pitfalls of that drive is the sparse nature of the businesses that line the route. You are lucky to find a gas station and restaurant every 30 or 40 miles. It is really hit or miss on the price of gas...it will either be cheaper than the big cities or 20 percent more expensive...it just all depends on the exit you take. That is why I love stopping here at this Love's. They have gas that is among the lowest price on the whole drive and the whole location itself is a pleasure to use. When it was freezing outside the store itself was nice and toasty warm. Last time I stopped here it was 2am and the person working inside the store greeted me with an enthusiastic "Good morning!". The restrooms are wayyyy better than stopping at a nasty public rest stop...they keep them up very well. There is an Arby's inside the store and a Jack in the Box right next door so not only can you get gas on the cheap but you can also get some food for your journey. I highly recommend this as a stop on your drive up or down the 5 freeway. It is nice to find something so nice while out and about on a long...boring drive. :0)

Clean restrooms!

Driving down the endless strip of pavement referred to as the "Interstate 5", Love's station appears amidst the dusty gravel like a mirage. A mirage with 4 red, orange, and yellow hearts. I LOVE Love's Travel Stop. It's really the only place I go to for my one-stop shop to fill up on gas, take a bathroom break, grab a snack as I head to and fro Northern California and Southern California. It's great to fill up right before hitting the Grapevine area (or after). The motto of this family owned chain is "Clean Places, Friendly Faces." Anyone who has feared stepping into a random gas station bathroom will appreciate Love's clean facilities. I also discovered on my drive today that they also have 5 shower stalls available! I guess for those long distance drivers who could use a cold "pick me up" shower? That's still pretty awesome. In addition to having your standard station goodies of candy, drinks, snacks, coffee, Love's has also been consistent with maintaining the lowest average rate for gasoline prices. Forget Shell, 76, or Chevron; make Love's your car's new pump companion! If not for any of the above mentioned reasons, how can anyone resist a gas station that has HEARTS as its logo?
