Stockholm currently has three major bus tour operators. Strömma and Red Sightseeing both offer "Hop on, Hop off"-tours. In other words, visitors join the tour for as long as they like and can choose to disembark from the bus at any of its stops. Ocean Bus , on the other hand, has a set route for their amphibian bus tours. The tour lasts about 60 minutes and you'll see the central parts of town both from land and the water.

Stockholm City Canal Tour– Boat Sightseeing

Do you want to know that little extra about Stockholm? Then Stockholm City Canal Tour is something for you. The trip goes with M/S Delfin III from Klara Mälarstrand next to the City Hall via open water and narrow canals around the Kungsholmen district. During the 55-minute sightseeing tour, you will learn more about the places, houses, and neighborhoods that you pass. The tour is guided in Swedish and English via an app that you download to your mobile phone. Remember to bring your own headphones and have a fully charged mobile phone.

Hop On-Hop Off Bus in Stockholm

Discover Stockholm at your own pace with our Hop On-Hop Off buses. You can get on and off the bus as many times as you like during the 24 hours the ticket is valid. If you want, you can choose to go the whole trip. It takes about 100 minutes. The buses depart from the Royal Opera House and stop at around 20 places around Stockholm - at the most popular places and sights. On board, you listen to the pre-recorded guidance available in 11 different languages.

What is the accessibility like on the Stockholm City Canal Tour?

This tour is not wheelchair accessible. There are five steps to enter the boat. Wooden benches with seat cushions. Three persons per bench.

What is the accessibility like on the Hop On-Hop Off with bus?

Most of our buses are equipped with a ramp for persons in wheelchairs. One wheelchair per bus can be safely fastened and there is an audio guide outlet next to it. More wheelchairs can be folded and fastened as passenger move to a regular seat.

Can I bring my pet on board the sightseeing boat?

Yes, dogs that can be kept in owner’s lap throughout the tour are welcome on board. Please sit the back of the boat. Due to lack of space it is not possible to keep your dog on the floor under your seat or in the gangway.
