Photostop di WATER VILLAGE, ISTANA NURUL IMAN & JAME ASR HASSANIL BOLKIAH MOSQUE Setelah makan malam kita akan Shopping di GADONG NIGHT MARKET . Sampai waktunya kita akan kembali ke bandara untuk penerbangan ke Narita

Day 02 : ARRIVAL NARITA – KAWAGUCHIKO (Makan Siang, Makan Malam) Sesampainya di Narita , kita akan menuju ke Kawaguchi. Dilanjutkan menuju MT. FUJI (level-5), yang sangat terkenal akan keindahannya (jika cuaca memungkinkan) lalu kita akan mengunjungi OSHINO HAKAI salah satu mata air di kaki gunung fuji dan pemandangannya sangat indah , setelah itu akan diantar ke hotel , lalu makan malam dengan menggunakan pakaian tidur Jepang (YUKATA DINNER). Day 03 : KAWAGUCHI – TOKYO (Makan pagi, Makan Siang) Setelah Sarapan Pagi,kita akan langsung menuju GOTEMBA PREMIUM OUTLET yang menjual seperti brand” Seiko, Oakley, Burberry dll. Setelah itu akan mengunjungi daerah SHINJUKU salah satu pusat perniagaan dan pemerintahan sekaligus lokasi salah satu stasiun pergantian (interchange) transportasi umum terbesar di Tokyo,dan dilanjutkan ke HARAJUKU FASHION STREET sebuah kawasan yang dikenal dengan budaya fesyen jalanannya yang eksentrik disana, anda bisa berbelanja pakaian dan banyak kuliner sepanjang jalan .Setelah selesai kita akan menuju ke hotel untuk beristirahat. Day 04 : TOKYO CITY TOUR (Makan Pagi, Makan Siang) Setelah Sarapan Pagi,kita akan langsung menuju Asakusa Kannon Temple salah satu kuil yang terkenal di Jepang, dilanjutkan mengunjungi Nakamise Street untuk berbelanja souvernir khas jepang, Setelah selesai kita akan mengunjungi TOKYO SKYTREE (PHOTOSTOP) selanjutnya kita akan menuju Ginza untuk berbelanja. Setelah itu akan mengunjungi ODAIBA DIVER CITY yang terkenal dengan patung gundam raksasa. Setelah selesai kita akan menuju ke hotel untuk beristirahat. HOTEL : APA HOTEL *3 / SIMILAR.

Day 05 : NARITA – JAKARTA x- BRUNEI DARUSSALAM (Makan pagi) NRT (1145) – BWN (1645) Setelah Sarapan pagi di hotel, kita langsung menuju Narita International Airport untuk kembali ke Jakarta transit Brunei Darussalam. Anda dapat mengambil Optional tour brunei saat menunggu penerbangan selanjutnya.

New Year in Japan 2023 Tokyo – Mt.Fuji – Disneyland

Yuk ikut merayakan tahun baru di Jepang! Minasan akan kami ajak untuk berkeliling Tokyo, menikmati Disneyland, hingga gunung Fuji. Berikut kami rangkum destinasi wisata apa saja yang wajib Minnasan kunjungi saat pergantian tahun.

1.SENSOJI TEMPLE

Penduduk Jepang selalu menghabiskan malam tahun baru di kuil, dengan berdoa meminta keberuntungan untuk tahun berikutnya. Lalu, saat detik – detik pergantian tahun, lonceng besar akan dipukul sebanyak 108 kali sebagai penanda bergantinya hari dan meninggalkan tahun yang lama. Tradisi ini disebut Jyoya no Kane. Minasan dapat berpartisipasi dalam peraayan ini di Sensoji Temple. Yaitu sebuah kuil tertua di Jepang yang terletak di Asakusa District.

Destinasi yang bisa menjadi pilihan Minasan berikutnya  untuk menghabiskan malam tahun baru adalah Shibuya. Shibuya juga dikenal sebagai kota yang menyajikan banyak hiburan malam. Oleh karena itu, tidak heran banyak orang yang pergi ke Shibuya pada malam hari untuk menghitung mundur pergantian tahun. Shibuya Crossing dan banyaknya tempat hiburan semakin memeriahkan suasana Tahun Baru.

Tradisi unik Jepang lainnya ketika merayakan tahun baru adalah dengan berbondong – bondong datang ke dataran tinggi seperti gunung Fuji dan sekitarnya untuk menyaksikan fajar pertama di awal tahun yang dsebut Hatsuhinode. Orang Jepang percaya, Hatsuhinode adalah saat dimana Dewa Toshigami atau dewa keberuntungan datang ke bumi. Saat menyaksikan fajar pertama inilah orang Jepang memanjatkan doa – doa untuk keberuntungan tahun itu.

4. DISNEYLAND

Tahun baru tidak lengkap rasanya jika belum menyaksikan kembang api. Di negara kita, Indonesia, setiap malam pergantian tahun, akan dinyalakan kembang api di semua sudut kota.  Nah, di Disneyland  kita bisa menyaksikan kembang api yang fantastis ala Disney saat menjelang malam pergantian tahun.

Day 2 | Fuji Kawaguchiko Tour

Sebelum Fuji Tour, pastikan Anda sarapan pagi terlebih dahulu, Tim Private car kami sudah siap menunggu jam 8 pagi di Lobby Hotel, Karena kita akan memulai Fuji Tour dari Tokyo.

Dari Tokyo kita menuju ke Iyashino Sato, untuk melihat keindahan rumah traditional pertanian di Jepang.

Anda juga bisa menyewa Kimono dan pakaian samura untuk foto dengan background Mount Fuji.

Dari Iyashino Sato kami akan mengantarkan Anda ke Lake Fuji Kawaguchiko untuk menikmati makan siang, sembari melihat keindahan Lake Kawaguchiko dan Mount Fuji.

Setelah itu kami akan mengantarkan Anda untuk berbelanja barang branded dan premium di Gotemba Premium Outlet.

Dari Gotemba Premium Outlet kita kembali ke Tokyo.

Anda bisa Dinner di sekitaran Hotel.

Day 3 | Disney Resort

Untuk Tour hari ke 3 kali ini, Anda akan full day di Disney Resort.

Anda akan ditemani Tim Tour Guide kami, dari Hotel ke Maihama Station.

Anda bisa menikmati wahana yang ada di dalam Disney Land / Disney Sea Resort hingga jam 20:00 malam.

Setelah itu, Tim Tour Guide kami akan mengantarkan Anda kembali ke Hotel.

Day 4 | Osaka

Pagi hari setelah Anda breakfast, Anda bisa check out hotel terlebih dahulu, Kemudian Tim wisata Jepang akan mengantarkan Anda ke Tokyo Station.

Dari Tokyo Station, kami akan mengantarkan Anda Ke Shin Osaka Station dengan Shinkansen.

dengan hampir jarak 500Km, Anda hanya memerukan waktu 2,5 jam perjalanan dari Tokyo Station ke Shin Osaka Station.

Anda bisa lunch terlebih dahulu baik itu dalam kereta dengan Bento, maupun di Shin Osaka Station.

Setelah itu kami, akan mengantarkan Anda ke Osaka Castle untuk sighseeing.

dalam area Osaka Castle Anda bisa menikmati Takoyaki paling enak di Jepang.

Dari Osaka Castle, kami akan mengantarkan Anda untuk Check In di Hotel.

Selanjutnya Anda bisa istirahat sedentary di dalam Hotel.

Sembari mencari dinner dinner kami akan mengajak Anda untuk jalan – jalan sambil belanja di Shinsaibashi Area.

Day 5 | Fullday USJ

Pagi hari Tim Tour Guide Wisata Jepang sudah stand by di lobby hotel, setelah Anda breakfast, kami akan mengantarkan Anda ke Universal Studio Japan.

Anda bisa full day menikmati wahana yang ada di Universal Studio Japan.

Malam hari sekitar pukul 20:00 kami akan mengantarkan Anda kembali ke Hotel untuk Istirahat.

Day 6 | Kyoto – Tokyo

Setelah Anda breakfast di Pagi hari, Anda bisa check out hotel terlebih dahulu, kemudian, kami akan mengantarkan Anda beserta family Anda ke Kyoto untuk Kyoto City tour.

Kita akan mengunjungi Fushimi Inari Taisha, yang merupakan kuil seribu gerbang.

Kemudian dari Fushimi Inari Taisha kita menuju ke Kyomizudera, di Kyomizudera Anda akan menemukan kehidupan Kyoto dengan bangunan seperti zaman Edo.

Selain itu Anda juga akan kami ajak untuk berbelanja di Gion District yang penuh dengan berbagai cinderamata khas Kyoto.

untuk Lunch kami akan mengantarkan Anda ke restaurant dekat dengan Gion District.

Dari Gion District kemudian kami mengantarkan Anda ke Kyoto Station untuk kembali ke Tokyo dengan menggunakan Shinkansen.

Dari Tokyo Station Anda akan antarkan ke hotel untuk check in. Untuk dinner bisa di Tokyo Station area atau di Restaurant sekitar Hotel.

Day 7 | Tokyo City Tour

Pagi hari setelah Anda Breakfast, Tim Wisata Jepang sudah stand by di lobby hotel.

Kami Akan mengajak Anda untuk mengunjungi Asakusa untuk melihat keindahan Sensoji Temple.

Dari Asakusa kita mampir sejenak di Tsukiji Market untuk menikmati Sushi yang fresh di Sushi Restaurant.

Setelah Anda lunch, kemudian Tim Wisata Jepang akan mengantarkan Anda untuk belanja pernak pernik di Takeshita Street di dekat Harajuku Station.

Kemudian dari Takeshita Street Anda akan kami ajak mengunjungi Shibuya Crossing untuk melihat ramainya pejalan kaki dan mengunjungi situs Hachiko / Hachiko Statue.

Untuk dinner, kami akan mengajak ke Omotesando untuk menikmati gyukatsu yang lezat dan bergizi.

Day 8 | Airport Transfer, Back To Indonesia

Hari ini adalah hari terakhir Anda di Jepang mengikuti Private Tour Golden Route 8 Hari.

Kami akan mengantarkan Anda ke Narita / Haneda International Airport dari Tokyo.

Hari Pertama

Hari pertama akan dimulai dengan keberangkatan dari Indonesia ke Jepang. 

Setibanya di Jepang, tim kami akan menjemput Anda untuk menuju ke hotel. Setelah itu, kami akan membawa Anda ke daerah Asakusa untuk mengunjungi Sensoji Temple, Nakamise Street, dan Tokyo Skytree.

Hari Ketiga

Di hari ketiga ini Anda akan menikmati keindahan Gunung Fuji dengan mengunjungi beberapa tempat wisata di sekitarnya seperti Kawaguchiko Lake dan Iyashi No Sato. Selain itu Anda juga bisa mengunjungi Kachi Kachi Ropeway dimana terdapat observatory sehingga Anda dapat menikmati keindahan Gunung Fuji, Kawaguchiko Lake, dan Kota Yamanashi dari atas bukit Kachi Kachi.

Hari Keempat

Hari ini Anda akan mengunjungi Tsukiji Fish Market, Odaiba, dan Shibuya yang terkenal dengan Shibuya Crossing, patung Hachiko, dan pusat perbelanjaan.

Hari Kelima

Hari ini adalah Freetime, dimana Anda bebas memilih tujuan wisata yang Anda inginkan. Sebagai contohnya Anda bisa memilih Disneyland atau Disneysea, kami lebih merekomendasikan Disneysea karena wahana ini hanya ada di Jepang. Selain itu Anda juga bisa mengunjungi daerah wisata ternama seperti Akihabara, Ginza, dan Shinjuku. Anda juga bisa mengikuti one-day trip kami jika ingin mengunjungi Hakone, Gotemba, Ibaraki, Yokohama, Kyoto atau Osaka.

Hari Keenam

DI hari terakhir ini, tim kami akan mengantar Anda menuju ke bandara untuk kembali ke Indonesia.

Objek Wisata Paket Tour 6D5N Musim Panas Jepang – Agustus 2023

Asakusa merupakan salah satu wilayah di Distrik Taito, Tokyo. Asakusa kental dengan nuansa tradisional meskipun berada di kota Tokyo. Sensoji Temple merupakan daya tarik utama di Asakusa. Di sini Anda bisa melihat Kaminarimon Gate di bagian terdepan, kemudian ada Hozomon Gate, dan Sensoji Temple berada di bagian paling belakang. Sepanjang jalan menuju Sensoji, terdapat Nakamise Street yang merupakan salah satu perbelanjaan tertua di Jepang. Di Nakamise Street Anda bisa membeli berbagai souvenir berupa pernak-pernik atau makanan khas Jepang. 

Tokyo Skytree

Tokyo Skytree adalah menara tertinggi di Jepang dengan ketinggian 634 meter. Menara ini digunakan sebagai pemancar sinyal siaran digital. Di sini juga ada restoran dan observation deck. Bagi Anda yang ingin menikmati pemandangan Kota Tokyo dilihat dari atas, sangat direkomendasikan untuk mengunjungi observation deck Tokyo Skytree. Namun, meskipun tidak naik ke observation deck Anda masih bisa menikmati kemegahan menara ini meskipun dari bawah.

Iyashi no Sato

Iyashi no Sato merupakan wisata desa petani tradisional Jepang yang terletak di sebelah barat Danau Saiko. Desa ini termasuk salah satu desa tradisional terkenal di Jepang selain Shirakawago di Gifu dan Baso no Mura di Chiba. Terdapat lebih dari dua puluh rumah tradisional yang diubah sebagai toko, restoran, dan galeri. Di beberapa toko kerajinan tangan mereka menyediakan layanan workshop untuk pengunjung untuk mencoba membuat produk kerajinan tradisional seperti kertas washi, arang, dan mie soba.

Beberapa rumah lain digunakan sebagai museum, seperti Watanabe House yang memamerkan kehidupan para petani masa lampau di desa ini. Ada juga rumah-rumah lain yang digunakan sebagai pameran karya seni warga lokal dan studio foto dimana pengunjung bisa mencoba memakai kimono atau atribut samurai dengan harga murah dan berfoto. Restoran dan tempat beristirahat juga bisa ditemukan di wilayah ini.

Kawaguchi Lake

Kawaguchi Lake adalah salah satu dari lima danau yang ada di kaki Gunung Fuji. Danau ini sangat terkenal selain karena merupakan danau di kaki Gunung Fuji yang paling mudah untuk dikunjungi, tapi juga merupakan danau terbesar kedua setelah Danau Yamanaka.

Pemandangan Gunung Fuji di danau ini selalu indah dan memiliki keunikan tersendiri di setiap musim. Di musim panas Anda dapat melihat Gunung Fuji dengan jelas dan pantulannya yang indah di permukaan air Kawaguchiko Lake.

Hutan Aokigahara

Hutan Aokigahara terletak di sebelah barat laut Gunung Fuji yang membentang dari Kota Kawaguchiko hingga Desa Narizawa, Prefektur Yamanashi. Aokigahara juga dikenal sebagai “Jukai” yang berarti The Sea of Trees karena luasnya wilayah dan banyaknya pohon yang ada di hutan ini.

Kachi Kachi Ropeway

Kachi Kachi Ropeway merupakan kereta gantung yang sudah dirancang agar pengunjung dapat menikmati pemandangan indah dari Kawaguchiko Lake dan Gunung Fuji selama kereta naik menuju ke atas Bukit Kachi Kachi. 

Selain kereta gantung, banyak pengunjung dapat menuruni bukit Kachi-Kachi melalu jalur pendakian. Selain itu ada juga jalur pendakian untuk naik lagi 300 meter dari Bukit Kachi Kachi menuju puncak sebuah kuil di puncak Gunung Tenjo. Dari situ, jalur pendakian berlanjut ke Gunung Mitsutoge yang merupakan destinasi pendakian populer dengan pemandangan Gunung Fuji yang indah.

Tsukiji Fish Market

Pasar ikan tradisional terbesar di Jepang ini bisa menjadi surganya pecinta ikan. Pasar ini sebenarnya tak hanya menjual berbagai macam ikan saja, namun di sana juga menjual buah-buahan dan sayur mayur. Bagi Anda pecinta hidangan ikan, wajib untuk datang ke pasar ikan ini untuk menjajal berbagai macam kulinernya!

Odaiba merupakan pulau buatan manusia di Teluk Tokyo. Pada zaman Edo, pulau buatan manusia ini dibentuk sebagai benteng (daiba=benteng) untuk melindungi Kota Tokyo dari serangan laut. Ratusan tahun berikutnya, pulau-pulau kecil di Teluk Tokyo ini digabungkan dengan pelebaran daratan besar-besaran, dan perencanaan besar-besaran untuk mengubah wilayah ini menjadi daerah yang futuristik pun dimulai.

Salah satu daya tarik di Odaiba adalah adanya patung Gundam raksasa yang terletak di depan DiverCity Tokyo Plaza. Gundam merupakan salah satu serial anime terkenal dari Jepang, dan keberadaannya di Odaiba ini memberi kesan robot ini berdiri untuk menjaga keamanan dan kedamaian Odaiba. 

Belum lengkap jika pergi ke Tokyo tapi tidak mengunjungi daerah Shibuya. Selain Shibuya Crossing yang  memperlihatkan betapa sibuknya lalu-lalang di kota ini, di sini juga terdapat banyak toko yang menjual berbagai macam hal dari fashion, kosmetik, kuliner, dan sebagainya. Hal yang tak boleh dilewatkan lainnya adalah adanya patung Hachiko, yang sangat terkenal dengan kisah kesetiaannya menunggu sang pemilik pulang. 

Tokyo Disneyland dan Disneysea

Tokyo Disneyland dan Disneysea merupakan salah satu taman bermain terfavorit di Jepang. Lokasinya strategis dan mudah dijangkau dari Tokyo. Ada berbagai wahana permainan yang bisa dicoba, selain itu juga ada parade dari karakter-karakter Walt Disney yang bisa Anda saksikan.

Berbagai wahana yang bisa Anda kunjungi di Disneyland antara lain adalah Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, Pooh’s Honey Hunt, Mickey’s PhilharMagic, Space Mountain, dan lain sebagainya. Sedangkan di Disneysea Anda bisa mengunjungi Venetian Gondolas, The Leonardo Challenge, Turtle Talk, Toy Story Mania, Indiana Jones Adventure, dan masih banyak lainnya.

Disney Pal-Palooza “Minnie’s Funderland” – The winter seasonal event in honor of Minnie Mouse takes place now through March 19, 2024 at Tokyo Disneyland. With “Minnie’s Funderland,” guests and their friends are invited to enjoy Minnie Mouse’s fantasy-filled dream world, brimming with her favorite things, where the Park is transformed into a land of cuteness and fun.

A new parade, “Minnie @Funderland,” themed to the colorful and slightly fantastical world that comes straight from Minnie Mouse’s imagination, features Minnie and her friends in adorable attire.

Toy Story Hotel – We’ll start outside our tour of what’s new at Tokyo Disney Resort outside the parks. Across from Bayside Station, nestled between the Hilton Tokyo Bay and Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay is the Toy Story Hotel. As the name suggests, this brings to life the world of toys and shrinks guests down to become “honorary toys” to take part in the fun that Andy has assembled. In essence, this means a lot of larger-than-life play figures around the hotel.

Toy Story Hotel is a moderate monorail loop resort with 595 guest rooms–575 standard rooms and 20 superior rooms. The guest rooms are inspired by Andy’s bedroom, and there are a range of other fun toy-themed amenities at Toy Story Hotel. With that said, it’s definitely positioned below Hotel MiraCosta and Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, both of which remain the gold standard at Tokyo Disney Resort, and worldwide. Tokyo Disneyland Expansion – Next up is the Tokyo Disneyland large scale expansion project, which was the blockbuster addition planned ahead of the Tokyo Summer Olympics. Just as that event didn’t happen as planned, so too did this expansion not have a big grand opening. Instead, it quietly debuted without any fanfare.

The is essentially Tokyo’s New Fantasyland…but all Beauty and the Beast! This area stretches from Belle’s Village to the secluded forest home to Beast’s Castle. In the village is La Taverne de Gaston restaurant and Village Shoppes line the street.

Belle’s Village – This trio of shops consists of La Belle Librairie, Little Town Traders and Bonjour Gifts. These stores feature many details from the film, including the rolling ladder to reach books on the high shelves and Belle’s favorite book. They’ll carry hand-made toys, candlesticks, dish-ware, books, dresses, and other clothing.

La Taverne de Gaston – This is a counter service restaurant, similar to Gaston’s Tavern in Magic Kingdom. The menu is different, with a bunch of meat-stuffed pastries ( best of both worlds!) and a soft drink version of Gaston’s favorite brew.

LeFou’s & Le Petit Popper – Next door to the taverne is LeFou’s, which is a small snack shop window that serves apple-caramel churros, a new flavor for Tokyo Disneyland. Le Petit Popper is also in this area, and is a wagon in village where Belle lives that serves up fresh popcorn.

Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast – Leaving the village behind, guests enter the forest and approach Beast’s Castle. Inside is the Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast, the expansion’s flagship attraction. This trackless dark ride features magical cups that “dance” in rhythm to the animated film’s music as they take guests through scenes depicting the story of Belle and the Beast.

We’ve now had the chance to do Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast several times (along with everything else on this ‘new’ list, for that matter) and it’s exceptional. It doesn’t  quite  enter the elite tier of attractions around the world, but it’s definitely in the top 20 for both of us. There are some truly remarkable effects, show scenes, and the queue and Beast’s Castle are absolutely stunning. Do not miss it!

Fantasyland Forest Theatre – Nestled in its own secluded setting straight out of a fairytale, this is the first indoor theater at Tokyo Disneyland. (It’s the indirect replacement for Showbase, which is between Space Mountain and Star Tours: the Adventures Continue.)

Both the exterior and interior design of this theater were inspired by the forest, with half-timbers, tree forms, and pillars featuring in the design. The theater is decorated with beautiful tapestries, candle-inspired chandeliers, and murals celebrating the forest and the woodland critters from Disney animation.

Mickey’s Magical Music World – I’m not sure why I’ve made this a separate entry, but Mickey’s Magical Music World is the Tokyo Disneyland original musical production inside Fantasyland Forest Theatre. The stage show features Mickey Mouse and friends in a spectacular performance of music and dance that makes full use of the theater’s large-scale stage sets and effects.

The conceit here is that Mickey Mouse and friends discover a music box deep in the forest. They turn the music box’s large golden key and doors suddenly open. That begins (what sounds like) a montage musical featuring a slew of different characters and songs from various movies, as they search for a “lost song.”

The Happy Ride with Baymax – Opposite the Fantasyland additions in Tomorrowland is the Happy Ride with Baymax, which is the world’s first rotating ride attraction themed to Big Hero 6 (released in Japan as Baymax ). Hiro Hamada and his robotic personal healthcare companion Baymax developed this wild, musical ride that is sure to make everyone happy–which is the first step to healthiness.

As Hiro’s favorite up-tempo music plays, guests aboard vehicles pulled by Baymax’s nursebot friends can enjoy being whirled around in unexpected ways. A device on the attraction’s ceiling “scans” the guests with lights to measure their happiness while on the ride. This is a straightforward flat ride, but hopefully it’s a surprisingly delightful one that overachieves (a la Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree).

The Big Pop – Next door to the Happy Ride with Baymax in Tomorrowland is The Big Pop, a cosmic-themed shop specializing in popcorn. Hanging from the starry ceiling is a huge popcorn chandelier representing the “big bang” that created the universe. Large windows allow guests both inside and outside the shop to view the kitchen where the popcorn is being made and enjoy the aroma.

The Big Pop offers a variety of popcorn buckets that can be filled with a choice of three flavors of popcorn: Cookie & Cream, Caramel & Cheese, and Strawberry Milk.

Minnie’s Style Studio – For the first time at Tokyo Disneyland, guests can meet Minnie Mouse in her very own greeting facility. Minnie’s Style Studio is the aspect of the expansion located in Toontown, and although it’s only a meet & greet, it’s a plussed version.

As a world-renowned fashion designer, Minnie Mouse will greet guests while wearing her latest design, which will change each season. Decked out with a big, polka-dot bow, Minnie’s Style Studio is where she designs, creates and photographs her new fashions.

Tokyo Disneyland’s 40th Anniversary – Dubbed the “Dream-Go-Round” celebration, Tokyo Disneyland’s 40th Anniversary event is now underway and continues through March 31, 2024.

“Dream-Go-Round” represents the happy moments that countless guests have experienced throughout the years at Tokyo Disney Resort, “Where Dreams Come True.” During this commemorative year at Tokyo Disney Resort, the dreams of guests, Cast Members and characters come together to celebrate Tokyo Disneyland’s 40th Anniversary in grand fashion.

Disney Harmony in Color – Tokyo Disneyland’s 40th Anniversary new daytime parade features a harmonious world of vibrant colors. This replaced Dreaming Up, which debuted for the 35th Anniversary.

Harmony in Color kicks off with Tinker Bell, followed by many other characters from popular Walt Disney Animation Studios films such as Zootopia, Moana, Wreck-It Ralph, Coco, and more appearing on colorful floats full of fun. In the finale, Mickey Mouse and his friends appear, inviting guests to a world of colors and harmony.

Soaring: Fantastic Flight  – This hang-glider simulator ride offers a grandiose flight over some amazing locations around the globe. Soaring Fantastic Flight’s ride component is similar to Soarin’ in Walt Disney World and DCA, if you’re familiar with those. The video is identical, save for the finale.

The big difference here is the build-up to that: Soaring Fantastic Flight has an incredibly lavish queue and impressive new pre-show with its own unique storyline that makes a world of difference and has impressive effects. The video also has one scene swapped out, and a new finale that ends over Tokyo Disney Resort. It’s worth seeing even if you’ve experienced Soarin’ elsewhere.

Believe! Sea of Dreams – The new nighttime spectacular at Tokyo DisneySea is Believe! Sea of Dreams, which is performed once nightly in Mediterranean Harbor. This 30 minute long show is the permanent replacement for Fantasmic, and is a ~$70 million addition. Believe! Sea of Dreams offers paid reserved viewing, and is recommended on busy nights.

As the name suggests, this nighttime spectacular transforms Mediterranean Harbor into the Sea of Dreams—a place filled with “wishing stars.” Believe! Sea of Dreams features large boats gliding dynamically over the water’s surface, bright lasers and searchlights illuminating the night sky and projections on the walls of Hotel MiraCosta. The nighttime spectacular will feature dancers, plus characters such as Peter Pan, Wendy, Aladdin, Rapunzel, Miguel, Ariel, Moana, Elsa, and others.

Duffy and Friends’ Wonderful Friendship – A new stage show featuring Duffy and all of his friends has debuted at Cape Cod Cook-Off in Tokyo DisneySea. This show tells a heartwarming story of Duffy and his friends showing what friendship is about by working together to prepare for a party despite some obstacles.

“Duffy and Friends’ Wonderful Friendship” marks the first appearance of three of Duffy’s friends–CookieAnn the curious dog, ‘Olu Mel the music-loving turtle, and the fox LinaBell who enjoys solving mysteries—in a stage show where guests can enjoy the world of Duffy and his friends at Tokyo DisneySea.

So the good news is that Cape Cod Cook-Off is finally  have a show back after “My Friend Duffy” ended with the closure of the parks. The bad news is that “Duffy and Friends’ Wonderful Friendship” is ticketed rather than free, with the Cape Cod Cook-Off First Prize Set plus reserved seating prices ranging from around $15 to $30. That may not seem too bad, but the food at Cape Cod Cook-Off is awful. On a positive note, the lines shouldn’t be as long now!

What’s Next in 2024

Celebrating Space Mountain: The Final Ignition! – The Space Mountain attraction, which has been a favorite of guests since the Grand Opening of Tokyo Disneyland, will be completely transformed and reopen in 2027. Guests can journey into space one last time with the current version of Space Mountain during this special event from April 9 to July 31, 2024.

Disney Pal-Palooza Spring Event – Tokyo Disney Resort has also revealed that the second Disney Pal-Palooza will be held from April 9 through June 30, 2024. That’s more or less the approximate timing of the Easter program that used to run at both Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea. It’s unclear as to whether Easter will also return for the first time since 2019 and occur simultaneous to this. It’s possible that Easter will happen just at Tokyo DisneySea, and along a different timeline to wrap up before Fantasy Springs opens.

Dreaming of Fantasy Springs Event – Before the Grand Opening of Fantasy Springs (starting April 9, 2024), Tokyo DisneySea will present “Dreaming of Fantasy Springs.” Featuring a harbor greeting, decorations, merchandise and menus all themed to the special event, “Dreaming of Fantasy Springs” will allow guests to imagine and gain a better grasp of the world of Fantasy Springs. Guests will be able to expand their imagination and begin dreaming of what kind of magical world awaits them at Fantasy Springs.

Tokyo DisneySea Food & Wine Festival – From April 1 through June 30, the 2024 Tokyo DisneySea Food & Wine Festival will feature creatively designed special courses, set meals and snacks that can be enjoyed on the go as well as delicious beverages for all ages. In 2024, the “Tokyo DisneySea Food & Wine Festival” inspired by the different ports of Tokyo DisneySea, including Fantasy Springs, will be offering specialty food and snacks from around the world. The event will also provide opportunities for guests to discover and learn facts about the cuisine offered, enhancing their culinary journey around the world.

Fantasy Springs  – At Tokyo DisneySea, the biggest construction project at any Disney theme park in the world is wrapping up after 5+ years. This blockbuster expansion will bring big-budget Frozen, Tangled, and Peter Pan attractions to the new Fantasy Springs port-of-call. In addition to the four rides, it’ll also offer a range of new restaurants and retail. (See Everything You Need to Know About Fantasy Springs at Tokyo DisneySea for all of the specifics.)

Fantasy Springs will open on June 6, 2024. It’s possible that a lengthy soft opening or paid previews will be held prior to that, possibly beginning sometime in May 2024.

Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel – The newest in-park luxury hotel at Tokyo Disney Resort will overlook Fantasy Springs and is being touted by OLC as the finest accommodations, even nicer than Hotel MiraCosta.

The hotel is located directly behind Bayside Station, meaning it’ll have convenient access (by monorail) to Tokyo Disneyland in addition to the immediate access to Fantasy Springs. This luxury hotel is boutique-sized, with under 500 rooms, two restaurants, and a lounge. Fantasy Springs Hotel also opens on June 6, 2024.

New Space Mountain  – Once the current phase of projects wraps up, Tokyo Disneyland will undertake a New Tomorrowland project that revolves around rebuilding Space Mountain .

That $437 million project has a big enough budget that has led to some speculation it’ll use the same ride system as Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. This won’t start until 2024 and won’t open until around 2027, so you could potentially time your visit to experience all of the above, plus old Space Mountain.

Summer Celebration – From July 2 through September 18, 2024, Tokyo Disney Resort will offer multiple “Get Soaked” experiences for guests to beat the summer heat. Splash Mountain “get soaked MAX” returns again, as does the “get soaked” version of Aquatopia at Tokyo DisneySea. At both parks, Cast Members will spray guests with cool mist in “Get Soaked Time.”

On the parade route, “Baymax’s Mission: Cool Down” will return, featuring Baymax the personal healthcare companion robot from the Disney Animation film Big Hero 6. Toontown also featured new summer-only Get Soaked spots, where guests can cool down and have fun together at the get soaked version of the land.

Last year, Tokyo DisneySea presented a limited time entertainment program from July 4 through September 6 in which Duffy and all of his six friends appear together on a boat at Mediterranean Harbor. It’s unknown whether a Duffy and Friends summertime program will be offered in 2024; we’d expect one given that it’s a great way to sell merchandise, but Fantasy Springs could change the equation.

Cinderella Castle Nighttime Spectacular  – An unnamed new castle projection show will debut at Tokyo Disneyland beginning September 20, 2024. This nighttime spectacular will be approximately 20 minutes long and presented 1-2 times per night. It’s the first such show since Celebrate Tokyo Disneyland (one of our all-time favorite nighttime spectaculars) in 2019, marking another step towards normalcy, slowly but surely.

This new nighttime entertainment at Cinderella Castle utilizes projection mapping technology, combined with lighting, pyrotechnics and special effects, bringing many of our beloved characters to life as they soar through the night sky in pursuit of their dreams. Memorable Disney music will be accompanied by dazzling imagery projected onto Cinderella Castle filling the night sky, allowing guests to feel as if they are soaring through the sky alongside the Disney friends.

The new Cinderella Castle projection show at Tokyo Disneyland will feature characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar films. Additionally, Marvel characters will be making their first-ever appearances in an entertainment program presented at Tokyo Disney Resort.

Disney Halloween  – From October 1 to November 7, 2024, Disney Halloween will be offered at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. There will be brand new theming at Tokyo Disneyland, and new entertainment and other programs will be presented.

Disney Christmas – Guests can celebrate a unique Disney-style Christmas from November 8 to December 25, 2024 at both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea during the special event, “Disney Christmas.” OLC did not mention new entertainment or anything with this announcement, but here’s hoping that’s just because it’s too early. The Christmas program at Tokyo Disneyland is (at least) 5 years overdue for replacement.

New Year’s Special Event – Both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea will hold a special event that can only be experienced during the New Year period from January 1 to 13, 2025. Disney friends dressed in colorful New Year’s outfits will greet guests, and merchandise and menu items themed to the New Year will welcome guests and usher them into the new year.

If you’re planning a once in a lifetime trip to Japan, the obvious advice is to wait until Fantasy Springs is finished before visiting. That’s definitely the smart move, especially if you are confident you’ll only ever visit once. One option would be arriving in late May and staying through the official opening of Fantasy Springs on June 6, 2024. If you’re into that sort of thing, that gives you the Grand Opening but also the potential of soft openings before that.

Another option is visiting in November 2024 for fall colors season and Christmas at Tokyo Disney Resort. This gives a few months for the initial fanfare of Fantasy Springs to die down, meaning that  hopefully  the entry process into the land and attractions will be easier. The park will definitely still be better, but the risk of getting shut out of Fantasy Springs is lower.

You could also visit for sakura season or in the lull leading up to June 2024. Yes, you’d miss Fantasy Springs with this approach, which doesn’t seem ideal. However, we don’t know anyone who has visited Japan or Tokyo Disney Resort once and called it quits. We took our “once in a lifetime” trip in 2013 and have visited every year since (except 2020-2021, for obvious reasons) spending multiple months in Japan on several occasions. After you visit and are immediately hooked, you’ll understand why.

There’s also the matter of exchange rates. The yen is hovering around its weakest levels since 1998. The strength of the dollar means greater purchasing power when traveling abroad, and to Japan in particular. Even if that weren’t the case, Tokyo Disney Resort doesn’t nickel and dime. Regular tickets are much more affordable ($55 to $65 for 1-day tickets), all seasonal entertainment is included in the price of normal admission, snacks are inexpensive, as is most merchandise. The only (very big) exception to this is Duffy & Friends–now  that  stuff is expensive. (We joke that Duffy subsidizes the rest of Tokyo Disney Resort, which may not be that far off!)

All of this will be a breath of fresh air for Walt Disney World fans who have become disillusioned with price increases, entertainment eliminated, and all the nickel & diming. A few years ago, we wrote “ Want to Recapture the Disney Magic? Visit Japan . ” That’s even more apt today than it was then.

Since then, Walt Disney World has made even more cuts, whereas TDR keeps adding. At Tokyo Disney Resort, you’ll enjoy multiple parades per day (including Dreamlights, Disney’s best night parade by far ), seasonal celebrations are included with admission, and prices are less expensive and more fair.

If you’re a Walt Disney World fan who has become disenchanted with the Florida parks, there is no better way to recapture that lost magic than by visiting Tokyo Disney Resort.  Seriously.  The only downside is that it’ll forever change the way you view every other theme park.

As might be obvious, we are TDR diehards. They’re our favorite parks in the world, and we cannot wait to return. In that regard, you might consider us a bit biased.

To that point, we’d love to hear from those who have previously been to Japan in the comments for the sake of a diversity of opinions. Please offer your honest assessment of whether Tokyo Disney Resort is worth revisiting or is a one and done, when you’re planning on going back–if at all–and anything else you might want to share!

Late 2024 is likely to be a lower time for tourism. Domestic pent-up demand is already starting to exhaust itself in Japan as travel subsidies have ended, and international tourism (aside from China) should start to do the same after the coming sakura and autumn foliage seasons. Or maybe not. We’ve underestimated the duration and intensity of revenge travel at the U.S. parks, and if Tokyo Disney Resort (and Japan) follow that same trajectory, it’s entirely possible that pent-up demand doesn’t fizzle out until sometime in 2025.

Moreover, Fantasy Springs will be massively popular when it debuts exacerbating crowds. In short, you don’t want to delay visiting for years in search of the “perfect” time. Trust us, the most likely response to your first Japan trip will be, “ why didn’t we do this sooner?!” and most definitely not “ we should’ve waited longer. ” We hear for the former all the time, but never the latter.

Hi Guys – great posts thankyou so much. We are planning on visiting TDR and DisneySea 2nd or 3rd week of January 2025 on the return leg of a European holiday (we live in Australia). Any tips or wisdom to share ? This is our first trip ever to Japan but not our first Disney (only Tokyo and Shanghai remain).

I am excited for all of these updates, but most especially the idea that we might no longer see Easter at TDL. Those faceless egg things are the stuff of nightmares and were always the worst part of an otherwise adorable celebration. The end of May on random weekdays was always my favourite time to visit, especially when I lived there, because many of the schools were having their first sets of exams, so you were less likely to see large groups of students until the evening. Evenings are a totally different beast, as I’m sure you’ve noticed, with the Weeknight Passport offering.

You are not at all wrong in regards to visiting the Japanese Disney parks being amazing. We took a family trip when an airline had a fire sale on plane tickets and almost DIDN’T go because I wanted my kids to focus on the cultural and ancient aspects of Japan. Lucky for me on one of the blogs I was doing my research on they mentioned how Tokyo Dland and Sea have become their own very Japanese things and they were so right!

First of all the customer service is off the scale. You take the Disney customer friendly ethos and add Japanese hospitality and it blew my mind how attentive and helpful the cast is there. The food is distinct (and delicious), hearing rides in Japanese* is too fun (my favorite was the talking skull right before the drop in Pirates of the Caribbean). They still have the Swiss Family Robinson version of the treehouse which was so fun for my kids because we had just listened to the audiobook and watched the movie. Also the people there was unique to Japan we went during the week and there were almost no children, lots of adults and young adults, dressed loosely in the colors or theme of favorite characters (even the men), lots of matching outfits. It was so much fun to see.

DisneySea has its own unique vibe and rides – it was so great we’re planning on going again in a couple of years. And its MUCH more economical for a better experience in my opinion.

*Once we decided to go I was worried about some of the magic being negated because of the language difference but even experiences with a lot of dialogue like Star Tours my kids and I (ages 4, 6, 8, 10 and 30/40s at the time) got the gist of what was going on and had a lot of fun. Fantasmic I’ve seen enough times that I told them the gist (I grew up 30 min from Disneyland and went all the time because my cousin worked there).

Hey Tom could use your advice. Planning our big Japan trip for 2024. We could go as early at March or April and as late as October or November. I see you mentioning October I to November is your general favorite I’ve to visit, but you are recommending visiting asap, however we wouldn’t be going early 2023 like you suggest.

Why do you prefer October into November? If deciding between April 2024 or late October 2024 which would you pick? I know with October the new expansion would def be open. Thank you Tom! I know you say the one time lifetime trip ends up to not be the case, but I really do think this is one trip for us!

We’re looking at going in May of 2024 or 2025. Do you think 2024 will be cutting it close with the opening of Fantasy Springs? I’m wondering if we should wait until 2025. I don’t want to miss it or it be crazy crowded because of it

We are going for our first time to Japan in 2024.. we decided on the last week of May and first week of June. Getting past Golden week and cherry blossom season, and rainy season usually holds off until mid-June but crowds do seem to drop off at that point. We figure there’s two ways it can go – Fantasy Springs won’t be open and crowds will be low, or it will have just opened and it’ll be busy. Obvious upsides to both scenarios, but since it’s out of our hands, we’re going to roll with it and enjoy the vacation!

Oh dear. As of a couple of days ago (when Hong Kong lifted its last quarantine requirements for incoming visitors), we decided we’d go for it next fall. 3 days at HKDL (2 park days plus an extra day for jet lag) and 3 weeks in Japan. We already have a Feb/March trip booked elsewhere, don’t want to go in the summer, and so fall makes sense. I was thinking the bulk of November, but I see you don’t recommend waiting… Not sure we can make it work any sooner, and I am seeing lots of great deals for airfare & hotels using various points in the fall, so at least if we get stuck with crowds we will have landed good deals. Fingers crossed!

FWIW, this was written before domestic travel subsidies were released and prior to our recent visit to Japan and we definitely underestimated the amount of *current* pent-up demand playing out. Japan is going to release even more subsidies in early 2023, so a lot of the pent-up demand could be burned off by next November.

After I left that comment I went back & skimmed through your articles about Halloween & Christmas as well as your Hallow/XMas in one trip suggestion. So I’m thinking about trying that now. Of course that increases the total number of days we’ll spend at TDR & only gives us 2 weeks to do everything else we want to do… Hard decisions! lol.

We have had our last 3 trips to Japan cancelled, each time hoping that the country would be open again, and now we have to wait for September next year due to school and sports events. Super excited to see that it will be 40th birthday time then!! I was lucky enough to visit WDW for their 40th so this would make our souvenirs match too.

You sold me! We just cashed in a bunch of points to go Summer 2023! (with school schedules this is really the only time it could work for us). Spending almost 3 weeks in Japan including 3 full park days at TDR-flying into Osaka and out of Tokyo. I was wondering if Universal in Osaka is worth sacrificing a day. We’ll be spending 3 full days there (in addition to the Universal day) and taking Tom’s recommendation of spending the extra time in Kyoto-almost 5 full days-and about 4 days in Tokyo on top of the Disney days. We’ll have our 16 and 13 year old sons with us. Thanks!!

We really like USJ, but it would not be high on my priorities for a first trip to Japan. It’s also a very busy park during the summer. (If you do opt to go, here’s our guide, which will receive a major update later this year: https://www.travelcaffeine.com/universal-studios-japan-tips/ )

With that said, I also would not spend 3 days in Osaka. It’s fine–but definitely my least favorite major city in Japan. Consider taking doing a day there to see the highlights, and use the rest of the time as a base for day trips to Himeji and Kobe–maybe even Hiroshima/Miyajima.

Did a mom and 4 year old trip to TDR four years ago, and can’t wait to go back. We even skipped a few of the headliners because she was too short or scared. A few times each year she brings up wanting to go back with the whole family this time.

We had the good fortune to live near Tokyo for a few years and visited TDR on numerous occasions. We were able to visit a few more times when we lived in South Korea and flights to Narita were cheap and a mere 2 hours. I’m fairly certain I choked up that last evening as we were walking out of DisneySea. Fast forward 8 years and we tentatively have a trip to go back next year. We had visited at some point when they were celebrating the 30th Happiness is Here Anniversary, so what a treat it would be to be there for the 40th. And I would love to stay at Miracosta once more, but the budget — after paying for 4 plane tickets to Japan — may only allow a room at Hilton Tokyo Bay using our points. Which isn’t a bad way to go at all, as we’ve stayed there many times, but I found there truly was something magical at Miracosta. Wherever we stay, I will be thrilled to be able to visit once again!

My current plan is to go in late October 2024, go to TDR for a few days for Halloween, then visit Japan for a couple of weeks and be back to TDR for Christmas season. It’s something you suggested some time ago, why it’s not in your tips about when to visit?

God this all sounds awesome. A 2 week Japan vacation topped off with a couple days at the Disney parks is definitely on my lifetime bucket list. Has anyone with kids done this trip? Wondering what’s the youngest age that would make sense considering the massive flight time, etc…10?

We took our then 4 year old in 2016 to Tokyo, Kyoto and Disney flying from Canada. He did really well! We eventually had to buy a travel stroller for him as it got to be too much walking. It was a great trip. It helps that we had Japanese relatives with us – especially for the train stations.

I didn’t plan much ahead of time, so I realize in retrospect this should have been a terrible idea: I bought and went to DisneySea for one day, December 31, 2019. I think it’s one of the busiest days there at Tokyo DisneySea. I didn’t know anything about it beforehand, just showed up and walked through, grabbing a few FastPasses along the way. No strategy, just enjoying what I wanted to enjoy. I don’t think I waited in any line more than an hour. I rode everything once except Soarin. It was one of if not the best day I’ve ever had at a Disney park. If I could only choose one park to visit the rest of my life it would be DisneySea. If you ever get the chance, even if it’s the busiest day of the year, GO!

I have been to every Disney park in the world at least once (all except HK Disneyland at least 2x) and I agree with your assessment that Tokyo Disney is special and worth visiting if you love Disney. If you can only do one overseas trip, this one is absolutely the one we’d recommend, in particular DisneySea. We are torn between visiting next Spring (likely less crowded) and waiting for the DisneySea expansion to be completed.

FWIW, we just visited Disneyland Paris a few months ago, and (even as a francophone Francophile) it’s not remotely as magical or unique as Tokyo.

Kemudian Anda juga akan diajak photoshop dengan background Tokyo Tower (Foot Town) yang merupakan menara tertinggi kedua didunia(634m).

Tokyo Disney Resort is known for its fantastic limited-time events – there is always something going on! Although many smaller events have yet to return post-pandemic (we’re really missing uniquely Japanese celebrations such as Natsu Matsuri and Tanabata Days), there’s still lots to be excited about!

Get excited for Tokyo Disney Resort’s 40th Anniversary celebration, “Dream-Go-Round”! Experience a new daytime parade, festive decorations, exclusive merchandise, and mouth-watering food choices. The festivities begin on  April 15, 2023 , and run until  March 31, 2024 .

Tokyo Disney Resort has announced that Disney Halloween will return this year, offering guests Halloween-themed decorations, entertainment, attraction overlays, a tonne of merchandise, and food and beverage offerings! The event runs from September 15 through October 31, 2023 .

Get ready for a magical winter wonderland as Christmas returns to Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea from  November 8 to December 25, 2023 ! Disney Christmas at Tokyo Disney Resort promises dazzling decorations, entertainment, seasonal treats, and exclusive merchandise.

Tokyo DisneySea will host a special event,   Duffy & Friends’ White Wintertime Wonders  that includes merchandise as well as limited-time food and beverages. The event will take place at DisneySea  from   November 1, 2023, until January 14, 2024 .

Universal Studios Japan

Universal Studios Japan has a busy event calendar, with various limited-time events, campaigns, and ride overlays occurring throughout the year. Let’s take a look at what’s coming up!

Halloween Horror Nights 2023 is back at Universal Studios Japan from  September 8 through November 5, 2023 ! There are a few brand-new experiences and the return of fan favorites. Here’s what to expect for Halloween Horror Nights 2023!

Universal Studios Japan is set to celebrate Christmas this year with festive decorations, food and drink, a plethora of merchandise, and limited-time entertainment. NO LIMIT! Christmas will take place from  November 21, 2023, to January 8, 2024 .

Welcome in the New Year with USJ’s exciting one-night-only New Year’s Eve countdown event,  NO LIMIT! Countdown 2024 . The event promises 26 hours of unlimited rides, limited-time entertainment, and a spectacular fireworks presentation. “NO LIMIT! Countdown 2024” at Universal Studios Japan starts at 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 31, 2023 , until 9 p.m. on Monday, January 1, 2024.

Other Events

Residents of Japan will soon have the opportunity to experience the magic of Disney fireworks outside of Tokyo Disneyland, with the announcement of  Disney Music & Fireworks , a touring nighttime entertainment event. The show will be presented from June to December 2023 .

Walt Disney Records Japan and Harmony Japan have announced a national tour of ‘ Disney On Classic – Magical Night ‘ in 2023. The concert tour will feature music from the beloved 1991 classic, Beauty and the Beast, and will encompass 51 performances in 32 cities nationwide from  September to December!
