AleXa Announces Dates And Cities For 2022 U.S. Tour

AleXa has revealed the dates and cities for her upcoming U.S. tour!

On August 3 local time, AleXa officially announced her plans for her 2022 tour of the United States, which will take her to eight different cities this October.

After kicking things off in Jersey City on October 18, AleXa will be performing in Puerto Rico on October 20, Atlanta on October 22, Chicago on October 23, Oklahoma City on October 25, Houston on October 27, San Francisco on October 28, and Los Angeles on October 30.

Korean-American singer AleXa has announced the venues for her upcoming concert tour of the United States.

Earlier today (August 17), events production company Studio PAV released the final list of dates and venues for the vocalist’s first headlining tour of the country. Earlier this month, AleXa herself had shared a list of dates and cities but without specifying venues.

AleXa is set to kick off her tour in New Jersey, before holding performances in Puerto Rico, Georgia, Illinois, Oklahoma, Texas and California all throughout October. Dates and venues for her tour are as follows:

October 2022 18 (Tuesday) – Jersey, White Eagle Hall 20 (Thursday) – San Juan, Teatro Francisco Arriví 22 (Saturday) – Atlanta, Ferst Center of the Arts 23 (Sunday) – Chicago, Avondale Music Hall 25 (Tuesday) – Oklahoma, Tower Theater 27 (Thursday) – Houston, Hobby Center 28 (Friday) – San Francisco, Marine’s Memorial Theater 30 (Sunday) – Los Angeles, Avalon Hollywood

Tickets are set to go on sale on August 26, at 2PM local time. More info will be available here . VIP tickets are priced at $129, and include a signed poster, a VIP badge and first entry to the concert venues. T2 tickets (priced at $79) give fans entry to the venue after VIP ticket holders while T3 tickets (priced at $39) give fans entry to the venue after T2 holders.

A separate meet and greet package available for $89 includes access to soundcheck, a Q&A session and a group photo with AleXa. Admission to the concert proper, however, is not included in the package.

AleXa’s solo tour of the United States comes several months after she won NBC’s inaugural American Song Contest . The reality TV competition, hosted by Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson , was based on the Eurovision Song Contest .

AleXa unveils 'coming soon' teaser for her upcoming U.S. tour

AleXa is gearing up for her first U.S. tour!

On July 23 KST, Studio PAV dropped a 'coming soon' teaser image announcing that AleXa will be heading out on her first U.S. tour later this year. However, exact dates and locations have yet to be disclosed.

Meanwhile, AleXa recently participated in the Korean Cultural Center New York 's Korea Gayoje , where she performed alongside other K-pop acts Brave Girls and Golden Child .

K-pop soloist AleXa announces dates for US tour

Oklahoma-born K-pop soloist AleXa is set to perform in her home state and seven other stops on her upcoming U.S. tour.

The ZB label artist will start in Jersey City, New Jersey, on Oct. 18 before venturing to Puerto Rico on Oct. 20, Atlanta on Oct. 22, Chicago on Oct. 23, Oklahoma City on Oct. 25, Houston on Oct. 27, San Francisco on Oct. 28 and Los Angeles on Oct. 30.

It is fitting that AleXa is touring across the country after winning the inaugural season of “American Song Contest” back in May. The show’s premise was inspired by "Eurovision" and had artists representing each state and U.S. territory impress a 56-person jury and compete for America’s votes.

AleXa ultimately won with “Wonderland,” an original song she and her team created for the competition.

A clip of her following her win went viral as the trophy she was given broke within mere moments.

Prior to her crowning victory, she spoke to NextShark over Zoom to discuss what winning as an American-born K-pop artist would mean to her.

Before “American Song Contest,” she released her single “Tattoo” in January. She officially debuted as a solo artist with her hit track “Bomb” in 2019 and gained popularity after winning Soompi’s online singing competition “Rising Legends” in 2016 and participating in Mnet’s “Produce 48” in 2018.

American Song Contest Winner AleXa Holds First U.S. Tour

For the first time since her debut, AleXa will be embarking on a U.S. tour. In October, the  AleXa U.S. Tour  will kick off on the east coast in Jersey City, run through AleXa’s hometown Oklahoma City, and head further west to finish up in Los Angeles.

AleXa got her start as a cover dancer online, gaining a steady and passionate following within K-pop fan communities for her cheerful personality and years of training in various styles of dance. The young star auditioned for Soompi’s Rising Legends competition in both 2016 and 2017, placing first in the dance category both years. Although one of the winning prizes was a chance to audition for sponsoring companies, JYP Entertainment and Cube Entertainment, the soloist eventually signed with ZB Label in 2018. From there, she went on to compete on Mnet’s Produce 48 before debuting in 2019 with her song “Bomb.”

AleXa Comeback: K-pop Super Rookie Announces Plans to Return in January 2022

"Global Super Rookie" AleXa has personally announced her solo comeback in January next year! The female soloist has also revealed the specific date of her return.

AleXa's Solo Comeback Scheduled to Take Place in January 2022

On Dec. 9 at noon KST, the female K-pop soloist held a live broadcast via V Live to celebrate her birthday, which was on the same day.

During the livestream, AleXa caused fans to give explosive reactions after delivering the news of her solo comeback. She said that her return to the music scene had been confirmed for January. She added that the recording of the song and the filming of the music video have all been completed.

While the female idol confirmed her return, she didn't specify whether she will release a new single or a new album.

AleXa's solo comeback in January will be her first in three months since her mini-album "DECOHERENCE" was dropped this past October.

The female idol is receiving a lot of attention from the MZ generation with her AI-based concept. Many of her music videos have a futuristic theme and she even released a track entitled "AI Trooper," which perfectly fits into her AI-influenced musical identity.

In October this year, AleXa officially began her activities in the United States with an in-person fan sign event at Amoeba Music in Los Angeles. This fanmeet garnered attention as it is the first offline fan signing event held in the U.S. by a K-pop artist since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Besides the fanmeet, the "Bomb" singer also sang the U.S. national anthem at the LA Dodgers' game against the San Diego Padres, which took place on Sept. 29 local time.

Further, AleXa has become the first K-pop idol to hold a metaverse fan meeting this past November. The event used technology from Improbable Worlds, a British game technology company.

Meanwhile, AleXa's solo comeback is set to take place on Jan. 6, 2022. She is expected to release teasers for her return sequentially this month.

AleXa's Latest Solo Comeback with "DECOHERENCE"

On Oct. 21, the global super rookie came back with her second mini-album, "DECOHERENCE." This is her first mini-album in six months since her first EP "Do or Die" came out in April.

Alongside the album, the music video for the title song "Revolution" was revealed. Produced by LDN Noise, "Revolution" is the final part of AleXa's trilogy that started with "Bomb" and continued with "Do or Die."

In addition to "Revolution," AleXa's "DECOHERENCE" contains seven more songs including her pre-release track "Villain."

On the same day of its release, "DECOHERENCE" entered several iTunes Albums charts in different countries including Ireland, Turkey, Belgium, Italy, the United States, Germany, Australia and more. "Revolution" also entered iTunes Songs charts in countries like Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, Russia, Canada, the United Kingdom and more.

In the first week of release, the music video for AleXa's "Revolution" surpassed two million views on YouTube.

After teasing a tour for months, ATEEZ has finally made good on its promise.

The beloved Hip-Hop/K-Pop group just announced they’ll play stadiums and arenas all over North America this July and August on their ten-concert ‘TOWARDS THE LIGHT : WILL TO POWER’ tour .

Midway through the run, Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho stop at New York’s Citi Field on Saturday, Aug. 3.

This quick summer tour comes on the heels of the octet’s historic Coachella performance where they became the first K-Pop boy band to perform at the multi-weekend festival.

“We used the best songs,” San said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter .

And if you’re an ATINY who can’t wait to hear ATEEZ’s best songs live, tickets for all concerts can be yours as soon as today.

Although inventory isn’t available on Ticketmaster until Friday, May 3, fans who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can purchase on sites like Vivid Seats before tickets are officially on sale.
