Segway! – One of the Best Things to Do in Branson

If you’re coming to Branson for the first time, we’re excited for you to experience all our fantastic town has to offer! But, as they say, it’s not just the destination, it’s also the journey! So, we’d like to suggest a fun way to “journey” all over Branson. Schedule time for a Segway adventure; we think it’s a really fun thing to do in Branson!

There are a few things to know about Segways. First, it may take a minute to get used to riding one, but once you get a feel for it, it’s really easy. Second, Segway tours in Branson emphasize safety. They’ll teach you how to properly handle the personal transporter before you’re let loose to roam, and they provide protective helmets. And, third, they’re So Much Fun!

One of the most beautiful parts of our community is Dogwood Canyon, a 10,000-acre nature park with fishing, hiking and tons of gorgeous scenery. You can ride horses, bike or even take a wildlife tram tour. Or, you can try the most modern approach and see the park on a Segway tour !  The tours at Dogwood Canyon are guided and take about 90 minutes. You’ll learn the history of the park while taking in all the breathtaking sights.

Another option for a Segway experience is to rent one of the vehicles at Branson Segway and take it out on the free-roaming track, located just one block off Branson’s famous 76 Country Blvd. According to Branson Segway, the track is the only route in the world that was specifically built for Segways. And, bonus, it’ll take you right near us at Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center ! Maybe you can stop in for a visit!

Friendly, helpful staff and reasonably priced. It takes a couple minutes to get your balance, but actually quite fun once you do! Don't forget to sign the wall on your way out.

Super fun! My kids both really enjoyed it. 15 and 11. My 11 yr old weighs 87 lbs. Just barely eligible to ride. They gave her extra attention. She even had a personal escort making sure she was safe. Well done! A highlight of our trip!

Never rode just saw them on TV.....wow amazing invention. Had a great first time with my buddy Josh....thanks many many thanks goes to alicia which is an amazing instructor....what an awesome job to have..

Friendly staff gave good instructions and were patient with me learning. Takes a little getting used to but after a few minutes of the training, I got the hang of it pretty easily. My husband and daughter (17 yrs) also. After the initial 10 minutes of training, we rode the track with guidance of the staff member who rode the track with us. Any questions or help were promptly addressed. We chose the 15 minute ride option and that was enough for us. When time was up, I was ready. Training time does NOT count as ride time, so actual on Segway time was about 25-30 minutes. It got a little boring riding the same track around but it was good to learn on and know if a longer tour at another site was something we wanted to do. We all agreed it was a good learning experience. If you have ever been interested in trying to ride a Segway, this is the place to start.

First of all, I don't give 5 stars lightly. Segway-ing was on the bucket list. What fun we had! Four of our group rode, the 2 that didn't took photos. The owner was very patient, demoing how to ride, explaining safety rules. I caught on quickly and I was off for an exhilarating ride! The contemporary Christian music made the experience seem like worship.

I had a great time riding a Segway for the first time a couple of weeks ago while on vacation in Branson. I also enjoyed talking with the guys that work there. I had wanted to ride a Segway ever since seeing one on display at Epcot many years ago. It was easier than I thought and the training time is free and doesn't take very long. I'm almost 67 years old...so all you baby boomers don't be afraid to give it a try.

A Segway Personal Transporter is a self-balancing device and its name is derived from the word "segue" which means, "follows." The motorized scooter uses gyroscopes to remain upright and is controlled by the direction in which the rider leans. Riders lean backwards, forwards and to the left and right using a thin handlebar attached to a pole.

When you arrive at Branson Segway and Adventure Center, the friendly staff members will help you choose your ride time and helmet. Then, it’s time for a lesson on safety and how to operate your Segway! After a thorough time of instruction, the staff will accompany you out to the track to make sure you feel confident! Then, it’s time for some fun as you ride the Segway on the free-roaming track!

Branson Segway

Feel the exhilaration of zooming around tracks on a Segway PT cruiser at the Branson Segway and Adventure Center. It’s safe and easy for friends and family to play. The courses are free roaming tracks and is unlike any other sensation. It is perhaps the world’s only free roaming track park of its kind with paved tracks covering almost 2 acres. The facility allows you full range and flow with your personal transporter.  The meticulously trained staff will educate everyone who visits on how to be safe on their personal ride. Tourists are trained in how to properly handle their self-balancing Branson Segway PT in no time. Each person, no matter how young or old will be accompanied to the track to ensure they feel fully confident before roaming free. 

Branson Segway Rentals

The Segway Personal Transporter is a self balancing riding device and got its name from the word "segue" meaning "follows." This motorized scooter uses gyroscopes to maintain an upright position and Branson Segway rentals are controlled by the direction the rider leans towards. Riders can lean backwards, forwards, right and left using a slender handlebar attached to the top of the vehicle pole.

There are 3 different levels of Branson Segway rentals. Level 1 is for those interested in experiencing the ride in a test drive package. Level 2 is a 15 minute package for riders wanting to joy ride around and have more play time. Level 3 is for those who can’t get enough and want lots of time.
