Comfortable ride. Tour guide well informed and friendly. This is a very good day trip to Amsterdam. Tour guide allowed guest to have good photo opportunities. She was really nice, very knowledgeable and very patient. Some members of our group are not always on time but our tour guide managed to wait for them and still provide us the highlights of the tour. Went to see local artisans with wooden shoes, local crafts and the cheese. Part of the tour was intro to cheese making. Saw some Holland’s cows in a barn. We were led to a windmill for photo op. At the center of Amsterdam, we were given an hour or so to explore the city, it shops, food and historical highligths including Loumd USA

A moving experience. Our guide, Stefan was absolutely superb. His knowledge, enthusiasm and passion was second to none. I learnt so much, if was like having a fantastic history lesson from your favorite teacher. There are so many things to see and I felt that our tour got the right balance on sites to see which included the German Military Cemetery, Dodengang, Flanders fields museum, Tyne cot cemetery, Hill 60 and finished off with an emotional Last post at the Menin Gate Sam Nic Great Britain

I took the Bike and Barge trip from Amsterdam to Bruges. There was so much good about this trip - our guide, Simon, was excellent on all fronts. However, there were 24 cyclists and Simon had no assistant. That is totally unacceptable. It was only by luck that we had some very experienced cyclists on this tour who assisted Simon when needed: and there were numerous occasions.

Our guided bike tour through Flanders was incredible! The guide was very knowledgeable about the region and was able to tell us many interesting facts and stories. The bike paths were well maintained and the scenery was breathtaking. We also had plenty of time to sample local specialties and sightsee. I can recommend this trip to anyone who enjoys cycling and wants to discover Belgian culture.

We had a fantastic time on our guided bike tour of Flanders. The guide was very experienced and took us on a beautiful route that let us discover many hidden treasures of the region. We sampled many delicious Belgian beers and enjoyed local specialties. The accommodations were also wonderful and offered us the opportunity to relax and unwind. The Iris Festival takes place on 4 and 5 May. That’s when we celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Brussels-Capital Region in style. What’s to expect? A weekend packed with a variety of free activities. The Iris Tipik Electro Night, street art, entertainment villages, activities for children, guided tours... don’t let this event pass you by!

Brussels devotes an entire weekend to the celebration of its anniversary. The festivities will take place on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th May 2024. On Saturday, the focus of the Iris Festival will be on the communes with numerous guided tours. The day concludes with the Iris Tipik Electro Night, transforming the impressive Place des Palais/Paleizenplein into a mega dance floor. Once again, the collaboration between the Brussels-Capital Region, visit.brussels, and RTBF via its Tipik media has resulted in an impressive lineup featuring Ofenbach, one of the most popular French electro duo’s worldwide, social media stars TRINIX and local heroes such as Alex Germys, Emjie, and Raql! The following day, the Brussels Park becomes the epicentre of the Iris Festival. In the park, you can enjoy a plethora of fun activities with the whole family throughout the day. Welcome to the area around Graystraat in Ixelles where the Living Room Music Festival takes you this year for its 21st edition!

On Sunday, May 5, residents open the doors of their living rooms to organize a concert of traditional world music and put the Graystraat neighborhood in the spotlight. Come spend an entire afternoon discovering musicians from different backgrounds and meet your neighbors, spectators and volunteers who are present at the festival. You can enjoy a peaceful walk from one concert to the next. Choose 3 concerts from the 10 concerts offered. Each artist/group plays 3 concerts of 30 minutes, alternating with 30 minutes in which the audience moves from one living room to the other. Consult the program below and make your choice from 3 concerts! Be daring, it is not every day that you can make a musical journey between the music of five continents in such a small area! The distances between each house can always be done on foot or by bike in a maximum of 15 minutes. Reservations for the Living Room Music Festival are highly recommended due to the small amount of tickets available. A ticket for the festival costs 15€ in presale and 19€ on the day of the festival (or 12€ for Muziekpublique members), and gives you access to 3 concerts of your choice. Who better than the Peruchet to invite and show puppets in all their eclectic and bewildering forms, to keep us wondering and to entertain all audiences. Launched in 2013, the JEM (Journées Européennes de la Marion-nette) festival at the Théâtre Royal du PERUCHET/MUSEE INTERNATIONAL DE LA MARIONNETTE has grown with the success it has met each time with spectators and audiences curious about puppetry arts for the widest possible audience and creative quality. This festival gives Brussels an international and European profile. The festival promotes the art of puppetry, its tradition and its modernity, by inviting European theatres (but not only) of international renown. Over the years, the festival has established itself as Belgium's most international puppet festival. Recognised with the European EFFE label for the 6th edition of the festival in 2022, this new edition is as promising as ever in inviting international artists and audiences from different European and international communities to discover puppets from different cultures, as open forms that play on the diversity of the puppetry arts. 10 Belgian premieres out of the 19 shows programmed for 39 performances, workshops, a lot of non-verbal shows, 1 exhibition on American artist Matt Jackson and 1 international round table over 4 weekends. The puppeteers will come from 4 corners of the world: South Korea, DRC Congo, the United States, but also Ireland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Italy, Germany, Greece, France, the Netherlands and Belgium. This year's theme is Safe Everyday Everywhere, a vision which aims to create a society where everyone can feel free and safe every day, everywhere. In addition to the concerts and stage performances, a Pride Village will be waiting for the public with a host of associations and activities. “The secret for this so long going on party, is the happy mix of styles and ages” The first ever LA DEMENCE party took place almost 30 years ago in 1989 ! What began as a weekly gay party on Sundays in small cities around Belgium has now become one of Europe’s biggest and most renowned parties. The concept really came into its own and became a roar-away success when the parties settled down in the capital, Brussels, in 1992, and from then on took place in a regular monthly slot at Fuse club: the day before a bank holiday or on a Friday. Besides that,each anniversary at Halloween a full party weekend with several parties is organised, including a huge Main Party at Palais 12. What makes LA DEMENCE stand out from the other gay parties is the happy mix of different styles and ages partying together: leather boys, bears, fashion victims, muscle queens, drags, young and old – in total in excess of 2000 gays having one hell of a party together. The 7th edition of the CubaLandz festival, which highlights contemporary Cuban art, celebrates the movement négritude and its impact on modern Cuban culture. Things are moving this summer at MAD Brussels. With Fashion Moves, the Centre for Fashion and Design presents a fascinating exhibition on the multifaceted relationship between fashion and dance.

What does movement do to a piece of clothing? How does the fashion designer adapt to the demands of dance costume? To what extent do fashion and dance inspire each other? Dance and movement have always influenced fashion. For the exhibition Fashion Moves, MAD Brussels explores the interaction between the two worlds. From breathtaking creations dedicated to the stage to the latest trends emerging through social media, especially the influence of ballet and techno, or creations inspired by clubs and nightlife. Numerous creations and trends are reviewed in four different chapters. The exhibition features the work of many renowned names such as Raf Simons, Glenn Martens, Marine Serre and Walter Van Beirendonck as well as emerging talents like Igor Dieryck, Marie Vandewiele, Stefan Kartchev, Jordy Arthur and many more.

The Midsummer Mozartiade festival invites you to its 8th edition, from 17 to 23 June, right in the heart of Brussels. Our main stage performances will again take place at the Théâtre Royal des Galeries, located in the elegant and historic Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, just a stone's throw from the Grand-Place.

A festival that gets a theatre singing (again)! Following the resounding success of Die Zauberflöte last summer, we are proud to present the opera Mitridate, re di Ponto at the Théâtre des Galeries this summer. This is a rare production of Mozart's very first opera seria (written at the age of 14!), a veritable triumph when it premiered in 1770. This masterpiece sings a powerful story of geopolitical confrontation (in a region known today as Crimea), fratricidal conflict and thwarted love (what could be more topical?). For all those who love vocal fireworks, this is no doubt the very modern-day production in which the roles of the rival brothers (originally written for castrati) will both be sung by men (in this case a sopranist and a countertenor). And echoing the ‘intimate and grandiose’ Requiem performed last summer by the prestigious phalanges of the CAV&MA de Namur, Missa Brevis will take the stage of the Théâtre des Galeries this summer. This ground-breaking concert, conceived by the excellent emerging conductor Gabriel Hollander, promises to delight all fans of sacred music (out of the box), chamber music (of a spiritual kind) or contemporary music (in its choral form). Featured on the programme are liturgical miniatures by Mozart, Haydn… and Belgian composer Fabian Fiorini. A festival that shows you round the centre of Brussels! Besides these exciting main stage productions, you will find a variety of free events at landmark venues throughout the city centre. In the Galerie du Roi, right outside the theatre, talented young performers (a wind quintet, a voice-cello duo and a string quartet) will serenade passers-by to kick off our festival week in style. A short stroll to Place des Martyrs will bring you to Maison CFC, at number 14, and two fascinating lectures on the journeys to Italy of aspiring composers and the evolution of opera seria across the ages. Turn left into Rue aux Choux, and straight ahead you will see the beautiful Mozart-era church Notre-Dame du Finistère. This peaceful haven in the bustling Rue Neuve will be the stage for a fabulous all-Handel concert, featuring two outstanding sopranos and a four-piece Baroque band. A festival that takes opera on the road! In July, we will once again be touring our opera production to the Théâtre Royal in Mons as part of the Festival au Carré, and then to the Grand-Manège in Namur as part of the Festival musical de Namur, courtesy of the ORCW and the CAV&MA, major partners of our Brussels festival. Our shared mission is to make opera (originally a popular form of entertainment) more accessible for a broader, more diverse audience. So make a date with Mozart this June! The garden of the Museum of Natural Sciences, adjacent to Leopold Park, is the starting point for an exploration of classical, contemporary, non-Western music and jazz. It’s all about alternative concert formats and breaking down barriers between different genres. A string quartet, a jazz solo, Eastern music and mysterious soundscapes … encounter them all at Walden Festival. Some concerts take place in the open air while others are held in stunning architectural jewels. Put together your own schedule and wander between concerts. This huge carpet of begonias covers the Grand-Place every two years. The cut flowers are arranged directly on the pavement of the square by specialist horticulturalists from Ghent. The resulting pattern of colours can be viewed from the balcony of the town hall.

Every other summer, on the weekend of August 15th, the Flower Carpet offers a chance to stroll across the Grand-Place, a jewel of Gothic architecture, to inhale the fragrant scent of the begonias and admire its details. This extraordinary spectacle is made complete by a visit to the balcony of the Town Hall, which offers a wide-angle view of the work. A musical theme is especially composed for each edition. A concert is given on the Grand-Place every evening and accompanies a magnificent sound and light show.

The Travel Byrds, a woman-owned travel agency, was named 2023 SCORE Greater Cincinnati Client of the Year. Founder Byrd Bergeron was presented a $3,000 prize from Kemba Credit Union during a reception on April 19 at The Children’s Theater.

Bergeron founded the business in 2019 and is expected to generate about $9 million in sales in 2024. She employs a guest experience team to connect clients to upgrades and perks while traveling.

“Byrd is herself a work at home mom,” said SCORE Mentor George Cordes on the My Cincy Small Business Story podcast. “What she’s doing with her company is giving fairly lucrative employment to a team of other work at home moms who need flexible hours and fun work.”

Other finalists for the award were: Chris Daily, owner of Beauty Artistry in Blue Ash, Mavis Linnemann-Clark, owner of The Delish Dish in Covington, and Kip Hatcher, a mental health counselor in Fort Mitchell. The businesses have all utilized free mentorship through SCORE to launch, grow or improve their business.

BRUSSELS (AP) — The number of Syrian refugees leaving Lebanon is likely to keep rising as donors cut back on aid, the head of the U.N.’s migration agency warned Tuesday, as pressure builds over their arrival on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus.

Amy Pope, director general of the International Organization for Migration, said that around 3,000 Syrians have left Lebanon since January, compared to 4,500 for the whole of last year. Many of them have headed to Cyprus, about 110 miles (180 kilometers) away.

In response, Cyprus suspended the processing of asylum applications by Syrian nationals earlier this month due to the large numbers. Cypriot authorities have reportedly dispatched police patrol vessels just outside Lebanese territorial waters to thwart refugee boats trying to head to Cyprus.

Pope told The Associated Press that governments are cutting aid funding to agencies working with people who have fled Syria, which has been ravaged by civil war for over 13 years, and that this is making things worse. At the same time, some Lebanese communities are getting tired of hosting them.

“My concern is that we will see it become increasingly difficult for Syrians to stay safely in Lebanon. And when people cannot stay safely in one place, they do what every human being will do, is look where they can go,” Pope said.

“The numbers are ticking up,” she said. “Lebanon is becoming a less hospitable place for them to stay.”

Asked why aid to Syrian refugees is being cut, Pope said: “Because the number of conflicts has gone up, because the Syrian populations have been displaced now for almost 10 years, because the assumptions are we can’t continue to fund Syrians when we have increasing numbers of people from different parts of the world.”

The Cypriot government says a crumbling Lebanese economy, coupled with uncertainty brought on by the Israeli-Hamas war and recent tit-for-tat strikes between Israel and Lebanon, has resulted in a huge number of boats overloaded with migrants – almost all Syrians – reaching the island.

Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides and European Commission Chief Ursula von der Leyen are due in Beirut on Thursday to discuss a possible aid package.

FACT SHEET: Biden- ⁠ Harris Administration Announces Rules to Deliver Automatic Refunds and Protect Consumers from Surprise Junk Fees in Air   Travel

Newly finalized rules will mandate automatic, cash refunds for cancelled or significantly delayed flights and save consumers over half a billion dollars every year in airline fees

WASHINGTON – Building on a historic record of expanding consumer protections and standing up for airline passengers, the Biden-Harris Administration announced final rules that require airlines to provide automatic cash refunds to passengers when owed and protect consumers from costly surprise airline fees. These rules will significantly expand consumer protections in air travel, provide passengers an easier pathway to refunds when owed, and save consumers over half a billion dollars every year in hidden and surprise junk fees.   The rules are part of the Biden-Harris Administration’s work to lower costs for consumers and take on corporate rip-offs. President Biden signed an Executive Order on Promoting Competition in 2021 that encouraged DOT to take steps to promote fairer, more transparent, and competitive markets.   Requiring Automatic Cash Airline Refunds

The first rule requires airlines to promptly provide passengers with automatic cash refunds when owed because their flights are cancelled or significantly changed, their checked bags are significantly delayed, or the ancillary services, like Wi-Fi, they purchased are not provided.   Without this rule, consumers have to navigate a patchwork of cumbersome processes to request and receive a refund — searching through airline websites to figure out how to make the request, filling out extra “digital paperwork,” or at times waiting for hours on the phone. Passengers would also receive a travel credit or voucher by default from many airlines instead of getting their money back, so they could not use their refund to rebook on another airline when their flight was changed or cancelled without navigating a cumbersome request process.   DOT’s rule makes it simple and straightforward for passengers to receive the money they are owed. The final rule requires refunds to be:

• Automatic: Airlines must automatically issue refunds without passengers having to explicitly request them or jump through hoops.
• Prompt: Airlines and ticket agents must promptly issue refunds within seven business days of refunds becoming due for credit card purchases and 20 calendar days for other payment methods.
• Cash or original form of payment: Airlines and ticket agents must provide refunds in cash or whatever original payment method the individual used to make the purchase, such as credit card or airline miles. Airlines may not substitute vouchers, travel credits, or other forms of compensation unless the passenger affirmatively chooses to accept alternative compensation.
• Full amount: Airlines and ticket agents must provide full refunds of the ticket purchase price, minus the value of any portion of transportation already used. The refunds must include all government-imposed taxes and fees and airline-imposed fees.

Protecting Against Surprise Airline Junk Fees

Secondly, DOT is requiring airlines and ticket agents to tell consumers upfront what fees they charge for checked bags, a carry-on bag, for changing a reservation, or cancelling a reservation. This ensures that consumers can avoid surprise fees when they purchase tickets from airlines or ticket agents, including both brick-and-mortar travel agencies or online travel agencies. The rule will help consumers avoid unneeded or unexpected charges that can increase quickly and add significant cost to what may, at first, look like a cheap ticket. Extra fees, like checked baggage and change fees, have been a growing source of revenue for airlines, while also becoming more complex and confusing for passengers over time. In total, thanks to the final rule, consumers are expected to save over half a billion dollars every year that they are currently overpaying in airline fees. DOT’s rule ensures that consumers have the information they need to better understand the true costs of air travel. Under the final rule, airlines are required to:

• Disclose baggage, change, and cancellation fees upfront : Each fee must be disclosed the first time that fare and schedule information is provided on the airline’s online platform — and cannot be displayed through a hyperlink.
• Explain fee policies before ticket purchase: For each type of baggage, airlines and ticket agents must spell out the weight and dimension limitations that they impose. They must also describe any prohibitions or restrictions on changing or cancelling a flight, along with policies related to differences in fare when switching to a more or less expensive flight.  
• Share fee information with third parties : An airline must provide useable, current, and accurate information regarding its baggage, change, and cancellation fees and policies to any company that is required to disclose them to consumers and receives fare, schedule, and availability information from that airline.
• Inform consumers that seats are guaranteed: When offering an advance seat assignment for a fee, airlines and ticket agents must let consumers know that purchasing a seat is not necessary to travel, so consumers can avoid paying unwanted seat selection fees.
• Provide both standard and passenger-specific fee information:  Consumers can choose to view passenger-specific fee information based on their participation in the airline’s rewards program, their military status, or the credit card that they use — or they can decide to stay anonymous and get the standard fee information.
• End discount bait-and-switch tactics: The final rule puts an end to the bait-and-switch tactics some airlines use to disguise the true cost of discounted flights. It prohibits airlines from advertising a promotional discount off a low base fare that does not include all mandatory carrier-imposed fees.

DOT’s Historic Record of Consumer Protection Under the Biden-Harris Administration Both of these actions were suggested for consideration by the DOT in the Executive Order on Promoting Competition and build on historic steps the Biden-Harris Administration has already taken to expand consumer protections, promote competition, and protect air travelers. Under the Biden-Harris Administration, DOT has advanced the largest expansion of airline passenger rights, issued the biggest fines against airlines for failing consumers, and returned more money to passengers in refunds and reimbursements than ever before in the Department’s history.

• DOT launched the flightrights.gov dashboard, and now all 10 major U.S. airlines guarantee free rebooking and meals, and nine guarantee hotel accommodations when an airline issue causes a significant delay or cancellation. These are new commitments the airlines added to their customer service plans that DOT can legally ensure they adhere to and are displayed on flightrights.gov.
• Since President Biden took office, DOT has helped return more than $3 billion in refunds and reimbursements owed to airline passengers – including over $600 million to passengers affected by the Southwest Airlines holiday meltdown in 2022.
• DOT has issued over $164 million in penalties against airlines for consumer protection violations. Between 1996 and 2020, DOT collectively issued less than $71 million in penalties against airlines for consumer protection violations.
• DOT recently launched a new partnership with a bipartisan group of state attorneys general to fast-track the review of consumer complaints, hold airlines accountable, and protect the rights of the traveling public.
• In 2023, the flight cancellation rate in the U.S. was a record low at under 1.2% — the lowest rate of flight cancellations in over 10 years despite a record amount of air travel
• DOT is undertaking its first ever industry-wide review of airline privacy practices and its first review of airline loyalty programs

In addition to finalizing the rules to require automatic refunds and protect consumers from surprise fees, DOT is also pursuing rulemakings that would:

• Propose to ban family seating junk fees and guarantee that parents can sit with their children for no extra charge when they fly. Before President Biden and Secretary Buttigieg pressed airlines last year, no airline committed to guaranteeing fee-free family seating. Now, four airlines guarantee fee-free family seating, as the Department is working on its family seating junk fee ban proposal.
• Propose to make passenger compensation and amenities mandatory so that travelers are taken care of when airlines cause flight delays or cancellations.
• Expand the rights for passengers who use wheelchairs and ensure that they can travel safely and with dignity . The comment period on this proposed rule closes on May 13, 2024.

Biden-Harris Administration Announces Final Rule Requiring Automatic Refunds of Airline Tickets and Ancillary Service Fees

Rule makes it easy to get money back for cancelled or significantly changed flights, significantly delayed checked bags, and additional services not provided  

WASHINGTON – The Biden-Harris Administration today announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has issued a final rule that requires airlines to promptly provide passengers with automatic cash refunds when owed. The new rule makes it easy for passengers to obtain refunds when airlines cancel or significantly change their flights, significantly delay their checked bags, or fail to provide the extra services they purchased.

“Passengers deserve to get their money back when an airline owes them - without headaches or haggling,” said U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg . “Our new rule sets a new standard to require airlines to promptly provide cash refunds to their passengers.”  

The final rule creates certainty for consumers by defining the specific circumstances in which airlines must provide refunds. Prior to this rule, airlines were permitted to set their own standards for what kind of flight changes warranted a refund. As a result, refund policies differed from airline to airline, which made it difficult for passengers to know or assert their refund rights. DOT also received complaints of some airlines revising and applying less consumer-friendly refund policies during spikes in flight cancellations and changes. 

Under the rule, passengers are entitled to a refund for:

• Canceled or significantly changed flights: Passengers will be entitled to a refund if their flight is canceled or significantly changed, and they do not accept alternative transportation or travel credits offered. For the first time, the rule defines “significant change.” Significant changes to a flight include departure or arrival times that are more than 3 hours domestically and 6 hours internationally; departures or arrivals from a different airport; increases in the number of connections; instances where passengers are downgraded to a lower class of service; or connections at different airports or flights on different planes that are less accessible or accommodating to a person with a disability.  
• Significantly delayed baggage return: Passengers who file a mishandled baggage report will be entitled to a refund of their checked bag fee if it is not delivered within 12 hours of their domestic flight arriving at the gate, or 15-30 hours of their international flight arriving at the gate, depending on the length of the flight.  
• Extra services not provided: Passengers will be entitled to a refund for the fee they paid for an extra service — such as Wi-Fi, seat selection, or inflight entertainment — if an airline fails to provide this service.

DOT’s final rule also makes it simple and straightforward for passengers to receive the money they are owed. Without this rule, consumers have to navigate a patchwork of cumbersome processes to request and receive a refund — searching through airline websites to figure out how make the request, filling out extra “digital paperwork,” or at times waiting for hours on the phone. In addition, passengers would receive a travel credit or voucher by default from some airlines instead of getting their money back, so they could not use their refund to rebook on another airline when their flight was changed or cancelled without navigating a cumbersome request process.  

The final rule improves the passenger experience by requiring refunds to be:

• Automatic: Airlines must automatically issue refunds without passengers having to explicitly request them or jump through hoops.   
• Prompt: Airlines and ticket agents must issue refunds within seven business days of refunds becoming due for credit card purchases and 20 calendar days for other payment methods.  
• Cash or original form of payment: Airlines and ticket agents must provide refunds in cash or whatever original payment method the individual used to make the purchase, such as credit card or airline miles. Airlines may not substitute vouchers, travel credits, or other forms of compensation unless the passenger affirmatively chooses to accept alternative compensation.

The refunds must include all government-imposed taxes and fees and airline-imposed fees, regardless of whether the taxes or fees are refundable to airlines.

The final rule also requires airlines to provide prompt notifications to consumers affected by a cancelled or significantly changed flight of their right to a refund of the ticket and extra service fees, as well as any related policies.

In addition, in instances where consumers are restricted by a government or advised by a medical professional not to travel to, from, or within the United States due to a serious communicable disease, the final rule requires that airlines must provide travel credits or vouchers. Consumers may be required to provide documentary evidence to support their request. Travel vouchers or credits provided by airlines must be transferrable and valid for at least five years from the date of issuance.

The Department received a significant number of complaints against airlines and ticket agents for refusing to provide a refund or for delaying processing of refunds during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. At the height of the pandemic in 2020, refund complaints peaked at 87 percent of all air travel service complaints received by DOT. Refund problems continue to make up a substantial share of the complaints that DOT receives.

Federal agents have launched a criminal probe into the embattled mayor of a Chicago suburb, Tiffany Henyard, issuing a subpoena to the self-proclaimed “super mayor” last week for a trove of business records and financial reports.

FBI agents served subpoenas to Henyard, who is both the mayor of Dolton and the Thorntown Township Supervisor, at the Thorntown Township Hall on Friday, Fox 32 Chicago reported .

The controversial leader has faced multiple accusations that she has misappropriated taxpayer money to cover her personal expenses including a police security detail as well as unnecessary, lavish travel.

She was hit with two subpoenas — one that focuses on her and her private work and one that revolves around the township, according to the local station which obtained copies.

In the first, the feds are seeking personnel files, wage and tax documents, time and attendance records, contracts and checks written to “cash” from Henyard’s multiple endeavors — a restaurant she owns, a property management company she runs, her political action committee and a charity in her name.

The second subpoena asks for a trove of township financial documents like budgets, payroll records, and ordinances covering credit card purchases, expense reports and reimbursements, security details and use of vehicles, according to Fox 32.

The information the feds are seeking shows that Henyard is the primary target of the criminal probe, former FBI agent Ross Rice told the station.

“It’s very broad in scope. It’s very broad in the number of people and entities they’re asking for records on. So there must be some serious allegations of wrongdoing that they’re trying to get to the bottom of,” said Rice, who reviewed the subpoenas.

Henyard has come under fire for treating local police akin to her personal security at a $1 million price tag — with local brass saying her requirements have hampered their ability to do their jobs and keep the community safe.

The Dolton village board unanimously voted to begin an investigation into her alleged spending of taxpayer money but Henyard shot down the resolution with a veto last month.

The board then voted to hire former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot , who also served as a federal prosecutor, to investigate Henyard’s spending while also inviting the FBI to open its own probe.

The FBI has reportedly received scores of complaints against the mayor, according to a business owner who took his own complaint against her to an FBI office. Lawrence Gardner, 57, told The Post he informed agents that Henyard  shuttered his trucking business  because he refused to renew a $3,500 political contribution.
