Pickup/Drop Off Locations

Main Terminal: After you have cleared customs and collected your luggage you may check-in by phone, email or in person. A courtesy phone is available at the information desk and the airport has free wifi. The Whistler Connection desk is located in the domestic terminal, near baggage claim 2. South Terminal: Whistler Connection does not pick-up directly from the south terminal. Please make your way to domestic arrivals in the main terminal and follow the check-in instructions for the main terminals. The airport provides a courtesy shuttle .

Pickup Times: Whistler Shuttle offers flexible departures. In the case of a delayed flight, Whistler shuttle will adjust their departure schedule to ensure that you are on the road to Whistler as soon as possible. The shuttle meets flights arriving from 9:00 AM to as late as 9:00 PM in Winter. If your flight arrives after these times, you will be transferred to the first shuttle the next morning.

Door to Door Service

Door to Door service is included and provides transportation to most hotels and condos located in the Village (Whistler Village, Upper Village, Village North and Creekside). Due to the landscape at Whistler Village, at some locations Whistler Shuttle are able to provide transportation service to a property closest to your hotel/condo only. Whistler shuttle are still able to drop you off at your specific location in Whistler for an additional fee of $40 per group. To enquire about specific drop-off/pick up locations, please call 1.800.944.7853 for more information. A list of all drop off/pick up locations is also available to view during the online checkout process.

Key Service

Due to the additional requirement to provide Key pick-up, check-in assistance and additional transportation, a Key Service fee of $25 per group will be levied (plus 5% GST). This fee is a one time fee (inbound only) and does include your return pick-up at your hotel/condo. Guests must make their checkout arrangments directly with the property management company prior to departure. The key service can be booked online. Please add to your cart when booking.

Baggage Policy

Limit to 2 pieces of luggage, not to exceed 22.5 kg (50lbs.) per piece and one carry on (6.8 kg / 15lbs and under). Overweight items will be subject to an additional fee per piece of $15.00 (includes tax) and space availability.

Bike Ski, Snowboard & Golf Club Policy

These items will be accepted for transport on a space available basis and must be properly contained (box or bag). Ski & Snowboards are considered to be 1 of your 2 allowed luggage pieces. Maximum of 1 bicycle per passenger at an additional charge of $25. Bicycles must be boxed.

YVR Skylynx Kids Travel Free

Kids 0-12 travel free with paying adult when you book by November 15, 2021. Kid tickets must be added to the order alongside adult tickets.

YVR (Vancouver International Airport) Pick-up Location (Northbound) : Meet at our YVR Skylynx Kiosk beside the escalator at International Arrivals.

Vancouver Pacific Central Station : Meet at Bus Bay #7.

Downtown Vancouver City Centre : Meet on Melville Street outside of Hyatt Regency Hotel near Burrard Metro Station.

Squamish : Pick-up and drop-off by reservation only. Meet at the Squamish Adventure Centre.

Creekside : Pick-up and drop-off by reservation only. The meeting point is outside of Legends Hotel at the bus stop.

Whistler : Meet at Whistler Gateway loop near the Whistler Visitor Centre.

EXPRESS Service : YVR Skylynx’s EXPRESS service conducts pick-ups from YVR Vancouver Airport then is a direct express transfer to Whistler. In Whistler, the EXPRESS service picks up and drops off at Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa, The Westin Resort & Spa, and Fairmont Chateau Whistler.

Passengers may bring a maximum of 5 suitcases and 1 carry-on bag per person.

Bikes, Skis & Golf Clubs

Passengers may bring a maximum of 2 sets of golf clubs, skis or snowboards per person.

Each ticket holder may bring one standard size suitcase or duffel bag no larger than 158 centimeters (62 inches) and weighing a maximum of 23 kilos (50 pounds) plus one carry-on bag that can fit in the overhead storage compartment. Please note that overhead storage space on buses is typically smaller than found in airplanes and measures 23x 40.5x51 cm (9x16x20 inches). Bringing a small suitcase as a carry-on bag weighing no more than 12 kg (25 lbs) is perfectly fine. Additional luggage is charged $15 each for a single or return trip.

Each ticket holder may also bring one set of skis or snowboard or golf clubs. Additional skis or snowboards or golf clubs are charged $15 which also covers the return trip if a return trip is purchased at the same time. Customers wishing to transport a bicycle or tandem are charged $20 per bike for a return trip.

We recommend customers purchase additional luggage and gear in advance through Whistler.com or by contacting Whistler.com call centre 1800-944-7853 to guarantee we have room to accommodate your request. In the unlikely event that we do not have room for your gear, we commit to ensuring your gear travels safely on the next service and dropped off at your final destination.

Epic Rides Fares

Pick up / drop off locations, vancouver downtown to/from whistler.

Burrard Station Downtown Vancouver - Hyatt/Burrard sky train station. Melville St. door entrance to the Hyatt. Melville St. is about 100m long at this block and there could be other buses at this stop when Epic Rides pull up, please watch for Epic Rides pulling up behind them, along Melville St, beside the Hyatt. Gateway Bus Loop Whistler Village - located in the heart of Whistler Village beside the Visitor Centre.

Richmond to Whistler

River Rock Casino (Richmond) - Epic Rides pick up passengers a 5 minute train ride (requires a small fare) from the Airport at the River Rock Casino and Resort in Richmond (get off at Bridgeport Station - 3rd stop). The airport train to Epic Rides pick up location is just 5 minutes away. After you get off the train, the pick up location is just a 1 minute walk to the front of the River Rock Casino and Resort. Please note this route is offered as Round Trip Only (one way trips not offered at this time). YVR Departure Gate - Epic Rides drops off passengers on the return trip from Whistler at the YVR Departures Gate between the International and Domestic Terminals. Hotel or Residence in Whistler - Epic Rides drops off and pick up at all hotels and hostels in Whistler. They also can drop off at residential addresses in Whistler (as far north as Rainbow), though they do tow trailers and may not be able to access all residental streets. In which case, they will get you as close as possible to your location.

Take the bus. You'll thank yourself! Love Skylynx. After you take the bus to Whistler or to YVR you won't ever want to drive again. Skylynx is fast (you get all the bus lanes), comfortable, has wifi, bathroom, etc. The driver, Michael, lives in Whistler and is as knowledgeable about the area as he is helpful.

Comfortable ride, great views enroute to Whistler! Bus was punctual, driver was friendly. Luggage was handled with care. Ride was comfortable. If you're travelling from downtown Vancouver to Whistler, I recommend not taking the "Express Bus". The regular bus that stops in Squamish is just off the highway and is a 5-10 minute layover only, not worth the extra fare for "Express" services. Would take again.

Needed to get to Whistler fast and didn't want to sit through the stops in DT and Squamish. Kiosk staff recommended the express bus to Whistler and it was perfect. Very smooth and quick trip from airport to Whistler. Already booked my return ticket from Whistler back to Airport later on the week with Skylynx.

2 things I love most in life - a good polish hot dog and a well-ran transportation service. Skylynx is the second one. Buses were new and had charge outlets and free wifi. The wifi was surprisingly fast. Exceptional service from the kiosk staff and the driver. The buses were clean and picked us right at the bus bay just steps from the airports exit doors which made it really convenient. Tickets are really well priced for how far the distance is between the mountain resort and airport!

Best way to travel Vancouver <=> Whistler! Clean comfortable bus with power sockets, working WiFi and a toilet & we arrived at the airport on time, despite the Vancouver rush hour traffic as we got to use the bus lanes through the city. Definitely better than self drive or a private car. Michael, the driver could not have been more friendly.

Highly recommended. Always buy flex tickets. The staff is extremely kind and supportive. You can ask then questions. Ensure the cleanliness onboard, they focus on that a lot. Washrooms available onboard. No stops on the way to get your drinks and snacks beforehand.

Punctual Whistler bus that picks-up in downtown and brings you to Whistler. Service was fantastic and the free wifi was faster than expected which was nice. I didn't end up using the wifi that much as the views were spectacular.

The views alone are enough for you to get on the bus and take the ride up to the mountain. Bus was clean and had free wifi which was spectacular. Service was prompt and the ticket prices was very reasonable. Absolutely no complaints and all compliments.

Cheapest transport option I found for YVR <> Whistler. Reasonable rates when I booked 2 months in advance. Large clean shuttle bus which was comfier than the smaller shuttles I've booked with other companies.

Unfortunately my return leg was actually to the airport and even though I knew sky linx went to the airport I ended up with a return ticket to downtown Vancouver instead and had to pay extra to upgrade the return leg to the airport. I’d guess quite a number of travelers want to do this - leave from the city but return to the airport for their flight home. It would be nice to get the prompts to ensure I get the right ticket s.
