Best dolphin cruise we have been on- we saw lots of dolphins and interacted with them. Captain Ken and Val were friendly and knowledgeable.
Captain Ken was so knowledgeable and such a fun person. We found lots of dolphins and he gave lots of time to take pictures and watch the dolphins play. Val was so friendly and helped find the dolphins. She is a great bartender. We would definitely do this tour again!!
Last weekend, I took a girls trip to Ft Myers with my mom and daughter. We decided that the dolphin & wildlife adventure cruise might be fun, and I am so glad that we decided to book this. Captain Ken and Val definitely made this a fantastic trip. The best part was some dolphins that were playing in the boat's wake...everyone on the boat was just in awe. So amazing!! It was definitely the highlight of our trip to Ft Myers! We can't wait to go back!
We had a great time on the dolphin cruise. It exceeded our expectations. The dolphins came right up to the boat and we got wonderful photos and video. The staff were kind and attentive. Also, great views of the houses in Fort Myers Beach, with commentary by the captain along the way.
We had a great time on our dolphin cruise! Ken was a great captain, knowledgeable and fun! Val was a fantastic bartender and very personable. We got up close to so many dolphins and watched them jump in the boats wake. So much fun for myself, my parents, and my toddlers loved it!! When we come back to the fort myers area we will definitely be doing this again!!

The Hurricane Fleet is the Original Myrtle Beach Dolphin Cruise company. We operate out of the closest port to the Atlantic Ocean, allowing for more time on the water….to search for Dolphins.
On days when the shrimp boats are running, we are able to pull right up behind to watch the dolphins feeding off the scraps and the nets coming out of the ocean full of fun critters. When the shrimp boat is running, the crew will toss up a bag of goodies for you to see, learn about, and touch if you’d like.
Our base is a cozy, quaint fishing town offering some of the world’s best seafood and unique shops. Located about 10 minutes outside of North Myrtle Beach, at the closest port to the ocean, you’ll have more time on the ocean enjoying the beautiful views of the Myrtle Beach area coastline.
This Dolphin Cruise & Tour runs from 1:30-3:30 pm and 4:00 – 6:00 pm most days. We often add a third trip as well. On select days we offer the Dolphin Cruise around sunset. This very popular trip often sells out fast. Whichever tour you take, you’ll have time to eat fresh, world class seafood right in the village before or after your trip. It’s a fantastic combo that families have been enjoying for years. Bring your camera , this is one tour that you’ll want to share.
IMAGINE THIS : Your dolphin tour begins with a nice cruise through the jettys and out into the ocean. As the Myrtle Beach coastline comes into view, our 90-foot tour boat cruises the coast in search of dolphins, giving you a full view of the coastline. This is an excellent way to see the area from a different perspective, while cruising along in a comfortable setting.
This Myrtle Beach dolphin cruise is a trip for the young, and old. Bring the whole family. Every kid on this trip will get a Free Shark Tooth to take home with them.

Great time here! Great staff, good value. Everything you need available. They have burgers, hot dogs, drinks, snacks, supplies Would definitely go with them again!
Great experience we went on the dolphin cruise and everyone had a good time.
I cannot believe how many dolphins we saw today! They were so beautiful. We had the best day. I definitely recommend this!
We saw Dolphins!
We did the Dolphin tour. We saw several dolphins. It was well worth it to get out on the ocean. My daughter did get a little sea sick but got through it and obviously it was no fault of hurricane fleet just bring some dramamine along.
By far the best dolphin cruise we have been on! Great crew, very informative and amazing dolphin sightings, plus the captain got right behind the shrimp boat so we could watch them pull their nets and dump the shrimp. It was AMAZING!!
Best dolphin cruise out there!
We LOVED this trip! The mates were so funny and personable, the Captain was really informative and his commentary about all the things we saw was so interesting. He really seems to love sharing the intercoastal waterway with people. We saw dolphins two minutes out of the docks and the captain turned the boat so everyone had a chance to see them. It was magical. The price was incredibly reasonable for a nice long cruise and there is not one single thing I would see done differently. Can't wait to see them again next year!
We took the sunset cruise and it was awesome. Got to see a lot of dolphins and the sunset was beautiful. The captain and crew were very friendly and knowledgeable. There were 14 of us ranging from age 14 months to 64 years old and everyone enjoyed it. For the price it was well worth the trip. Highly recommend
We took a trip with the Hurricane fleet crew, dolphin adventures. Fun ride, interesting facts, the dolphins were scarce on this day but, I would love to do it again.
Wonderful experience! Highly recommended! Captain and crew were awesome!
Loved everything about the dolphin tour. Sadly we didn't see any dolphins, but the Capitan & crew were phenomenal. The boat ride was glorious! The scenery was beyond beautiful! Honestly, for the price, even without seeing any dolphins, I'd absolutely pay to do it again. Very much worth it!

Recent Fishing Trip Reviews
I just got back from doing my last 2023 fishing trip from the Dolphin Docks. I may say these guys surely don't disappoint at all. This time was the 1st ... read more time I got on the flipper w Capt Clay & his mate Hue. It was somewhat rough, but this crew was awesome and took us to a great spot. I got a big surprise on this trip and got back to shore with a beautiful bull red. Just look at the golden color it has. Awesome job, Captain Clay & Hue!!! I shall return.
Great time on a 36 hour trip a year ago
Great Staff and Crew
Me and my son went on the captain Paul and enjoyed it a lot. Caught sand trout and undersized red snapper. Returned to water. Definitely going again
This is our second 36 hour trip with La Pesca this year. Both times were a blast! The captains are friendly and knowledgeable, if you aren’t catching they move to ... read more where they are. We’ve never went away empty handed! The deck hands are also quick and ready to help as well. I recommend using dolphin docks for any of your fishing trips!
Always have a good experience here rain or shine. This time was able to bring my kids out.

This is the second trip my granddaughter and I have chartered with this group, and I highly recommend taking a fishing trip with them. Their crews work hard to get ... read more you on fish and to keep you fishing. The first trip we limited out on Snapper, on the second trip we limited out on shark, and a had a few other fish as well... at the end of the trip the crew will pass a bucket for tips. We can’t guarantee seeing wildlife in the ocean, as dolphins are wild animals. It is illegal in the State of South Carolina to feed or trap dolphin for viewing. What is the season for the Ocean Sightseeing/Dolphin Watch?
At Express Watersports our Ocean Sightseeing/Dolphin Watch runs from March to early December.
What is 360 degree viewing?
360 degree viewing is a sales gimmick. There is no such thing as 360 degree viewing unless you're alone on a boat. All tour boats have people on board and dolphins are below the water line of a boat. People will stand up to see them down in the water. We position our vessel so that both sides and the back of the boat will get the opportunity to see the dolphins. All of our guests are free to walk around our boat and move from side to side. We do not have individual seating so that you're NOT trapped in your seat to see dolphin.
How do dolphins sleep?
Bottlenose dolphins never completely fall asleep. Dolphins only let one half of their brain sleep at a time. Dolphins let the right side of their brain go to sleep while the left side stays awake to control the breathing. Then, a little while later, the right side wakes up and the left side falls asleep.
What kind of dolphin will we see?
Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin
Do dolphins have friends?
Yes! Dolphins develop friendships that may last for more than 15 years! These dolphins often pair up and help each other out. Female dolphins also pick an 'auntie' dolphin to help them take care of their babies after birth!
Can we feed or swim with the dolphin?
No. there are federal guidelines that prohibit us from feeding or swimming with dolphin.
How many boats can be on one dolphin pod?
Noaa Marine guidelines states The maximum number of vessels within group of dolphins at any time should be no more than two.
What is the marine mammal protection act?
The MMPA prohibits the taking and importation of marine mammals and marine mammal products, where “take” means to harass, feed, hunt, capture, or kill any marine mammal, or to attempt to do so. "Harass" means to follow the same dolphin pod on multiple trips, rev engines and speed through the dolphins to scare them off so other boats cant see them, block the dolphins direction of travel, and getting closer than 50 yards, spending more than 30 minutes on viewing the same pod and swimming with and feeding dolphin is prohibited.
Are you apart of Dolphin Smart program?
Dolphin Smart program is a NOAA Federal Program. We follow all the guidelines set forth in the program. NOAA Dolphin Smart program is not available in the Carolinas so we can not be apart of it at this time.
How many years have you've been doing dolphin watches?
Since 1997. We started doing them on our Sunrise parasail trips. We had the dolphin logo on all of our advertisement. We started doing them on our dive boat in 2000 after dive trips. We run them daily. We are the longest running dolphin watch Family owned company in Murrells Inlet.
Are you carbon neutral?
This is another sales term gimmick tour companies use to promote their business as being green. Companies are promoting this in advertising to describe the business as buying carbon credits or carbon offsets to be "Carbon Neutral" to justify how much they are polluting the planet. It's quite simple. You're either creating emissions or you're not. Tour companies use this a book keeping trick to balance what they are doing in the environment. It is called Green Washing. It allows carbon emitters to keep on emitting carbon while masquerading as green company. Don't be fooled by this.

What Our Customers Are Saying
We went on the dolphin tour last Thursday and if you're thinking about taking one I highly suggest going with this outfit. They don't over pack the boat so everyone can see, you can sit in the shade if your prefer, there's a clean bathroom on board, and refreshments if you need them. The best part though other than obviously seeing the dolphins is the crews knowledge of the area and the animals that inhabit the land and water surrounding it. I learned so many cool things on our trip which is what made it for me. We've been out to see dolphins before and that was it a boat ride with sites no crew interaction so yeah I would definitely recommend these guys!! — Amanda L.
Wonderful experience! The crew were very knowledgeable and friendly and made the experience great! We loved seeing the dolphins and even got to see the first leatherback sea turtle of the season! Fun thing to do for your trip to Myrtle Beach! — John W.

Dana Point, California, is home to a magnificent amount of marine mammals. The marine life seen aboard a boat ride during the Dana Point dolphin and whale watching season can range from seals, sea lions, and sharks, to gray, blue, and humpback whales, but one family of marine wildlife leaves both seasoned and novice whale watchers astounded at their phenomenal presence.

With five different species of dolphins residing outside the Dana Point Harbor , many whale and dolphin watching passengers sport up one of our most commonly asked questions , such as where is the best dolphin watching near me.
If you’re new, local, or visiting the Dana Point Orange County area, then we have good news for you! Dolphin spotting in Dana Point is the best place to see dolphins, making your dolphin watching near me search a cinch.

Your dolphin cruise in the whale watching Southern California area may make for one of the best dolphin watching near me experiences of your life for many reasons.
One reason being the handful of dolphin species seen in our waters. These species include the long and short-beaked common dolphins , who measure in at 6 to 9 feet long and can weigh anywhere between 150 to 500 pounds. These dolphins swim in pods that typically number between 200 to 1,000 members, and at times in mega-pods of up to 10,000 strong! We have over 400,000 common dolphins along our coast making your dolphin watching near me dolphin cruise an exceptional experience when these cetaceans are nearby.
Another species includes the bubbly and beautiful bottlenose dolphins . The coastal and offshore bottlenose dolphin cruise along our coast, measuring in at 8 to 12 feet and making for some of the most playful, clever, and social dolphins seen aboard a dolphin watching near me whale watching tour.
Risso’s dolphins can also be seen aboard a dolphin cruise in Dana Point. Being one of the most unique looking and largest dolphins seen during a dolphin watching near me excursion, these somewhat shy and coy cetaceans are truly a sight to see. Reaching lengths of 10 feet long and weighing 1,100 pounds, their dark gray and white scarred body patterns make them a remarkable sight to behold.
Last but not least, pacific white-sided dolphins also touch down in our SoCal waters. This particular species of dolphin is one of the most gorgeous creatures to set eyes on during our wildlife watching tours. Their 300 to 400-pound bodies are colored with stunning shades of black, gray, and white. A local favorite among those searching for dolphin watching near me tours, these beauties speckle a smile upon the faces of any onlookers who catch a glimpse during their dolphin cruise.
Whether you spot common, Risso’s, pacific white-sided, or bottlenose dolphins during your ocean voyage, these curious cetaceans will not leave you disappointed. Friendly and knowledgeable staff made a pandemic-era outing feel normal. We had a pleasant experience on our dolphin tour, with a guide possessing a background related to ocean life. The educational aspect was appreciated, as well. My family would absolutely recommend this company!
