The Mark Todd Travel Boots offer maximum levels of protection to your horse’s legs when travelling.

They feature three wide hook and loop straps that ensure the boots are quick and easy to fit.

Manufactured from a hard wearing cordura nylon to protect from rubs, abrasions and knocks when travelling and a dirt repellent rip-stop nylon lining to help protect against those rips and tears that often occur. Featuring built-in scuffs plates around the base to prevent the fabric from fraying and to help protect and prevent injuries occurring to the coronet band.

The boots come with a co-ordinating tail guard which is included inside a reusable carry bag.

The front and hind boots both fitted really well – in fact, they’re an excellent fit.

The front boots are long enough to cover from the knee down to just below the coronary band.

They are also wide enough that they will still fit well if your horse has lots of bone and offer all-round protection.

The hind boots are shaped to fit neatly and comfortably over your horse’s hocks – another vulnerable area that can need protection when your horse is travelling.

The back boots are a good length and width, covering the coronet band.

The boots are lightweight with a good amount of padding for additional protection but without being too bulky and rigid.

All the horses that wore the boots for our testing could move freely in the boots for loading and unloading.

Mark Todd hind.JPG Both the front and back boots have three wide Velcro straps, which makes them quick to fasten and holds the boots securely in place without you having to over-tighten them.

The tough corder nylon outer fabric is showing not signs of wear, just a few small marks on the scuff plates.

For under £70 these boots also come with a free tail guard. These boots come highly recommended.

If there was a checklist of what makes the perfect country boot , these Mark Todd MKII boots would tick every box. They’re warm, waterproof, breathable, comfortable, supportive, have great grip and are stylish. They are now my go-to daily walking boots, and I can’t quite remember how I managed before I had them.

Made from full-grain and nubuck leather, these boots are soft to the touch, and on putting them on for the first time, they immediately felt comfortable and required no breaking in. The footbed is supportive, so these were great for all-day wear, and the chunky sole provided suitable grip. I find my heel gets rubbed quite easily when wearing new boots, but with these I had no problem at all. 

I first wore these boots for a walk on a cold January morning, with the temperature around -4 °C – my feet stayed toasty warm the whole time (noticeably warmer than in my trusty wellies). They had no trouble with icy puddles; it was reassuring to know that the boots are fully waterproof, rather than only to a certain depth, as is the case with some other country boots. 

The boots are true to size – I took my normal size and had no problems, the fit was very comfy and with room for thicker socks. The boots come in two leg widths – I’m a size 12 and the standard calf was perfect. However, they also have laces and a stretch panel at the top, so there is the possibility to pull them in or for some extra stretch if needed. At 5ft 10in, I was also pleased with the length of the boot, as I often find they come up short on me. 

These Mark Todd country boots give great support through the foot and ankle – while some country boots can be wider through the ankle and leg, such as the Derby House long country boots that I have also reviewed , I felt more comfortable in these when out and about walking or while traipsing through rutted fields. 

Having now worn these boots nearly daily for several months, I am really impressed with how they have held up. They haven’t dropped through the leg – a pet peeve of mine! – and they have stayed comfy and waterproof. On wearing them for some long walks in the warmer spring weather I have found my feet have got a little too hot, so I would say they are better as an autumn/winter boot.

At £154.99 , I thought these boots were very reasonably priced, especially as they are so versatile whether you’re at the yard, popping to the shops or going on a long walk.

Mark Todd Travel Boots are hard wearing and easy to use boots to keep your horses legs protected whilst travelling. These travel boots are made from a tough cordura outer with a reinforced scuff plate around the bottom of the boot to prevent the fabric from fraying and protect the coronet band. The inner lining of these Mark Todd Travel Boots is made from a rip-stop nylon that's designed to repel dirt to hopefully enable your horse to arrive clean and comfotable. Mark Todd Travel Boots are easy to use with three wide velcro straps to keep the secure and come with a free matching tail guard included in the bag.

We endeavour to post out your goods the same day they are ordered; however, in busy periods this can take a little longer.

• Standard UK delivery is £3.95 or free over £75* excluding non-Mainland, Highlands & Northern Ireland
• UK Mainland orders over £75 receive free delivery*
• UK Mainland Royal Mail Express is £5.95 an expedited tracked service.
• UK Mainland DPD Express Delivery is £5.95. If ordered on a Friday the next working day is Monday, in times of high parcel numbers DPD may deliver this on Saturday. There will be a text and/or email notification sent to let you know when DPD intend to deliver.

Returns Policy

• If you Return your item(s) to us within 3 Months of receipt, in unsoiled, undamaged and unused condition, we will happily Refund or Exchange them for you. This includes all tags still being attached and returned in the product packaging in which the items were sent out in. Please do not apply postal stickers directly on to the product packaging. E.g, footwear boxes, rug bags etc. In the event of these terms not being adhered to, we may be forced to deduct from your refund.
• Refunds within the statutory period are made in line with the Consumer Contract Regulations.

• Exchanges are subject to stock availability. Please check our website for up to date stock.
• For Exchanges, please forward a cheque payable to " Hope Valley Limited " to cover the new Outbound postage. • Where incorrect or faulty items are verified, Hope Valley Saddlery will usually provide a FREEPOST label via e-mail to cover the costs of the return postage (via Royal Mail). We will also cover outbound postage costs of any replacement goods required. Where the FREEPOST label is not applicable, any return postage costs will need to be agreed beforehand with our Returns Department to ensure this will be reimbursed. You must obtain proof of postage.
• In order to minimise potential fraud, all refunds will be made via the original payment method. Refunds may take up to 3 working days to appear back in your account.
• If you are returning a parcel from a non-EU country please follow these instructions

The Mark Todd Fleece Lined Winter Boots are the ideal choice for riding and competing in cold weather and are an incredibly popular winter riding boot. These smart long boots are made from nubuck leather and have a cosy fleece lining to keep your feet and legs warm while you brave the winter season.

Tough and sturdy, these Mark Todd Winter Boots have a durable rubber grip sole to give you stability and security in wet and slippy conditions. They also feature a full length rear zip with a leather zip pull, elastic inserts for comfort and flexibility and spur rests. These Mark Todd tall boots are finished with a branded pin on the side and are embossed with the "Mark Todd" signature branding on the heel.

Available in Black; Regular or Wide calf widths; sizes UK 1/Euro 31 - UK 10.5/Euro 45

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

We want to be crystal clear when it comes to managing your expectations; our website is stock managed to show you what items are available for same day dispatch and those which are externally warehoused and therefore, will take a little longer to arrive with you.

Simply make your product selections and a message will pop up telling you how long it will take us to dispatch your order; we call this our product availability message.  If you are happy with the product availability message on the item, checkout your order and we will ship your order in the timeframe stated.

If you have lots of items in your basket, please use the longest product availability message to work out when your order will arrive.  We care about our environmental impact, so we don't split ship orders unless you get in touch to request that we do so.  We will let you know on your order confirmation when we expect your order will arrive with you.

Whilst we do our best to meet the handling times stated in the product availability message, occasionally we can experience some delays in the delivery network.  At these times, a team member will email you to keep you updated on the progress of your order.

Selecting FedEx or DPD does not change our expected handling times; the service selected is always from the point of despatch not purchase.

·         It is   earlier than 1pm   (if it is later than this please get in touch before ordering as we may still be able to assist)

·         It is a   weekday   (weekdays are Monday - Friday)

·          All   items on your order show a product availability message of   "Express Warehouse: Despatched same / next working day"

·         You have selected   FedEx or DPD   as your delivery option during checkout

Delivery is the next working day (please note Saturday and Sunday are not considered working days; if you require a Saturday delivery there will be an additional charge and you will need to contact customer services prior to ordering)

If you are unsure, please call our team and we will do what we can to help you get your order promptly. 

Which couriers do you use?

Before choosing a courier, please make sure you are happy with the product availability message as these handling times apply before we ship your order.  If it doesn’t show “Express warehouse: immediate despatch”, it will not leave us on the same day you have placed the order.

We use   FedEx, DPD   and   Royal Mail   for most of our deliveries.  Some large items may come with other trusted 3rd party couriers.

Our   Royal Mail   economy service is usually delivered in   two - three days .  You will receive a text message and an email confirming the day of delivery; Royal Mail provide a four hour time window for delivery.

FedEx and DPD   are delivered   next working day   from point of despatch for UK mainland addresses or in two working days for Scottish Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland, and Irish addresses.  You will receive a text message and an email confirming the day for delivery. 

Selecting FedEx or DPD does not mean your order will bypass our handling times; FedEx and DPD are from the point of despatch, not the point of purchase. 

If an item has an "Oversized goods must select FedEx" overlay on it, please ensure you select FedEx as your delivery option to avoid any delays with your order.
