One of the best concerts I have EVER been to. The presentation of the set, the interaction the acts had with the audience and the atmosphere of the crowd was amazing. The only thing I would say is that the opening acts were meh, partly due to no one knowing who the hell they where but apart from that it was gud.

Mura masaaaa! pretty good mhm, pretty good. first impressions, smaller venue helped illustrate the sorta vibes present in his music. The addition of a stage hand singing majority of of the collaborated segments helped to remove pressure of alienation from the artist to the audience that usually occurs when voice is met without a mouth.The lack of visuals were a detriment to the show. I am a firm believer that visuals can make or break a djs performance and in this case the short minimal and in most cases boring and uninspired visuals really took me away from the music. Moments where visuals would occur would simply be a loop of small snippets from music videos and the flashing of "MURA MASA" and occasionally the name of the artist collaborating n the song. The other half of the performance was majority cast by a black screen which ultimately left me wishing for more. with his slow guitar droans and effortless percussion making quite the visual interest.

Additions of stage hands helped to truly lift the spirit of the audience and bring an exciting factor that I think would have been sorely missed without. The lack of visual interest was an sad loss for the performance and as such found the performance uninspired at times. Masa himself performed exceptionally.

Man, everything about this guy is carefully thought out, articulate and executed.

His best mate Bonzai comes out looking chic AF rocking red braids and keeps the energy up until my new best friend Fliss arrives, slaying with some killer moves, feeling the music and I'm eating it up.

Venue was magical and we were in the bleachers but didn't feel far from the action.

He was running around slaying samples, creating loops and then would pick up an instrument with expert flow, the whole.tbing was a sensory overload.

Fliss and Bonzai close out before the encore, then Nao comes out and brings firefly to life.

Crossan said it was "the best day of his life" and even lay down infront of his decks to be still and feel the moment, that was nice to witness and be a part of.

Best show, a must see.

‘Demon Time’ is the third album from the UK producer and songwriter born Alex Crossan, and sees the Guernseyman call on a starmix of hot talent to deliver a sugar rush of fizzy pop tracks.

It basically succeeds on the above terms. Bbycakes, which features the vocal talents of Lil Uzi Vert, PinkPantheress and Shygirl, is a synthetic pop song with a slow trap beat via UK garage sounds. 

The central lyrical refrain is the sort of autotuned vocal that can be heard all over modern pop music, but here it is layered with lots of other crackles, bleeps and ticks. It’s a bit of a mess compositionally, but just about holds it together.

Blessing Me, this time featuring Pa Salieu and Skillbeing, is another memorable cut. This toe-tapper uses a lot of the same drum patches, but is more spacey and the rapping is better. It also provides a really good lay up to the following track, Tonto.

Sung by Honduras-born singer Isabella Lovestory, this pared-back reggaeton track sounds like it might have been released by Spanish superstar Rosalía, but only if you weren’t really paying attention.And that's probably the central flaw with 'Demon Time'. The record survives by quickly moving on as soon as (or possibly before) tracks can develop a kind of critical depth. 

The most interesting thing about it is its updating of a highly specific UK garage sound, think Shanks & Bigfoot or Artful Dodger, and dropping it into an attention-grabbing, immediate homemade video. Basically, it's music for TikTok, and while that doesn't have to be bad, this rather is.

Hot on the heels of his 2022 Grammy Nomination for ‘Best Remixed Recording’, Mura Masa has today dropped brand new track, “2gether”. It’s his first taste of new music since 2020’s second album R.Y.C with Alex also co-producing PinkPantheress’ smash hit “Just For Me” and remixing the likes of Erika de Casier and Clairo under lockdown.

“2gether” is the unmistakable sound of Mura Masa as he enters a new chapter. The brooding, lo-fi track features vocals from 19-year-old singer-songwriter Gretel Hänlyn, whose debut single – “Slugeye” – Alex produced upon its release earlier this year. Teased to his diehard fan base on Tiktok earlier this week , ‘2gether’ showcases Mura Masa’s intricate production techniques and recalls the spontaneity of his genre-shaping, Soundcloud roots whilst also taking things somewhere new. Mura Masa is a platinum-selling, Grammy-Award-winning artist, producer and curator who resists simple categorization. His debut, self-titled album was released in 2017 to widespread acclaim, featuring some of the world’s biggest artists collaborating with a then-Guernsey-based teen on his own, thrilling take on what modern pop music should sound like.

It seems that fans of Melbourne’s Closure In Moscow just can’t get enough. Days after wrapping up their Supreme Turbo Facilitator Tour (selling out all but one of the shows) the popular five piece have announced their Singularity Tour featuring headline dates in all capital cities.

The tour marks the beginning of what plans to be a super massive travel cycle for Closure In Moscow as they head across to the U.S on the Warped Tour playing all 44 shows.

Support on the tour is from good buddies, Secrets In Scale. Tickets for all shows are on sale now.
