• We are open 7 days a week.
• Most are $299 per vehicle/tour.
• We do have premium vehicles that are $399 per tour.
• We do not charge per person, but per vehicle.

• The off-road park is NOT at the on-road UTV rental location in Gatlinburg, TN 🙂
• If any participant acts out of line or doesn’t follow the tour guides instructions, they will be guided out and asked to leave immediately.
• UTVs are pet friendly
• UTVs are child friendly with the proper equipment (i.e. car boosters)
• No alcohol, drugs, or similar substances.
• If it rains, the tour-guide has the option to cancel and refund your rental -or- reschedule your tour to a different date of your choosing. Your safety is our #1 priority, then your fun 🙂

Perfect weather and a good tour with a stunning view at the top. The Honda Talon 4 seater did us well!! Sadly because a family arrived when the tour was to start and not 30 minutes before as instructed, the tour started 30 mins late and even though we were told we would still get the full 90 minute tour, we didn't. It was cut short by 20 minutes which was extremely disappointing and the reason I wouldn't return. Offroad Gatlinburg should have made the family reschedule since they were late - instead the other 15 people in the tour suffered a shorter than advertised experience. We have been on many similar detours but this was the first where we didn't wear helmets, but both guides did.

Off-road Gatlinburg $1M view

Amazing doesn't even begin to describe how much fun this was! It was definitely one of the top highlights of our vacation. Expect to get a bit muddy and do some true off roading as your UTV climbs steep hills, goes around sharp bends, over large rocks, through deep ruts, through mud, etc all at a decent speed. The view at the top of their mountain was breathtaking and we had the opportunity to get out and take some pictures. Our guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and committed to us having fun in a safe way. I can't recommend this tour enough and you will not be disappointed!

We rented 3 times during our week in Gatlinburg and enjoyed every single time. 2 of the 3 were the off road tours and Luke and Lucas were our guides. Both were great guides! the Sunset tour was our favorite because of the beautiful view and extra time riding waiting for the perfect sunset shot. We come to the mountains a lot and will use this company every time! One piece of advice - buy the goggles! So worth it. That way you can experience the whole ride with eyes wide open!!

Avoid this place. Went on an awful tour today. Didn't break 10 mph more than twice. The staff lost half the tour on the mountain and made us stay seated in a line for 20 mins while they searched the mountain. On their website, they advertise it as great for guys. What type of guy pays $300 for an hour and a half ATV rental and wants to go under 10 mph the whole time? So lame. The tour was supposed to be an hour and a half. I don't think we actually drove more than 50 mins but we spent plenty of time sitting in line doing nothing. A total scam. Oh and if your wondering the address is 890 Spurgeon Hollow road and it's probably a lot further than you thought if your staying in Gatlinburg. There's so many places to rent these things. Don't use these guys.

We booked two 6 person vehicles for a group of 11. They let us switch drivers at a couple of points so those that wanted to & had licenses could drive. (We could have booked more vehicles but wanted to keep costs down for our group) there were a couple other groups/families combined with us for the tour. The guide (Corey, if I remember correctly) was awesome. We had a great time bouncing up and down the hills and through the creeks. It was very dusty so be sure to bring some sunglasses or goggles to protect your eyes!

Was looking for a real off-road side by side tour, not one that only takes you downtown around the horde. Off-Road Gatlinburg is the only place to go!! Skylar "I think that's her name" was our lead. Beautiful trails, a little technical but not super hard. This place has it all!!! Climbs, mud, views... top of the line machines! We got the Polaris RZR.. tons of power and an absolute blast. If you're looking for the best in the business, Book Off-Road Gatlinburg!!! Don't forget to pet the horses while you're there!! 10/10 definitely do again!!

If you're looking for TRUE off-roading, this is the company you want to go with for that adventure! Our guide, Simon, took us on many ups, downs, twists, and turns. We got dirty and loved every minute. One of my favorite parts was the lookout point with the amazing views. Can't wait to go back!

Had an awesome time driving through the Roaring Fork Drive. Carlos and the other staff were very friendly and nice to work with.

An outstanding Extreme Off-Road Tour adventure for our group of five adults and four teens! One of the owners, Luke Oley, and his brother met us in the Gatlinburg office. They were especially helpful in giving us personalized service and recommendations. We rented two four-seaters (a Talon and a CanAm X3), and one of our party drove with Luke. The vehicles were well-maintained and in superior condition. The excellent guides in the field made safety a priority. The course was challenging, and everyone had a lot of fun. We followed some tight and winding trails to a mountain overlook that offered gorgeous Smoky Mountain views. There were opportunities to switch drivers too. By the end of the trip, the most hesitant driver among us (her first time doing an off-road experience) wanted to do it all over again. We highly recommend Off-Road Gatlinburg for an active adventure in the mountains! Definitely a great family activity for teens. A+!

Bluff Mountain Adventures offers guided ATV trail rides on 6,000 acres of Smoky Mountain trails that explore the foothills of East Tennessee. Your tour will climb the mountain, cover some rugged terrain and experience spectacular views!

Come and drive one of our ATVs or UTVs to the bluff! We offer guided tours that have beautiful views, and offer an adventure that will make a long lasting memory. Anyone under 16 years old must be 57″ tall to participate. Rides go out Monday through Saturday at 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 4:00 PM.   We STOP selling tickets 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to the listed ride times.  Tickets must be purchased IN PERSON at the ticket office; we do not accept reservations over the phone or online.   However, tickets can be purchased a day or two in advance; again must be in person.  When coming in to purchase your tickets,  EVERYONE  going on the ride  MUST  come in with you and make sure  16 and older  have their  IDs with birthdate  with them. Unfortunately,  WE DO NOT HAVE PUBLIC RESTROOMS AT THE TICKET OFFICE.

Bluff Mountain Adventures

Enjoy a guided ATV or UTV adventure on 6000 acres of land and Smoky Mountain trails, where you will experience some amazing views. Anyone under 16 years old has to be at least 57″ to participate, so this isn’t for the younger ones. The offer several different trails so you can choose the one that best meets your skill level.

You must purchase your tickets in person, and everyone who is planning on riding must be present when you purchase, even if you’re not riding that day. Bring ID for anyone driving.

Firefox Mountain ATV Adventure

Firefox Mountain Adventure Park has ziplining, hiking, outdoor activities and Bear Crawler ATV trail rides! Ride with a tour guide to the top of a mountain and enjoy an awesome ATV adventure to the top of the mountain along the way. Tours last an hour and children as young as 3 can ride, so this is something the whole family can have a great time doing.

The 8-wheeled Bear Crawler ATV’s go through all kinds of terrian and is amphibious, even splashing through creeks and mud, so be prepared to get wet and/or dirty! The best stops are the historic iron mine and Lost Mine Falls.

Best Off Road Park Near Gatlinburg

If you are headed to this park, you will need to bring your own vehicle to ride, whether that is a Jeep or another SUV or even a mountain bike (but no ATV’s or SXS vehicles).

Outdoors in the Smokies

This place may say “Jeep Trails” but they welcome all kinds of different vehicles, makes and models, so don’t feel left out if you offroad in a different type of vehicle! They have miles of trails and have broken them down for easy, moderate and difficult levels. You can also book a primitive campsite here, which is really cool.

They are by appointment only, so make sure you call first before heading out, and they don’t allow atv/sxs vehicles. They also have mountain biking you can reserve, so check them out for mountain bikers.

Street Legal UTV Rentals

If you’re interested in renting a UTV but aren’t quite ready for off-roading in one, consider one of these companies that allow you to rent a UTV to drive around the Gatlinburg area.

Mountain Life UTV Rentals

There are so many different vehicles to choose from here – from a smaller 2 seater to a few seating 6 people! If you have a large family like we do (four kiddos), then one of these vehicles might be right for you. They also meet all competitor’s pricing for UTV rentals, but be aware they are NOT for off-roading. This is a great way to see the Smokies on the paved streets.

Rocky Top Adventure Rentals

This is another great place to rent UTV’s with up to six seats, but again, these are not for off-roading. You can rent these for up to a week at a time! They also have other vehicles for rent including Slingshot/Vanderhall, Jeep/Bronco, and Corvette. If you’re looking to get behind the steering wheel of a fun ride in the Smokies, check them out.

Common Questions about Off Road Parks Near Gatlinburg TN

There are UTV trails in the Smoky Mountains, but they are not as common as Jeep trails. There are a few places that allow UTV’s on their trails (listed above, and these are tours), but the majority of places only allow Jeeps and other similar vehicles.

You can drive a UTV on the street in Gatlinburg as long as it is street legal. There are a few places that will rent you a street legal UTV, and you can find those listed above.

You can also find a gravel road to take a ride on near the park if you want an outdoor adventure that’s not quite as rugged as the off road trails but still a good time. If you want a quiet scenic drive, try the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail, Blue Ridge Parkway or Cades Cove Loop Road. Try Smoky Mountain Jeep rentals for a nice ride, and check out old homesteads and historic buildings.

Gatlinburg Spur to have temporary single-lane closures. Here's when to expect delays

The section of U.S. Highway 441 known as the Spur will have single-lane closures beginning April 24, while crews complete roadside maintenance.

The single-lane closures along the Spur through Great Smoky Mountains National Park will be in effect April 24-25, and then April 29-May 2, according to the National Park Service.

The work is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Motorists driving between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge might experience temporary delays.

Crews are mowing road shoulders, picking up litter, cleaning ditches, removing downed trees, and replacing missing or damaged road signs, according to the park service release. Lane closures ensure worker safety.
