Queen's campus tours, in-person campus tours.
A list of available tour dates can be found below. Note that if a date is "sold out" we are unable to add your name to a waitlist.
Tours leave from the front entrance of Gordon Hall (74 Union Street West). Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes before your tour time. Tours last approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours, so please dress for the weather and bring comfortable footwear. Tour guides will meet attendees in front of the building to check them in. All tours follow an accessible route.

Tour Overview
Queen Mary University’s Mile End campus has evolved around pre-existing religious, welfare and educational buildings and institutions. This tour around the campus offers glimpses into the area’s eighteenth and nineteenth-century social history, in particular the lives of migrants, the working poor and the destitute, via these surviving fragments.
Tour includes: Queens Building (formerly the People’s Palace, (E.R. Robson, 1887) including the Octagon, Mile End Hospital (formerly parish workhouse, William Dobson, 1858), Novo Cemetery (1733, extended 1855) - one of only two surviving Sephardic Jewish cemeteries in England.

Can I come and visit the University before I start my course?
We have open days in June and October for prospective undergraduate students, where you will be able to take part in taster lectures, speak to University staff and students and view our facilities and campus accommodation.
We also organise campus tours of our Mile End campus that take place twice a week, throughout the year. Campus tours are led by Queen Mary student ambassadors who will take you are the university's key facilities. They last approximately one hour.
We also have a number of Postgraduate open evenings ; check online for the latest information.
If you are an international student, our International Office will be happy to accommodate visits throughout the year and can set aside time during your trip to Queen Mary to discuss your study options.
