I've worked with Scholastica numerous times! I'm so very impressed with the friendliness and professionalism with everyone on their staff! They goes the EXTRA mile to make sure the tour goes well and the customer is happy! Look forward to many more trips with Scholastica Travel!

Let me begin by sharing. I have not traveled in over 20 years! Last year, after a family member visited from the UK, I decided I would love to return the visit the following year. I had this conversation with my friends at work, and it was suggested that I contact Scholastica Travel, and specifically Consultant Nancy Peksa. My destination in the UK was Bristol, not an easy one from Pittsburgh. I had some questions and Nancy fielded all with professional precision. She found flights and times that worked for me and we booked my maiden UK voyage. The flights were the best and everything went off without a hitch! I'm now planning a second trip in August to Bristol, then onto Edinburgh, Scotland, back to Bristol, then returning to Pittsburgh. Nancy did all the flights and hotel accommodations. I have every confidence that this trip will be as splendid as the first. Thank you, Scholastica Travel, and especially Nancy for her indepth knowledge of the travel industry and first class customer service. This past May, I took several Seton Hill Education students on a multicultural field experience in Costa Rica. Scholastica Travel organized the trip and handled all the logistics with extreme attention-to-detail and care. Their knowledge of the area was amazing and their desire to understand our needs and goals for this experience was much more than I could ever have imagined. They not only recommended excellent sights and activities, they anticipated situations and needs before they ever arose... even our hired driver was amazing! I can't say enough good about my experience working with Scholastica. Truly enjoyed the FAM trip with Scholastica Travel. All guides were very friendly, helpful and informative. This trip we were able to tour the some new museums around Gettysburg, the White House, the Capitol and the library of Congress. Our driver Rob was friendly, funny and helpful. Highly recommend taking a trip with any guide within this crew!

We have been working with Scholastica Travel now for numerous years for our school’s senior class trip. Every year the planning, the attention to detail, and the great personalized trip is amazing. Shout out to Tammy, Diane, and Cindy who make this trip possible for us. We had fantastic bus drivers, hit all the important tour stops, and learn lots about our country’s great history. We just had our 8th grade class trip with a group of 54. I have to say it was a wonderful experience as a chaperone. Kids enjoyed them selves. But, what made this trip Amazing were our tour guides Janet and Lisa, their knowledge of the monument's was amazing. Let’s not forget about our amazing bus driver Mr Kline for keeping everyone safe on the roads. Best experience ever.

Our school has used Scholastica Travel for many years and we have always been impressed with their tour guides, itineraries, and helpfulness. We just returned from a three day trip to Philadelphia and Gettysburg. The weather was not cooperative, but the trip was well planned, great hotels, and the best tour guide, Lyn, handling any issues. Lyn is absolutely amazing, full of historical facts, great with the students, takes care of everyone, and quick thinking when problems arise. In the office Mary Lynn is extremely professional and ready to handle any requests. Highly recommend Scholastica Travel!

2024-Liberty once again had a wonderful trip to Washington, D.C. The office staff was easy to work with in planning the trip. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable and offered students a lot of great information. Overall, another great 8th grade trip full of memories for all involved.

Awesome trip to New York City! Tour guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The bus driver was the best! He had a great personality and handled the bus skillfully and safely in the Big Apple. And I can't forget the office staff: they really know what they are doing!!!

This was a great trip to Washington D.C. the tour guides were very knowledgeable and we all learned a lot of history. Great experience. The 8th graders from Heritage seemed to have a great time. Thankful I was able to go with my son so he could experience D.C.

Scholastica Travel is a top notch class act! The guides and tour directors are second to none! They are so very knowledgeable and organized to give the best experience possible! Scholastica Travel has always an excellent job with my school district. They work hard to create a memorable experience for our 8th grade students at DC every year at Liberty Middle School. As a past chaperone I have always felt at ease because I knew I was in good hands. The group is so detailed and helps create a jam packed educational and fun opportunity for our kids. All the leaders that travel with us are professional, very knowledgeable, and very personable with students and staff. Heading back from a high school senior trip to New York City! Scholastica was very helpful when our school had to make some drastic changes to our list of school employees. They worked with us through emails and calls to make sure that we had what we needed to make our trip successful.

I was a chaperone with a middle school group of almost 50 kids visiting Washington D.C. and Scholastica Travel did a great job! We had 2 buses and 2 tour guides. The bus drivers were excellent with navigating us through the city while both tour guides were informative and helpful for the entire 3-day trip. I have organized an 8th-grade trip to Washington, D.C., with a few different companies, and Scholastica has been the best! They are knowledgeable, attentive, and helpful. DC was by far one of the best places I have ever visited. There was so much to see and do. I got to take this trip with my step sons 5th grade class and it was so much fun. It is definitely a memory that him or I will ever forget. Especially laying the wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. I definitely will be bringing my entire family back here very soon. I was sad to leave.

I just returned from a 3 day adventure which included Gettysburg and DC. This was a perfect combination of fun, education and enough free time to absorb each day’s experience. Even the bus driver and hotel staff made you feel special and welcomed. Scholastica ensured that everyone felt included in the fun (through out this 3 day experience)!!!

Scholastica Travel, Inc. has been our tour company for at least 20 years! This was our first trip since the pandemic shut down our trip in 2020. Tammy and the rest of the team at Scholastica made sure it was an amazing trip! We are very particular about our itinerary and Scholastica is always willing to work our itinerary the way we like it! Hi ***, I am writing in reference to your letter dated 3/26/15 for customer complaint ID [redacted] . We are very sorry that the customer is upset over the refund. We feel that we have one of the most lenient cancellation policies in the... school travel industry. The customer cancelled 17 days prior to the trip. Our refund policy when cancelling 14 to 29 days prior to the trip is a 75% refund less any non-refundable deposits. Final payment is due 30 days prior, at which time, we need to pay some of the suppliers in order not to lose the reservation. The most expensive admission for this trip was the dinner cruise, which is non-refundable. Also, the package price is based on the number of people on the trip. When participants cancel, rather than charge more money to those on the trip, we use the refund policy percentage to help cover the fixed costs so the tour participants don’t need to pay more money. Therefore, we were only able to refund the portion that the customer received. We apologize that the customer is not satisfied with the refund. It was a great way for me to learn more about the field that I am passionate about. The medical course was so informational and one of the best experiences. Just loved the life at Oxford Scholastica, the tutors were excellent and excelled in their fields, the activities we participated in were some I was learning for the first time and the friends I made from all around the world were some of the kindest people I met. I’m still in touch with all of them even though it’s been two years now. The memories I made there were definitely worth a lifetime. Still look back and feel nostalgic at times.
