Aespa World Tour 2024 Schedule: List of All Cities & Dates

On February 19, 2024, SM Entertainment announced the first portion of the second Aespa world tour: the 2024 Aespa Live Tour – SYNK: Parallel Line -. While it has not yet been confirmed how many cities the tour will reach in total, SM has confirmed 13 cities and 19 dates so far. “SMTOWN Live World Tour VI” Gathers 61 Artists; Thrills 45,000 Fans In Seoul

Smtown live begins.

61 artists from one of the biggest entertainment agency in South Korea gathered for a night of performances on July 8.

SM Entertainment (SME) kicked off its SMTOWN Live World Tour IV at the Seoul World Cup Stadium with 45,000 fans, marking the first time in three years that SMTOWN Live happened in Seoul.

A star-studded line up graced the stadium, including some of the hottest and well-known South Korean artists. Headlining the concert were BoA, TVXQ’s Yun Ho, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, f(x), EXO, Red Velvet and NCT 127.

SME artists performed their greatest hits, and held collaboration stages to perform legendary K-Pop singers’ tracks. Pop diva BoA unveiled her latest track “CAMO” on that night. The 30-year-old singer collaborated with EXO’s youngest member Se Hun for “Only One”. She also treated fans with a live performance of “My Name” and “The Shadow”.

The Seoul World Cup Stadium also saw the return of TVXQ’s Yun Ho after completing his mandatory military service last April. He performed his new song “Drop” and TVXQ hit songs “Why”, “Mirotic” and “Somebody to Love”.

Girls’ Generation led fans back to 2009 with hit song “Gee”. The eight-member girl group also performed “Hoot”, “Party” and “Lion Heart”. SNSD members Hyo Yeon, Tiffany and Tae Yeon held stages during the concert, with their respective solo songs such as “Wannabe”, “I Just Wanna Dance” and “Rain”.

SMTOWN Live saw the four active members of Super Junior, Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung and Shin Dong, performing their hits “Sorry Sorry”, “Bonamana”, and “Magic”. The members also sang their solo songs and collaborated with other artists. Members Kangin and Sungmin chose to sit out of the concert due to issue of fans’ boycotting in lieu of their participation.

Aside from Taemin and Jong Hyun’s solo stages, SHAWOLs were treated with SHINee’s “1 of 1”, “Replay”, “Sherlock”, “Everybody” and “View”. EXO, who is currently gearing up for a comeback, prepared stages of “Overdose”, “LOTTO”, “Don’t Go”, and “Monster”. Its sub-unit EXO-CBX also performed “Hey Mama!”. Member Lay was unable to participate in the concert.

f(x) was represented by Luna with her solo song “Free Somebody”, while Red Velvet performed “Russian Roulette”, “Dumb Dumb”, “Red Flavor” and “Rookie”. The youngest members of SMTOWN, NCT U, NCT 127 and NCT DREAM, performed their respective songs, such as “7th Sense”, “Limitless”, “Cherry Bomb”, and “My First And Last”.

SMTOWN capped off the first concert of its sixth global tour with H.O.T’s “Light”. The tour will next head to Japan for a total of four concerts in Kyocera Dome in Osaka on July 15 and 16, and at Tokyo Dome on July 27 and 28.

Here’s the Line-up for SMTOWN Live Concert in Tokyo in 2024

The concert series will be held on february 21-22,2024.

SM Entertainment has unveiled the stellar lineup for the highly anticipated SMTOWN LIVE 2024: SMCU Palace in Tokyo concert series. 

Taking place at the iconic Tokyo Dome from February 21-22, 2024 this marks the 20th installment of the prestigious SMTOWN LIVE show at this renowned venue.

Building on the success of last year’s SMTOWN LIVE 2022: SMCU Express @Tokyo, which drew a staggering 150,000 attendees over three days, the upcoming concerts on February 21 and 22 are poised to continue this legacy. Notably, this event will mark the return of SMTOWN LIVE to the Tokyo Dome after the sold-out shows last August 2022.

The star-studded roster includes Kangta, TVXQ, Super Junior, Taeyeon and Hyoyeon from Girls’ Generation . Also performing are groups Red Velvet, NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV, aespa, RIIZE, and NCT NEW TEAM. From the teaser alone, fans are already anticipating unforgettable performances from these diverse and talented roster of artists. 

Beyond individual performances, the audience can anticipate special collaboration stages featuring members from different groups. Although there’s no confirmation yet as to which artists will be collaborating, it still adds  an extra layer of excitement to an already electrifying concert experience. 

As SM Entertainmen t brings its signature concert series to Tokyo once again, fans can expect a celebration of music, unity, and unforgettable moments at the SMTOWN LIVE 2024: SMCU Palace in Tokyo.

SMTOWN in 2023

Unsurprisingly, the SMTOWN LIVE 2024: SMCU Palace in Tokyo will be one of the most anticipated events from SM Entertainment after the agency had a series of shake ups this year. 

As for the lineup, it’s noticeable how EXO is not part of the performers. Although the agency didn’t disclose any reason, fans are attributing it to the possibility of the members’ contract with the label. To recall, Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin had a legal battle with SM Entertainment, while members Sehun and Chanyeol were also rumored to leave the agency. Meanwhile, D.O. has signed with Company SooSoo for his individual activities. 

Aside from EXO, NCT also had a series of changes. In May, SM Entertainment announced the departure of Lucas from NCT and WayV. Meanwhile, former NCT members Sungchan and Shotaro debuted with SM Entertainment’ s newest boy group, RIIZE, instead. Furthermore, NCT has also formed NCT NEW TEAM, the last chapter to their expansion concept. 

Given these changes, fans are looking forward to seeing how SM Entertainment would fare in 2024.

SMTOWN To Kick Off 6th World Tour In July Featuring Yunho's Solo Stage

It has been announced that the artists of SM Entertainment will be holding “SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR VI in SEOUL” on July 8 at Seoul’s World Cup Stadium.

TVXQ’s Yunho , who was discharged from the military a month ago, will be holding a solo stage during the concert.

Tickets for the concert will go on sale starting May 30 at 8 p.m. KST through the ticketing website YES24.

SMTOWN LIVE concerts began back in 2008, touring cities like Seoul, New York, LA, Paris, Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Bangkok, and Singapore.

SM Entertainment to hold first in-person ‘SMTOWN LIVE’ concert in five years

'SMTOWN LIVE 2022: SMCU Express @ Human City Suwon' will take place in Seoul this August

South Korean music label SM Entertainment has announced the return of its in-person ‘SMTOWN LIVE’ concert for the first time since 2017.

The entertainment company announced earlier today (June 30) that it would be holding its first in-person ‘SMTOWN LIVE’ concert in five years, titled ‘SMTOWN LIVE 2022: SMCU Express @ Human City Suwon’. The last iteration of the concert with a live audience was 2017’s ‘SMTOWN LIVE World Tour VI’.

Set to take place on August 20, 6pm KST at Seoul’s Suwon World Cup Stadium, it will mark the physical return of SM Entertainment’s trademark ‘SMTOWN LIVE’ concerts. Notably, the upcoming show will also be SM Entertainment’s first since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

More information regarding how to purchase tickets and the concert’s line-up will be announced by the label at a later date.

According to The Korea Herald , SM Entertainment also announced a separate ‘SMTOWN LIVE’ concert to be held in Tokyo, Japan. SM Entertainment acts such as Kangta, BoA , SUPER JUNIOR , Girls’ Generation , SHINee , Red Velvet , NCT and aespa are set to perform as part of the ‘SMTOWN LIVE 2022: SMCU Express @ Tokyo’ from August 27 to 29 at the Tokyo Dome.

Meanwhile, girl group aespa recently dropped the visual for their English-language track ‘Life’s Too Short’ , lifted from their forthcoming sophomore mini-album ‘Girls’, due out July 8. The new record is set to be led by a title track of the same name, and will also feature the previously  released track ‘Illusion’ , as well as a Korean version of ‘Life’s Too Short’.

SM Entertainment’s Family Concert SMTOWN LIVE Returns In-Person After 5 Years

SM Entertainment’s family concert series SMTOWN LIVE will return after five years away.

SM Entertainment has shared in a press release that their SMTOWN LIVE series will return on August 20 with SMTOWN LIVE 2022 : SMCU EXPRESS @HUMAN CITY_SUWON. This will be the first in-person concert for SMTOWN LIVE since 2017. Fans will be able to expect SM Entertainment’s full lineup of artists and colorful stages that showcase each artists’ individuality.

The concept for the concert will be a compilation of performances that will tour the major cities of the world on the SMCU EXPRESS. Currently, four concerts are planned, with August 20 being the Korea concert and August 27-29 at the Tokyo Dome.

The exact lineup of artists has not yet been announced.

Red Velvet, aespa, WayV, and Baekhyun world tours? SM Entertainment reveals 2023 plans for their artists

On February 24, SM Entertainment uploaded another video on YouTube explaining their plans for the era of SM 3.0.

On this day, co-CEOs Lee Sung Soo and Tak Young Jun appeared in the video to share some of the plans that the company has for the promotions of their various artists in response to the questions asked by fans concerning SM 3.0.

According to the 2023 plan, SM will focus on promoting their artists and releasing more albums this year.

In the year 2023, TVXQ , SHINee , EXO , Red Velvet , NCT 127 , NCT Dream , WayV , NCT , and aespa will all release studio albums. On top of the studio albums, there will be unit groups and solo artists who will also release albums. Fans were more excited about the concert tours as Super Junior, Baekhyun, Red Velvet, WayV, and aespa will have world tours while the other artists will have various fan meetings and smaller tours.

Many are ecstatic to hear the news of the planned 2023 activities of SM artists and commented , " Oh wow, Red Velvet world tour is coming," "I'm definitely going to Taeyeon's concert," "Please release Xiumin's second mini-album," "NCT DREAM U.S. and Europe tour, let's go," "Wow, TEN is going to release a solo album!" "Finally Red Velvet gets their full-length album," "D.O. needs new songs," "SHINee is going to get busy!" "NCT Dream studio album and world tour!"  and " There are so many teams making comebacks!"

The American rock band THE MAINE is bringing their highly-anticipated  THE MAINE THE SWEET SIXTEEN TOUR IN MANILA  to the  Skydome, SM City North EDSA,  on  September 27 and 28, 2024 ! This isn’t just any concert – it’s a two-night extravaganza with two unique setlists that will make you fall in love with them all over again! 

Formed in 2007 in Tempe, Arizona, THE MAINE has been capturing hearts worldwide with their unique sound and heartfelt lyrics. Known for their dynamic live performances and fan-centric approach, they’ve built a loyal following. Since their debut, they’ve released nine studio albums and numerous EPs, earning them a spot as one of the most beloved bands in the scene. Their latest self-titled album, released via 8123 and Photo Finish Records, continues to receive acclaim and showcases their evolution and dedication to their craft.

THE MAINE has a special bond with their Filipino fans.
