Testimonials
The US Am Tour is an extremely well-run tour that provides quality tournaments at outstanding venues. I enjoy the opportunity to compete for trophies and prizes and have met many competitors who have become great friends. If you love golf and like to compete, you have to join!
The US Am Tour is run in a very professional manner by local & regional tournament directors at top-notch venues. The multiple flights are suited for all levels of players. The camaraderie with players you meet at each event is great & the level of competitiveness is high, so bring your A-game. The tournaments will make you play within your own abilities & tests all aspects of your game. Try and minimize the bad holes and go have fun doing it!
The US Am tour is special to me because of the friendships and camaraderie you build with people who love the game as much as you do. With their flight system it opens up competitive golf to all ages and skill levels and drives you to work harder to get to the next level in your own game. We play amazing courses, with great competition and the chance to feel like a pro is what keeps me coming back for more. Thank you US Am Tour!
As a Senior still working full time, playing golf is enjoyable. And playing competitive golf is great fun. But playing golf on the US Am Tour is the ultimate competition for those of us “committed” amateur golfers. Competitive golf helps me to improve and test my golf game against other players of the same age and skill set. That is the unique quality of the USAT. The tournament venues, while varied with both private and public courses, always present challenges. As the USAT is a true Amateur tour, you can set your schedule to include course venues, cities, and regions that you live in or would like to travel to. Qualifying events are never a prerequisite for entry. Friendships are made with your fellow competitors, with genuine respect for each other. The end result is quality competitive golf, with a professional tour staff that makes for the ultimate amateur golf experience.
After picking up golf as an adult, The US Am Tour has been an amazing way to learn the game and meet good friends through friendly competition. My first year on Tour, I placed 2nd in the 20+ flight at Nationals the year my husband took 1st place in the 12.0-15.9 flight. Now, after playing many Am Tour events together, I have improved my game and won my first US Am Tour tournament in Hogan (8.0-11.9)! Nationals is an awesome week and brings together all of the amazing friends we have made over the years. US Am Tour has become our little golf family, and I am so thankful to be a part of this amazing group!
I really like the camaraderie, the courses, and definitely the competition. These parts of the US Am Tour combined with top notch run tournaments has definitely helped me step up my game!
What I enjoy about playing on the US Am Tour is I get to play competitive golf and meet great people that become lifelong friends. Playing competitive golf has truly made me a better tournament player. 10 years ago when I started playing competitively more often I was a 15 handicap and have worked my way into a mid-single digit now and am having a lot of fun!

About THE TOUR
A letter from matt johnson - ceo.
I am excited to bring you the #1 experience in Amateur Golf!
Our roots started in Cincinnati, Ohio as the Golf Channel AM Tour, established our tournament model independently under The Queen City AM Tour and regionally grew as the American Heartland Tour. We now expand into a National Tour founded as the NAGT.
Our Mission is to grow the game by connecting players and partners with organized and professionally run amateur tournaments for all ages and skills levels. What makes us unique is our focus on your player experience.
Our tour offers players and partners with a unique culture built around camaraderie, competition, and charity! We proudly connect our players and sponsors to their local communities while playing alongside their local heroes; Veterans and First Responders.
We welcome all who love the game as much as we do and support our vision to grow the game, bring people together, and operate with integrity.
There is no cost to join the tour, membership is optional so give us a try. For those who want to become supporters then membership will help you play more often and more affordably.
The NAGT is the first to offer a stand alone division for Veteran, First Responder, Ladies, and Super Seniors 65+ players along with crowning National Champions in both gross and net scoring for Open and Senior.
When you participate in the NAGT you help grow the game, support your local community, and connect to great people through the common interest of golf and helping others; this is more than just a round of tournament golf. It's about building lifelong friendships.
Thank you for your support of the NAGT and we look forward to seeing you soon!

At AmateurGolf.com, tournaments are our business. The primary mission of the company is to provide information about thousands of amateur tournaments across the globe, but we run a pretty good event ourselves. Some of the things you can expect from any of the events on the AmateurGolf.com Tour are quality courses, a competitive field, web-based administration, and a team who is dedicated to "getting it right." Following is some basic information about the Tour:
- Benefits of Membership: The AmateurGolf.com Tour is open to all players, however members of our website are provided with substantial discounts for each tournament and advance notice of early savings offers. For most events the single year membership fee is paid for with the member savings. Other membership benefits include a Golfweek subscription, unlimited access to our website's tournament listings, rankings, player profiles, and more.
- Non-member registrants should contact us to register.
- Eligibility and Divisions: Tournaments are open to men and women; the minimum age for the Senior Scratch division is 50 as of the first day of the tournament. Players should be at least 14 years of age to enter; younger players will be allowed pending AmateurGolf.com approval based on their past tournament experience. If there are enough women in a tournament a separate women's division will be scored, otherwise women can player either the Net Division (when offered), or the Championship Division from the same tees as the men. AmateurGolf.com reserves the right to cancel the Net competition if not enough players enter to fill out two pairings.
- Handicaps: Players with handicaps above 6 should enter the Net Division (when offered). The maximum individual handicap index of 18.0 is meant as a guideline for entry into the Net Division, not a hard-and- fast limit. Players who are concerned about handicap fluctuations can enter the tournament without worry, but a maximum index of 18.0 will be utilized in computing their Net score.
- An official USGA handicap index is required for entry, and Californians may obtain a handicap by joining the AmateurGolf.com NCGA or SCGA Associate Club. ( Login now to setup your account by selecting "Associate Club" under membership type -- existing members who wish to upgrade should call 760- 929-9297)
- Posting Scores for Handicap: For all AmateurGolf.com Tour events except for the Two Man Links Championship, we will post scores to GHIN for handicap purposes after each round. Therefore it is important for players to have their current GHIN in their member profile.
- Caddies are allowed at all AmateurGolf.com tournaments.
- Wait List procedure (for all tournaments except the Two Man Links) : Once the field limit has been reached, active members of AmateurGolf.com can login and register for a spot on the wait list. The fee is $25 and if a spot opens up in the field, the player will be added to the field and the same credit card charged for the remainder of the entry fee. The $25 will be refunded only if a spot does not open up for the player; i.e., if a player elects to withdraw from the wait list there will be no refund. Once in the field the regular refund policy will be in effect (see below).
- Please view our refund policy and standard disclaimer

2024 Zurich Classic live stream, TV schedule, where to watch online, channel, tee times, radio, golf coverage
Grab a partner as this team-style event on the pga tour wraps up sunday.
For the seventh straight year, golfers are in the Bayou taking part in the PGA Tour's annual team-style event. The 2024 Zurich Classic welcomed 80 teams of two as partners hoping to grab a trophy by week's end at TPC Louisiana.
Headlining the action are the two players who seemingly do everything together: Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay. The good friends were victorious in their first go around in 2022 but failed to defend their title a season ago. They started well this go-around but will need to make some major gains on Sunday if they hope to win two of three titles in New Orleans.
A new pairing making its debut features world No. 2 Rory McIlroy -- in his first tournament appearance -- playing alongside Shane Lowry. The two have shared Ryder Cup moments together are near the top of the Zurich Classic leaderboard , sitting just two strokes back entering the final 18 holes Sunday.
Will Zalatoris and Sahith Theegala also entered as a strong duo on paper, as was the case with Collin Morikawa and Kurt Kitayama. Adam Hadwin and Nick Taylor hoped to do one better than their runner-up performance in 2023 with Corey Conners and Taylor Pendrith also starring as an all-Canadian team. Brothers Alex and Matt Fitzpatrick team up for the second straight year with Rasmus and Nicolai Hojgaard, plus Parker and Pierceson Coody, also making this week a family affair.

Miles Russell continues to prove himself on the biggest of stages.
The 15-year-old Floridian earned a spot in last week’s LECOM Suncoast Classic on the Korn Ferry Tour and took full advantage of the opportunity by finishing in a tie for 15th. That paved the way for another exemption in Texas, where Russell opened the Veritex Bank Championship with a 3-under 68.
The left-hander opened his round with eight straight pars but finally broke through with a birdie at the par-5 9th. A long-range bomb from 30 feet followed at 11, and another birdie at the par-3 12th came minutes after. Suddenly, Russell sat at 3-under and in a solid position through 12 holes.
Russell made another birdie at the drivable, par-4 16th, which measured 329 yards on Thursday. But he made a costly mistake on the final hole, a par-5, as he three-putted from 25 feet for a bogey six.
Still, Russell played beautifully from tee to green, hitting 13-of-14 fairways and 16-of-18 greens. He scrambled nicely, too, going 2-for-2 when he missed the putting surface with his approaches.
But at the end of the day, Russell is 10 strokes behind Frankie Capan III, who shot 58 and broke Scottie Scheffler’s course record in the process.
Still, Russell has a great chance to make the cut on the Korn Ferry Tour again—one week after becoming the youngest player to record a top-25 finish on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour since 1983.
He will likely need another round in the 60s to make the cut again, but knowing how much talent this 15-year-old has, that is most certainly within the realm of possibilities.

Sleeper Picks: Zurich Classic of New Orleans
Sleeper Picks

Dylan Wu and Justin Lower (+6600) … Until last year, a pair of non-winners on the PGA TOUR hadn’t partnered to win the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, but Nick Hardy and Davis Riley broke that seal and with a tournament-record 30-under 258 to boot. Wu and Lower are a combined 0-for-147 on TOUR and that includes a pair of starts in the current format at TPC Louisiana, but they still are getting respectful odds at BetMGM. In their debut in 2022, they placed T10, so there’s been some success, but both have escalated in the macro since. In 2024 alone, Wu has two top 25s, including a season-best T19 at THE PLAYERS Championship, while Lower has a T3 at the Mexico Open at Vidanta and a T4 at last week’s Corales Puntacana Championship. Lower’s exceptional game on approach grades out as 38th on TOUR in greens hit, 14th in proximity and 34th in adjusted scoring. Wu’s balanced attack fortifies the foundation.
Nate Lashley and Rafael Campos (+550) … This isn’t the first rodeo for either of these guys, but it is the first time they’ve collaborated for the tournament – and it’s a smart one. Both are faring nicely in 2024 with three top 25s apiece. Lashley is ninth on the PGA TOUR in fairways hit, T63 in greens in regulation and 30th in Stroke Gained: Tee-to-Green, while Campos is inside the top 60 in distance of all drives, fairways hit and GIR. While their skill sets are similar in terms of ball-striking, the combined moxie they present is a favorable intangible in the team format.
Charley Hoffman and Nick Watney (+550) … If you’re a loyal reader – first, thank you – you also know that I learned my lesson in dismissing Hoffman’s chances in a team competition a while ago, so it is with that amusing experience lingering that it’s time again to lean into the possibilities. He’s regained an edge as he burns a career earnings exemption this year what with a playoff loss at the WM Phoenix Open and a T4 this past Sunday at the Corales Puntacana Championship. This is the seventh time in as many chances that Hoffman and Watney have partnered for the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. Overall, they have two top 10s among four top 20s. Despite both scuffling upon arrival last year, they rose for a T19, thus proving (again, like Hoffman did with Ryan Palmer at the QBE Shootout the previous December) that experience plays way up in this format.
