Such a lovely and fun experience!!! There were 6 of us on our tiki boat and Captain Anne was fabulous! She showed us fun sites all along the Detroit River. Wonderful way to spend an afternoon with friends! We brought food and drinks and there was a cooler on board where we could store things. Seats and cup holders around the boat. Fun decor. $15 to park your car there.

Fun experience on the Detroit River with Aloha Tiki Tours! I was with a group of coworkers on my visit with this cool local excursion company. The tiki boats were safe, and each seated about 20 of us comfortably. Each of our captains was cordial and engaging. The tiki I was on had both center bar seating and seating around the outer deck of the boat. Our boat was cycling-free, but other boats offered it. We cruised around the river on an overcast afternoon. It was a bit windy and cool at times, but still comfortable. We each talked about returning when the weather was a little fairer. We were allowed to bring our own snacks and libations. Our appointed group dj played music on her phone via the boat's Bluetooth speakers. We cruised for 2 1/2 hours, with a rest stop at a marine gas station/convenience store that offered restrooms. This excursion would be fun for any group of friends. I wouldn't advise it for mobility challenged people or toddlers and babies.

This boat ride exceeded my expectations and was a great value for the money (especially if you were to get a larger boat). We got an awesome view of the skyline and Belle Isle on a beautiful day. The tiki boat was a lot larger than I was expecting. We went for my mom's 68th birthday, so it wasn't a big party, but I think it would be great for any type of event. The best part was our captain, Gerald. He was very sweet, professional, and knowledgeable. He was easy to talk to but also left us alone when we wanted to have family time. A great experience!
