Sydney NSW 2000, Australia

Organiser: TOUR DE CURE

The Signature Tour is a popular cycling event organized by the Tour de Cure, an Australian charity that raises money to fund cancer research, prevention, and support services. This 8-day ride for cyclists of all abilities starts in Coffs Harbour, north of Sydney, and finishes at Noosa on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. In 2023, it will be offered as either a shorter 4-day ride or the longer 8-day ride. The 2023 ride celebrates a new route that travels along the NSW and QLD coastline, giving riders the option of starting in Broadbeach and finishing in Noosa.

The route for the ride is as follows:

  • Day 0: Check-in at 4 pm in Coffs Harbour
  • Day 1: Coffs Harbour to Yamba
  • Day 2: Yamba to Ballina
  • Day 3: Ballina to Kingscliff
  • Day 4: Kingscliff to Broadbeach
  • Day 5: Broadbeach to Ipswich (with an optional stopover in Broadbeach)
  • Day 6: Broadbeach to Brisbane or Ipswich to Brisbane
  • Day 7: Brisbane to Sandstone Point
  • Day 8: Sandstone Point to Noosa

The Signature Tour is the main cycling event held by the Tour de Cure, and it raises vital funds for pioneering cancer research at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. The Tour de Cure organizes cycling tours and fundraising events throughout Australia to suit riders who live in any state of Australia, covering different timeframes. You can find other cycling events like the Signature Tour in our online Cycling Event Calendar.
