6 Best RVs with Motorcycle Storage for Epic RV Camping Experience in 2024
- Last Updated: March 4, 2024
- 14 minutes read
Finding the perfect RV that accommodates not just your living needs but also provides adequate motorcycle storage can be quite the challenge.
Over the years, having traveled extensively and experienced a myriad of models, I’ve developed a keen eye for identifying the best RVs with motorcycle storage .
After personally testing numerous RVs, I’ve come to understand that not all are created equal, especially when it comes to combining comfort with the capability to safely haul a motorcycle.
Among the several I’ve evaluated for this roundup, the Newmar Canyon Star 3927 stands out as the best overall.
This model bridges the gap flawlessly between a luxurious living space and a secure, spacious area for your bike, making it a top choice for enthusiasts looking to bring their motorcycle along on their adventures.
Based on my experience, the top RVs with motorcycle storage are:
- Newmar Canyon Star 3927: Luxurious and spacious; best overall for comfort and storage.
- Keystone Carbon 418: Designed for the serious enthusiast; exceptional motorcycle hauler camper.
- Thor Outlaw 38 MB: Versatile living spaces; great RV with motorcycle garage.
- Highland Ridge Highlander: Spacious and rugged; perfect for adventurous riders.
- Renegade Classic: Customizable storage solutions; excellent for tailored motorcycle storage needs.
- Forest River XLR Boost 27QB: Compact yet efficient; ideal for quick getaways with your bike.
Which RVs can store motorcycles?
Only certain RV styles can offer the storage space and weight capacity necessary to be the best RVs with motorcycle storage.
These RVs are favorite choices of families who want to explore more once they reach their campsites:
- Class A RVs
Toy Haulers
Each RV seeks to make the most out of their space differently, and the RV’s with motorcycle storage on this list all excel in a specific role that makes your time on the road better.
Some Toy Hauler RVs will sacrifice living space in favor of a more oversized garage, capable of housing motorcycles for the whole family.
RVs built for motorcycle storage are a small niche within the larger spectrum of RVs.
The RVs on this list have motorcycles in their minds every step of the way, which will provide a far better storage experience than retrofitting a space to work for your needs.
Let’s explore these different setups.
Class A RVs with Motorcycle Storage
Class A RVs are the most well-known RVs on the market. They provide plenty of comforts of home and pack enough space on the road for the whole family to fit.
However, they don’t usually include a massive space for storing motorcycles.
When designing an RV for the whole family that can also fit in motorcycles, the RVs on this list provided an excellent combination of high-quality interior design and space for the essential things.
Sturdy Class A RVs that have storage for motorcycles will often come with rear access ramps that connect to the storage area in the back of the vehicle.
Others include high-tech hydraulic lift systems that effortlessly support your motorcycle on the outside of the RV, while the inside takes care of the comfort.
If you have a larger family traveling with you, Class A RVs with motorcycle garage can still provide sleeping space for 8-10 travelers.
These setups are great choices if you want your RV to store your motorcycle without sacrificing interior beauty.
You can expect full kitchens, entertainment areas, and spacious bathrooms, along with a home for your motorcycle.
Toy haulers are a type of RV that has a built-in garage on the interior of the RV. Toy Haulers garages are spacious enough for multiple motorcycles or whatever else needs hauling along.
These beasts are specifically made to carry things with you on your trip. Some high-end toy haulers will provide a queen-sized sleeping space alongside a garage as spacious as the one at home.
This garage can easily convert into a den or living space without the same standard of comfort as a Class A RV when not in use.
These RVs with motorcycle storage can come either as travel trailers or stand-alone motorhomes and are the best choice if you are looking for the most carrying capacity for your buck.
Toy haulers contain fewer amenities than a Class A RV but offer unparalleled storage for your motorcycles.
Now that you know the options out there, you can decide which option will work best for your personal needs.
We’ll walk you through the best RVs with motorcycle storage in all designations so you can see what defines the industry standard.

How Much Space do Two Motorcycles Take Up?
You should require a 7’ by 4’ space to store two motorcycles properly. You may be able to squeeze your bikes into a smaller space, but sharp turns can lead to damage if your cycles aren’t given the proper space.
How Do the Motorcycles Get Secured For Transit?
Any RV with motorcycle storage will include a tie-down system for your bike. Ensure your bike has at least four different ropes tying it down to the floor in case one fails.
In addition to the tie-downs, look for an included stand or provide your own wheel lock mechanism that will keep things still.
Each RV Provides Something Different
If you can’t imagine traveling without your motorcycle, give yourself ample space to look for the right RV.
Investing in an RV with motorcycle storage is more than just a way to bring the bike along.
Each RV will fill a different set of needs, and not one option is the best at everything.
If you’d instead go with a Class A RV, the Newmar Canyon Star 3927 will be a confident companion.
Those just looking to tow along their bikes and find a good night’s sleep won’t need anything more than the Forest River XLR 27 QB
High-end budgets will love the freedom the Renegade Classic brings, while those looking for a cheaper option find everything they need in the Thor Outlaw 38MB.
True road dogs will feel warm in their Highland Ridge Highlander, and rocky mountain lovers can elope in style in their Keystone Carbon 418
Your RV will work as your pit stop, finish line, and much more. Find the right combination of storage and functionality for your needs, and then find the RV right for you.

A 12v 1500psi motor runs the cylinder with a 6qt reservoir. Either way with a push of a button you will be able to quickly raise and lower you motorcycle with ease.
Designed by our engineering team with AutoCAD and manufactured in the USA in our plasma CNC facility. The 1000H RV motorcycle carrier offers a fully electric hydraulic unit complete with cylinder and motor. No details have been over looked. The Mighty Hauler 1000H motorcycle carrier uses the industries only “Sway Lock TM” technology to ensure the motorcycle does not sway during travel. The “Sway Lock TM” makes strapping the lift to the vehicle unnecessary. The “Sway Lock TM” pin is ¾” and also works as a safety pin taking pressure off of the cylinder. Everything on the Mighty Hauler TM is CNC cut to a ten thousandths of an inch. Nothing is hand cut. This allows us to custom create each piece which gives the Mighty Hauler TM the strength and stability it needs. Once you own a Mighty Hauler TM the quality will speak for itself.
The Mighty Hauler TM 1000H motorcycle carrier has been engineered to lower to within 1” from the ground allowing us to build the loading ramp right on the storage platform. This means there are No Extra Parts needing to be stored or carried. You also do not have to deal with trying to drive an 800 lb motorcycle up a steep incline. The platform is 8” across and 82” long, which makes it large enough for the widest tires and longest bikes. Custom platforms are also available. The hauler also includes brackets for storing the jack handle. The Mighty Hauler TM 1000H RV motorcycle carrier has a standard 2” hitch receiver to pull a small trailer or flat tow a car up to 5,000lbs with the addition of the three-point hitch. Brake lights and turn signal lights are included but not installed.
The Mighty Hauler TM 1000H has a carrying capacity of 1,000 lbs. The hauler comes power coated and ready to go. The hauler comes standard using 2-1/2″ solid steel tongue and fully welded gussets to hold the tongue to the upright for added strength and support. The motorcycle carrier has over 18” of travel and the motorcycle platform will be raised to a full 4” above the hitch for plenty of ground clearance. The main upright tube has two extra holes for tie down stability. Four tie down loops are integrated into the design for both added strength and stability. This is much stronger and safer than simply welding tie down brackets on.
What does the Mighty Hauler 1000H deliver?
- The industries only Sway Lock system
- Plasma CNC quality

- 2” hydraulic cylinder
- 1500psi 12VDC hydraulic motor

RV Motorcycle Carriers: How to Haul Your Bike
In all the years we have been full-time RVing with motorcycles, the number one question we are asked is: “How do we haul our motorcycles?”
We get that question not only because my husband and I haul his Harley Heritage motorcycle, but also because we haul my large sidecar. We also get this question because it's a lot more complicated than it sounds because there are so many variables and RV motorcycle carrier options.
Start by answering these questions (and we will delve into each below):
- What type of RV do you have or want?
- What kind of camper are you?
- What type of motorcycle do you ride?
- What states will you travel through?
- What are the towing options?
What Type of RV Do You Have or want?
If you do not have an RV yet, you're in a perfect position. You can select an RV that works with your travel needs and motorcycle. But if you already have an RV, you may need to make modifications so that your RV hauling a motorcycle (or more) fits your travel plans.
Whether you have an RV or not, you need to determine how or if your motorcycle will fit the RV. This is not as simple as pulling the motorcycle into the back of a toy hauler trailer or fifth wheel or adding a trailer to a Class A or Class C RV.
You need to look at the weight limits of the RV. This is a whole other story on how to find and know these specifications based on the RV you have or want. But understand—this is research you need to do, and it is critical to the safety of your trip and motorcycle hauling. Don’t rely on the dealership to tell you because their main goal is to sell the RV or the truck to pull it. We did the calculations on our chosen RV, so we knew we had the capacity to haul an additional 4,000-lbs on our chassis. This is the weight amount we have for adding bikes, food, clothes, water, and any other weight for our full-time travels.
What Kind of Camper Are You?
Although this doesn’t initially seem like it is related to how you will take your motorcycle, it does go hand-in-hand. If you don’t need a lot of features and you only travel on a weekend once or twice a year, you might be looking at a truck camper instead of a full RV. But if you want the comforts of home, then you would be considering a travel trailer at a minimum. If you plan to travel 3-6 months of the year or even full-time, you may lean towards a fifth wheel or a Class A. In turn, this decision will affect how you haul your bike based on the towing capabilities and options available.
What Type of Motorcycle Do You Ride?
The weight of your bike is going to contribute to the weight capacity you can haul on your RV if you want to use a lift or put it into a toy hauler —a fifth wheel or travel trailer RV that features a garage space, often with a fold-down ramp door. Remember I mentioned above that you need to be aware of the additional weight you can add to an RV.
For example, my husband’s bike weighs 780 lbs and my sidecar weighs 760 lbs. We have the ability to add 4,000 lbs to our RV. So, 4,000 minus our motorcycle's total weight of 1,540 leaves us 2,460 lbs leftover for food, water, and all household items.
If you decide that an RV with motorcycle trailer is the best option, then weight is not an issue when hauling your bike. Instead your focus should be on the pulling capacity of your RV. Or in the case of having a fifth wheel or trailer, the pulling capacity of your truck.
What States Will You Travel Through?
As if you didn’t have enough things to consider with weight and pulling capacity, there is one more criterion to keep in mind when trying to decide how to haul your motorcycle: Are you legal?
You need to know that currently in almost 50% of the states in the U.S., it is illegal to tow two things behind you. This means that if you're traveling through multiple states or starting in a state where it is illegal to haul multiple items, it may not even be an option for you to have a large dually truck (a standard truck with an extra set of wheels in the rear) pulling a fifth wheel trailer, pulling a motorcycle trailer. Look up the laws for your state and the ones you will be traveling through to assess your options. It's important to do your research to understand how the laws in California differ than those in Florida, Texas, or Illinois.
We are full-time travelers and can wind up in any region or state, so we had to ensure that our RV was legal everywhere. Many people now are opting for Razors, three-wheelers, and even sidecars like mine, so this will impact your options. In our situation, we are pulling a fifth-wheel toy hauler with a dually truck. We couldn’t add a third tow. There are still a couple more options you can secure.
What Are RV Motorcycle Carriers & Towing Options?
As you can tell by the previous questions, the towing combinations are vast. You will need to narrow down those options based on your answers to the above questions. But I can give you a quick overview of some of the combinations we have seen in our full-time RV lifestyle. This is not a complete list, but consists of the most prominent combinations I have seen in our travels
- Class A Motorhome – Lift on Back of RV – Pulling a Vehicle (TOAD)
- Truck – Pulling Travel Trailer or Fifth Wheel – Motorcycle Inside Toy Hauler
- Truck – Pulling Fifth Wheel with Lift on Back – Three-Wheeler/sidecar Inside Toy Hauler
- Truck with Lift – Pulling Travel Trailer
- Class C – Pulling a small trailer with bikes strapped on the trailer
- Class A Motorhome Toy Hauler with bikes inside – Pulling TOAD
- Camper Truck – Pulling a small trailer with bikes strapped on the trailer
A very basic formula to keep in mind: RV Type and Weight Limit or Towing Capacity + Motorcycle(s) Weight and Space Needs + State Towing Limits = Your Ideal Rig Setup
No matter what combination you choose so you can take your motorcycle on an RV, your life will change as you go, so don't feel like you must pick the perfect setup from the start. Throughout the years we have modified, modified, and modified based on our changing motorcycle and RV needs. Most importantly, get your rig together and get out there and enjoy some new twisted roads!

The Best Motorcycle Trailers
Dk2 mmt5x7 mighty multi-utility trailer (best motorcycle trailer overall).
The DK2 MMT5X7 Mighty Multi-Utility Trailer is our top recommendation as the best motorcycle trailer for most riders. This is the most versatile and functional trailer that you’ll find in this list or anywhere online.
One of the most impressive features of the DK2 MMT5X7 Mighty Multi-Utility Trailer is its durability. The trailer is fabricated from 100% steel with all of the components being reinforced, adjustable, removable, or interchangeable.
With an extended bed length of nearly 12-feet, you can easily load your motorcycle with room to spare. It can be used for multiple motorcycles or any other type of recreational vehicle, as long as the weight limit isn’t exceeded.
As for the weight limit, this trailer has a capacity of up to 1,500 lbs. This is more than enough for one or two motorcycles, without needing to worry about the limit.
Other features worth mentioning include the tubular steel frame, quick-release lock pin, load-bearing front and back gate, corrugated steel floor, and removable steel side panels. All of this makes this trailer durable, easy to use, and ideal for towing motorcycles.
Overall, the DK2 MMT5X7 Mighty Multi-Utility Trailer is definitely one of the best motorcycle trailers available on the market. The build quality is outstanding and it’s more than capable enough of towing your motorcycle wherever you need to go.
Detail K2 MMT5X7-DUG Multi-Purpose Utility Trailer
The Detail K2 MMT5X7-DUG Multi-Purpose Utility Trailer is another great choice if you’re looking for a motorcycle utility trailer. This one is similar to our first recommendation, with a few key differences.
For starters, this trailer has a weight capacity of 1,639 pounds. This makes it a great choice for towing more than one motorcycle, or a heavier motorcycle without having to worry about exceeding the weight limit.
It’s also designed from 100% steel components and features a fully welded, heavy-duty, powder coated tubular steel frame. The corrugated steel floor is removable and the trailer features both solid side and front panels.
What we like most about this trailer is that it’s equipped with a drive up gate. Having this feature makes it easy to load motorcycles on to the trailer without the need for a dedicated motorcycle ramp.
Everything on this trailer is fully pre-wire and plug-and-play. After hooking it up to your hitch, it’s as easy as plugging it in to get all the electrical components working.
Overall, the Detail K2 MMT5X7-DUG Multi-Purpose Utility Trailer is another great choice if you’re looking for a durable and reliable motorcycle trailer. This one is equipped with a drive up gate, which is ideal for transporting heavier bikes without needing a ramp.
ECOTRIC Black Steel Motorcycle Carrier
The ECOTRIC Black Steel Motorcycle Carrier is ideal if you want to transport your motorcycle but don’t want to deal with the hassle of a full size trailer. This hitch carrier is easy to install and is suitable for transporting smaller to mid-size bikes.
Connecting this to your trailer hitch is simple, thanks to the 2-inch receiver and 3/4-inch pin. The entire carrier is 79-inches in length and it’s equipped with an adjustable stabilizing raised wheel chock for easy loading.
With a maximum weight capacity of 600 pounds, this carrier is an easy way of transporting bikes under this weight limit. It comes with a ramp that’s bolted to the hitch mount for easy loading and transport.
When it comes to durability, there’s no need to be worried. The entire unit is made from steel and has a black powder coating, which helps to prevent rust.
What we like about the ECOTRIC Black Steel Motorcycle Carrier is that it’s easier to use than a dedicated motorcycle trailer. It comes with two quick release locks for easy installation and secure transport.
The main drawback to this carrier is that there is a limit to what you can carry. It also has a simple design and a lack of railing or tip protection, which can be worrisome depending on how you secure the bike.
In regards to securement, the carrier is equipped with only four small loops and a lack of secure tie-down locations. It also needs to be properly assembled before it’s used, as it comes in two separate boxes.
Despite the few drawbacks, the ECOTRIC Black Steel Motorcycle Carrier is still a great choice. This is an affordable alternative to using a motorcycle trailer and still makes it easy to transport your motorcycle.
MotoGroup Double Motorcycle Carrier
The MotoGroup Double Motorcycle Carrier is another suitable alternative to using a full size motorcycle utility trailer. This motorcycle hitch trailer is capable of transporting up to two dirt bikes or motorcycles.
Ideally, this hauler would be used for one motorcycle or two dirt bikes. That’s because of the total weight capacity of 600 pounds, which is in the range of what most full size motorcycles weigh.
Keep in mind that the length of each track is 75 inches. You wouldn’t want to load a motorcycle or bike with a longer wheelbase, as that would compromise the integrity of this carrier.
When it comes to durability, the MotoGroup Double Motorcycle Carrier is crafted from aluminum. Thanks to the aluminum construction there’s no need to worry about corrosion or rusting.
Unfortunately, the aluminum design makes it weaker than steel haulers. However, as long as you’re careful with the carrier, there’s no need to worry about the durability.
Other features worth mentioning include the included ramp for easy loading and the three locking screws, which help to prevent the carrier from wobbling. Installation is simple with this hauler fitting into a standard 2-inch trailer hitch.
One of the only drawbacks is the lack of tie-down locations. While there is a dedicated loop that can be used on each side of the bike, it would be nice to see more tie-down loops for securement.
Overall, the MotoGroup Double Motorcycle Carrier is a great choice for transporting lighter motorcycles and dirt bikes. The lightweight, durable design and ease-of-use make it ideal for riders in search of a simple motorcycle transportation solution.
Versa Haul VH-SPORT Sport Bike Carrier
The Versa Haul VH-SPORT Sport Bike Carrier is a great solution for transporting sport bikes. It’s designed to mount into a 2-inch Class III/IV hitch receiver and can be used for both sport bikes and dirt bikes.
This hitch carrier has a maximum capacity of 600 pounds. Due to the width of the frame, there’s definitely not enough room for a cruiser or bigger bike.
When it comes to securing your bike, the carrier comes with four eyelet tie down points. This allows for plenty of securement and keeping the bike stable during transportation.
As for construction, this hauler is made from a heavy duty steel. It also comes with a black paint finish, which improves the appearance and protects the metal from rust and corrosion.
Everything needed for installation is included. Once installed, the carrier is sturdy and durable on the hitch mount.
The main drawback with this model is that a loading ramp isn’t included. This means you’ll have to buy a separate ramp or get someone to help you lift the bike on to the hauler. Don’t forget that if you buy a separate ramp, you’ll have to bring it with you to offload the bike.
Overall, the Versa Haul VH-SPORT Sport Bike Carrier is a great choice if you’re looking to transport one sport bike or dirt bike. It’s easy to install and designed to fit on most truck and SUV hitches.
Why Use a Motorcycle Trailer?
Easier Transportation
Depending on where you’re going, sometimes you don’t want to ride hundreds of miles to reach your destination. Although riding a motorcycle is fun, trailers make it easier to ride further.
They allow you to bring your bike to far-off destinations and arrive feeling refreshed. Then you can explore new roads on your bike without having to ride all the way there.
Transport a Broken Bike
If your motorcycle is damaged or broken, you may not have any way of riding it home or to a garage. Trailers let you easily transport the bike, if it’s not safe or if you’re not able to ride it.
They also make it easy to pick up a new bike and bring it home. It’s not always possible to get a license plate and paperwork, so having a trailer is convenient.
Quick Storage
It’s possible to store your motorcycle on the trailer and keep it safe when it’s not being ridden. Using a motorcycle lock , the bike can be locked to the trailer.
This keeps the bike safe and prevents someone from being able to steal it as easily. It’s a quick solution if you’re in need of quick motorcycle storage.
Types of Motorcycle Trailers
Enclosed trailers are the most heavy duty and ideal for transporting motorcycles across long distances. They are available in a wide range of sizes and come with the trailer enclosed entirely with walls and a roof.
With enclosed trailers, the back door opens and can be used as a ramp. Some even come with side doors for easy access.
This type of trailer provides the best protection and security. They also keep your motorcycle safe from outdoor weather conditions.
Open trailers are flat and don’t come with a roof. The contents aren’t enclosed and, depending on the model, they may or may not come with sides.
This type is lightweight, easy to manoeuvre with your vehicle, and available in a variety of different sizes. Some of them come with a ramp, while others would require you to use your own motorcycle ramp for loading.
Most open trailers are made from aluminum, with the better quality ones being made from steel. The main drawback is that your motorcycle is exposed to the elements and outdoor conditions while it’s on the trailer.
Stand up trailers improve on the open trailer design by being able to easily stood up on end. This means they take up less space while in storage and are very lightweight.
The benefit to using this type is if you’re looking for a smaller trailer that’s lightweight and easy to use. It’s possible to find these with full size tires, independent suspension, and a fully balanced chassis
Front-Wheel
Front wheel trailers are small and an ideal choice for those of you on a budget. These are designed for towing short distances, specifically in emergencies or for light use.
The main drawback to this type is that they typically have a maximum capacity of around 800 pounds. This doesn’t make them ideal for bigger bikes doesn’t or for transporting a motorcycle long distances.
For installation, the trailer hooks to your trailer hitch. Then, the motorcycle’s front wheel hooks onto it.
Motorcycle Trailers Pricing
$500 to $2000.
In this price range you’ll find simple trailers with basic features. These are more of utility trailers that can be adapted for transporting your motorcycle.
At this price point, don’t expect to find too many models with lights, sides, or integrated wheel chocks. However, most of the trailers in this range are more than suitable enough for transporting one or two motorcycles safely and easily.
$2,000 to $4,000
In this price range you’ll find slightly nicer trailers that come with better features. However, most of them will still have the open flatbed design.
Folding trailers and heavier duty utility trailers are what you’ll find in this price range. There will be some additional features, including integrated wheel chocks and better design.
$4,000 to $7,000
It’s possible to start finding enclosed trailers in this price range. There will also be more features available for other models in this budget.
For example, trailers in this price range will come with ramps, and integrated wheel chocks, and integrated lights. These are better suited for riders transporting motorcycles on a regular basis.
$7,000 and Above
At this price point is where you’ll start to find more customized and larger trailers. Most of them are enclosed and come with other luxury features.
Some of these features include custom paint, interior lights, chrome trim, and mag wheels. While not necessary for most riders, these would be a great luxury if you’re willing to shell out.
Key Features to Look For
The materials that the trailer is designed from are one of the most important features to look for. Cheaper, lower quality materials will result in a less durable trailer.
The lightest trailers will be designed using aluminum. There are also trailers made from steel.
The main concern with steel trailers is that they’ll weigh significantly more than aluminum ones. However, they’re more durable and capable of holding a heavier load. This makes them ideal for transporting heavier motorcycles or more than one bike.
If you’re looking at enclosed trailers, consider that they will be heavier than the open, flat-bed ones. Many of them also come with a wood floor, just another factor to consider.
Hitch Receiver Compatibility
Don’t forget that the hitch receiver on the trailer needs to match up with the class of hitch you have on your vehicle. Check the product description or manufacturer specifications to find this information and verify compatibility.
Hitches are typically rated from Class I through Class V. This rating depends on the vehicle type and its load capacity.
Class III hitches are a good place to start, as they’re designed for towing under 1,200 pounds. Class IV and V are designed for 2,700 pounds or less.
Load Capacity
Speaking of load capacity, this is the total weight that a trailer is designed to carry. It’s important to go with a load capacity that exceeds the total weight of your motorcycle.
If you plan to transport more than one bike, make sure to add up the total weight of each of the motorcycles. Reference this with the load capacity of the trailer, make sure that you won’t run into any weight issues.
As for motorcycle weights, most dirt bikes weigh between 250 and 400 pounds. Sport bikes typically weigh between 300 and 600 pounds, with cruisers coming in at 600 up to 1000 pounds.
Tie-Down Locations
Depending on the bike you’re transporting, different tie-down locations are required. Double check the trailer that you want to use has tie-down spots in locations that make sense for your bike.
It’s better to have multiple tie-down locations, as this gives you better security and more functionality with your trailer. If you’re not sure, tie down locations are spots on a rail or metal loops where you can use motorcycle tie down straps for securing your bike.
Versatility
Most motorcycle trailers are versatile and can be used for a wide range of other purposes. This would be most utility trailers with the flatbed design.
On the other hand, the hitch carriers can only be used for transporting your motorcycle. Keep this in mind when you’re looking at trailers and if you need to move anything else.
Integrated Chocks
It’s a lot easier to load a bike if the trailer comes equipped with integrated chocks. If not, you’ll have to consider buying your own motorcycle chocks and installing them on the trailer.
These work by holding the bike in place while you tighten the straps and properly secure it. You’ll typically find this feature on the higher-end models, although it’s easy enough to buy them separately.
Helpful Motorcycle Trailer Tips
- Trailers can be heavy, awkward, and difficult to lift into position. It’s a good idea to have a second person around when you’re installing the trailer onto your vehicle.
- Before setting off, always double-check that the trailer gate is closed and locked. Otherwise, it could open while you’re driving, which could lead to serious and expensive problems. Consider buying a padlock to make it even more secure.
- Always double-check that your bike is securely locked into place. Use the necessary tie down straps or rope to tighten everything and prevent the bike from wobbling or falling.
Best Motorcycle Trailer FAQ
How can you tell if the trailer hitch is compatible with your vehicle.
Start by checking the size of your vehicle hitch. Next, check that the trailer you’re interested in matches the size of your hitch.
You always want to check the weight of your motorcycle and the load rating of your trailer to verify its compatibility. Both need to be able to support the weight of the motorcycle and trailer combined.
What is a Vehicle’s Tongue Weight?
This is the maximum weight a vehicle can carry on the hitch. For this information, refer to the vehicle’s owner’s handbook.
Alternatively, you could find this information online or take the total weight of the cars towing capacity and divide it by 10.
How Can You Get the Motorcycle onto the Trailer?
Some trailers come with a loading ramp for easy loading. Otherwise, you’ll need to build or buy a motorcycle ramp to get the bike loaded.
Never ride the motorcycle onto the trailer as this could lead to injury or the bike getting dropped. It’s a good idea to have someone with you to help you load the bike properly.

This is even more true when it comes to bike-specific trips, like track days or hitting up a dirt bike trail. Summary List

I’ve transported bikes in the back of vans, trucks, and on makeshift two-wheel trailers for nearly two decades. So, I’ve come to know a thing or two about motorcycle trailers. Although I haven’t had the chance to test all the products on this list, my opinions are based on transporting motorcycles for nearly 20 years.
As brands rise and fall in terms of quality and new technologies enter the market, I reserve the right to change my opinions and product choices.
Best Motorcycle Trailers: Reviews & Recommendations
Many of the motorcycle hitch trailers on the market limit you to transporting dirt bikes or small motorcycles, but not the Black Widow SMC-600R. This model has a 600-pound weight capacity, meaning it should be able to transport the majority of bikes with ease. Included in the sale is a loading ramp that measures six feet, which you can store on the carrier when it’s not in use.
The carrier works with 2-inch Class III or IV hitch receivers, and there’s a 5/8-inch hitch pin and anti-rattle device included in the sale. At the front there’s a built-in adjustable wheel chock, which means this model doesn’t have bilateral roll-on/roll-off action, but you should have more confidence that your bike is locked in place while on the move. This is easily the most heavy-duty model on the list, and unfortunately that means it weighs 98 pounds. So, it’s not the easiest trailer to fit single handedly.
Works with 2-inch Class II, III, IV, or V trailer hitches
Can load from either side
If you need to transport relatively heavy motorcycles on a tight budget, just get the Ecotric 500lbs Motorcycle Trailer. As its name suggests, this model has a 500-pound weight capacity, which at this price point is astounding. It works with 2-inch square receivers that are Class II, III, IV, or V hitches, making it a lot more versatile than other hitch carriers on the market. It’s a multi-load carrier, meaning it's easy to load your bike from either side.
The carrier only weighs 48 pounds, making it extremely lightweight compared to the weight it can support. And there’s an anti-tilting device, which is meant to prevent the motorcycle from swaying. Included in sale is a loading ramp, which you can place on the carrier when you’re on the road. Unfortunately, a trailer hitch pin isn’t included, so you’ll have to pick that up yourself.
Works with 2" Class III or IV hitch receivers
If you’re only planning on transporting dirt bikes, the Black Widow AMC-400 Hitch-Mounted Carrier is the obvious choice. This model has a 400-pound weight capacity, which is more than enough for any regular motocross bike, even a 450cc four-stroke. It works with 2-inch Class III or IV hitch receivers and fits bike wheels that are up to 5.5-inches wide. So anyone with fat-bike tires can count on this model, too.
This 6-foot-long ramp installs on either side for bilateral roll-on/roll-off action. Included in the sale is a youth dirt bike adapter and anti-rattle device. Built into the carrier is an anti-tilt bracket, which should help to reduce sway while you’re on the road. The whole unit weighs just 33.5 pounds, making it the lightest on this list. Unfortunately, for all but the lightest of road-going motorcycles, this carrier won’t be able to handle the load.
Can transport two bikes
Relatively lightweight for such a heavy-duty product
Individual bikes must weigh less than 400 pounds
Anyone who regularly needs to transport two motorcycles, dirt bikes more specifically, should get the Black Widow AMC-600-2 Double Motorcycle Carrier. I say this is more intended for dirt bikes because the individual bikes must weigh less than 400 pounds each, and the carrier has a maximum load capacity of 600 pounds. But, in theory, you could also transport two small road bikes. This unit works with 2-inch Class III or IV hitch receivers and accommodates bike tires up to 5.5-inches wide.
Like some of the other models on this list, this ramp installs on either side for bilateral roll-on/roll-off action, and there’s an anti-rattle device included in the sale. It tips the scales at just 76 pounds, which isn’t bad considering it can transport up to 600 pounds of cargo, albeit in two sub-400 pound carrying slots.
Our Verdict
The Black Widow SMC-600R is easily the most versatile, heavy-duty motorcycle carrier on the market. And it comes in at an extremely reasonable price. But, if you're on a tight budget, you can opt for the Ecotric 500LBS Motorcycle Trailer , and it'll work just fine.
Key Features
Here’s everything you need to know about motorcycle trailers.
Expect motorcycle trailers to be constructed using steel or aluminum. Aluminum trailers are cheaper and lighter than steel trailers and have slightly improved aesthetics, albeit less durable,
Hitch Receiver Compatibility
Look for your motorcycle trailer to match your truck's class of hitch. Generally, motorcycle trailers are compatible with Class III (up to 1,200-pound towing capacity,) whereas, class IV and V are for 2,700 pounds and under.
Load Capacity
You need a trailer that can carry the weight of your motorcycle. If you plan to load more than one motorcycle, then you need to add up the total weight of all of the motorcycles. If you plan to carry gear, then consider the weight of that too. Keep in mind that a dirt bike weighs 300-400 pounds. Most sportbikes weigh 300-600 pounds, while fully dressed cruisers can easily weigh 800 pounds.
You've got questions. The Drive has answers.
Q: How can I tell if the trailer hitch functions with my vehicle?
A: You need to check the weight of your motorcycle and load rating of your trailer. They should be within the vehicle’s tongue weight. Also, make sure the motorcycle or bike’s weight does not surpass the maximum weight capacity of the trailer itself.
Q: What is a vehicle’s tongue weight?
A: The tongue weight is the maximum weight your vehicle can carry on the hitch. You can find this information detailed in the vehicle owner’s guidebook. You can also figure it out yourself by taking the total weight of the car’s towing capacity and dividing it by 10.
Q: How big of a motorcycle trailer do I need?
A: It depends on the number of bikes stored. For one motorcycle, go with a trailer in the 4x8 and 6x12-foot range. For two motorcycles, a 6x10 to 7x14-foot trailer should work. Some of the most common dimensions include 5x8, 6x10., and 6x12-foot models. Please consult with your motorcycle manufacturer for exact dimensions before purchasing a motorcycle trailer.
Q: Do you need a wheel chock to trailer a motorcycle?
A: We highly recommend wheel chocks for tying down a motorcycle. Failure to use a wheel chock could cause your front wheel to rotate, turn, and wear down your tire's tread or perform an unexpected turn on the highway, potentially causing an accident. Be sure to use a ratchet strap and soft handlebar loops to tie down your handlebars as well.

15 Best Motorcycle Camper Trailers

Going motorcycle camping takes advantage of an open road adventure. This is a great type of camping for motorcycle enthusiasts who want to experience more of the outdoors while on the road. It's also a bit cheaper than staying in a hotel.
Motorcycle camper trailers are lightweight enough to be hauled by almost any motorcycle. Many of these trailers work like a pop-up camper, and provide a shelter that's easy to take with you. This gives you the freedom to explore and hit the road.
It's important to keep in mind that most motorcycle camper trailers work as rigid tents and not like a traditional RV. Instead, they share many features to a teardrop trailer that a small car may tow. You've got space for 1 to 2 people to sleep with some space to keep your gear protected and that's all. Here's 15 great motorcycle camper options:
1. Easy Rider Camper
Source: Easy Rider Camper
- Price: Contact
- Weight: Contact
In the world of motorcycle campers, this is considered one of the more luxurious ones. The 6 foot long standard model Easy Rider Camper has a rear door that opens to an interior featuring a sleeping area for two people. The company even makes a trailer camper for pets.
2. Aspen Classic
Source: Aspen Quality Trailers
- Price: $5,695
- Weight: 350 lbs
Aspen says their Classic trailer is their best selling model. Like any good motorcycle camper, it only takes minutes to setup into a tent offering a sleeping area with a fold up king size bed and a standing room that has a height of 7 feet. Zippered windows come standard with the rear window allowing access to the tent if needed.
3. Lees-ure Lite Tent Trailer
Source: Lees-ure Lite

How to Carry a Motorcycle with a Travel Trailer?
Motorcycles and travel trailers are both exciting forms of transportation, but it might be confusing if you want to bring your motorcycle along with your travel trailer. Both are quite expensive machines, so you do not want to damage either one by hauling incorrectly.
How do you carry a motorcycle with a travel trailer? There are many ways to haul a motorcycle with a travel trailer, including lifts, trailers, or toy haulers. The best type of carriage will depend on your motorcycle and travel trailer.
Although there are many ways to carry your motorcycle with your travel trailer, you should research the best options for your vehicles to be safe. There are also many different options for pricing that might influence how you decide to carry your motorcycle with your travel trailer.
Table of Contents
Carrying a Motorcycle with a Travel Trailer
Travel trailers are a type of RVs (recreational vehicles). They are similar to motorhomes, but travel trailers are pulled by a truck or car. Travel trailers typically do not have a way for you to attach your motorcycle directly to the RV, but you do still have options.
It is important to note that your motorcycle and RV types are crucial to figuring out the best way for you to carry your motorcycle with your travel trailer.
Carry A Motorcycle On Back Of RV >> Check out the video below
Using a Motorcycle Lift
One of the easiest ways to haul your motorcycle with your travel trailer is a motorcycle lift. It is not difficult to attach a motorcycle lift to a travel trailer, and it is easy to store when you are not using the lift.
With motorcycle lifts, you can still tow a trailer. You can attach the lifts to most vehicles or long tongue trailers. Motorcycle lifts are also specifically designed for hauling motorcycles, so you can feel better about the security of your motorcycle as you haul it.
Before you decide to use a motorcycle lift with your bike and travel trailer, you need to make sure that your truck can carry the extra weight. You will need to account for your travel trailer’s weight, the motorcycle lift’s weight, and the motorcycle’s weight.
If you are using the motorcycle lift on a motorhome, you need to make sure that the RV’s tires have a weight capacity that can handle all the weight .
Using a Trailer
Another good option for hauling your RV and motorcycle is a trailer that can be pulled by either your car or motorhome. A trailer can be a good investment for your RV lifestyle as well. Most trailers are versatile enough that you could use your motorcycle trailer to haul or store other items.
Plus, there are many different types of trailers that you can use to haul your motorcycle with your travel trailer. You can really find the perfect one for your needs.
Enclosed Trailers for Motorcycles
One trailer option is an enclosed motorcycle trailer. These trailers are designed to carry motorcycles, but they can also be used as another way to store your items. You might even haul other vehicles besides your motorcycle, such as a quad or dune buggy. Or you might be able to carry multiple motorcycles.
Since these trailers are enclosed, they are great at protecting your motorcycle. An enclosed trailer will keep your motorcycle from exposure to bad weather .
You can also use an enclosed cargo trailer that is not specifically designed to carry motorcycles. As long as you can safely hook up the trailer and fit your motorcycle securely inside, you can use a cargo trailer. An enclosed cargo trailer also provides another place to store additional items you might bring along.

Flatbed Trailers for Motorcycles
Another option for using a trailer to carry your motorcycle with your RV is a flatbed. This type of trailer is easy and common to find, and it requires only a small amount of maintenance. Plus, a flatbed trailer has countless other options for hauling.
You can use a flatbed trailer to do some of your motorcycle transport and then use it for other common tasks you might have. The overall versatility of a flatbed trailer makes it one of the most popular options for RV travelers.
Collapsible Trailers for Motorcycles
There are also collapsible trailers that you can use to haul your motorcycle with your travel trailer. Collapsible trailers are great if you want a way to carry your motorcycle but do not necessarily have a lot of storage space.
It is important to note that while many other types of trailers can be used for motorcycles and ATVs, quads, etc., collapsible trailers are almost always designed solely for motorcycles. If you want a trailer that can carry a motorcycle and/or other types of vehicles, you would probably be better off with a flatbed or enclosed cargo trailer.

Using a Toy Hauler
Toy haulers are a type of RV that have the perks of residence like a motorhome but the convenience of a trailer that you can haul around. Toy haulers are quite versatile and have elements that allow you to close off a room for a guest or have an open garage door.
Toy haulers have a garage space that is compatible with carrying your motorcycle. Their storage capabilities make toy haulers a popular choice for people who like the comfort of a traditional motorhome but the ability to move freely that comes with a travel trailer.
Some toy haulers are in the form of motorhomes, but plenty are also towable. You can decide what type best fits your needs. Toy haulers are probably the most recommended method for carrying your motorcycle with a travel trailer.
Toy haulers have ample space to store your motorcycle while you are on the road, and they offer your motorcycle more protection than an open trailer would. They are also versatile enough that you can store or haul similar vehicles without any difficulties.
Other Ways to Haul a Motorcycle
Depending on the type and size of the motorcycle that you have, you might not even need a separate trailer to transport your motorcycle with your travel trailer. If your truck has a big enough truck bed and your motorcycle is small and light, you might be able to tow the RV and the motorcycle.
To do so, you would have to make sure that your truck has the power to tow so much weight. Even if your pickup truck can close to secure your motorcycle, you need to make sure that the bike is still securely strapped down.
You can even double tow if your truck has enough power. In this situation, you would tow your RV with another trailer towed behind it. If you decide to go with that route, though, keep in mind that you will need to research local laws about double towing.
Even if it is just a small motorcycle trailer that you are using behind your RV, some states have strict laws on double towing that can result in serious fines if you are violating the local laws. Always check the laws that govern any of the states you will travel to or through. Some states allow double towing, but others impose heavy restrictions.
You might find the best option to carry your motorcycle with your travel trailer is with a motorcycle hitch that is designed specifically to attach a motorcycle to your car or trailer. These come in many varieties and styles. Some have ramps or are more similar to motorcycle lifts, but they can also be an option to consider.

The Endeavor Powersport Utility Trailer stands out not only because it can accommodate a huge variety of cargo types, but also because of its smart folding design and space-saving footprint.
Perfect for both serious hauling jobs and transporting toys for your weekend getaway, this utility trailer easily handles lumber and construction materials, home appliances, dirt bikes, motorcycles and trikes, all offroad vehicles (including ATV, UTV, and SxS), smart cars and other small cars, and even golf carts.
The 6’x9’ expanded metal platform ensures there is enough space for even the hardest-to-haul items, providing a wider and longer footprint than the average pickup truck or tow trailer in its price range. The foldable tailgate design makes the extra-long footprint no problem for storage. The low deck height and long ramps decrease the angle of approach when loading vehicles, making loading safer while maintaining a low center of gravity to increase towing stability. Made from tubular steel for enhanced strength and lightweight construction, the Endeavor Powersport Utility Trailer also features a heavy-duty steel mesh platform design that further adds to its lightweight, easy-to-fold design (meaning you can haul more and still stay within weight limits). Moreover, the mesh and cage design (as opposed to a solid platform and solid walls) also enable proper drainage in wet environments, preventing rust and keeping the loading platform from becoming slick. Both materials are powder coated to increase the trailer’s durability and resistance to cracks, rust, and damage from abrasion or chemical exposure, guaranteeing that this utility trailer will look as good as it performs for as long as you use it. And long-term, year-round use is what the Endeavor Powersport delivers. In one utility trailer, you get a work-horse trailer throughout the week and a toy hauler on the weekend. Take everything you want or need on one trailer, in one trip, with ease.

Yes, U-Haul Does Have Motorcycle Trailers: Here's What To Know Before You Rent One
There are a lot of different situations where you might need to move a motorcycle without riding it. Maybe you haven't got a license or registration yet, maybe you're bringing your bike into the shop, maybe you're buying a used project bike that needs a little maintenance before it's ready to be ridden. Perhaps the weather is crumby, or maybe you've got a dirt bike that isn't street legal. Whatever the reason may be, there may come a time when you need to use a motorcycle trailer. You don't need to buy one though, since you can rent one from U-Haul.
You probably already know that U-Haul has a large range of different transportation solutions. The company offers everything from massive moving trucks to horse trailers, but you might not have known that you can rent a motorcycle trailer from them. According to the company's website , "U-Haul motorcycle trailers are affordable, lightweight and easy to tow. Our motorcycle trailer rentals come equipped with an easy-access loading ramp, heavy-duty tie-down rings, and a built-in motorcycle chock. The motorcycle trailer rental is great for quick hauls to the shop or a long round-trip."
There are a few things you might want to know before you rent one, though.
Will your bike fit?
The first thing that you should do before you even drive to you're local U-Haul is check and make sure that your bike will actually fit. The motorcycle trailer from U-Haul has 30 square feet of deck space, and the dimensions inside the trailer are 7'8" wide by 3'9.5" long.
That should be plenty of space for most standard bikes. There aren't a whole lot of four-foot-wide, eight-foot-long motorcycles out there. You'll probably only need to worry about taking a tape measurer to it if you have a particularly massive bike or a custom ride with unusual dimensions. However, you'll also want to consider the weight.
The U-Haul motorcycle trailer is rated to hold a maximum towing capacity of 950 pounds. That should be more than enough for most bikes, but there are sparse few that can hit that limit. Honda Goldwings get close without any modifications, sitting at just under 930 pounds, the Harley Davidson CVO Limited Anniversary Edition comes in at 963 pounds, and the Boss Hoss V8 is known to weigh about half a ton. These are among the heaviest bikes in production today, however, and so the vast majority of motorcycles should be able to fit comfortably with little issue.
Can you use one to move across the country?
Some bikes are made for taking long rides across the country, and some bikes really aren't. Sports bikes might be fun rides for zipping down short stretches of highway, but your lower back will probably have something to say anytime you ride one for more than a couple of hours at a time.
With that in mind, you probably want to find another solution for transporting it if you're moving somewhere far away. You also might simply own more than one vehicle, and need a method for transporting both. Unfortunately, U-Haul doesn't allow you to take its motorcycle trailers for one-way trips. This means that you will have to return the trailer to the same U-Haul location that you originally rented it from. That doesn't mean you're completely out of luck, though.
U-Haul recommends that you take advantage of its slightly larger 5x9 open ramp utility trailer for longer moves where you will need to return the trailer to a different location. This is a bit more expensive, but the newer models have a built-in motorcycle chock so it can do anything the motorcycle trailer can do, and even has a little extra space and capacity for the rest of your stuff.
How much will it cost?
The next thing you'll probably want to know is how much renting one of these trailers will cost you. Transportation fees can be a real pain, so it's worth knowing what you're in for before showing up at the lot with a credit card in hand. U-Haul has variable pricing for a lot of their products, but not when it comes to their motorcycle trailers.
Fortunately, renting these trailers isn't very expensive at all. It costs a flat $14.95 per day to rent one of these, and use it as much as you want. There are no added mileage fees like you get with U-Haul's trucks, and the rate seems to be the same in every major city that we checked. This makes them a very affordable solution for quick trips around town, or even for taking a bike out of town for an event or to reach a specific riding location.
You might want to do some quick math if you're the kind of person who likes to take your bike on a lot of big round trips though. Competitive motocross riders or those who like to take their classic bikes out to motorcycle shows might find that these daily fees can stack up over time. There comes a point where owning your own trailer might be the more financially viable solution, provided you have the space to store it.
What kind of ball and hitch do you need?
You aren't just going to need a trailer: You're also going to need a few essential towing accessories to attach it to the vehicle that's going to be pulling it. More specifically, you're going to need an appropriate trailer hitch and hitch ball. These need to be the right size, and the hitch needs to be of an adequate rating.
Every trailer hitch has a rating for how much it can pull. This can usually be found on a label that should be located on the hitch itself. You can technically pull the U-Haul motorcycle trailer with a hitch rating as low as 1,000 pounds , but then your towing capacity drops to only 450 pounds, which may not be enough to pull your motorcycle. You will need a hitch with a rating of 2,000 pounds or greater in order to take advantage of the full 950-pound capacity that the trailer itself is rated for.
In terms of the hitch ball, U-Haul doesn't list a specific size for the motorcycle trailer on the website's description. It does, however, mention in its trailer user guidelines that "Hitch-ball sizes of 1-7/8 and 2 inches are acceptable with a U-Haul trailer coupler. A U-Haul representative can advise you on the correct ball size and weight rating for your trailer."
U-Haul also sells and installs its own brand of tow kits and hitch balls, so you can always pick up what you need at the lot if your vehicle doesn't already have all of the necessary equipment.
How do you prep the trailer?
The process of loading your bike onto the trailer is fairly straightforward, but you'll need to do a little prep work before you put your motorcycle on it. U-Haul has provided a video giving specific instructions on how to safely and securely load your motorcycle onto the trailer and fasten it in place so that you can ensure that no harm comes to it while it is being transported.
Start by prepping the trailer for the bike. Make sure that you've engaged the parking break on your vehicle, and then double-check that the coupler handwheel is tight on the hitch and that the safety chains are fully secured. Place four ratchet straps inside the trailer — one in each corner — and then hook one end of each to one of the tie-downs that are located on the trailer bed.
The ramp is held in place by two metal latch pins. Remove these, and then carefully lower the gate onto the ground. This will create a ramp that you can use to load the motorcycle into the trailer.
How do you secure your bike?
Getting the bike onto the trailer is the trickiest part. It might be difficult for you to push a heavy motorcycle up the ramp by yourself. It also isn't recommended to ride the bike up the ramp, however, as there is very little space for you to brake once you reach the top. It might not be easy to put your feet down in the narrow space on the trailer bed either.
The best method for properly loading a motorcycle onto a trailer is for two or more people to do it together. One person should be guiding the bike from the handlebars with one hand on the front brake, while the other pushes the bike from the rear. Guide the bike all the way to the front of the trailer so that the front tire is positioned in the wheel chop, and the majority of the bike's weight is closer to the towing vehicle.
Different motorcycles will have different recommended attachment points which should be referenced in the bike's owner's manual. Use the ratchet straps to secure these attachment points to the trailer bed, being careful to tighten them evenly so they don't pull the bike more firmly in one direction. These lines should be taught, but not so tight that they fully compress the suspension. Be careful not to pinch any brake lines or electrical wiring.
Then all that's left is to lift the ramp and secure the gate using the latch pins.

*Transit times are estimated and based on national shipping averages, which are subject to change.
Motorcycle shipping and seasonal demand

Motorcycle shipping FAQs
What is the average price to ship a motorcycle.
The average cost of shipping a motorcycle can vary based on several factors, such as the distance, type of transport method, specific motorcycle model, pickup and delivery locations and even the time of year. On average, shipping a motorcycle less than 800 miles will cost approximately $680.
What is the cheapest way to ship a motorcycle?
The cheapest way to ship a motorcycle is typically between distribution centers. While using this method may save you money, it may not be the most convenient option if your pickup and delivery locations are not near a distribution center. Working with a motorcycle transport expert like Montway can help you secure a fair price without compromising quality service. Montway negotiates discounted rates with premier motorcycle shippers and passes these savings on to customers.
Is it expensive to ship a motorcycle?
The answer really depends on your budget and amount of free time. Opting for a professional service to move your motorcycle could be a more valuable option, rather than personally transporting it or riding it across the country. To make sure you’re getting both the best price and service, research a few shipping companies and compare their rates and reputation. You can obtain a free customized quote from Montway by calling 888-989-8526.
What is the best way to ship a motorcycle?
Motorcycle shipping is best left in the hands of professionals with expertise in this type of vehicle transportation. Professional motorcycle shippers have the knowledge, skills and specialized equipment to safely load, transport and unload your prized possessions. Companies such as Montway offer convenient door-to-door service and will handle all the logistics, reducing your stress and saving you time.
How do I prepare my motorcycle for shipping?
When using Montway for your motorcycle shipping, we recommend that you clean your motorcycle for easy inspections, remove personal items, have tires properly inflated, repair any fluid leaks, keep gas around 1/4 tank and unlock the steering column.
What factors affect motorcycle shipping costs?
A number of considerations will impact how much you can expect to pay for shipping your bike. These include transport distance, locations, time of year, motorcycle make and model. Distance is the main factor in calculating costs as most transport companies charge a specific fee per mile. Long-distance trips typically have a lower rate per mile but will cost more in total. For an accurate cost, call Montway at 888-989-8526 for a quote based on your exact motorcycle type and transport details.
