With millions of visitors flocking to Atlanta every year, one of the main attractions that keep them coming back in droves is the wonderful World of Coca-Cola. Atlanta is home to Coca-Cola, the world’s largest and most successful soft drink manufacturer. Located in the heart of Downtown Atlanta, the World of Coca-Cola is a truly fascinating look at how Coca-Cola came to be an international sensation.

Originally, the World of Coke was a permanent fixture at the Underground, a bustling entertainment center in Downtown Atlanta. In the early 2000’s, the museum closed down and plans to reopen the World of Coke in its new, much larger location began to take shape.

The new World of Coke museum made its grand debut on May 24th 2007 and quickly became a much sought after destination for locals and visitors trekking to the Downtown Atlanta corridor. Located directly across the street from the Children’s Museum of Atlanta, the Georgia Aquarium and the Olympic Centennial Park, this sprawling 60,000 square foot, state of the art museum is a beacon for Coca Cola connoisseurs and museum buffs alike.

What’s really exciting about the World of Coke is that the tour touches on the past, present and the future of the brand that has come to symbolize American tradition and creativity. From special exhibits that feature pop art utilizing the Coca Cola logo or silhouette to the tasting room which allows patrons to sample more than sixty different Coca Cola recipes from around the world, this family friendly museum is a must-see on any list of Downtown Atlanta attractions.

An Insider's Guide to Visiting the World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta

visit coca cola in atlanta

November 2, 2017

The World of Coca-Cola 121 Baker St NW Atlanta, GA One of the most iconic products to come from Georgia is the delicious, ice-cold bottle of Coca-Cola. And no trip to  Atlanta  is complete without a visit to the World of Coca-Cola , an entire museum dedicated to the famous drink. Neighbors with the Georgia Aquarium and the Children’s Museum of Atlanta , the  World of Coca-Cola  features everything and anything Coke-related including a historical museum, an art gallery, a working bottling plant, an interactive security vault and a taste-testing room—all in one location. Read on for our ultimate guide to exploring the museum with your family—we apologize in advance for the massive sugar rush!

Learn Coca-Cola's history

The entire museum is a tribute to all things Coca-Cola, but there are several spots within the museum that are focused specifically on the history. At The Loft , you'll see signs, billboards and clothing that explains Coca-Cola's influence on the world. No matter how many times you visit the WOCC, The Loft is a new and unique interactive experience as each ambassador highlights their personal favorite part of the room.  Milestones of Refreshment is the second historical area that will explain the story of Coca-Cola from the 1880’s to present-day. Through 10 different galleries, visitors can learn about the branding of the Coca-Cola bottle and its influence on the brand. It also expands on the history with more than 1,000 artifacts!

Explore the art gallery

View the iconic brand's artwork at the Pop Culture Gallery. Here, you'll find a mix of art installations and pop culture, and learn cool facts about the brand's artwork (like the story of how the Coca-Cola Santa we all know and love was introduced!). You can even sit on the American Idol Season 4 set! There are also featured temporary exhibits like the recent  10 Artists, 10 Bottles exhibit, which celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the museum moving to its current location at Pemberton Place. A past exhibit focused on folk artist Howard Finster and his use of the bottle shape in his artwork.

See where the secret formula is hidden

The one-of-a-kind Coca-Cola formula—only known by a select few people in the world—is actually housed in a vault within the museum. Needless to say, getting to the vault is an experience! Along the way to the vault, visitors can participate in several interactive games that allow them to try and guess the secret formula. Kids will especially love being able to "bubble-ize" themselves and their family.

Experience a working bottling plant

If you’ve ever wondered how that tasty drink gets inside that iconic bottle, then make your way to the museum's working bottle plant that will explain, from the start to finish, how bottles are cleaned, filled and capped for delivery to the store. And the best part? You’ll get a free beverage to enjoy throughout the tour!

Taste all the drinks!

The museum's Taste It! section offers 100 flavors for taste testing, and the stations are arranged geographically with favorite flavors from Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and North America. In addition to Classic Coca-Cola, there is Diet Coke, Coke Zero Sugar, Caffeine-Free Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta, Powerade, and the list goes on and on. It’s an amusing way to learn more about the fruity combinations available in other countries! Be sure to try the Beverly—it's one of the must-try drinks from Italy.

Tips for your visit:

• It takes approximately two to three hours to complete all the stations at the World of Coca-Cola (depending on the size of the crowd). You’re welcome to visit different areas more than once, but there are no in-out privileges.

• There's no onsite café, but the Pemberton Café is located right outside of the museum—it's perfect for a quick bite.

• The entire building is easy for families of all ages to navigate with handicap accessible areas and convenient elevators.

• The WOCC Explorer app provides detailed information and fun pop-ups while walking through different exhibits. (Note: It’s only currently available on iPhone or iPod devices.)

• Keep an eye out for different seasonal activities at the World of Coca-Cola! The holiday season always has special decorations featuring the red and white of Coca-Cola.

A Guide to Visiting World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta, Georgia

D ive inside the history Coca-Cola at this popular museum in Downtown Atlanta! Check out this guide to World of Coca-Cola to help plan your visit.

The queue for World of Coca-Cola is not unlike the queues for a ride at Six Flags — it’s long, it’s in the sweltering Georgia heat, they play videos to keep you entertained, and they have multiple check points to make you feel like you’re getting closer to the ride.

Even the name is reminiscent of an amusement park — it’s a whole world of Coca-Cola, like a whole world of Disney. How is it that a simple museum can make itself seem on the same level as an amusement park?

About World of Coca-Cola

World of Coca-Cola is a museum showcasing the history of the Coca-Cola Company. The original museum was located at Underground Atlanta from 1990-2007 before moving to its current location just a few blocks away from where John Pemberton created the original Coca-Cola formula.

Explore Inside World of Coca-Cola

Before your tour begins, you enter a lobby and receive a bottled Coke to enjoy while you wait for the red doors at the front of the room to open and take you into The Loft.

Inside the Loft are Coke advertisements and promotional products from all around the world, spanning from the brand’s 125 years. Notable artifacts are the first Coke soda dispenser, a Coca-Cola urn, and some groovy Coca-Cola pants from the 70s.

Coca-Cola Theater

The next stop is the Coca-Cola Theater for a short film of memorable moments shared around the world with Coca-Cola.

After the film, you are free to explore the rest of the World of Coca-Cola exhibits at your own pace.

Milestones of Refreshments

In the Milestones of Refreshments exhibit, you can walk through the entire history of the Coca-Cola Company. You’ll start at its beginning with Dr. John S. Pemberton’s pharmaceutical pursuits and Coke’s introduction to the world at the soda fountains.

You’ll also learn about the Coke contour bottle, with its distinctive shape that can be easily recognized in the dark or lying broken on the ground.

Near the end of the exhibit, you’ll learn about the brand’s sponsorship in global events like the Olympics, and you may even have the opportunity to hold an Olympic Torch.

The Vault of the Secret Formula

The Vault is where they store the secret formula for Coca-Cola.

But before you get there, you’ll have to do a little searching through an interactive exhibit on the origins of the secret formula, copycats trying to replicate the formula, how the owners have kept the formula safe, and all the myths and legends of those who claim to know the true formula.

Bottle Works

At the Bottle Works, you’ll be able to watch a slowed-down process of bottling Coke using the same equipment and process as full-sized bottling plants.

Meet the Coca-Cola Polar Bear

My favorite part of the tour is meeting and taking a picture with the Coca-Cola Polar Bear.

The polar bear debuted in a Coca‑Cola print ad in France in 1922 and then appeared in periodical ads for the next 70 years.

The modern polar bear made his debut in the 1993 “Always Coca‑Cola” campaign in a television ad called “Northern Lights” and has appeared in numerous television and print ads since. The polar bear has become one of the most popular symbols of Coca-Cola advertising.

3-D Theater

Go  In Search of the Secret Formula in a multi-sensory movie experience at the 3-D Theater. You’ll follow an eccentric scientist as he tries to find the secret ingredient in every bottle of Coke.

Perfect Pauses Theater

In the Perfect Pauses Theater, you can view Coca-Cola advertisements from around the world.

Pop Culture Gallery

In the Pop Culture Gallery, you can see how fans made the brand a pop culture icon. The gallery features artwork by famous artists such as Andy Warhol, James Rosenquist, and Elena Zolotnitsky.

Scent Discovery

In the Scent Discovery exhibit, you let your nose guide you through sweet, fruity, and spicy smells. A Coca-Cola Ambassador will lead your group through the discovery to guess the origin of a variety of scents.

You’ll learn about the anatomy of smell, and you’ll determine which aroma profiles and Coca-Cola beverages may be your new favorite.

The last stop of the tour is the Taste It! tasting room, where you can try 100+ Coca-Cola product drinks from around the world. The five world tasting stations are arranged geographically with beverages that are unique to that region.

Off to the side is the Coca-Cola tasting station where you can taste different Coke family brands from Diet Coke to Cherry Coke.

Tasting all the flavors is a challenge, but when you need a break, take a seat in by the window behind the Coca-Cola tasting station. When you exit, pick up a commemorative bottle of Coke on your way to the Coca-Cola gift shop.

Things to Do at World of Coca-Cola

There’s more fun to be had at the World of-Coca-Cola!

Attend Special Events

World of Coca-Cola doesn’t hold a ton of special events, but every once in a while you can catch one, usually when Coca-Cola is promoting a new flavor. For Halloween one year, we got to explore the museum after dark for an adults-only costume event in honor of their new Fanta flavor.

Find a Refreshing Gift at the Coca-Cola Store

If you’re a Coca-Cola fanatic like me, you’ll love the Coca-Cola Store. They sell a ton of merchandise from decorative items to apparel to accessories. They even have one-of-a-kind art pieces, many of which are unique to this store.

Dine at the Bottle Cap Café

6 Tips for Visiting World of Coca-Cola

visit coca cola in atlanta

1. Try it All in the Tasting Room

By far, visitors’ favorite attraction at World of Coca-Cola is “Taste It!” That’s because they can taste over 100 (yes, 100+!) flavors of Coke from all over the world. Not only do kids love trying all the sodas (some great, some good and some weird), they get a little geography lesson in the process.

2. Go Beyond the Tasting Room

The Tasting Room may be the talk of the town but WOCC has so much more than that. Visitors can enter a vault that holds the Coca-Cola secret formula . For over 125 years, Coke has managed to keep their recipe on lockdown and this interactive exhibit explains its origins. Check out The Pop Culture Gallery to see how Coke and its iconic logo have been incorporated into our pop culture scene. Learn mind-blowing facts like this one: the image of Santa Claus we use today came from a Coca-Cola ad. Still mad about new Coke? They get into that controversy too.

3. Do the 3-D experience

Kids love to watch movies at museums and this one is a big crowd pleaser. Not only do guests receive 3-D glasses to watch “In Search of the Secret Formula” but their chairs move as well (and they may get wet) to make it a complete 4-D experience. Have a kid who doesn’t like all that movement? They have stationary chairs too.

4. Save Money

You’re not likely going to see coupons and discounts on tickets to WOCC as their general admission prices are pretty reasonable. But here are a couple of ways to save. If you are active duty or a reserved member of the U.S. armed forces or a military retiree , you always get in free. If you buy an annual pass to WOCC, it pays for itself after two visits. Annual pass holders also receive discounts such as $4 off for their guests. And of course, if you plan to visit other Atlanta attractions such as the Georgia Aquarium, CNN and the Zoo (within nine consecutive days), the Atlanta City Pass is a great option.

5. Visit the Polar Bear

No trip to WOCC is complete without meeting the beloved Coca-Cola Polar Bear. Kids (and adults) geek out when they meet the iconic polar bear, who has actually been featured in Coca-Cola ads since 1922. Don’t forget to take a picture with the polar bear; you can take your own or let one of their photographers snap it.

6. Tour, taste, then eat

Plan to arrive when WOCC opens  (to avoid the inevitable crowds) and stay about two hours. After you’ve toured the exhibits and tasted your share of Cokes from around the world, you will surely have worked up an appetite. Many visitors walk to nearby Pemberton Cafe (named after the pharmacist who invented Coca-Cola) for burgers, pizza, salads and kids’ meals. On a nice day you can walk through Centennial Olympic Park to the CNN Center which has a food court full of options. Need more family-friendly ideas? Johnny Rockets and Max’s Coal Oven Pizzeria are walkable from WOCC too.

We have just moved to Atlanta from Canada so we are going to start some new holiday traditions! Usually we get hot chocolate from Tim Hortons and go through the Christmas light display at the local zoo. It’s quite different here in GA without the snow!! We were going to take our 3 boys to the Coca Cola museum and visit Stone Mountain. We have a few other Christmas festivals to check out and hopefully some new traditions are created!

Our favorite tradition is going to the tree farm the Saturday after Thanksgiving to pick out and cut down our Christmas tree.

Our favorite tradition is decorating the tree. We have ornaments to commemorate important events, trips we’ve taken as a family, etc. As we pull out the ornaments, we re-visit those memories together.

Our favorite holiday tradition is to have a holiday white elephant gift exchange ($10 and under) on Christmas Eve with our extended family on both sides. Combine 30-40 crazy relatives, zany unique gifts, and plenty of ‘spirits’ with Christmas snacks and you get an annual ridiculously hilarious Christmas memory!

Every year my family and I make a vow to spend more time together. That was hard with the pandemic and my sister and I are adults now out of the house; she’s a traveling nurse and I’m a teacher. One of the traditions that is a non-negotiable is decorating the tree together as a family. It’ maybe a small tradition, but we take great pride in decorating the Christmas tree and the home we grew up in. We play Christmas music, dance, laugh, and reminisce about past Christmases when we get together. It’s an amazing time and even with busy schedules and a pandemic that has no end in sight, now more than ever we make it a priority to do this with each other every year.

Each of our 8 differnt families have a theme. We wrap their gifts in their theme. We make cut-out cookies for their theme. Each family is given a dated ornament of their theme by monarch and they give an ornament of their theme to the monarch and 7 families.

And when they and their children arrive for Christmas Eve, they are wearing PJ’s of their theme.

It is so fun to look at the tree and the ornaments from Christmas past to remember the years. There is a special tree decorated with family members who have passed. Each ornament has a dated picture and is created by that individual family.

Every Christmas Eve we would spend with my Grandmother and Grandfather when they were living. The whole family together. We may not see each other the rest of the year, or be bickering about something, but on that day, we all got together and got along. I miss that.

My favorite memory is my family going to church on Christmas Eve. Halfway through the service the choir began to sing Joy To The World. When it came time for the chorus the man behind us sang “and heaven and nature sing” VERY loudly in a booming baritone voice. Needless to say it initially scared us and then we broke out in little girl giggles. Great memory of the joy of my youth 🥰

My absolutely favorite holiday tradition was “Adopting a family!” Every year my mom would adopt family (or multiple) and my siblings and I would help her pick out their gifts! One year we got to meet the family, I was a teenager but seeing their faces and how grateful they were for the gifts made my heart soar! We would also spend a lot of our time at shelters during the holidays loving on people. I’m so thankful my mom made that a regular thing for us, it helped to keep us grounded and in a place of being thankful for all we have. I can’t wait to continue this tradition with my boys!! Happy Holidays!!

My absolute favorite tradition that my boyfriend’s family started and has invited me to be a part of is gathering together at a cabin in North GA. Last year, we watched Christmas movies, made hot chocolate bombs, did jigsaw puzzles together, and cozied up by the fire while the snow fell. We’re going again this year and I’m excited to decorate sugar cookies and wear silly Christmas sweaters with them!

Our family loves to ride around of the weekend evenings during the month of December and look at all the holiday lights. We’ve done this every since the kids were babies and although they are teenagers and college aged students now they still enjoy this family tradition. We have a few light displays that are local to us that the neighbors put on every year but I try to find a new display that we haven’t seen before that we drive to view. I hope the kids continue this as they start their own families!

Six years ago my Mom moved here from NC to an assisted living facility. She was moving from her home, her friends, her whole life. My circle of friends immediately pitched in to help, inviting her to Christmas parties and tickets to shows. But the best part were my i-laws, who threw open their doors for a elderly old lady they’d not ever met. She loved the attention, and the laughter of children and the craziness of gifts and food. It was something I could never give her where she lived, and it was gratifying to see her eyes light up.

Coca-Cola has grown from being a simple beverage to representing something much more. It’s an experience! When you see people drinking this soda in the media, they’re always cheerful and spending time with family or friends, on an exciting adventure, or simply enjoying a relaxing day in the sun. The company’s powerful marketing campaigns helped them achieve this image, and you’re welcome to see how they did it. You’ll find the Coca-Cola logo on posters, artwork, music records, and more. You can even hold a real torch from the Olympics that they sponsored!

3. Step Inside “the Vault”

The Vault room at the World of Coca-Cola museum in Atlanta

While the exact recipe is strictly off-limits, you do get a chance to explore “ the Vault ” room where you can learn about its history. John S. Pemberton, unfortunately, passed away two years after inventing the recipe, and Coca-Cola had to make sure it was safe from prying eyes. Plenty of fake recipes have surfaced over time, but none of them come close to the real thing. Near the end of the tour, you get to see the actual vault up close. Yes, the secret recipe is really inside!

4. Taste Beverages From Around the World

You may have heard of some of Coca-Cola’s other beverages, like Sprite, Fanta, and Dasani. But, did you know the list reaches almost 4,000 drinks from around the globe? Atlanta Families

World of Coca-Cola Museum in Atlanta, Ga

Coke museum tells the story of the world’s largest beverage company.

The history of Coke and its influence on pop culture is told in exhibits, three theaters and a tasting room for sampling Coca-Cola products served around the world.

Sip a Sparletta Sparberry from Zimbabwe? Taste a Vegitabeta from Japan, or why not try some Delaware Punch from Honduras? Watch out for the Beverly from Italy – it makes most folks grimace. The tasting room is a highlight of a visit to the World of Coca-Cola museum where spigots of Coke products most of us have never heard of are arranged by continent.

Visitors help themselves to about 60 of the more than 450 Coca-Cola brands served in 200 countries around the globe. They also can go back to the company’s roots and have a Coke only a few blocks from where it was first served in Atlanta in 1886.

Showcasing the History of the World’s Most Popular Soft Drinks

Pharmacist John S. Pemberton created the original Coca-Cola formula for customers to his soda fountain. When Coca-Cola purchased a 20-plus acre former industrial site in downtown Atlanta, it dubbed the location Pemberton Place in homage to the creator of Coke.

In a massive urban renewal project, nine acres of the site were donated for the Georgia Aquarium, which opened in 2005, and 2.5 acres were given for the Center for Civil and Human Rights, opening in 2010. World of Coca-Cola opened on the site in 2007 at roughly double the size of its former museum.

More than 1,000 artifacts are exhibited, including many never on public display. There’s an array of vintage Coke vending machines, a Coca-Cola can that made its way onboard the Space Shuttle, and a 1880’s-era soda fountain similar to one where Pemberton sold his “headache remedy” made of coca leaf extract and distilled water, charging 5 cents a glass.

The exhibit of the first contour glass Coke bottle explains that the shape was a mistake. The designer looked up “coca leaf” in an encyclopedia, but found “cocoa tree” instead. The distinctive bulbous shape – which became one of the best-known symbols in the world – resembles a cocoa tree seed pod. Problem is, cocoa is used to make chocolate, not Coca-Cola.

Coke in Advertising, Art and Pop Culture

More history unfolds in the Coca-Cola Loft area where Coke advertisements from around the world and through history are displayed, including a 1933 ad made with Clark Gable and Joan Crawford. Norman Rockwell’s “Barefoot Boy” painting, created for a Coke calendar in 1931, ranks as among the most valuable artifacts, worth about $2 million.

The Pop Culture gallery displays the work of renowned artists, including Andy Warhol, and the polar bear character made famous in Coke advertising stands in the center of the museum, inviting visitors to join him for a photo. Three films devoted to Coca-Cola TV advertising are shown in the Perfect Pauses Theater, while the Secret Formula 4D theater uses special effects, such as moveable seats, to give viewers a multi-sensory experience.

The global presence of Coca-Cola comes through it an artistic way in the museum lobby where huge Coke bottles are decorated in the folk art of many countries where the soft drink is served. The bottles were commissioned by the company and displayed during the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta.

Take Home a Coke from the World’s Smallest Bottling Plant

Every visitor can leave the museum with a free souvenir – a collectors’-edition glass bottle filled with Coke at the museum’s Bottle Works. Viewers get an inside look at the bottling process while the display churns out 20 bottles a minute.

For those with money to spend on souvenirs, the Coca-Cola Store sells a wide range of merchandise, including collectibles and clothing made from recycled plastic bottles.

Setting an Example of Environmental Responsibility

The 92,000-square-foot World of Coca-Cola was built green according to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards. Ninety percent of its construction waste was reused or recycled. Inside, the floors are made of bamboo, which is quick growing, and carpet made from recycled PET plastic. Disposable cups in the tasting room look like plastic, but are actually made from corn starch and are biodegradable.

Waterless urinals and other efforts to conserve energy and water use are used throughout the building. Water conservation remains a major initiative of the company, which depends so heavily on clean water sources for its products. Every 12-ounce of Coke contains 10 ounces of water.

World of Coca-Cola Ticket Availability and Savings

A tour of the World of Coca-Cola averages about 90 minutes. To guarantee admission time, visitors can purchase tickets online at the museum’s Web site where current hours and admission prices can be found. Tickets can also be purchased by phone at (800) 676-COKE or, if available, at the main entrance ticket window.

World of Coca-Cola honors CityPass tickets, which makes an Atlanta vacation more affordable. CityPass also includes reduced-price admission to Atlanta area attractions, such as the Georgia Aquarium , CNN, and the Atlanta History Center, which operates the Margaret Mitchell House .

In addition to tasting the delicious soda, you can participate in the interactive scent exhibit, view a 3-D movie, shop in the themed gift shop, and even take a picture with the Coca-Cola Polar Bear!

Where is it located?

After flying into Atlanta you will just have a short 12 mile drive to the museum. The museum is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Atlanta, at 121 Baker St NW.

I would recommend getting a  rental car  as the city can be a bit spread out, however, there are alternatives if you’d rather use public transportation.  MARTA  and the  Atlanta Streetcar  are some of the most popular options, and they’re pretty easy to figure out. Ubers and Lyfts are also plentiful virtually every hour of the day.

Tip!  Use the  Discover Cars Search Engine  to find the best rental car deal in Atlanta!

Editor’s note – April 23, 2024 – The quotation from Judson Althoff was updated following initial publication.

ATLANTA and REDMOND, Wash . — April 23, 2024 — Microsoft Corp. and The Coca-Cola Company on Tuesday announced a five-year strategic partnership to align Coca-Cola’s core technology strategy systemwide; enable the adoption of leading-edge technology; and foster innovation and productivity globally.

As part of the partnership, Coca-Cola has made a $1.1 billion commitment to the Microsoft Cloud and its generative AI capabilities. The collaboration underscores Coca-Cola’s ongoing technology transformation, underpinned by the Microsoft Cloud as Coca-Cola’s globally preferred and strategic cloud and AI platform.

Through the partnership, the companies will jointly experiment with groundbreaking new technology like Azure OpenAI Service to develop innovative generative AI use cases across various business functions. This includes testing how Copilot for Microsoft 365 could help improve workplace productivity.

“Through our long-term partnership, we have made significant progress to accelerate system-wide AI Transformation across The Coca-Cola Company and its network of independent bottlers worldwide,” said Judson Althoff, executive vice president and chief commercial officer at Microsoft. “We are proud to support Coca-Cola as it continues to embrace the era of AI and looks to solutions like Azure OpenAI Service and Copilot for Microsoft 365 to drive innovation across every area of its business.”

Coca-Cola has migrated all its applications to Microsoft Azure, with most major independent bottling partners following suit. As a pioneer in AI adoption, Coca-Cola has been innovating with generative AI for nearly a year and has already leveraged Azure OpenAI Service to reimagine everything from marketing to manufacturing and supply chain and beyond. The company is currently exploring the use of generative AI-powered digital assistants on Azure OpenAI Service to help employees improve customer experiences, streamline operations, foster innovation, gain a competitive advantage, boost efficiency and uncover new growth opportunities.

“This new agreement builds on the success of Coca-Cola’s partnership strategy with Microsoft, showing our commitment to ongoing digital transformation,” said John Murphy, president and chief financial officer of The Coca-Cola Company. “Our partnership with Microsoft has grown exponentially, from the $250 million agreement we initially announced in 2020 to $1.1 billion today.”

The agreement reflects a significant step in advancing Coca-Cola’s digital transformation, focused on providing expanded access to Microsoft’s cloud and AI platforms — as well as solutions such as Microsoft 365, Power BI, Dynamics 365, Defender and Fabric — to enhance efficiency and scalability while fostering innovation across the system.

“Our expanded partnership with Microsoft is an important next chapter in Coca-Cola’s journey toward a digital-first enterprise powered by emerging technologies,” said Neeraj Tolmare, senior vice president and global chief information officer for The Coca-Cola Company. “Microsoft’s capabilities help accelerate our adoption of AI to create incremental enterprise value.”

Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park has announced a “complete refurbishment” of more than 600 rooms and suites.

Furthermore, the property recently underwent an official name change from Omni Atlanta Hotel at CNN Center to Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park.

The announcement comes just weeks after CNN decamped from the adjacent building, which will now be known simply as The Center and is about to undergo renovations.

“We are thrilled to embark on this transformative journey,” said Ramon Reyes, General Manager at the Omni. “This renovation and rebranding effort symbolize our commitment to providing unparalleled hospitality experiences while honoring the vibrant spirit of Atlanta. With refreshed accommodations and unique themed suites, we look forward to welcoming guests from near and far to indulge in the essence of our city.”

In the North Tower, new nightstands were inspired by luggage, bold linens make headlines in black and white, and walls are covered in gorgeous graphics. Among these, the Presidential Suite, Governors Suite and Executive Suites have undergone redesign with a blend of elegance and modernity.

In addition to these upgraded accommodations, the Omni is introducing a collection of signature suites that celebrate Atlanta’s iconic attractions and landmarks. These include the Georgia Aquarium Suite, College Football Hall of Fame Suite, and the Coca-Cola Suite. Each suite promises a unique immersion into Atlanta’s rich cultural tapestry.

eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series Race Preview: Talladega

May 6th, 2024 by Justin Melillo

visit coca cola in atlanta

The eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series takes on Talladega Superspeedway on Tuesday night. 40 of the top-ranked eNASCAR drivers are set for three, four, and possibly five-wide pack racing action in the seventh race of the 2024 season. 70 laps are scheduled around the 2.66-mile oval.

Race coverage begins at 8 p.m. ET at eNASCAR.com/live and across iRacing social media channels. Tune in 30 minutes earlier to catch the Countdown to Green at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Last Race : Two weeks ago at Dover Motor Speedway, it all came down to a final restart in eNASCAR Overtime. William Byron eSports’ Tucker Minter had assumed the lead earlier, but M80’s Steven Wilson was going to be tough to hold off. JR Motorsports’ Kaden Honeycutt got in on the action too, but slipped back in the closing moments. Minter and Wilson traded virtual paint on a few occasions, but it was Wilson who wound up on top, winning his second race of the season so far.

Last Year : Fans might remember what was almost Malik Ray’s first win last season. Off of Turn 4 in the 2023 Talladega event, Ray put himself in the right spot to take the lead coming to the line. However, Casey Kirwan, his future teammate, would not be denied. As they rounded the tri-oval, Kirwan shot out of line and took a massive push from Collin Bowden. The forceful bump was enough for Kirwan to steal the win, his first of the season, leaving Ray still wondering when his first would come. (Spoiler alert: it came at Atlanta earlier this year.)

Track Facts : Envisioned by NASCAR founder Bill France Sr. to be even bigger and faster than Daytona International Speedway, Talladega Superspeedway opened in 1969 and has hosted the NASCAR Cup Series ever since. Renowned for its high speeds, Buddy Baker became the first driver in NASCAR history to turn a 200 mile per hour lap at the track in 1970, and Bill Elliott set NASCAR’s all-time qualifying record at Talladega with a speed of 212.809 mph in 1987. Talladega is also known for producing many first-time winners, such as Richard Brickhouse in its inaugural race, and lead changes, sometimes with dozens of drivers leading laps.

Next Race : After Talladega, the series will return again in two weeks’ time for the eighth race of the 2024 season at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Last season, Tucker Minter held on for his second career victory in a heavily contested finish.
