How to watch the West Ham parade online

West Ham fans who are unable to make it onto the streets of the East End can follow the celebrations online via the club’s website whufc.com and social media channels.

“It promises to be a party that no one present will ever forget, after a victory that will be forever etched in the history of West Ham United, and in the record books of European football,” the club said.

“The club welcomes every West Ham fan who is able to be there to line the streets, and give a heroes’ welcome to the Boys of Prague on what is set to be an evening of unforgettable celebrations.

Sullivan said: “I could not be more proud of this magnificent football club. Proud of how far we have come over the last decade. Proud of the manager, the backroom team, and all the staff, who have done a fantastic job. And proud of all the players, from our amazing home-grown talent , to our brilliant international stars, who have given us a night and a triumph that will live forever.”

Sullivan thanked the fans who have created an atmosphere at games which is “second to none”. The club hierarchy look forward to building on this success for all their squads “but for now it is time to celebrate”.

‘The best moment of my career’

Jarrod Bowen admitted that scoring the winning goal in a European final was beyond his wildest dreams. His last-minute strike secured a dramatic 2-1 victory.

The 26-year-old winger raced on to Lucas Paqueta’s through-ball and slotted home to spark wild celebrations on the pitch, the touchline and in the stands.

“I can’t sum it up, it’s the best feeling I’ve had in my career,” said Bowen. “When I went through I had a lot of time and it was just about making sure you put it in. The keeper came out and I think I fell over, I looked up and the ball was going in and I thought, ‘No, this isn’t happening.’

“I spoke to my family before and said, ‘Imagine scoring a goal in the last minute.’ To bring a trophy to this club is the best moment of my career.

“The fans as well, seeing them after the game I was a bit lost for words. It’s the best feeling of my life, never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d win a European trophy. I’m so buzzing, all of us are just going to go mad I think. You have to celebrate.

“When the final whistle went I just thought, ‘This party is going to be crazy.’ I’m just a little boy from Leominster who never thought I’d be talking like this. My family are crying and it just shows me how far I’ve come.”

West Ham led through a Said Benrahma penalty on the hour but were immediately pegged back by Giacomo Bonaventura’s strike.

But when Bowen raced through with a minute to go, boss David Moyes almost found himself going full Jose Mourinho.

“The moment he went through I was edging down the touchline,” he said. “If it was going to be anyone, I thought ‘this is the moment’. But I couldn’t do a full Mourinho knee-slide as the grass was a bit dry and I’d have ended up on my belly.”

The victorious team returned home on Thursday for their parade through east London, starting at 7pm on Barking Road and ending in front of Stratford Town Hall.

8 June 2023 8 June 2023 . From the section West Ham

West Ham will celebrate their Europa Conference League triumph with an open-top bus parade around east London on Thursday evening.

Jarrod Bowen scored a 90th-minute winner to secure a dramatic 2-1 win over Fiorentina in Prague on Wednesday.

It is West Ham's first major trophy since 1980 and their first in Europe since 1965.

"It will be fantastic to see fans from across London fill the streets," said West Ham chairman David Sullivan.

"This trophy belongs to you, and it will be fantastic to all share in the moment. It is time to celebrate."

A specially commissioned bus will carry players and staff from the junction of Green Street and Barking Road, adjacent to the Boleyn Pub, to the Old Town Hall in Stratford on West Ham Lane.

The parade will start at 19:00 BST and is expected to reach the Old Town Hall at 20:00.

The journey resembles that taken by the legendary 1965 squad containing Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst and Martin Peters, who were met by tens of thousands of supporters to celebrate their Cup Winners' Cup triumph.

Sullivan said: "I could not be more proud of this magnificent football club. Proud of how far we have come over the last decade. Proud of the manager, the backroom team, and all the staff, who have done a fantastic job.

"And proud of all the players, from our amazing homegrown talent to our brilliant international stars, who have given us a night and a triumph that will live forever.

"But most of all, I want to pay tribute to the Hammers fans, the Claret and Blue Army, who have once again shown they are the best in the world."

The Irons will start their celebrations by paying tribute to the likes of Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst, Martin Peters and Alan Sealey who won the club's last European trophy at the Champions Statue on Barking Road. They will then head along Barking Road to the Greengate Street Junction.

From there the open-top bus will turn right and proceed along Greengate Street, the High Street, New Plaistow Road and West Ham Lane. The tour will finish with an event in front of Stratford Town Hall.

If you’re looking to head out and celebrate, the tour will kick off at 7pm. It’s thought the parade will end at Stratford Town Hall at approximately 8pm.

How to get to the West Ham parade route

The best way to get to the parade route is to head to Upton Park tube station (District and Hammersmith & City lines). The beginning of the tour is just a short walk from there.

However, if you’re looking to go for the finale, the closest station is Stratford, which can be accessed from Elizabeth Line , Jubilee and Central lines, Overground, c2c and DLR. The address for Stratford Town Hall is 29 The Broadway, London E15 4BQ.

Best places to watch the parade

Thousands of fans are likely to descend upon the parade route and if you want to get amongst the action, finding a spot on Barking Road, Greengate Street (A112), High Street, New Plaistow Road and West Ham Lane, as well as The Broadway where the town hall is located.

If you’re looking to bask in the early summer night, there are a number of outdoor spaces you can head to on the route. The parade passes Plaistow Park and Stratford Park, both located on Greengate Street.

There are also a number of watering holes frequented by West Ham fans as well, firstly starting at The Boleyn Tavern where the parade kicks off. They had a big screen set up for the final, so no doubt they will be busy tonight, too.

Along the longest of the route, fans will find The Black Lion on Plaistow High Street. The pub has already invited fans to come down and spectate outside their doors.

Just a bit further down is the Victoria Tavern, a self-confessed Irons boozer. Their public Facebook group has confirmed they will be open to those wanting to come and celebrate.

The GreyHound on West Ham Lane shows all of the teams matches, so it's safe to say they’ll be welcoming parade-goers.

West Ham trophy parade: Club confirm route and time details after winning Europa Conference League

West Ham have confirmed plans for a victory parade on Thursday to celebrate their Europa Conference League win.

Jarrod Bowen scored a dramatic late winner as the Hammers beat Fiorentina 2-1 in Prague to claim their first trophy in 43 years.

West Ham players and manager David Moyes are due to return home on Thursday and will celebrate their historic triumph with an open-top bus parade in east London.

The parade will start at Upton Park and finishing with a reception at Stratford Town Hall.

Confirming details of the parade, West Ham said in a statement: “West Ham United’s heroes will return from their triumphant night in Prague to a victory celebration in the streets of East London on Thursday evening.

“The playing squad and coaching staff will parade the Club’s first major trophy since 1980 on a specially-commissioned open top bus, travelling from the Hammers’ old home at Upton Park to a reception at Stratford Town Hall.

“Wednesday night’s historic victory over ACF Fiorentina in the UEFA Europa Conference League final has delivered the first European trophy to East London since the legendary West Ham team starring Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst, Martin Peters and Alan Sealey won the Cup Winners’ Cup at Wembley in May 1965.

“In the celebrations that followed that triumph, Moore and his team-mates greeted tens of thousands of supporters from the roof of their parade bus, before the captain held the trophy aloft from the balcony of East Ham Town Hall, standing alongside the Mayor of Newham.

“Almost 60 years on, the new generation of trophy-winning Hammers heroes will pay tribute to their predecessors in our heartland, starting the parade at the junction of Green Street and Barking Road, adjacent to the Boleyn Pub and The Champions Statue.

“The parade will then proceed west along Barking Road, turn right onto Greengate Street, and continue slowly along the A112 past Plaistow Park, Plaistow Station and Stratford Park, before ending its journey on West Ham Lane, outside the Old Town Hall in Stratford – at the heart of our home borough of Newham and where our current home resides.

Victorious West Ham parade around East London after Europa Conference League win

ITV News Correspondent Geraint Vincent reports on the celebrations after West Ham ended their 43-year wait for a trophy

Jubilant West Ham players celebrated their victory over Fiorentina in the Europa Conference League final with a victory parade through the streets of east London - from the site of the club's former stadium in Upton Park to Stratford Town Hall.

The Hammers beat Fiorentina 2-1 in Prague on Wednesday night.

Jarrod Bowen’s last-minute winner saw West Ham end their 43-year wait for a trophy with a dramatic victory.

West Ham fans and players celebrated into the early hours following the club’s historic Europa Conference League win.

The Hammers’ victory over Fiorentina in Prague sealed their first trophy in more than 40 years.

The playing squad and coaching staff paraded the club’s first major trophy since 1980 on an open-top bus.

Here is the exact route the bus took:

It started at the junction of Green Street and Barking Road, adjacent to the Boleyn Pub and The Champions Statue, before proceeding west along Barking Road, turning right on to Greengate Street.

It then continued along the A112 past Plaistow Park, Plaistow Station and Stratford Park, before ending its journey on West Ham Lane, outside the Old Town Hall in Stratford.

ITV News London has spoken to West Ham fans in Prague, at their home in East London and some celebrity supporters too.

Watch ITV News London's interviews with former Hammers player Anton Ferdinand and super fan, and celebrity mathematician Bobby Seagull

During the match, some fans clashed with riot police after setting off flares as they celebrated following the game.

A scuffle broke out after officers tried to confiscate a lit flare as fans gathered in the Old Town area of the city and riot police stormed a group after they lit a second flare, with fans responding by pelting the officers with bottles and missiles.

Earlier on Wednesday, Czech police said they had detained at least 16 Italian fans after they attacked West Ham supporters outside a bar, with videos shared on social media showing chairs and fireworks being thrown.

There was also controversy during the match as Cristiano Biraghi of Fiorentina was seen bleeding from the back of the head after he appeared to have been hit by an object thrown from a West Ham section of the stadium.

Now Moyes has written his name in West Ham folklore, joining Ron Greenwood and John Lyall as trophy-winning Hammers managers.

A place in next season’s Europa League means the club has qualified for Europe three seasons in a row, for the first time.

Declan Rice, destined to leave this summer but with the legacy of becoming only the third captain, along with Bobby Moore and Billy Bonds, will lift silverware in the club’s 128-year history.

The Hammers have given their fans, 5,000 of whom were – officially at least – in attendance and the 20,000-or so who just wanted to be in Prague for their first European final in 47 years, the ride of their lives.

West Ham fans pack streets for open-top bus parade after Europa Conference League triumph

West Ham secured their first major trophy in 43 years after winning the Europa Conference League - and the Hammers decided to celebrate on their return to England by hosting a Victory Parade

West Ham players celebrate with an open-top bus parade in East London

West Ham fans brought East London to a standstill on Thursday as they watched their team's open-top bus parade in celebration of their Europa Conference League triumph.

The Hammers secured a last-gasp 2-1 victory over Fiorentina in Prague on Wednesday to secure their first major trophy since 1980. Jarrod Bowen's 91st minute strike earned the victory for David Moyes ' side on a memorable night in Czech Republic, with Said Benrahma scoring West Ham's other goal.

It sparked emotional scenes after the game at the Eden Arena as the players celebrated with their families and the 6,000+ supporters inside the stadium. Declan Rice was pictured crying following the trophy lift, while Moyes brought his 87-year-old father down from the stands and onto the playing surface.

The party continued long into the evening in the Czech capital as the West Ham squad were pictured out in the early hours of Thursday morning. Benrahma was spotted taking selfies with some eagle-eyed fans at 5am, while Rice and Moyes danced away as they celebrated long after their famous success.

However, the West Ham players and staff had to board home a two-hour flight from Prague on Thursday afternoon to get back for their Victory Parade in East London. Thousands of Hammers flooded the streets as they welcomed home the heroes that ended their 43-year trophy doubt.

The Hammers squad started the parade at the junction of Green Street and Barking Road, adjacent to the Boleyn Pub and The Champions Statue. The bus then proceeded west along Barking Road, turned right onto Greengate Street, and continued slowly along the A112 past Plaistow Park, Plaistow Station and Stratford Park.

West Ham fans were in delightful mood in the glorious sunshine and could not wait to greet the stars, who will have their name firmly etched in the history books. None much so than match-winner Bowen and captain Rice, who were both pivotal on the Hammers' run to the final.

Rice was awarded with the Player of the Season prize for his efforts, while five other West Ham players made the Team of the Season. Alphonse Areola, Nayef Aguerd, Lucas Paqueta, Michail Antonio and Bowen joined Rice in the side, with Nico Gonzalez, Andy Diouf, Dan Ndoye, Nikola Milenkovic, Cristiano Biraghi making up the XI.

That would have been the icing on the cake for the West Ham players who made the team as all six featured on the bus tour along with the remainder of the squad. After making its way to Stratford Park, the bus ended its journey on West Ham Lane, outside the Old Town Hall in Stratford - at the heart of their new home borough of Newham.

Also on the open-top bus was Bobby Moore's daughter Roberta. Late England World-Cup winning captain Moore made over 600 appearances for the Hammers and is recognised as a club legend for what he achieved, including being the last and only West Ham captain to lift a European trophy prior to Rice.

Speaking at the open-top bus parade, West Ham boss Moyes said: "Incredible. We had incredible support in Prague and here in East London is sensational. We had a brilliant night. What a finish by Jarrod Bowen and it was a great moment for us all. We will enjoy what we have done just now - 14 wins and one draw in the Europa Conference League. Last year we got to a semi final but this year we have won the final!"

Declan Rice added: "Incredible.

Speaking after his side's famous win, chairman David Sullivan said: "I could not be more proud of this magnificent football club. Proud of how far we have come over the last decade. Proud of the manager, the backroom team, and all the staff, who have done a fantastic job. And proud of all the players, from our amazing home-grown talent, to our brilliant international stars, who have given us a night and a triumph that will live forever.

"But most of all, I want to pay tribute to the Hammers fans, the Claret and Blue Army, who have once again shown they are the best in the world. They have been incredible this season. Packing out the London Stadium match after match, creating an atmosphere home and away that is second to none, and showing teams all over Europe how massive this Club is.

"When we moved to the new ground, we dreamed of moments like this. Our task now is to build on this triumph, and the double-winning feats of our Under-18 Academy team, ensuring that every time our men and women start a new season in West Ham United colours, they are competing for more success.

"But for now, it is time to celebrate. It will be fantastic to see Hammers fans from across London fill the streets to welcome our heroes back from Prague, and all our supporters over land and sea join the party on our Club channels. This trophy belongs to you, and it will be fantastic to all share in the moment."

A tinpot trophy? West Ham have made memories and other clubs should follow

Jacob Steinberg

The Europa Conference League has helped my team win a major trophy. Other English clubs should chase these moments

I had a perfect view of Nigel Reo-Coker’s header. It was the last minute of extra time in the 2006 FA Cup final , the score was 3-3 and West Ham had a free-kick on the left wing. It was their last chance to win a game they had already won twice. The ball came in, Reo-Coker glanced it on and from my position behind the Liverpool goal at the Millennium Stadium I was certain it was going to loop into the far corner.

I picture it sometimes: the ball hanging in the air, the fans getting ready to celebrate West Ham’s fourth FA Cup win, Pepe Reina leaping to his left. There were fingertips in it. Reina just managed to push the ball on to the inside of the post and the dream died when Marlon Harewood, who had been hobbling on one leg for most of extra time, slashed the rebound wide.

Liverpool won on penalties because, well, how else was it going to end? The guy next to me had burst into tears when Steven Gerrard scored in the last minute of normal time.

Most fans never see their team win anything. Since 2006, West Ham have been relegated under Avram Grant, blown one League Cup semi-final against Birmingham City, lost 9-0 on aggregate to Manchester City in another and conceded in the first minute of a Europa League semi-final against the eventual winners, Eintracht Frankfurt. It has always been someone else’s turn to celebrate.

But now the images are of Lucas Paquetá playing the pass, time standing still as Jarrod Bowen ran through and the winger’s shot rolling into the Fiorentina net in the last minute of the Europa Conference League final ; of David Moyes running down the touchline like Pep Guardiola at Stamford Bridge in 2009 and deciding against copying José Mourinho’s knee slide at Old Trafford in 2004; of Declan Rice sitting on the pitch two hours after the final whistle, posing for photos with the trophy and hugging jubilant club staff.

Leaving aside the 1999 Intertoto Cup and a couple of nervy Championship playoff final victories, West Ham had not won anything since beating Arsenal in the 1980 FA Cup final. Winning the Conference League matters. Anyone dismissing it as a tinpot competition is missing the point.

It is just over two years since a group of entitled clubs tried to destroy football by creating a European Super League. The game has changed since West Ham, who were in the old Second Division, beat Arsenal at Wembley 43 years ago. Finances have made it fiendishly hard for mid-table Premier League clubs to challenge for domestic honours. Shocks are rare. Since the advent of the Premier League in 1992, five clubs outside the elite have won the FA Cup: Everton in 1995, pre-Abramovich Chelsea in 1997, Portsmouth in 2008, Wigan in 2013 and Leicester in 2021 .

Even Tottenham, who have Harry Kane, a rich pedigree and a huge stadium, have not won anything since the League Cup 15 years ago. Manchester City, who face Internazionale in the Champions League final on Saturday, are probably about to ease their way to the treble . Newcastle’s rise thanks to investment from Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund is another obstacle for would-be challengers. Ultimately, there is very little reason to think a club of West Ham’s stature is about to repeat Leicester’s 5,000-1 title win of 2016 any time soon, not least because Rice is about to leave for a bigger club.

West Ham’s Declan Rice (left) and David Moyes lift the Europa Conference League trophy.

It makes West Ham’s triumph over Fiorentina special. It was Moyes’s 1,097th game as a manager and his first major trophy. Moyes has put in the hard yards and fought back from dispiriting spells at Manchester United and Sunderland. He has silenced the critics who wrote him off as a dinosaur; he has done a wonderful job since returning to West Ham in December 2019, even though until recently it appeared the Moyes project might have run its course. There were even doubts over his future before the final .

after newsletter promotion

Not once have West Ham treated European football as an inconvenience. They embraced the Europa League last season. The London Stadium, once so unloved, rocked when West Ham beat Sevilla in the last 16 and the 3-0 win at Lyon in the quarter-final will never be forgotten. Losing to Eintracht stung.

It made West Ham even more determined to win the Conference League. Admittedly, the standard in Uefa’s third competition has been mixed. West Ham cruised past forgettable opposition during the group stage and were mostly untroubled during the knockouts. Fiorentina provided by far their toughest test. West Ham did not play particularly well. Victory summed up their season: they did just about enough by sitting deep and waiting for moments to strike on the break.

That approach is unlikely to take them forward in the league. West Ham had a disappointing domestic campaign and there have been grumbles about the quality of the football under Moyes. There were flaws on show against Fiorentina.

Yet nobody cared when Rice went up to lift the trophy. West Ham had secured qualification into the Europa League and provided an example for other English teams to follow. Brighton should not worry about the demands of the Europa League affecting their league form next season and Aston Villa, who have won nothing since the League Cup in 1996, should attack the Conference League under Unai Emery. It is a chance to make some beautiful memories.

West Ham fans ecstatic as squad hosts victory parade to celebrate Europa Conference League win

West Ham lift trophy

Thousands of West Ham United fans have lined the streets of east London for a victory parade after the squad lifted their first major trophy in more than 40 years.

A bus carrying the Hammers emblazoned with the sign "Winners" struggled to make its way through the sea of delighted supporters celebrating their team's 2-1 win against Fiorentina in Prague on Wednesday night.

Players travelling on the open-top double-decker bus let off claret and blue flares amid the deafening sound of cheering crowds on the ground.

Fans were seen on the statue of the late West Ham and England captain, Bobby Moore, while others climbed on top of traffic lights to get the best view of the squad.

Bubbles also floated through the sky, honouring the team's famous chant, "I'm forever blowing bubbles".

West Ham tweeted footage of the celebrations, describing their supporters as "the best fans in the world".

They claimed their first piece of silverware since lifting the FA Cup in 1980 and their first European trophy since 1965.

The historic victory - secured by Jarrod Bowen scoring the winning goal in the 90th minute - saw the stadium erupt in celebrations which continued into the early hours of the morning.

Dancing, singing and the streets a sea of claret and blue: West Ham fans enjoy 'euphoric' celebrations after European success

Sky News correspondent Rachael Venables

News correspondent

It was a day West Ham fans have been dreaming about for decades, and they made sure the players and coaching staff onboard the open topped buses knew exactly what Wednesday’s victory meant to them.

“It’s euphoric," said Roberta Moore - the daughter of England and West Ham legend Bobby Moore, who was the last captain to win a trophy in Europe.

She wasn’t wrong. The atmosphere on those buses was incredible; you looked out over a sea of people in claret and blue, walking with the team, hands in the air, while being deafened by thousands of people singing, cheering and shouting.

It must have meant the world to the players, who didn’t stop dancing, singing and throwing merchandise down to the fans for the entire journey.

As for the fans themselves, I saw plenty of tears, both from those who had never seen West Ham lift a trophy in their lifetime, and those who remembered the good old days, and feared for a time that they never would again.

Talk of recent criticism over David Moyes management, or Declan Rice’s expected departure from the club, was all forgotten.

“For now” one beaming fan told me, “none of that matters, we’re just here to enjoy this moment and celebrate our team.”

He’ll be hoping they don’t have decades to wait until they can celebrate like that again.

The win saw captain Declan Rice - likely to leave the club this summer - become the third West Ham skipper, aside from Bobby Moore and Billy Bonds, to lift silverware in the club's 128-year history.

He told Sky Sports News: "When you're a kid, and you love football as much as I do, as the lads do, you see teams have trophy parades.

"I was once a kid watching teams do trophy parades and to now be on one and captain the side last night, is so, so special, I can't even put it into words, it's not hit me yet."

Bowen said the silverware "means the world" to the team and their fans.

Manager David Moyes was seen drinking a beer and dancing to The Proclaimers song I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) along with players in the team's changing room after their win.

The victory parade started at the Champions Statue - a bronze tribute to Moore, Sir Geoff Hurst, Martin Peters, and West Ham's 1965 European Cup Winners' Cup success - on Barking Road, close to the team's former home at Upton Park.

It was due to travel through Plaistow and West Ham before finishing with an event at Stratford town hall.

West Ham have confirmed that they will celebrate Wednesday evening's Europa Conference League victory with an open-top bus parade on Thursday night.

The Hammers beat Fiorentina 2-1 at the Eden Arena in Prague after spending much of the match pinned back by the heavy-pressing Serie A side.

But Jarrod Bowen became the hero of the hour with his winner struck in the 90th minute to see the club lift their first European trophy in over 58 years.

Despite struggling in the Premier League, Wednesday's triumph will enshrine the 2022-23 campaign in the club's history books, and West Ham's hierarchy are keen to commemorate the significant achievement.

The club confirmed that the parade is set to start at 7pm, and will take the players through the streets of east London from the Hammers' old ground at Upton Park to Stratford Town Hall, where the players and coaching staff will be given a reception.

The route mimics that taken by the 1965 squad led by Sir Bobby Moore who won the European Cup Winners' Cup - the club's last major European trophy.

As in 1965, the players will be greeted by The Mayor of Newham - Rokhsana Fiaz - and captain Declan Rice will lift the trophy from the balcony in front of a mass of supporters.

Rice has drawn comparisions to a number of West Ham legends such as Sir Bobby and Billy Bonds after clinching the trophy in what could be his final appearance in claret and blue.

The England star's future is as yet undecided , with clubs such as Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea are interested in winning the talented midfielder's signature.

Mail Sport reported on Wednesday evening that ahead of kick-off, West Ham had painted a bus commemorating a potential win to ensure they weren't caught out should David Moyes' side beat the Coppa Italia finalists.

West Ham's co-chairman David Sullivan shared his great pride at the club's achievement alongside the parade's announcement, but admitted that the victory came with one regret - that former chairman David Gold was not alive to watch his team's seismic win.

Gold, who with Sullivan bought into the club in 2010, passed away in January of this year at the age of 86.

Sullivan said: 'I could not be more proud of this magnificent football club. Proud of how far we have come over the last decade. Proud of the manager, the backroom team, and all the staff, who have done a fantastic job. And proud of all the players, from our amazing home-grown talent, to our brilliant international stars, who have given us a night and a triumph that will live forever.

'But most of all, I want to pay tribute to the Hammers fans, the Claret and Blue Army, who have once again shown they are the best in the world. They have been incredible this season.

'Packing out the London Stadium match after match, creating an atmosphere home and away that is second to none, and showing teams all over Europe how massive this Club is.'

The Europa Conference League is the third cup that the club has added to their overall trophy cabinet this season after their youth side beat Arsenal in the FA Cup Youth final  in April, and won the U18 Premier League title.

Sullivan stressed that the club would seek to 'build on this triumph' next season.

'But for now, it is time to celebrate. It will be fantastic to see Hammers fans from across London fill the streets to welcome our heroes back from Prague, and all our supporters over land and sea join the party on our Club channels,' Sullivan added.

This trophy belongs to you, and it will be fantastic to all share in the moment.

'Sadly of course, there is one man who will not be there, someone who did so much to help deliver this success to our Club, and - in all the joy and excitement of the victory - the one thing I missed was being able to turn to him, see his smile, and shake his hand. But I know how proud he would have been too. This is for you, DG (David Gold) - our dreams beginning to come true.'
