Two of our primary exhibits include mechanical music and preserved classic automobiles. The mechanical music display explores hundreds of machines, such as nickelodeons, band organs, and music boxes. In addition to seeing the sights, you will hear the great sounds of the music from days gone by. Additionally, we have a jam-packed display of store window animations, dolls, doll houses, model airplanes, circus and patriotic art, holiday items, and many more wonderful surprises. Take a ride on our tram and enjoy a guided tour through our vast collection! Reservations required for private tours Tuesday - Wednesday. Family friendly fun and a unique diversion from the daily grind. This was an unexpected pleasure of an experience, and a quirky trip down memory lane. I wasn't sure what exactly to expect when we were given tickets as a gift a while back. The tour experience is about an hour's drive away for us, but was well worth it! The staff were pleasant, professional and incredibly knowledgeable about the pieces within this eclectic collection. There was honestly so much to see along the tram ride that there's no way possible to see it all even with multiple rides. Not only was this a fun experience, it was also one rich with historical value. My daughters even loved the experience and want to return again soon. As we visited during the pandemic, masks and social distancing were in place. We were the only ones on our tram ride which made it an even more memorable experience. The tram navigates through a massive warehouse which is busting at the seems with memorabilia, childhood toys, automobiles, carnival collections, Guinness Book of Records items, store displays, sports memorabilia, miniature scenes/dioramas, musical items/instruments, and so much more. The price was incredibly reasonable, especially for the take-a-way knowledge and feel-good experience you're left with. It's definitely worth a visit! What will you find on your 1st visit? 5th? Beyond? (And don't forget to share your photos.)

This was a really cool experience! I found information for this tour online and it was fairly inexpensive -- $15 per person and they do give a senior and military discount. There is a gift shop located downstairs, but it wasn't open during our visit, so I'm assuming they're either closed on weekends or just have different hours in general than the tour does. We walked in and made our way upstairs. I purchased tickets on site, but you can also do so online! The website recommends purchasing online because their tour could sell out, which had me worried at first, but upon arrival, there were maybe 8 people total on our tour. They have two different sections -- the toy of and the music room. The first is a guided tram ride and the other is your standard, self guided, 'please don't touch the things behind the rope' tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, but the tram ride tour was my favorite. The only bummer is you're not allowed to go back through on foot! There's a lot to see and it's hard to take it all on while you're listening to the driver give his presentation, so it would have been nice to be able to go back and get a closer look. Regardless, it was really fun and we had a blast looking at the miniatures in the music room too. This collection is only 1/8 and is growing everyday! They won't tell you whom the collector is, but there is a team to contact in case you have anything out of the ordinary you're looking to get rid of. I definitely recommend coming to see some of it for yourself :)

The HUGE HUGE old tire factory in Oaks, PA was turned into a spot that many businesses, that require a lot of space, use to entertain or sell people (you and me) stuff. (Furniture stores - Go Kart tracks - American Treasure items that number in the hundreds of thousands of pieces - maybe even millions) My 2 sons and I paid $25.00 This is a laid back museum that shows a collectors collection. I love this kind of stuff! The first room is the music room - hundreds of piano and upright music boxes. One plays full size violins and you could get very close to see how they all worked. There is a wall of old radios and tables and table of miniatures and shadowboxes. It's crazy! the rafters and wall hold record albums from all eras. (Remember - this used to be a factory - the rooms are huge and the ceilings are high.) The next room has everything from cars, jeeps organs, signs, motorcycles, movie posters, toys, trains, old video electronics, etc. It would take less time to tell you what is NOT in the room. Next you get on an electric tram and they drive you around to multiple other rooms full of signs and large heads of presidents. More bikes and airplanes (100s of them) and clowns (eww) and TV personalities and animation art and three stooges and large Sony Walkmans, etc. The place is insane. A hoarders dream but all neatly placed in groups. If you missed something on the tram ride. Too bad - you can't walk back there like you can the first two rooms. The bad - the audio didn't work on the tram and it was hard to hear the tour guide. The rooms were on the darker side and it was hard for my boys to get sharp photos. The two overhead lights near the Vespa Cars were humming so loud (bad ballast is my guess) I could hardly hear my boys and it drove me nuts. The only reason I knew it was a tire factory is that I over heard the tour guide on the tram before us. Ours never mentioned it. That seemed pretty important to me. We spent about 2 hours there (boys ages 9 and 11)
Extremely interesting collection of everything from toys, old cars, musical instruments & so much more.
Located in an old tire factory in Oaks, PA (in the vicinity of The Dump), American Treasure Tour is...peculiar. Essentially you'll see a collection of what your Aunt Gertrude, the hoarder, might have put together if she had unlimited financial resources. I wanted to love it -- I'm a bit of a collector myself and love pop culture and museums -- but the displays were wildly erratic and jumbled, and often the staging made little sense. The museum's music room was actually one of the most fascinating aspects to me with a stellar collection of player pianos and other musical gadgets, including self-playing violins, set to play, one after another. And, as a longtime miniature enthusiast, I also enjoyed the various dollhouses throughout the room. But again, there seems little rhyme or reason to the collection. The tram tour was rough. It was an unusually hot and muggy day, and the general museum is not air-conditioned. There are a lot of cool things -- one of the first Corvette cars, some wonderful mechanical Christmas displays originally housed in store windows, an interesting collection of mechanized airplanes (kind of difficult to see as they were all above us) -- and the tour guide was great and seemed genuinely enthusiastic. There's no avoiding the odor of just so much old junk. I felt like it stayed with me long after leaving. And the lighting could be better, as could the comfort level. But keep in mind if you've read this far: I come from a family of hoarders and have to curb the tendency in myself. That may have colored my experience. You may just love it!
Looking for something different, look no further than the American treasure tour. A museum, a tram ride a unique experience different from any other museum you have seen (Ripleys's included) this culmination of curiosities; a single (anonymous) individuals lifetime of collecting consisting of nostalgic player pianos, radios, dioramas, dolls, cars, bicycles, movie memorabilia, and pretty much anything else you could imagine on display for all to experience. Located in Oaks PA within the old tire factory off of 422 a sure thing to add to your road trip bucket list.
Cursten (sp?) saved the day here. We "sat" in the very (VERY) back and were able to enjoy a well-guided tour. Thanks again to kerstin and the rest of the folks here. Make sure to ask for kehrston as your guide.
The Smithsonian may be America's attic, but the American Treasure Tour is America's awesome basement - filled with oodles of amazing, rare and utterly unique things AND stuff! There's so much on display that your eyes won't even be able to keep up with what it sees! Totally worth the trip, and can't wait to return!

A fun place to visit with so much to see. A thirty year collection of vintage and current Americana objects. Check out the miniature collection, player pianos, and dollhouses etc in the museum before or after your tram tour through the warehouse where you wilk see everything from antique cars and motorcycles to animated Christmas and Easter decorations. I will definitely go back a few more times because you cannot possibly take in everything in one visit. A good place to take children, parents, grandparents or friends. Plan on being here about an hour and a half-two hours.
If you look Wurlitzer music and taking a trip down history, this is the place for you. Staff at the counter were friendly and genuinely interested in you having a good time. Part guided tour in a tram as well as walking about in designated areas. I had to leave with a CD purchased of some music. Ample parking the entrance was a little tricky to find being from out of state. Its my favorite place so far visiting Philly because it's silly.

GEAR WE PLAY
As America, the perennial classic-rock favorite, hits the road in 2024, they're celebrating their 54th Anniversary with their powerful performances. America met in high school in London in the late 1960s and quickly harmonized their way to the top of the charts on the strength of their signature song "A Horse With No Name." America became a global household name and paved the way with an impressive string of hits following the success of their first #1 single. Fifty plus years later, these friends are still making music, touring the world and thrilling audiences with their timeless sound.
America's journey has found them exploring a wide variety of musical terrain. Their best-known tunes, which also include "I Need You," "Ventura Highway," "Don't Cross The River," "Tin Man," "Lonely People," and "Sister Golden Hair" were cornerstones of 1970's Top 40 and FM rock radio. Yet beyond their impressive catalog of hits, listeners would discover there was always much more to America than surface perceptions. The combination of melodic pop rock and folk-jazz elements, slinky Latin-leaning rhythms and impressionistic lyric imagery contrasted well with other more traditional country-rock leanings and highly personal lyrics.
America's albums--six certified gold and/or platinum, with their first greatest hits collection, History, hitting four plus million in sales--displayed a fuller range of the trio's talents than did their singles. Their material encompassed an ambitious artistic swath; from effects-laden rockers to oddball medleys to soul-bearing ballads, America displayed a flawless blend of disparate genres and styles as wide-open as the great American plains.
Enjoying massive success early in their career, America earned their stripes as musical soldiers on the battlefield amidst the excess, craziness and chaos of the 70's. The trio won the Grammy for Best New Artist in 1972 and began working with George Martin and Geoff Emerick in 1974. This successful team went on to record seven albums and several Top Ten hits, including "Tin Man," "Sister Golden Hair" and "Lonely People."
By the mid-70s, inter-band conflicts combined with an exhaustive touring and recording schedule exacted its toll on the group. With Peek's departure from the fold in 1977, the band rose to the challenge and carried ono. Shifts in sound and direction, changes in producers and managers, and a renewed dedication to the craft of songwriting helped rocket America to the upper reaches of the pop charts in 1982 with their smash single, "You Can Do Magic." During this tumultuous time in their career, the band immersed themselves in their craft, infusing a newfound maturity into their rich body of work. Their growth as singers, songwriters and musicians has continued into the present day as illustrated by landmark releases such as 2000's Highway 3-disc box set, 2002's Holiday Harmony, an album comprised of seasonal classics and live showcases, 2007's Here & Now, 2009's Live In Concert: Wildwood Springs, 2011's Back Pages, and 2015's Lost And Found and America: Archives Vol. 1.
In 2020, the band released their ultimate 8-disc anniversary box set, Half Century (America Records), and streamed their concert special America--Live at the London Palladium for the very first time (it is commercially available as a DVD and CD). 2020 also saw the release of the book America, the Band, An Authorized Biography by journalist Jude Warne. She weaves original interviews with the band and many others into a dynamic cultural history of America, the band, and America, the nation. Billy Bob Thornton wrote the foreword.
From their formative years, America has been a band capable of transcending borders with its uplifting music and positive message. Embracing a rainbow of divergent cultures, America's audiences continue to grow, comprising a loyal legion of first, second and third generation fans, all bearing testament to the group's enduring appeal.

Ben Shelton Becomes Highest Ranked American Male Tennis Player for First Time in Career
- Author: Madison Williams
At 21 years old, Ben Shelton is already adding another accomplishment to his resume by becoming the highest-ranked American male tennis player at No. 14 in this week's ATP rankings.
This is also the highest ranking of Shelton's young career. He began the 2023 season at No. 96 in the world, but his achievements over the past year helped propel him to the top 15 in the world.
Shelton surpassed Taylor Fritz for the top American ranking, who now sits at No. 15. Fritz held the title for over a year .
Another accomplishment for the World No. 14 👏 pic.twitter.com/rohTGuqY8d — USTA (@usta) April 15, 2024
The Atlanta native most recently played at the ATP Houston tournament, winning the title over fellow American, Frances Tiafoe. This was just the second title won in Shelton's career.
Last year was the breakout season for Shelton , especially after he faced World No. 1 Novak Djokovic in the U.S. Open semifinals. He beat Tiafoe and another American Tommy Paul on his run to the semifinals. Before that, he lost to Paul in the Australian Open quarterfinals in Jan. 2023.
