Et c'est fou, mais Branka connaît bien Steve le chercheur du Loch Ness ! Notre rencontre avec lui était vraiment incroyable ! On s'est vraiment pris au jeu et on a passé trois jours de pur bonheur et de joie. Je recommande vivement cette expérience à tous ceux qui veulent découvrir l'Écosse de manière authentique et magique ! Et les paysages en valent vraiment le coup : à peine une heure après Édimbourg, vous ne cessez plus de sortir votre appareil photo et de photographier tout ce que vos yeux admirent. 🇬🇧This tour with our guide, Branka, was absolutely amazing! She told us all stories about Scotland, from myths to legends, and it was really captivating. And you know what? And it's crazy, but Branka knows Steve the hunter from Loch Ness! Our encounter with him was truly incredible! We really got into the game and spent three days of pure happiness and joy. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to discover Scotland in an authentic and magical way! And the landscapes are really worth it: just an hour after Edinburgh, you can't stop taking out your camera and photographing everything your eyes admire.

Bonnie Scotland

We had an amazing trip with our guide Andrew and driver Davie. Andrew shared the history of the places we visited and kept us entertained with his unique sense of humour. We enjoyed the beauty of the Scottish countryside dotted with sheep and the occasional “Hairy Coo”. Highlights were Culloden, Dunottar Castle, Palace of Scone and the evening of Scottish music and dance.

Country Roads of Scotland (Classic, 9 Days)

The tour by Insight Vacations, Country Roads of Scotland, surpassed our expectations. Hosts at hotels did everything to ensure a smooth and quick check-in and a comfortable stay (knowing in advance that the rooms might be smaller than some travelers are used to was helpful). The food was good overall with lots of choices and variety. The coach was very roomy, lots of space and very comfortable. Peter (tour director) and Steve (driver) worked together as a great team and were always available to assist, answer questions or provide insights.

3-Day Orkney Explorer Small-Group Small-Group Tour from Inverness

Tour was excellent, including the guide. The accommodations were fouled up but finally resolved. It was not clear that all tourist site fees were not included in the tour price. I would use Rabby Tours again. :)

4 Day Islay Whisky Tour

This was the best tour I have ever done and would highly recommend it. Our tour guide, Barney, did an amazing job of making it a very fun and interesting experience!

Guide Margerie and Driver Allister excellent. The tour occasionally strenuous; bus rides whole day. Bus quite confortable; Wi-Fi appreciated. Expected more meals included. Big Tour group - 44 Pax - a bit too many for my taste. When I inquired I was told max will be 35.....for me more acceptable. Hotel's fine except Isle of Skye: "Dunollie"- I had a claustrophobic room; no idea where to put my suitcase. After all the add. single room supplement is not little. Itinerary very interesting.

Pick this tour!!!! Seeing the highlands was a dream come true, and Branka was the most incredible and hilarious guide. She made the trip so so special with her knowledge of the area and folklore and her talent for storytelling. Even when we got delayed due to a closed road we were having a great time and all the other tour busses looked *miserable*. Coach service offers journeys across the UK for knockdown price of £2 each way

Hundreds of cut-price, sustainable intercity journeys are on special offer this week for trips across England, Scotland and Wales

A transport company is offering £2 tickets for coach trips across the UK to be taken up to May 12. With a £1 service fee, that means travellers planning journeys can book long-distance tickets from £3 on the FlixBus website or app.

In England there is a government-backed scheme capping local bus tickets at £2 until December 2024, but this offer opens up longer routes and also applies to journeys into and around Wales and Scotland, where the £2 cap doesn’t exist. So, if you fancy a trip through the blossoming valleys from Bristol to Swansea, or from Glasgow to Inverness via the Cairngorms, now is the time to book. The deal is available until Sunday 21 April.

The international travel tech company is celebrating three years of business in the UK. It runs in partnership with local coach companies using green, branded vehicles. Earlier this year FlixBus launched the first direct electric coach service between London Victoria station and Newport in south Wales two of around 75 UK destinations currently covered by the network.

FlixBus began as a German startup in 2013 and has grown exponentially since then to cover thousands of routes in more than 40 countries, entering the UK market in 2020. Last summer it launched the first ever regular routes from several UK cities, including Leeds and Cambridge, direct to Amsterdam. The buses aim to be cheap, sustainable, easy to book and comfortable, with free wifi and charging points on board.

The lowest-priced journeys include direct routes such as Manchester to Edinburgh, London to Bridgend, Bristol to Newcastle and hundreds more intercity connections. The whole FlixBus Scottish network is part of the £2 scheme with Inverness added as a new destination this month. In Scotland, National Entitlement Card and Young Scot cardholders can get free travel.

Andreas Schörling, managing director of FlixBus UK, said the network offers affordable tickets and “comfortable, modern vehicles” and is celebrating its third anniversary with “£2 travel around the vibrant cities and towns of the UK”. The company aims to “become the best-loved coach brand in the country”, he added, offering “reliable services to as many passengers as possible”.
