Very entertaining and we really enjoyed the tour. Lots of comedy, jump scares and neat, spooky history about Dublin. Really recommend putting this on your to do list if you ever visit Dublin;)
I would not recommend this tour if you're looking for a real like ghost tour with real history input in it. The guide/story teller person was way too dramatic and over exaggerated all of his stories that he was telling. You couldn't really even hear the stories because he kept yelling and laughing at his own "jokes", but it wasn't funny. It was such a huge disappointment. Then when you get to the gravediggers pub your ghoulish drink isn't a drink. It's a shot glass of juice. The stories could have been told in such a better manner with a few jokes thrown in here and there but it was overrated with him screaming and laughing a ton and making over exaggerated sound effects. Unless you're into poor comedy and over exaggerated "acting" I would pass on this tour and look for something else.
Fun and entertaining!!! Great guys putting an awesome twist on history. Great addition to then normal tours because it ADDED to what we were learning on our daytime tours and gave insight to things they don't mention at other places like the Trinity tour or the jail tour!!
Great hosts!
Such fun. 2 actors are excellent. Great for all ages. Reasonable. Worth it. Not to be missed.
So much fun! Hysterical and knowledgeable. My favorite excursion in the beautiful Dublin.
It was ok. The actress doing the tour was great, which is why I gave it three stars. She tried hard to engage everyone. You stop at three locations, and you don't get to go inside any of them. Basically, you ride around in a bus with curtains over the windows (something to be VERY aware of if you suffer from getting car sick), get off the bus at these three stops and she tells you a story. Get back on the bus. It was cute, but 25€ each was pretty steep. Also, the roof of the bus doesn't accommodate for tall people.
Short on time in Dublin? Then you definitely should go on this night tour. We booked last minute (and I mean 30 minutes before the tour started) and it totally made our night. The tour guides were hilarious and we couldn't stop laughing the entire night. They stop at a local pub halfway through the tour and it was one of the best Guinness beer we've ever had. Bring cash (Euros) because this pub does not take credit cards. One of the guides was even kind enough to lend us some Euros for the beer and we paid her back the minute the tour ended after running to an ATM. And remember to tip the tour guides because they do a great job staying in character the whole night. The tour is less scary than it is funny. You'll have a good time if you're looking for an entertaining night.
Very rude driver/host. Not on time and a bit sexist.
The Gravedigger Ghost Tour is not a sight seeing tour! However it is something fun to do at night. They have very amazing actors who will share historical stories. It is creepy and funny. I recommend it for a fun time in Dublin. Also at the end of the tour your stop is John Kavanagh The Gravedigger Pub where you can enjoy a drink! :)
This tour was AMAZING. Our guide Louisa was super funny and kept us laughing the entire trip. This is a must do if you're in Dublin.

The ‘Horror Hike’ Dublin Ghost Tour Experience – As Seen on TV!
Join our professional guides on this ‘world famous’ tour as they take you through the weird and wonderful events in times gone by, unearthing legends and ghosts from the Dublin mountains. The most fun night out in Dublin city guaranteed.
This unique experience offers you fun and adventure with spectacular views from the mountains, and a unique immersive storytelling experience… guaranteed!
As the sun begins to set, we take you by Banshee bus to a magical location south west of Dublin city. A Banshee is bad news, very bad news indeed! Believe me I’ve chanced my arm with enough of them!
We begin our leisurely hike in the Dublin mountains to the peak of the legendary and mysterious Montpelier Hill . It has the most beautiful views overlooking Dublin city unique to this tour.
We are Ireland’s only tour company with a tour permit to the club.
The Hell Fire Club The main plot of this tour is dictated by the dark mysteries that begin to unfold, due to the nature of the past history of the area. As we negotiate the trails and terrain, we are surrounded by nature to set the tone.
When we reach the peak, we encounter the old Megalithic site, confirmed to be constructed by the great ancients of Ireland BC, where a tomb once existed. They laid at rest until disrupted by order of a few free masons radicals.
The site was looted and then destroyed in order to salvage its building materials to build a hunting Lodge in 1735. This lodge is now known in legend as the Hell Fire Club!
The Legend The idle hands of men brought horror to the site…
Your Horror Hike tour guide will reveal the mysteries and legends around the Hell Fire Club and Montpelier Hill.
Plenty of photo opportunities and some free time for yourself to explore the area and experience multiple view points.
Things to Note For this tour, we recommend that you bring rain gear (Irish weather is unpredictable) and the appropriate footwear with ankle protection.
The hike is basic in difficulty, but requires some endurance for the upward hill trails, so keep this in mind.
Our mode of transport to Montpelier Hill is named ‘The Banshee’. She is of Mercedes-build and sports 20 comfy seats with large windows for the ultimate scenic drive.
The tour experience can be different depending on (seasonal) early or late sunsets, with or without rain mist, dark or bright, but the location never disappoints…
Visit our dedicated website at www.horrorhike.ie for more or click any of the images below.
We promise breathtaking scenery, a great sense of achievement and a true Irish bonding experience. You will leave with unforgettable memories of your visit to the Hellfire Club Dublin on this world famous tour.

Tour bus with 48 on board catches fire on I-595 in Davie, causing hours-long WB closure; no injuries reported
DAVIE, FLA. (WSVN) - Crews have extinguished a fire that erupted on a tour bus which led to the hours-long closure of the westbound lanes of Interstate 595 near Nob Hill Road.
Davie Fire Rescue units responded to the bus fire just before 3 p.m. on Friday.
7Skyforce captured firefighters as they tackled the flames that ate through what it could of the bus, leaving only a skeleton of it left over.
Crews were able to knock down the blaze on the double decker bus that had 48 people on board at the time it ignited.
The tourists on the bus ran out of the vehicle to avoid getting burned. They were later picked up.
As the tourists stood on the side of the road for hours, first responders handed them water bottles to keep them hydrated.
No injuries have been reported.
Video shared with 7News by viewers shows black smoke and flames from the bus fire.
Neighbors told 7News that it was a scary sight for them to see.
“We heard it. It shook the house,” said one neighbor. “I could hear something blew up on the highway.”
“Thank God, thank God,” said Joi Patterson, a nearby neighbor when she learned there were no injuries.
Patterson said she heard the commotion on the highway.
“We were in the house and playing with the kids, and all of a sudden, we heard an explosion. It sounded like a big boom,” said Patterson.
“It was really scary. All I could think about is, ‘Oh, my God, I don’t know who was on there, I hope it was empty, I hope they got off if there were people on there,'” said Renee Thomas.
Thomas and other neighbors, like Patterson, said they heard multiple popping noises.
“We suspect, one of my neighbors suspected, that it could be the tires,” said Thomas. I can only imagine how terrifying it might have been for the people that were on there.”
“I saw flames up above the wall, I was like, ‘Holy crap,’ and the smoke, the smoke was horrid. It’s, like, didn’t know what was going on for awhile,” said Patterson.
The westbound lanes were back open to traffic by 4:45 p.m.
But during the hours-long closure, traffic stretched all the way back to Interstate 95.
“I think it’s crazy. We had tons of people directed down this road because you couldn’t get through [State Road] 84 and everything,” said Patterson.
The bus was hooked up to a tow truck and towed away.
It remains unclear what started the fire.

Police identify cyclist who died after collision with Iowa charter bus in Covington
Police have identified the man who died after being struck by a charter bus in Covington Thursday.
Jonathon Hussing, 26, of Covington, was riding a bicycle when he was struck by a charter bus traveling from Iowa to tour the Northern Kentucky area, police said in a news release.
The police previously reported Hussing as a "pedestrian," but they later clarified he was not walking, but rather cycling when he was struck.
Officers responded to the collision at the intersection of 12th and Scott streets just before 9 a.m.
Hussing was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. Just after 12:30 p.m., Lt. Justin Bradbury confirmed Hussing had died.
Detectives and officers with the Covington Police Department's traffic bureau are investigating the crash.
Anyone with information is urged to call detectives at 859-292-2234 or Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040. Nearby residents and business owners are also being asked to contact police if they have camera footage of the incident.
The Enquirer will update this story as more information becomes available.
Tour bus goes up in flames on I-595, causes major traffic delays
The fire broke out of the bus in the westbound lanes of the highway between nob hill road and pine island road, by brian hamacher and jamie guirola • published april 26, 2024 • updated on april 27, 2024 at 10:51 am.
A fire that completely destroyed a tour bus led to major traffic delays and the temporary closure of a portion of Interstate 595 in Broward County Friday afternoon.
The fire broke out of the bus in the westbound lanes of the highway between Nob Hill Road and Pine Island Road.
Cellphone video from witnesses showed the moments after the fire broke out, with the bus completely engulfed in flames and thick black smoke rising into the air.
“It looked like a bomb went off, there was so much smoke," said Matthew Tremellen, who lives nearby. He said beforehand, he heard a loud bang and his whole house shook.

Florida Highway Patrol officials said there were around 50 passengers on board but all evacuated and there were no injuries.
Aerial footage from Chopper 6 showed all westbound lanes closed as Davie Fire Rescue crews doused the bus with water. Some of the lanes later reopened but not before the closure caused major delays.
The double-decker bus appeared to have been completely destroyed by the fire. The passengers could be seen standing on the side of the highway nearby.
The cause of the fire was unknown. FHP officials said they were arranging to have a Broward County bus assist with transporting the passengers.
