Janet jackson returns to the road for summer 2023 tour with stop in dallas.

Music icon Janet Jackson will be coming to Dallas in 2023.

After four years, Janet Jackson is back on tour — and that includes a stop in Dallas. The five-time Grammy Award-winning Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee will return to the road in summer 2023 with her ninth concert tour, called “Together Again."

Produced by Live Nation, the 33-city tour will hit arenas and amphitheaters, launching in Florida in April, followed by stops across North America including New York, Toronto, and California, before wrapping up in Seattle on June 21.

The tour will make three stops in Texas:

• Dallas: Friday, June 2, at Dos Equis Pavilion
• Houston: Saturday, June 3, at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion
• Austin: Sunday, June 4, at Moody Center

She'll be joined by Grammy Award-winning recording artist (and Fast and Furious actor) Ludacris, who will join Jackson across all dates as a special guest.

Jackson's most recent stop was her "Unbreakable" tour in 2017. She'd planned a summer 2020 tour for her Black Diamond World release but that was in the throes of COVID-19 and it got canceled.

The “Together Again” Tour will celebrate Jackson's 50th anniversary in entertainment and feature her biggest chart-topping hits, plus new music.

Tickets go on sale Friday, December 16 at 11 am at LiveNation.com .

New fall tour for Imagine Dragons looms in 2024, with stop in Dallas

Pop rock band Imagine Dragons has made plans for their biggest North American headline tour to date, one which will include a stop at Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas on Wednesday, September 4.

The tour, which kicks off on July 30 in Camden, New Jersey, will hit 29 cities in just under three months across the United States and Canada. In addition to Dallas, they will play in The Woodlands outside of Houston on September 6.

The tour is in support of their forthcoming new album, Loom , which will be released on June 28. Their previous five albums have all reached either No. 1 or No. 2 on the Billboard Rock charts, and in the top 10 on the overall Billboard 200.

The band, which released its debut album in 2012, is best known for hit songs like "Radioactive," "Believer," and "Thunder."

Tickets for the tour will be available starting with a Citi presale beginning on April 23. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale beginning on April 26 at 10 AM at imaginedragonsmusic.com/tour .

About Chris “Ludacris” Bridges

The career of the multi-talented CHRIS “LUDACRIS” BRIDGES can best be described as remarkable. JANET JACKSON, will embark on a four-month North American tour this fall, titled the STATE OF THE WORLD tour, coming to American Airlines Center on September 14.

Janet Jackson's Black Diamond World Tour Stops In Dallas This Summer

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Legendary entertainer Janet Jackson is returning to Dallas this summer.

She is scheduled to perform at American Airlines Center on Monday, August 3.

The Black Diamond World Tour 2020 begins its U.S. portion in June in Miami.

The tour is said to feature brand new music and a special performance of Rhythm Nation.

Janet Jackson Announces 2023 Tour

Janet Jackson has announced a 2023 tour of North America. The Together Again Tour begins in April and stretches into June. It’ll be the singer’s first concert tour since 2019 when she played shows to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Rhythm Nation 1814 . (Jackson had been scheduled to go on tour in 2020 , but the concerts were canceled due to the pandemic .) Find Janet Jackson’s upcoming tour dates below.

Jackson’s latest album, Unbreakable , arrived in 2015. She reissued The Velvet Rope earlier this year.

Janet Jackson announces stops in Texas during 2023 tour

HOUSTON - Multi-Grammy Award-winning singer Janet Jackson will be paying the Lone Star State a visit as part of her 2023 North American Tour.

The highly-anticipated "Together Again" tour, produced by Live Nation, will start Spring 2023 visiting several North American arenas and amphitheaters. As part of that tour, Jackson will be making a stop at the Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas on Friday, June 2, Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Houston Saturday, June 2, and Austin at the Moody Center on June 4. 

Fans of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee will get to partake in celebrating her 50th anniversary in entertainment and spotlight milestones for two of Jackson's most critically acclaimed albums, "The Velvet Rope," and "janet" as well as her new hits.

The "Rhythm Nation" singer will also be joined by fellow Grammy Award-winning recording artist and rapper, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges.

Tickets will go on sale beginning Friday, December 16 at 11 a.m. on Live Nation's website. For Citi cardmembers, there will also be access to presale tickets starting Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 11 a.m. until Thursday, Dec. 15 at 10 p.m., which you can find by clicking here .

Janet Jackson Is Going Out On The ‘Together Again’ Headlining Tour In 2023

There was a moment midway through Janet Jackson’s headlining set at the 2018 Outside Lands Festival where she took what seemed like her first full breath of the night. “It’s a lot of hits, huh?” she asked the rabid crowd. And it really was. Janet has dozens upon dozens of certified #hits, and she’ll finally be taking them on a proper tour of amphitheaters and stadiums in 2023 for the first time in years.

Dubbed the Together Again Tour, there won’t be any festival schedules to look at, just Janet. Well, and Ludacris , who’ll be supporting the “That’s The Way Love Goes” star on each of the cross country and Canada dates of next year’s tour. And as an added bonus, Janet said took to Instagram to also say that, “That there will be new music.”

Ms. Jackson is back and coming to a Texas city near you in 2023!

Huge concert news as  the five-time GRAMMY®️ Award-winning Rock and Roll Hall of Fame®️ Inductee, Janet Jackson, has announced her highly anticipated return to the road after four years with her ninth concert tour, “Together Again.”

The “Together Again” Tour will offer everyone the long-awaited chance to reunite with Ms. Jackson in celebration of her 50th anniversary in entertainment.

Janet is a published author, dancer, businessperson, philanthropist and one of biggest-selling artists in popular music history. With sales of over 180 million records worldwide, Janet Jackson stands as one of the best-selling artists of all time with a string of hits that have left an indelible impression on pop culture.

In 2019, she was inducted the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame alongside her brothers.

In that same year her critically acclaimed Las Vegas residency, “Metamorphosis” closed out to record breaking ticket sales with only 18 dates. . Her critically acclaimed and award winning documentary “Janet Jackson.” brought in over 20 million viewers in one week.

The tour will also spotlight the milestones for two of Jackson’s most critically acclaimed albums: 25 years of “The Velvet Rope”, and 30 years of “janet”, featuring her biggest chart-topping hits, plus new music.

In addition, 3x-Grammy Award winning recording artist and Fast and Furious actor, Ludacris will join Jackson on tour across all dates as a special guest.

Janet Jackson took to Instagram on Monday morning (Dec. 12) to make a live announcement about her 2023 North American arena/amphitheater tour. “I’m going back on tour and, yes, we will be together again,” said the singer with a smile, noting that the name of the outing is Together Again. “I miss you guys so much and I cannot wait to see you,” she added.

The tour is slated to kick off on April 14 in Hollywood, Florida at Hard Rock Live Arena and feature stops in Atlanta, Memphis, Nashville, New York, Atlantic City, Milwaukee, Dallas, Los Angeles and Portland before winding down on June 21 in Seattle, WA at Climate Pledge Arena.

A promotional video promised a night of hits, plus new music during a celebration of Jackson’s 50th anniversary as an entertainer, with a press release noting that the shows will spotlight tow of her most critically acclaimed albums: 1993’s janet and 1997’s The Velvet Rope . The fan pre-sale begins on Tuesday (Dec. 13) at 11 a.m. local time, with the general on-sale kicking off on Friday (Dec. 16) at 11 a.m. local time; click here for more information on tickets. Jackson’s last major tour was in 2019, on which she celebrated the 30th anniversary of her landmark Rhythm Nation 1814 album.

In October, Jackson surprised friends and fans by showing up at a London party celebrating the 25th anniversary reissue of her 1997 Velvet Rope album. The set was re-released on Oct. 7 via digital retailers and streamers with additional bonus tracks, including 10 cuts that made their official streaming debut.

“I was going through so much in my life,” Jackson said at the event, “and it was so deep, in trying to find and figure out who I am, where I stand. And at the end of the day, like I did with the other albums, just putting it down, never keeping a journal. I’m sure a lot of you already know this. And I didn’t know if my fans would like it.”
