And also his songs when he was with journey as lead singer, although different than his solo songs are special. There can't be anyone to duplicate his talent. Journey is not the same, never will be without him. He wrote his medleys from the heart you can tell. You almost knew where he was in his life from the words. His voice and the music he put together with each song is not like any other artist. Its so different, with alot of thought, certainly not boring or repetitious. I never thought Steve Perry and Journey would do anything together again, so I really like this song.

This is a very subdued song lyrically, but the music that accompanies the vocals make the lyrics have a weight they certainly would not had this just been a non-musical prose poem. The tonality of the singer's voice is so accurate.

This is a great song about a happy, healthy marriage between a man and a woman. The man is saying how great his wife is, how he can see his whole world inside his her eyes, and on her finger is a band of gold, her wedding band, that shines. There is simply no greater thing than a loving bond between a man and his wife, which is his soulmate. One of the best Journey songs EVER! Steve Perry's vocals are top-notch in this song.

I can't even put into words how this song affects me each time I hear it. Steve Perry is phenomenal in the feelings, emotions, and passion he puts into this song. It's one of the best I've ever heard.

It was the song that fans took as being coded with details of their feud, and now Kim Kardashian has responded to Taylor Swift’s ‘thanK you aIMee’ from The Tortured Poets Department . The song appears on Swift’s 11th album, which was released on April 19, 2024.

The feud between the “All Too Well” singer and  The Kardashians  star was  reportedly instigated  after Kim released a snippet of a conversation on Snapchat in 2016 between Taylor and her then-husband  Kanye West  where he shared a line of his song “Famous” to the referred to “Bad Blood” musician.“

Swift’s “loml” lyrics seem to capture her deep grief over the end of her six-year relationship with Joe Alwyn , along with his ultimate legacy as the “loss of my life.” The word “loss” replaces “love” in the original acronym loml (“love of my life”).

In the lyrics, Swift alludes to feeling like her relationship was “counterfeit.” Her partner “shit-talked me under the table, talking rings and talking cradles. I wish I could un-recall how we almost had it all.” She ends the song sharing her disappointment over the person her partner ultimately was: “a coward [who] claimed he was a lion.”

Swift spoke about that when discussing her relationship and how it inspired Midnights song , “Lavender Haze.” She said, “I happened upon the phrase ‘lavender haze’ when I was watching Mad Men . I looked it up because I thought it sounded cool. And it turns out that it’s a common phrase used in the ’50s where they would describe being in love. If you’re in the ‘lavender haze,’ then that meant you were in that all-encompassing love glow. And I thought that was really beautiful.”

“I guess, theoretically, when you’re in the ‘lavender haze,’ you’ll do anything to stay there,” she continued. “And not let people bring you down off of that cloud. I think that a lot of people have to deal with this now, not just like ‘public figures,’ because we live in the era of social media, and if the world finds out if you’re in love with somebody they’re going to weigh in on it.
