First gig at O2 Brixton (as well as first time seeing Jungle live) and we were blown away by the venue as well as by the quality of the sound. To be honest, I was a bit sceptical about seeing Jungle transpose their unique style in a live setting; however, I would give their effort a solid 8.5 / 10. The show began with a kid breakdancing to one of the song's album and this really put the crowd in a great mood - something the band was able to sustain throughout most the show. Points taken off the overall score mainly due to two things:
1) The difficulty in keeping a high energy level through some of their more subdued track that necessitate the group to remain mostly static behind their instruments
2) A few hiccups here and there - starting "Drops" on the wrong key, then struggling to get it back on track as well as the challenges of staying tight through a few of the more complex numbers
Overall though, a great evening, with much dancing despite being in the Circle (seated area). Busy Earnin was the highlight - and who can hold anything against a band that finishes off their set with confetti cannons spewing gold and silver glitter all over the place?!
Will look to catching them live again for sure!

Fan-tastic!!!!
Really looked forward to this event. More excited even than when we saw Will Smith at Blackpool if that was possible (but that was because even until he came on I couldnt quite believe it was happening, I mean - Will Smith in Blackpool, nahhh).
Anyway, Jungle at The Invisible Wind factory.
I wasnt disappointed. I LOVE Jungle. They are mesmerising to watch. Sounded perfect every song. The moment they start playing their opening riffs the whole crowd are pumped. Venue was superb, unique. Perfect for this type of gig. First time we’d been but I would definitely go again.
If I could only see one band from now on though, it would be these folks. Felt very intimate, like they’re playing to you! Let me be clear, Jungle were Ay-mazing! It was a truly memorable experience. My advice: 1) see Jungle; 2) go to a gig at TIWF; 3) if possible, go see a Jungle gig at TIWF.
Jungle is a fairly new band on the scene. From their head nodding basslines to their funky rhythm, there's nothing to dislike about them. I love listening to them on my phone but watching them live is a completely different experience. The energy they produced on stage shook the crowd like a live wire. I started dancing when they came out and didn't stop until they ended. There wasn't much interaction with the crowd but that was because they were pulling out hit after hit from their amazing album. I was ik euphoria for the whole show. My expectations were met. I left a happy man and would love to see them again.
Just OK. Don't get me wrong, I love Jungle and their debut album. But their concert à la Cigale in Paris was just good enough and somehow disappointing. First we wait one hour after the opening before their dared to show on stage. Then they sounded like they were just rehearsing. The lead vocal has so much soul in his voice that I would have enjoyed to feel it in the acting of the band too. But I did not felt the vibe. To me, it was a bit too clean: no improvisation or so little, not much engagement neither. Maybe it is just me, or this is what you get when you make your audience wait too much.
Good show. Band were good and sounded excellent. However the venue was piss poor. Awful place to see a band. 2/3 of the viewing space is above the stage, which sounds great until you realise that only the people at the front can see - everyone else is blocked from view. Also it took over an hour to get into the show as the door staff and management team at Pryzm were frighteningly inefficient. I have no idea what they were going but we queued for an hour and missed the first 30 minutes. Woeful - will not be attending a gig at New Slang in Pryzm again. Awful experience
The show was amazing... So were the artists! I expected the performance to be great when I was buying the tix, but I didn't expected it to be THAT great. I had a fantastic time on the dancefloor with my friends, the crowd was SUPER nice, SUPERfancy and SUPERpolite.
For me, the greatest joy at the shows is to see musicians to enjoy themselves while performing... And how the band acted on scene was awesome. You can literally see that the guys loved EVERY chord they've made for the audience.
10/10, would totally revisit
Jungle has a pretty cool sound and is super funky but I have to admit I was very skeptical and wasn't sure if they were going to deliver live - Boy was I wrong! The energy was great, them, the band and the back up singers! Jungle is from London and are described as modern soul but they are more than that. You can hear the 70's funk inspiration - perfect for a good concert with loads of dancing. They played at a medium sized venue and thet carried themselves pretty well. I recommend a Jungle concert to anyone :)
I've never seen them in concert. Only bcus they haven't made their way to my city. I guarantee that I'm their #1 FAN in ST. LOUIS, MO!!! I really hope they make it to the midwest in 2020. I will definitely be in attendance. I shared their videos with our main Entertainment Report here in STL. He's jamming to them as I type.
Next Tour Schedule should include - St. Louis, MO - great venues - The Pageant, Delmar Hall or The Ready Room.
MIND. BLOWING. What a great performance by this band. I have been a huge fan of them and they really did not disappoint, I read many reviews of their concerts and everyone said they are good live so my expectations were pretty high. One thing is listening to them on iMusic but another is seeing them live, it was unbelievable, 10/10 flew all the way from Atlanta to Washington to see them and it was totally worth it.
Amazing sound quality (congrats to the sound guys), and incredibly tight band. Voices are top notch. Great energy. Don't remember seeing the Germans (if you excuse me the stereotypical comment) on the crowd dancing so much since a while! Short (they only have an album after all), but loads of fun! 10/10 would see again.

Jungle LIVE at WAMU Theater on September 15
New album volcano august 11 and worldwide tour dates.
Volcano, the highly anticipated new album from British songwriting and production duo Jungle, is set for release August 11 via Caiola Records / AWAL. The record follows on the heels of their critically acclaimed 2021 album Loving In Stereo, which NPR Music hailed as “a feel-good record... if an album in 2021 was a soundtrack to self-care this would be it,” while Billboard furthered, “[On Loving In Stereo] you get an album on which a chest-swelling disco sermon can share space with a hip-hop track and a beachy rock song—all different sounds, yet all still decidedly Jungle.” Fans can pre-save Volcano HERE .
In celebration of the forthcoming record, Jungle is debuting the album’s lead single “Candle Flame” featuring rapper Erick the Architect. Listen to/share the track HERE and watch/share an accompanying video HERE .
“As Jungle, we are incredibly proud of our latest release, ‘Candle Flame,’” recall band members/producers J&T. “We wanted to create a song that was both personal and relatable, exploring the highs and lows of love and relationships in a way that was both poetic and authentic. Working with Erick The Architect was an absolute pleasure and his unique perspective and talent added an extra layer of depth and richness to the track. ‘Candle Flame’ represents everything that we stand for as a band—creativity, passion and a commitment to making music that touches the hearts and minds of our fans. We can’t wait for everyone to hear it, and we hope that it brings joy and inspiration to all who listen.”
The free-spirited energy that runs right through Volcano reflects how organically it came together. This time around the duo wanted to include a wider variety of voices within the album, leading to collaborations with Erick The Architect, Bas, Roots Manuva, Channel Tres, JNR Williams and more.
Jungle has also confirmed an extensive run of worldwide tour dates in support of the forthcoming album. The duo’s lauded full-band live shows will grace some of their biggest venues to date as they’re set to play to a total of more than 190,000 people. Their North American run kicks off in Santa Barbara on September 6 and include shows at New York’s Forest Hills Stadium, Los Angeles’ The Forum, DC’s The Anthem, Philadelphia’s Franklin Music Hall, Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom and more. The group is also slated to headline London’s All Points East Festival on August 26. See below for the full tour routing.
Fans who sign up to the band’s mailing list by 12A.M. on Wednesday, March 29 will receive access to a ticket pre-sale, which opens at 10 A.M. local time on Thursday, March 30. The pre-sale will be live until 10 P.M. local time that day while general on-sale begins at 10 A.M. local time on Friday, March 31.
Jungle was founded by J&T, who met at the age of 10 in West London’s Shepherd’s Bush. They began making music together at the beginning of 2013, choosing to put the aesthetic emphasis on the music’s surrounding artwork/videos rather than on their own identities.
Jungle’s 2014 self-titled debut album was a Mercury Prize nominee and is now Gold-certified, whereas their 2018 follow-up, For Ever, reached #10 on the UK Albums Chart. Their 2021 album, Loving In Stereo, achieved their highest domestic chart position to date, debuting at #1 on Billboard’s Current Electronic Albums chart while also peaking at #3 on Independent Albums, #4 on Current Rock Albums and #6 on Current Alternative Albums charts. Their three records have since amassed over a million equivalent album sales and a billion streams worldwide. They’ve performed on five continents, headlining venues both stateside and abroad while performing at major music festivals such as Glastonbury, Coachella, Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza. Last year, the duo embarked on a select run of European dates supporting Billie Eilish on her “Happier Than Ever” tour.

2024 Masters schedule: TV times, channel, streaming, dates and more
The 2024 Masters kicks off April 11 at Augusta National Golf Club.
Patrick Smith/Getty Images
The 2024 Masters is finally here. The best men’s golfers from the PGA Tour and LIV Golf are ready to kick of a new major season this week at Augusta National Golf Club . Here’s everything you need to know about the 2024 Masters schedule, including online streaming details, TV times and more.
How to watch the 2024 Masters
This year’s Masters will once again be a tournament unlike any other. While the PGA Tour and PIF have called a truce, they haven’t yet finalized an agreement. So once again the stars of the PGA Tour and LIV Golf will face off against each other for the first time of the year at Augusta National.
Augusta National’s trees were coming for her. A patron helped her escape
Last year during his winning campaign at Augusta, Jon Rahm was one of the leading figures on Tour. Since then, he left to join LIV, so the Masters will be the first time in 2024 many fans get to see Rahm in action.
On the PGA Tour side, World No. 2 Rory McIlroy will once again attempt to capture his elusive first Masters win. If he does, he’ll finally complete the career grand slam.
But he’ll have stiff competition in the form of World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler . Scheffler, the 2022 Masters champion, is as hot as a player can be heading into the year’s first major. He’s straightened out his putting and put together big wins at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and Players Championship.
The TV coverage for the 2024 Masters will be shared between ESPN and CBS, with ESPN airing the first two rounds on Thursday and Friday, and CBS taking the third and final rounds on the weekend.
Extensive streaming coverage of the 2024 Masters will be available online via ESPN+ , Paramount+, Masters.com, the Masters app and the CBS Sports App. You can watch simulcasts and featured group coverage during all four rounds. Masters.com and the Masters App will also feature “scoring, interactive player tracking, video highlights and features, in-depth tournament news coverage, ‘Every Shot, Every Hole’ and ‘My Group,’ which serves as a personalized featured group. IBM Watson will provide descriptive text and audio AI commentary for all 20,000+ ‘Every Shot, Every Hole’ videos.”

90s rock legends announce new farewell tour dates after frontman’s ‘serious’ injury
Share this with
A globally renowned rock group who dominated the charts in the 1990s have announced fresh dates for their farewell tour, after they were forced to postpone shows .
Aerosmith announced their Peace Out tour would be their last after over 50 years in music in May 2023, with gigs set to start last September.
The band, who have sold over 150 million records worldwide and are the best-selling American hard rock group of all time, have a back catalogue boasting songs including Walk this Way, Love in an Elevator, Dream On and Young Lust.
However, they were then forced to postpone their 2023 dates after their frontman Steven Tyler sustained a ‘serious’ injury – but now they will resume shows this September instead.
The 76-year-old damaged his vocal cords, which led to ‘bleeding’, just days into their world tour.
Aerosmith initially pushed back six gigs as Tyler revealed he was ‘heartbroken’ to have been given ‘strict doctor’s orders not to sing for the next 30 days’.
However, the I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing stars later had to make the decision to suspend all of their show dates after it became apparent Tyler had fractured his larynx.
‘To our fans: Unfortunately, Steven’s vocal injury is more serious than initially thought. His doctor has confirmed that in addition to the damage to his vocal cords, he fractured his larynx which requires ongoing care,’ a statement Aerosmith released at the time on Instagram read.
‘He is receiving the best medical treatment available to ensure his recovery is swift, but given the nature of a fracture, he is being told patience is essential.
‘As a result, all the currently scheduled PEACE OUT shows must be postponed to sometime in 2024, with new dates to be announced as soon as we know more.’
Tyler added in a separate message: ‘I am heartbroken to not be out there with Aerosmith, my brothers and the incredible Black Crowes, rocking with the best fans in the world. I promise we will be back as soon as we can!’
Now, those dates have been confirmed as kicking off again on September 20 in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and travelling extensively throughout the United Sates and Canada until February 26, when they play Buffalo, New York.
‘We’re thrilled to announce new dates for our 2024 PEACE OUT Tour with special guests @theblackcrowes!’, Aerosmith announced on X, adding: ‘All previously purchased tickets will be honoured for the rescheduled shows – you’ll receive more info via email.

Aerosmith was formed in late 1970 and comprises of Tyler, lead guitarist Joe Perry, bass player Tom Hamilton, drummer Joey Kramer and guitar player Brad Whitford.
Kramer, however, is not participating in the world tour with the band announcing he is ‘focus[ing] his full attention on his family and health’.
Touring member Buck Johnson will be participating as well.
In February, a lawsuit filed against singer Tyler by a woman accusing him of sexually assaulting her twice in one day when she was 17 was dismissed.
US District Judge Lewis Kaplan stated that former child model Jeanne Bellino had waited too long to sue the 75-year-old rock star, as reported by Reuters.
The judge said Bellino did not qualify for a two-year window to pursue claims that would otherwise extend beyond statutes of limitations, because she did not allege that Tyler’s conduct posed a ‘serious risk of physical injury’.
Rocker Tyler had previously ‘vehemently’ denied her allegations.
Tyler has also defended against a lawsuit in Los Angeles, where another woman, Julia Misley, claimed he sexually assaulted her in 1973 when she was 16 and he was 25.
He has denied the claims and insisted that Julia Misley, formerly known as Julia Holcomb, consented to their relationship.

Missy Elliott to Embark on First Headlining Tour Ever, With Busta Rhymes, Ciara and Timbaland as Support

Missy Elliott , whose career has provided the very definition of “leave ’em wanting more,” has long resisted touring, but that’s changing in 2024. Along with some high-profile support acts, the hip-hop icon will embark on a tour of arenas in 24 cities this year — shockingly, the first time she’s toured as a headliner in her entire career, which began with a bang in the 1990s.
Supporting her along the way will be a trio of figures that are also instantly recognizable to anyone who knows Elliott’s career: Busta Rhymes , Ciara and Timbaland .
Popular on Variety
The tour — dubbed “Out of This World: The Missy Elliott Experience Tour” — begins July 4 in Vancouver and wraps up Aug. 22 in Rosemont, Illinois. Key stops along the way include shows July 11 at L.A,’s Crypto Arena, Aug. 9 at Newark, NJ’s Prudential Center and Aug. 12 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. The outing will also take her to cities including Boston, Detroit, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Las Vegas, Oakland, Seattle, Austin, Houston, Tampa, Baltimore, Montreal and Toronto.
“This is an incredible time in my life as I am experiencing so many milestone ‘firsts,'” Elliott said in a statement. “Being the FIRST female hip-hop artist to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and now going out on my FIRST headline tour,. Fans have been asking me to tour forever but I wanted to wait until I felt the time was right because I knew if I was ever going to do it, I had to do it big, and I had to do it with family!”
The tour is being produced by Live Nation in association with Scott-Young, CEO of Monami Entertainment.
In recent years, Elliott has performed at some isolated festival dates, where she has bowled crowds over, along with a gig last year at Southern California’s Yamavaa Casino, which Variety reviewed , openly wondering why this show was not on the road. (The show was also ranked by Variety as one of the best concerts of the year at the end of 2023.)
Says Scott-Young, “I mean, look, she’s always been ahead of her time and as much as we’ve heard, ‘Well, so why did you wait so long?,’ she was just like, ‘It wasn’t that I was waiting — it’s just the timing is now.’ And Missy is very absolute about knowing exactly when she feels it is time to do something. So yeah, when we did the Yamavaa Casino, we all had the same reaction you did. Like, oh my God, this is fantastic, and we should be taking this around the country, around the world.”
The full lineup was a key part of why Elliott was willing to do this now, says the manager-producer.
“For Missy it was very important that when she embarked on this journey, she did it with what she’s calling her family,” Scott-Young says. “Busta and Missy have been twins for so long; people have compared them in terms of their unique ability to really think outside of the box, in terms of their personas, in terms of their music. So people have always wanted to see them do something together. And for me, that’s kind of a personal milestone, because I’ve managed them both for many years, and now still to this day am intricately involved with both of their careers and their lives. So to see them together on that stage is going to be a personal moment for me. And of course, Ciara has worked with her and they’ve become friends, and she looks to Missy as a mentor. She has such a dynamic stage show herself and is a pop star in her own right. And of course, Timbaland, who I call her partner in rhyme; those two have a long history.
“So from beginning to end, I will say this, it will be a seamless experience,” Scott-Young says, while declining to say exactly what format individual or collective sets might take. “I think everyone is aware they all have songs that they’ve collaborated on together. So of course we want the show to feel like a family affair.”
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Missy Elliott (@missymisdemeanorelliott)
Scott-Young says she’s met with disbelief when she reminds industry supporters that there has never been a proper Elliott tour, despite her rise to fame in the ’90s, even as she participated in group road shows like Lilith Fair back in the day.
“Everybody that I tell this is her first headline, they go, ‘Oh, no, no, no.’ Then they’re like, ‘Oh crap, you’re right.’ Because her presence is so powerful and we felt her throughout music for the last three decades. But the idea that she has never done great stages across the country is a little mind-boggling when you think of that, because she’s always felt so omnipresent.”
Is that just-as-elusive-a-thing — a full new album, which would be her first since 2005, if it were to come to be — also possible? “I mean, I would always say with Missy, you can never say never,” Scott-Young says. “And you can also never predict. I think we all thought this moment would never come, that we would see her headlining a tour, and here we are. So I would never say no. That’s all I will say about Missy Elliott.”
Scott-Young already had a big year ahead with a tour that will bring together XSCAPE and SWV along with Mya, Total and 702. “2024 is the year of intention for me. Everything that I’ve set my mind to and become determined to see come to life is coming to fruition. To put up these two tours within weeks of each other is unprecedented week and they were both very, very important to me personally for different reasons.”
The XSCAPE/SWV/et al. concept “came about as a result of the show that I did on Bravo, ‘The Queens of R&B,’ where the goal was to take the ladies out on a tour,” before a contretemps got in the way of that. Then, “we were able to come back together and realize that, collectively, they were stronger, leaning into just the women empowerment and supporting each other. These ladies put their differences aside to give the fans what they want. … This show is gonna be a women’s anthem from start to finish. It’s just a symbol of the resilience of women overcoming adversity, coming up on the other side, triumphant and celebrating their talents and gifts and sharing it with the world.”
As for Elliott and company, “Don’t take the tour itself for granted, the manager is urging: “All I’ll say is this: we never know when this will happen again,” Scott-Young says. “So this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I know what we’re getting ready to deliver on that stage.”

As aforementioned, Glass Animals recently shared details of their upcoming album and dropped the lead single from the project in the form of ‘Creatures In Heaven’ .
Speaking about its existential themes, frontman Dave Bayley said: “It’s about a moment in time, be it a split second or a year or whatever, having the capacity to be enormously formative and life-changing.
“Even if it is over. Or if it doesn’t go as planned. Or if it dies too soon. It is still fucking beautiful. The love and care and the feeling in that moment lives forever. It never really dies. If that’s how you choose to see it.”
The announcement follows the news last week that the band will play two shows later this year – in Wild West, California on April 11 and Mexico City on April 15 .
Glass Animals’ last new music was 2020’s ‘Dreamland’, a record which NME gave four stars : “‘Dreamland’ is stuffed with effervescent nuggets of pop gold. It’s a sun-drenched record of summer tunes that will sound even better when heard at festivals with a tinnie in hand. Yet look behind glittering shells of these tunes and you’ll find hugely personal stories, told with new strength and resilience.”
NME also spoke with Glass Animals in 2022, where they shared their experiences about working with Florence Welch : “I learned so much from [Florence]. We did a bunch of sessions for the new album, and I was blown away. I was like, ‘Woah, how do I compete with this real force of nature when it comes to songwriting?’
He continued: “I had to hold my own and I think we made a really wicked album. She’s a brilliant songwriter. Shout out to Florence: thank you for letting me work on your record, I feel really lucky.”

Further Dates Set for the 2024/2025 UK and Ireland tour of CHICAGO
The tour will open at Milton Keynes Theatre on 12 October 2024.
Further dates have been announced for the 2024/2025 UK and Ireland tour of the multi award-winning musical CHICAGO. The tour will open at Milton Keynes Theatre on 12 October 2024. Casting to be announced soon.
Set amidst the razzle-dazzle decadence of the 1920s, CHICAGO is the story of Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her. Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiring Chicago’s slickest criminal lawyer to transform her malicious crime into a barrage of sensational headlines, the likes of which might just as easily be ripped from today's tabloids.
Created by the musical theatre talents of John Kander , Fred Ebb and legendary choreographer Bob Fosse , CHICAGO’s sexy, sassy score includes the show-stopping songs “Razzle Dazzle”, “Cell Block Tango”, and “All That Jazz”. Winner of six Tony Awards, two Olivier Awards and a Grammy, CHICAGO is the longest running American musical in Broadway and West End history.
Since it opened in New York in 1996, CHICAGO has played in 38 countries worldwide, and been performed in English, Dutch, German, Swedish, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Italian, French, Danish, Japanese and Korean. Worldwide it has been seen by an estimated 34 million people, grossed over $1.7 billion has played over 33,500 performances.
CHICAGO, which is based on the play by Maurine Dallas Watkins , has a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse , music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb . The 1996 Broadway revival of CHICAGO was choreographed by Ann Reinking in the style of Bob Fosse , directed by Walter Bobbie , and produced by Barry and Fran Weissler .
