Michael Buble announces two Dublin concerts at 3Arena
Canadian singer Michael Buble will play two fully seated shows at Dublin's 3Arena next May
- 09:46, 18 OCT 2022
Singer Michael Buble has announced two shows at Dublin's 3Arena to take place next summer.
The Canadian performer will play two fully seated concerts at the venue on May 13 and 14 2023. Tickets for the shows will go on sale this Friday at 9am via Ticketmaster.
Michael will be performing his most-loved songs and greatest hits alongside singles from his number-one album Higher, which was released earlier this year. The Grammy award winner promises that how UK and Ireland dates will be a "spectacle".

He said: "I’m so excited for people to experience it. A lot of my fans have been part of my journey for the past 20 years, so to celebrate this milestone with everyone together is going to be extra special.
"I just want to connect to them, take them away, spread some goodness. That’s it!"
Higher, Michael's latest album, was released in April of this year and featured collaborations with the likes of Willie Nealson. The album has 13 tracks and was met with huge critical appraisal upon its release.
Variety said of the album: "On Higher, Buble gets to show the full breadth of his talent, while staying true to idols, influences, and, most importantly himself." Meanwhile, The New York Times praised the musician's ability to rope "any and all material into the realm of genuine romance".
The 47-year-old singer last performed for Dublin audiences in 2019 and received stellar reviews. His last concerts here sold out quickly and his 2023 Dublin dates are expected to sell just as fast.

Michael Bublé
Global superstar Michael Bublé has announced he will bring the Higher 2023 Tour to Dublin for two fully-seated shows at 3Arena on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th May.
Michael Bublé, the multi-Grammy, multi-Juno award winning artist was a man on a mission when he signed his record deal with Reprise Records almost two decades ago and with the imminent release of his new studio album in 2022, he continues his journey but with even more passion.
First, he made a vow to himself to not only keep the flames of the great classics of the American Songbook alive and well – to not only breathe new life into them – but to bring his singular style, vocal power and his love to these timeless tunes.
Secondly, he was going to write number one pop hits that would become classics unto themselves.
Third and most crucial for him was to bring all this music together in concert and take his audiences on a special journey – to give them an evening they would never forget.
Every night, he would sing his heart out, serenade them with beautiful love songs, make them laugh, cry, dance and enthrall sold out crowds in arenas and stadiums in countries around the world. He wanted his shows to be legendary. Clearly, he has succeeded on all these fronts, even beyond his own wildest dreams.
The multi-platinum singer/ songwriter/producer/humanitarian is officially a global phenomenon and shows no signs of slowing down as fans will hear this year with his new album and tour. For more visit www.michaelbublé.com

Michael Bublé is in town! Here's all you need to know about his Dublin gigs
The nicest guy in music is gracing our shores this weekend for what's set to be a jam-packed weekend in Dublin.
Michael Bublé is bringing The Higher 2023 Tour to the 3Arena on Saturday 13 May and Sunday 14 May where he will perform to a fully seated audience.
While tickets for the gigs are almost gone, you can still snap up the remaining few here if the thought of FOMO once the videos start popping up on social media is too much for you.
If you're lucky enough to already have your tickets sorted, here's everything you need to know about Michael's Dublin shows...
What you need to know
Doors for the gig open at 6.30pm and fans have been advised that there will be no support act and no intermission on either night, with the star expected to take to the stage at 8pm.
As this is a fully seated event, ticket holders have been reminded to double check the date on their tickets and the seating number.
It's also good to be aware that anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
How do I get there?
The 3Arena is situated right in the city, at Dublin's docklands. If you're travelling by public transport (which is highly advised) your best bet is to hop on the red line Luas heading towards the 3Arena.
There will be extra trams on to facilitate all the excited fans so this is the most popular way to get there!
If you fancy a bus instead, the 151 Dublin Bus will leave you on Castleforbes Road, just a two-minute walk to the venue.
If you are driving, there is limited car parking available in The Point Village car park, but this car park is not run by 3Arena and spaces are limited.
The Setlist
While anything can happen at a concert in Dublin and we hope he'll whip out a random tune while he has an Irish flag draped over his shoulders, here's what the set list for this tour has been so far and what we can expect in some variation this weekend.
Feeling Good
Haven’t Met You Yet
Such a Night
When You're Smiling (The Whole World Smiles With You)
To Love Somebody
I'll Never Not Love You
(If You're Looking for) Trouble / All Shook Up / Can't Help Falling In Love With You
You're the First, the Last, My Everything
You Might Also Like
It's a Beautiful Day
Cry Me a River
How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You)
Always on My Mind
And that's not all...
Ahead of taking to the stage, the five-time Grammy award winner will join Ryan Tubridy on the presenter's third last Late Late Show on Friday night.
The pair have been good friends for many years, with Tubridy previously telling listeners on his RTÉ Radio 1 morning programme that Bublé was 'the nicest person he has had on the show.'
Tune in to see his first Irish appearance of the weekend on RTE1 at 9.35pm and have a blast if you're off to see him over the weekend!

One fan recorded Matty reacting to her name when he was signing the record for her.
The singer asked her: "What's your name?"
She replied: "Dearbhla."
The London native looked very confused and made a face.

"Dearbhla means "daughter of the poet" or "daughter of Ireland"."
Arlene said: "I thought the same - that was unnecessarily rude."

You’d be forgiven for thinking that Christmas is Michael Bublé’s season. After all, the jazz singer’s holiday album, Christmas, held pole position on the Billboard 200 for five weeks when it was released in 2011 and has continued to bless our merry ears every year since.
However, Michael Bublé is for all year round, not just for Christmas.
The Haven't Met You Yet singer is currently on his seventh concert tour for his new album Higher. The tour kicked off on 8th August this year in Duluth, Georgia, and is set to come to the UK and Ireland in spring next year.
Speaking about the tour, Bublé said: "I can’t wait to be back in arenas across the UK – it’s going to be a true arena spectacle! I’m so excited for people to experience it. A lot of my fans have been part of my journey for the past 20 years, so to celebrate this milestone with everyone together is going to be extra special. I just want to connect to them, take them away, spread some goodness. That’s it!"
Higher is the 11th studio album by Bublé and features the hit single I'll Never Not Love You, as well as covers of well-known tunes — because if there’s one thing The Bublé is fantastic at doing, it’s putting his stamp on a song. For example, like Paul McCartney's ballad My Valentine, which is produced by McCartney himself, Sam Cooke's Bring It On Home to Me, and a duet with Willie Nelson on the country singer’s song Crazy.

Bublé’s new release is his first studio album in three years, and it's been a success so far. Higher debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart, making it the Come Fly with Me singer’s fifth album to do so.
By now, though, the artist is no stranger to a chart-topping hit. Michael Bublé has sold over 75 million records worldwide, won four Grammy Awards and multiple Juno Awards, too.
