The Strictly Come Dancing Live tour 2023 promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

The Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour 2023 is coming to a town near you, and this year host Janette Manrara has promised the show will be bigger than ever before. 

As Strictly Come Dancing 2022 comes to a close in December, fans of the show know that the live tour traditionally follows the end of the series and will showcase all the breathtaking choreography, stunning costumes and fantastic live music that we see in BBC One’s long-running show. 

The 2023 tour will be directed once again by the A-MAZ-ING Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood and will feature many of the celebrities and professional dancers from the current series, together with the Strictly live band.

Audiences around the UK can experience everything they love about the TV show live on stage, getting the chance to not only watch the stars in action as they perform roof-raising routines, but also audiences will once again have the power to decide who wins the Glitterball Trophy at the end of each show.

Strictly Come Dancing Live tour 2023 dates

Opening at the Utilita Arena Birmingham on Friday, January 20, the live show will then waltz around the UK to some of the biggest entertainment venues including Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena, Leeds’ First Direct Arena, the AO Arena in Manchester, Sheffield’s Utilita Arena, Newcastle’s Utilita Arena, London’s O2 Arena and the SSE Arena in Belfast, before culminating at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on Sunday, February 12.

Each performance of the tour will also host a British Sign Language interpreter, who will be displayed on two very large screens either side of the stage so that attendees can book tickets and sit almost anywhere in the arena to enjoy the experience with family and friends.

Strictly Come Dancing Live tour 2023: which celebrities are taking part?

As always the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour 2023 will see some of the biggest names from Strictly Come Dancing 2022 return to the dance floor... and the first three celebrities have already been announced. 

Actor Will Mellor ( Broadchurch , Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps ) will be taking part, along with Paralympic swimming champion and broadcaster Ellie Simmonds and Kiss FM radio host, TV presenter and DJ Tyler West. 

Speaking about the upcoming tour, Will Mellor said: " Strictly has been one of the most memorable and emotional journeys I’ve ever been on! Stepping out of my comfort zone and being a part of this massive show is something I’ll never forget. I can’t wait to put on my dancing shoes and go around the country to perform on huge stages in front of thousands of people who have watched and supported us. Bring on the tour!!”

Ellie Simmonds added: “ Strictly was such an incredible life-changing and emotional experience for me — it gave me a huge confidence boost and the feeling that anything is possible! So to be able to continue my journey on the tour next year is going to be amazing. I can't wait!"

Tyler West, whose time on the TV series came to an end in the Blackpool special said: “I never realized how much dance would change my life but I can’t express how much I’ve loved it and fully embraced this opportunity to learn to dance with the best dance partner anyone could ask for in Dianne! I am so happy my Strictly journey isn't over quite yet and I can’t wait to relive some of our favorite dances and live like a pop star on tour performing for audiences each night! I am buzzing to get on the road with the gang.”

Also joining the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour 2023 are Molly Rainford and Hamza Yassin.

Wildlife cameraman Hamza, who is currently one of the Strictly favourites to win the show, said of the tour: “ Strictly has changed my life in ways I never imagined, so to be doing the tour on top of it all is a dream come true.

“I’ve heard the tour audiences are unparalleled, so I’ll be relishing the atmosphere every night, and I’m so excited to share that experience with my fellow dancers — not to mention the judges.”

Actress, singer and TV presenter Molly also commented: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining the Strictly Live Tour . Performing for the huge arena crowds across the UK is going to be an incredible experience.

“I’m really looking forward to continuing my amazing Strictly journey and getting out on the road to meet all the fans.”

The lovely Janette Manrara will be returning to her hosting duties on the new arena tour. The presenter has become a huge favorite with fans over the years having gone from being a professional dancer on the show for many years before turning her hand to presenting the BBC Two spin-off show, Strictly: It Takes Two .

The Strictly Live Tour is back and is arriving in London with a whole range of celebrities. Though the dates are fast approaching, there's still tickets left for this special arena show.

The Strictly Come Dancing tour is popular with fans of the BBC dance show each year and will feature several members of the 2022 cast, including winners Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystał. It arrives in London in February but begins touring the UK later this month.

We've rounded up everything you need to know before it commences touring - with a low amount of tickets left. Will you be attending Strictly Come Dancing: The Live Tour?

What is the show about?

As well as having the Strictly judges there, audiences are invited to 'whip out your 10 paddles' as the stars and their partners perform each night to be crowned champion of the show. The couples will each perform their most dazzling routines from the series as well as incredible group performances and awe-inspiring dances from the pros. It'll be just like watching an episode of Strictly, only bigger, better and even more sparkly.

When does it come to London?

Strictly Come Dancing: The Live Tour arrives in London at The O2 Arena in February. Performances run from Friday 3 to Sunday 5 .

On Friday, the show will take place at 7:30pm. On the Saturday, there will be two performances; 2:30pm and 7:30pm and on Sunday at 1:30pm and 6:30pm.

The Live Tour begins on January 20 in Birmingham and will also visit Nottingham, Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, Newcastle, Belfast and Glasgow.

Who is taking part?

Alongside winners Hamza and Jowita, finalists Fleur East and Vito Coppola, Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu will also perform. Fellow runner-up Helen Skelton will also be dancing but with Kai Widdrington rather than Gorka Marquez.

Ellie Simmonds will also be dancing with Nikita Kuzmin, Will Mellor with Nancy Xu and Tyler West with Dianne Buswell. Other professional dancers set to perform in the tour shows are Amy Dowden, Robbie Kmeton, Jake Leigh, Luba Mushtuk and Michelle Tsiakkas.

Hamza said of the tour: "Strictly has changed my life in ways I never imagined, so to be doing the tour on top of it all is a dream come true! I’ve heard the tour audiences are unparalleled, so I’ll be relishing the atmosphere every night, and I’m so excited to share that experience with my fellow dancers – not to mention the judges."

And Helen also said: "Strictly has been the adventure of a lifetime and I’m so happy that it will continue next year on the live tour. I’m really looking forward to seeing the fans across the country and performing my favourite dances from the series. I can’t wait!"

As well as the audiences, judges from the show will be on hand to score them. Anton DuBeke will join Shirley Ballas and Craig Revel Horwood. Plus, former pro from the show, Janette Manrara will host the 31-date tour.

Strictly Come Dancing confirms incredible line-up for 2024 live tour

The tour will kick off in january and february 2024 .

The competition is heating up on Strictly Come Dancing , as the remaining contestants battle it out for the coveted Glitterball Trophy. And while the series will conclude with a grand finale on December 16, the show doesn't end there.

Set to commence in January 2024, the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour will be sashaying its way through Birmingham, Sheffield, Glasgow, Liverpool and more, before wrapping at the O2 Arena London on 11 February. 

In a new development, the star-studded line-up for the tour has officially been confirmed, and it sounds incredible! Taking to Instagram, the show's account posted: BREAKING NEWS! We're so excited to announce the full line-up for the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour!

The caption also explained that the newly announced stars will be joined by Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola , Angela Rippon and Kai Widdrington, and Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin.

A slightly different format to the hit BBC show, the Live Tour comes with a twist. After watching the dazzling choreography, alongside live music from the Strictly tour band and singers, fans are then invited to become the judges themselves.

Fans will be delighted to hear that Strictly favourite and 2018 TV show winner Stacey Dooley is returning to host the tour for the first time.  Tickets for this dancing delight go on sale at 9.00am on 20 September.

Stacey will be joined on stage by a selection of celebrities and professional dancers from the much awaited 17 th series of the award-winning BBC One show.  Judging and casting announcements will be made over the coming months.

Speaking about the upcoming tour, Stacey Dooley said: "I’m so excited to be joining the Strictly gang again and can’t wait to experience it from a different perspective! Audiences are not only invited to watch the spectacular stars as they perform roof-raising routines, but are also granted the power to decide who wins the coveted Glitterball Trophy at the end of each show. It’s time to announce the first three celebrities who will be joining 2024’s highly anticipated Strictly Come Dancing Live UK Tour: former Coronation Street actress Ellie Leach; legendary award-winning broadcaster Angela Rippon ; and Bad Education and Everybody’s Talking About Jamie actor and singer Layton Williams . All three celebs, part of the current series of the BBC’s hit Saturday and Sunday night show, will don their dancing shoes in January and take to the road dazzling arena audiences up and down the country.

They will be joined by Strictly legends Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, and Craig Revel Horwood who are returning to their judging seats and tour host, It Takes Two ’s Janette Manrara. Further casting announcements will be made soon.

Speaking about the upcoming tour, Ellie Leach said: “I said before that appearing on Strictly was a dream come true and now, I will get to be on the tour as well! I can’t wait for January to experience it all over again – it’s going to be a blast!”.

The 2024 tour opens at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on 19 January, then the glitz, the glamour and the sequins - together with the all-important celebrity contestants and their professional dancer partners - will travel to some of the UK’s biggest entertainment venues leaving a trail of glitter in their wake: Utilita Arena Sheffield, Utilita Arena Newcastle, OVO Hydro Glasgow, M&S Bank Arena Liverpool, First Direct Arena Leeds, AO Arena Manchester, Motorpoint Arena Nottingham and finally The O2 in London, culminating on 11 February.

Strictly's Live Tour celebrates all the joy of the TV series, showcasing the amazing choreography and fantastic live music that Strictly is synonymous with – providing audiences of all ages up and down the country the opportunity to experience everything they love about the TV show live on stage in their hometown or city.

Not only are the arena audiences treated to the spectacular roof-raising routines, but they are also granted the power to decide who wins the coveted Glitterball Trophy at the end of each show. The tour judges will of course provide their invaluable wisdom, advice and scores at each performance - we couldn’t stop them if we tried - but the ultimate power lies with the audience. A text for their favourite couple is all it takes; their votes will decide who wins!

As with the 2023 tour, each performance will host a British Sign Language interpreter, who will be displayed on two very large screens on either side of the stage so that audiences can book tickets and sit almost anywhere in the arena to enjoy the experience with family and friends.
