Make sure you're prepared for the ride before you leave your hotel. Most companies require participants to wear long pants and closed-toe shoes (sturdy boots are even better). They also recommend wearing sunscreen and sunglasses and bringing a small bag – like a fanny pack – for necessities and a camera. Helmets and safety gear will be provided by the company. Children are generally allowed to join, but each tour operator has its own age and height restrictions.

Jean: American Adventure Tours – Hidden Valley Primm Adventure

During this tour, travelers will mount ATVs to explore Hidden Valley and ride through the McCullough Mountains. The tour will be tailored to both the group's preferences as well as the riders' experience levels. Anticipate riding for about two hours; the entire experience lasts about four to five hours. Round-trip transportation from Las Vegas is available, but you can also drive yourself to the company's staging area in Jean (about 40 miles south).

Tourgoers rave about the experience, describing the ATV ride as exhilarating and the tour as informative.

Trips depart at 9 a.m. daily and tickets start at $229 per person. Fees include round-trip transportation from your Las Vegas accommodations, lunch, safety gear and use of the ATVs. Note: To drive an ATV, participants must be at least 16 years old. Travelers also have the option to take the tour on RZRs for an added fee.

Hotel Pickup: SunBuggy Fun Rentals – Valley of Fire Tour

As the name implies, this Valley of Fire Tour from SunBuggy Rentals takes visitors through Valley of Fire State Park on ATVs (or dune buggies or UTVs). You'll ride for two to three hours through the park's striking sandstone terrain along the Logandale Trails System, keeping your eyes peeled for local wildlife like bighorn sheep. There will be plenty of stops along the way to snap photos. Travelers say the trip has just the right amount of adrenaline and the guides are friendly. Transportation to and from Vegas is provided, so allot about eight hours for the whole experience.

Fees for ATVs start at $399 per person. Hotel pickups begin around 7:30 a.m. Selecting a UTV or desert racer will have different costs. SunBuggy Fun Rentals offers many other off-road tours on its buggies.

Hotel Pickup: Las Vegas Elite Offroad – Las Vegas Off-Road Guided Adventure

Travelers regularly describe this tour as "excellent" and "a blast" thanks to both the competent guides and exciting ride. During the two-hour outing, you'll drive Can-Am Maverick X3s through the varied terrain of the Nevada desert. Guides will help you navigate, but you will get to choose whether you want to take your time to enjoy the scenery or if you want to zip through the desert. Vehicles can accommodate up to four passengers. There will be a stop halfway through so you can switch drivers, but keep in mind drivers must be at least 18 years of age. Trips depart at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. daily.

Tickets start at $349 for two-seater vehicles and participants who want to ride along with a guide (no driving) will pay around $110. Fees include water, use of vehicles, photos and helmets. Tour-takers have the option of taking a complimentary shuttle to the site, which sits 15 minutes from the Strip, or they can drive themselves.

Any restrictions to participate?

• Age : Must be at least 18 years old to drive, or 16 years old with a valid driver’s license. To ride in the dune buggies all passengers must be at least 4 years old. 
• Health limitations: Not for pregnant women.
• Physical limitations : Not recommended for those with neck or back injuries.

Who can you accommodate for?

• Children : Children must be at least 4 years old to ride as a passenger in the dune buggy. All passengers, including children, must wear a full face off road helmet during the adventure. If your child uses a booster seat in your car, feel free to bring it with you to use in the buggy. 
• Pets : Pets are not allowed.
• Individuals with disabilities : Buggies are handicap accessible with hand driving for participants who are able to get in and out of the vehicle on their own or with the assistance of a friend. The experience provider cannot assist participants with entering or exiting of the vehicle.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

• Duration : 2 to 3 hours depending on how long you choose to enjoy the scenery at the various stops along the trail (allow for 8 hours door to door if using the complimentary hotel shuttle service).
• Round trip transportation from your resort 
• All equipment, fuel, park entrance fee, and water
• Lunch - you will stop at a sandwich shop on the way to the Valley of Fire
• Who will be present : Your guide and up to 7 other buggies or ATVs with participants. 
• Spectators : No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a reservation.
• Photo/ video : Personal photos are welcome.
• Specific rules to follow: No drugs or alcohol are permitted.

How to prepare?

• Weather dependency : The experience runs rain or shine. In the case of rain, jackets will be provided.
• Arrival : Be prepared for pickup at your hotel 10-20 minutes prior to the scheduled shuttle pickup time. If you are not using the shuttle service, please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start time.
• Parking : It is recommended to book the complimentary shuttle service from your resort. If you decide to drive to the facility at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, parking is available on site. 
• What to wear: Comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty. Long sleeve shirts and pants are highly recommended. Sneakers or closed toed shoes are required. Sweatpants are recommended as the elastic at the ankles helps keep the sand out. 
• Valid photo ID or driver’s license
• $300 cash or credit card deposit required for all reservations
• Gratuity: Gratuity is customary and greatly appreciated if you enjoy your experience. $5-$10 per group is recommended for the shuttle driver and $10-$20 per buggy for your desert guide. 
• Restrooms : Restrooms are available at the check-in facility.

Trekkies will recognize the landscape as reminiscent of early Star Trek sets, offering a chance to step into the world of Kirk and Spock.

Respecting the delicate ecosystem, we emphasize responsible riding, observing posted speed limits and no-access zones. For photography enthusiasts, the Valley of Fire is a paradise. We offer 2 or 4 seat buggies, ATVs, or UTVs, and if you prefer to relax, you can ride as a passenger in a guide vehicle.

This tour takes you through the Logandale trail system, showcasing the most picturesque parts of the Valley of Fire. Our custom-made buggies are easy to drive, ensuring a comfortable journey through this natural wonder. We limit the tours to one per day, so there's no rush; you can truly savor the experience. The tour's duration varies from 2 to 3 hours, depending on your preference for enjoying the scenic stops along the trail. Expect a full-day adventure, allowing approximately 8 hours from resort pickup to resort drop-off.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.

Opened in 1935, Moscow’s underground system, now 190 miles (305 km) long with 185 stations, is today one the largest and most heavily used rapid transit systems in the world. On this Moscow metro tour, discover the impressive architecture of Moscow’s underground stations and learn how they reflect the Soviet era.

Getting around by metro, your local guide will take you through parts of Moscow’s infamous history. Stop at stations built during the time of the USSR (Soviet Union) that are praised as one of the most extravagant architectural projects from Stalin’s time. After World War 2, he was keen on establishing Stalinist architecture to represent his rising regime and a recognized empire. Learn how when his successor started the de-Stalinization of the former Soviet Union in 1953, the extravagancy of the architecture was toned down.
