Receipts and Itineraries

JetBlue is unable to reproduce or reprint boarding passes for past-flown flights. We recommend you save your passes or flight itineraries in case you need to reference them. Records of flight itineraries are only stored for 12 months and we will need your confirmation code to locate it in our archive. If you booked through an agency or other airline, you'll need to contact them for assistance with receipts.

If you need a receipt for a past or future flight booked directly with JetBlue, please access your original JetBlue confirmation email and reference the Payment Details.

• If you no longer have your emailed itinerary, or for purchases made after your initial booking (bag fees, Even More Space® seats, priority security, etc.) you may submit a request online from our  request receipt page .

We’re not able to send receipts for:

• Itineraries that include hotels, car rentals, etc. (bulk fares).
• Reservations in which travel was completed over 13 months ago.
• Reservations on other airlines, including Interline and Codeshare flights.
• Reservations made through a travel agency including online travel agencies like Orbitz, Travelocity, etc.
• Inflight purchases.

For exchanged tickets, a receipt will only be available for your most recently-exchanged ticket. If you need a receipt for your original itinerary, please access your original JetBlue confirmation email and reference the Payment Details.

If you no longer have your emailed itinerary or if your reservation has been divided,  contact us  and have the following items available: Your full name on the ticket, flight date, six-letter confirmation code , and the purchases you need detailed.

If you are a Peruvian citizen and would like to request a receipt for a past or future flight to/from Lima, Peru, please email  [email protected] . For a future flight itinerary, have your six-letter confirmation code available and click on View or print my itinerary.

Please refer to your original JetBlue Vacations itinerary, call 1-844-JBVACAY (844-528-2229) to speak directly with our Vacations team, or request a receipt via email.

• Receipt for purchases made onboard must be requested at the time of the purchase. Onboard receipts cannot be processed after flight.
• Inflight purchases can take up to four weeks to post to your credit card.

Receipts for flights, seats and baggage

Please note: Paid baggage and seats receipts are found in the “other charges” section of your emailed itinerary receipt .

WestJet Rewards members

If you've traveled with WestJet and would like to obtain electronic ticket receipts for your past flights (up to 13 months), becoming a WestJet Rewards member opens up a world of benefits and convenience.

If you made a food and beverage purchase on board and would like to obtain a copy of your receipt, we can help you with that. Simply select Find my receipt for onboard purchases.

Please note:

• Receipts will be available within 3-10 business days following your flight.
• If your receipt cannot be found online please  contact us .
• The ‘Departure city’ field is optional. If you leave it blank it will broaden your search. If used, enter the airport code or city name then select a choice from the drop down menu.

For onboard Internet purchases, an e-receipt was sent to the email you used to sign in. If you are unable to locate your e-receipt, please contact Panasonic, our Internet service provider, by email at  [email protected]  or toll-free at 866-663-5054 . 

Retrieve your itinerary and receipt

To have your itinerary emailed to you, you need to:

• have booked on westjet.com or through the WestJet Service and Sales Centre
• provide the same name that was used to make the booking
• provide the same email address that was used to make the booking
• Fill in First name, Last name and Email address
• Note that upon submitting your request, all email addresses included on the booking may receive copies of the itinerary as well.

We cannot email your itinerary if:

• the trip was booked through another online travel website
• you booked through a travel agent
• you booked using AIR MILES
• the trip was more than three days ago
• someone else’s email was used to make the booking

Please note that upon submitting your request, all email addresses included on the booking may receive copies of the itinerary as well. Unfortunately some itineraries cannot be retrieved online.

I entered all of my information, why hasn't my itinerary arrived?

There may be a few reasons why your itinerary hasn't arrived:

The first is that the name you enter above must be an exact match to the one used on the original booking. When you attempted to retrieve your itinerary, you may have entered your preferred name, such as Chris rather than Christopher.

The second is that there's a chance the email landed in your junk mail folder. Please have a look there. To avoid this, we kindly ask that you add  [email protected]  to your contact list to ensure you receive all itinerary emails from WestJet.

Next, if you booked through a travel agent or AIR MILES® you must contact them directly for assistance in retrieving your itinerary. 1-888-AIR-MILES (1-888-247-6453).

And finally, online itinerary retrieval is only available for three days after completing your entire trip.

What will my itinerary include?

Guests that complete a booking with WestJet will receive itinerary confirmation via email to the address provided. Depending on how you've booked your flight (i.e. through westjet.com or through our Sales Super Centre) your itinerary may have a different appearance. Regardless of your itinerary's appearance the guest(s) name, flight number(s) and arrival / departure date(s) and time(s) will be available.

Your itinerary also includes important information and links to:

• Our  airline partners  for guests travelling on a code-share flight
• Fares, taxes and fees  ( Change/cancel guidelines ,  baggage fees, service fees  and other  taxes and fees )
• Baggage allowances  (Carry-on, checked, sporting goods, restricted items)
• ID requirements  (For adults, children and infants on domestic, transborder and international flights)
• Seat selection  (How it works, changing your seat and more)
• Inflight entertainment  (Channel line-up, pay-per-view movies and TV programs)

Payment details:

If your itinerary contains your purchase price and payment information, please be sure to retain your copy as this is the only receipt you will receive.

If your itinerary does not contain your purchase price and payment information, it will have a link to your "eTicket" where you will be able to see this information for up to seven days after the last flight on your reservation.

Non WestJet Rewards members

If you're not a WestJet Rewards member, can't sign in at the moment, or didn't sign in when you bought your flight ticket, don't worry! You can still get your electronic ticket receipts within 3 days after your last flight. Just use our handy  retrieve your itinerary and receipt tool. It's a breeze!

Unfortunately, if it has been more than 3 days since completing your entire trip we are unable to provide you with a receipt online or through our contact centre. Please check the email that was used during checkout for your itinerary confirmation and receipt. The 'sent from' email address you can search for is: [email protected]. 

Please note: receipts cannot currently be issued for bookings made through non-westjet.com sites, WestJet Vacations bookings, or ancillary options (e.g. seat upgrade, baggage etc).

Non westjet.com bookings

For reservations booked through a travel agency or an online site, please contact the travel agency or online site to receive a copy of the ticket.

How to get my eticket itinerary, bags, seat, or carbon offset tax invoice receipts or copy of your flight booking itinerary confirmation, 12/09/2023 • knowledge, information.

How do I get my eTicket, bags, seats, or carbon offset tax invoice or copy of a flight booking itinerary confirmation?

After your ticket is issued, you'll receive an email confirming your booking, along with a tax invoice, usually within 24 hours. This email will be sent as a PDF attachment to the email address you provided during booking.

• You can view your booking online at any time at Manage booking .
• You should carry your eticket receipt at all times for both international and domestic flights.
• Photographic identification must be produced at check in.

You can access your eticket itinerary receipt (tax invoice) or email a copy of your your itinerary / confirmation email at any time via Manage Booking . Just select Resend tax invoice or Email Itinerary.

To request a copy of a tax invoice for up to two years after purchase visit the  Tax invoice page. A tax invoice is available for the following products, for bookings from Australia only:

Information.

An Itinerary Receipt ( ITR ), issued by OPTAT  e-ticket users, is mandated by IATA to be given to the passenger.

The ITR will be issued automatically at TTP (controlled by ITR field in the office profile), or can be requested by itself ( ITR ), after the e-ticket has been issued.

For international itineraries, the issuance of an ITR is mandatory for the contract details, security reasons and immigration. In some countries (e.g. South Africa) it is also mandatory for domestic flights. 

The Amadeus ITR is a travel document that provides a summary of the flight itinerary and is a receipt for an e-ticket. It complies with the travel IATA and ATA industry requirements. 

Contents of the ITR

• The whole itinerary and fare information
• Contractual agreements (which are normally printed on paper tickets), i.e. "Carriage and other services provided by the carrier are subject to conditions of contract...". These are also called "legal notices".
• Different markets may have different requirements and layouts of the document.
• Notices are always printed in English (unless certified by the airline/ BSP ), regardless of the language chosen for the rest of the ITR .
• The ITR will print automatically, if the ITR  office profile field is turned to YES , when a TTP is entered.
• The ITR can be printed by itself with the entry ITR , after the e-ticket has been issued.

Language Processing

The system will select the language by checking the following:

• The language entered in the ITR entry using option /LPxx
• If none, the language in the DLI field of the office profile.
• If none, the language preference in the sign preference (LNG attribute). This field is never on NONE, therefore the process stops here. Note : the LPR field in the office profile (Language Preference for the office) is not checked.
• The content and the language have to be validated by BSP for travel agencies, or by the airline for ATO/CTOs .
• The group of users, a travel agent belongs to, is determined by the ARP ( BSP Area Plan) in his office profile. For an airline, it is determined by their corporate id.
• The different versions of ITRs are called TEMPLATES. The template codes that the office uses is/are entered in the GDR field of the office profile. For each group of users, the template will be validated in a specific list of languages.
• On the French market, the ITR can be issued in French and English.
• If French is requested, the itinerary and the legal notices are in French.
• If English is requested, the itinerary only comes out in English but the legal notices remain in French. This is the way BSP FR wants it.
• On the Brazilian market, the ITR can be issued in Portuguese, English or Spanish. For all three languages the itinerary and the legal notices, as well, are translated in the language selected.
