Tripmonster terms and conditions says nothing about that they will refused you the refund when carrier is cancelling the flight , but they do.

The carrier is Norwegian (Norwegian Air Shuttle) and they are obligated to follow the EU legislation EC 261/2004.

Tripmonster is part of Otravo Group together with Flygstolen.se, Travelgenio, Travel2be and others.

First step: approach your credit card stating the goods were not delivered and money not returned.

Second step: kick yourself for not researching this company before handing over your money

Mostly agree with above.

My order would be:

1.) Kick myself for booking with a shonky third party.

2.) Try to dispute the charges, but it sounds that this deadline is long gone (more than 8 months). Still worth a call to your credit card company.

4.) Pray or conduct any ceremony according to your believes that they money arrives in the next 10-20 weeks.

5.) Keep contacting them and check your bank account.

I would take issue with you tim, slightly.

Incidentally the OP itself acknowledges TM is part of Travelgenio, etc so any chance of success, irrespective of terms/fees, are pretty hopeless as they have proven to be the worst of the worst in these sad Covid times. Thus paying the fee may be throwing good money after bad and mean a bigger financial hole.

I hadn't noticed that, Sussex. I believe we are up to 10 reported refunds out of 22K complaints, though!

You haven't said exactly how much refund is due , but i suspect it's not an expensive long haul . I hope that is the case , and whether in future you choose to use an OTA or book direct at least you will have this experience to assist in your decision making.

Kickd yourself in the booty, take the offer ( look at the 60 pd as a stupidity tax), start doing some research on that group of companeis you listed.

Hi I did my booking for international flight on this site Booking reference is: 22200118. I was trying to reschedule it but there is no contact or support. It just keeps sending you one mail on which you can't even reach out to there team. Really pathetic service and no customer support. I will not recommend this site to anyone.

They have not given us our refund

They have not given us our refund. They are a third party and we bought Korean Air Ticket to LA and due to unforeseen circumstances Korean Air decided to refund rhe ticket but we found out that the credit card that was used was not our cc but a different cc. We emailed tripmonster and they confirmed that they used their cc since they can do that since they are third party. Korean Air refunded our ticket to the cc used by tripmonster since teipmonster confirmed that they will processed it back to us. But until now we never heard from the after a lot of follow ups abd the amlunt is almlsst USD3000. Anyone who knows how or where to report this site any authorities who will investigate them please let us know so we can report them

I am waiting for a refund since July 2022,both way tickets from Auckland to Ahmedabad and then back, costed me more than 2700.00NZD. I called singapore airline, and they proceeded for refund but this agency did not say anything. Now, email I got mentioned," my email is not found with registration, try which one you use earlier. Hi, My name is CLAUDIO LUIZ AGOSTINI I CANCELED a Qatar Airways flight with you, as shown in the attached screenshot. The order reference was number 21968598. But so far I have not received a cash refund. There is another screen attached, confirming the cancellation of the flight in advance on the date of 12/12/22. I had a good experience with Tripmonster, I booked a ticket to Tunisia yesterday from London, realised I was arriving a day late, called them and they managed to give me full refund by cancelling the ticket, I must admit it was within a 24 hour period before I got my ticket.

Original flight cancelled with no way to contact the company.

Our original flight was cancelled and rebooked. But the rebooked flight does not work with all the connections. We have tried to contact the company in multiple ways to cancel or modify. Their official phone number on the attached invoice doesn't work. Their buttons of their website to call or email do not work if you click them. Responding to the original invoices don't seem to work either. It's extremely frustrating to have absolutely no way to contact the company (I would provide a booking number here, but that's neither smart or appropriate). We will have to call our credit card company in order to even begin to sort things out.

I had a Qantas booking from Melbourne to Canberra via Tripmonster and I searched my emails and tripmonster and Qantas website for hours but cannot find a tax invoice(not auto receipt). I need it for a claim. There is no active customer service in tripmonster. And I am just a student who couldn't afford too much for the flight. Poor customer service

I have been trying to cancel my ticket for some days now on trip monster without any success. I paid an additional service fee to be able to change the ticket date/ cancel in the future. I would like to have my flight that leaves Canada on December 31st canceled as I am no longer able to leave on that day. My booking ID is 2OESPY and I would like the flight to be canceled. Read the negative reviews and chose to ignore them. What a foolish move. Took me three days to actually get a contact number to call them and find out simple basic travel info such as buying baggage to add to my flight, they told me to contact the airline which is impossible to do as the number does not go through on my mobile. I then asked them if they can help me as I purchased the special services package that included priority assistance, support etc. the lady told me to go online and find other airline numbers and hung up on me! My other queries still awaiting response were regarding my seat I purchased and selected seats yet on my ticket it says random seat. Absolutely shocking and disgusting I am so anxiety about my flight this company is a joke!

This is my experience to tripmonster for real, i would say they suited their name as it is. I was happy when i found less cheaper price in their website thru kayak but after successfully paid thru the credit card it will become more than you expected. Tripmonster is a thief. Dont rely on their initial price, you'll be surprised after payment. Tip: look for another third party company and dont deal with tripmonster.

Tripmonster order ID 19959467 - what to do?

Tripmonster order ID 19959467 Our trip from Oslo to Costa Rica went ok, but our return seems been cancelled. We suddenly got a new e-ticket from tripmonster with only the flight from Frankfurt to Oslo. It seems like Lufthansa has cancelled the flights from San Jose to Frankfurt (via Panama). The even bigger problem is that tripmonster don’t give us any messages about what to do. Will we get tickets for new flights? It is impossible to contact tripmonster, and they do not respond any of our e-mails.

I have booked tickets for January but can’t access “my trips” to confirm all details etc. customer services aren’t getting back to me and right now the only way I can see to handle this is to claim back on my credit card?

If I could give them zero stars I would. There is literally no way to contact the airlines. Never, ever book through them. Our flight from Paris was cancelled, and they have still not yet confirmed our flight out tomorrow. It keeps appearing and disappearing, and I have no way to check in online. I'm traveling with three small children, and this has been the worst travel experience of my life.

Bought a flight but they recorded my phone number wrong now they wont answer my emails asking for special assistance as a disabled person at the airport. They say talk to the airline but Sadi say talk to the agent however all this means I will be near collapse with no help at Heathrow and no one will listen :-(

"Tripmonster" - NOMEN est OMEN !!! Booking ID - 19931640, Airline Reference Number: U7R9AV, BA801 flight to London Heathrow on 14 Jul 2022 has been cancelled At February 6th 2022, almost 1 and 1/2 year ago, I booked a flight from Reykjavik to London (on July 14th 2022) via the agency tripmonster.com, but the flight was cancelled by british airways at April 29th 2022. After contacting tripmonster they told me that the refund of the payment can last up to 18 months. After 18 months I still have not got the refund from the cancelled flight, see below. Furthermore I cannot find a contact to tripmonster agency, just the indication in german language to contact Mytrips, see "....Für alle anderen Rückerstattungsanfragen, einschließlich der Stornierung oder Änderung Ihrer Buchung durch uns oder den Anbieter, wenden Sie sich bitte an unseren Kundendienst unter MyTrips." bislang kein Geld oder keine Antwort vom Tripmonster oder Mytrips. Achtung Betrüger, Finger weg !!

Terrible experience

I want to cancel a flight. The "Cancel flight" page says I have to contact the airline, which is not the case, as verified by the airline. Tripmonster has to cancel the flight. There is no way of reaching them, either by chat or phone. The support page seems to have removed anything regarding cancellations. And when I try to open a ticket, it says I already have one active so I can't send another one???? Booking ID: 22357307

Total scam company …

I booked my VietJet flight to Vietnam over a month ago with TripMonster. After arriving at the airport I was told that these flights were already cancelled by the airline yet TripMonster sold it to me anyway. They are an irresponsible criminal company and a total scam. Do not ever book through them.
