Trusted Travel do not operate - do not use

This company is not operating. The parking could not be honoured by the actual car park company as they had not received payments from Trusted Travel. I needed to pay again and claim the original payment to Trusted Travel via my credit card. Despite numerous emails - I received nothing back from Trusted Travel. Do not use this company.

cheap and efficient

I would recommend this company and not just for being the cheapest around. We have had to change and then unfortunately cancel our booking. All along we have had a quick polite response and ended in a very satisfactory position, so much so we have booked them again in April. I cannot however comment any further as we did not physically use them.

Company Possibly Gone Under?

Have used them in the past, and they seem to be pretty good in terms of price offering (I had a 50% off lifetime membership I bought from Wowcher for £2 a good few years ago). However, when trying to book through their website now, it fails to load and gives an error message. Reading all the recent reviews I believe the company possibly has gone under and may no longer be trading.

Company has ceased trading do not use. If you booked with them like me your booking means nothing and you will have have to pay again if they have space or book elsewhere and then try and claim a refund. Also the company there charged me almost double i thought they could at least honour the original cost paid or the difference.

AVOID this company

AVOID this company. Had to give 1 star but that is 1 too many. When we arrived at the designated park, we were told that they were no longer honouring bookings from Trusted Travel as they were not sending payments to the car park stated. I have tried to contact on numerous occasions but only received automated responses stating a ticket has been reported - never received anything from them. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!, on arrival at site we were not allowed in as they said they were overbooked and a different company look manage the site. Basically got fobbed off, told to ring up and email for refund, did both of these got nowere, recieved email to say accounts sorting refund, still waiting 2 weeks later, emailed again reply was accounting error, load of crap, please please stay away from this company and save your money, you wont get it back no matter what they say. if i could give zero stars i would...........

AVOID! Similar story to previous disgruntled customers. This company are definitely NOT to be trusted. We booked and payed £70 for airport parking at Manchester and were told on our arrival at the carpark that they were no longer honouring agreements with Trusted Travel customers. We had to pay another £70 in order to park our car or miss our flight! I to contacted Trusted Travel 6 weeks ago for a refund but have heard nothing back other than an automatic email to say a 'ticket' had been issued.

Criminal Car parking companies.

As with other reviews we booked through Trusted travel when we arrived at Manchester, care parks informed us that they would not honour our booking. We then had no choice but to pay again which was more than we originally paid. Both care parks and trusted travel are responsible they allowed them to be there agents in the first place. After our holiday we couldn't contact anyone even the banks are no help. people are sick of being screwed over by these criminals. Care parks are as culpable as trusted travel in this, they knew we had no choice but to pay again because we had a plane to catch. both companies are a disgrace. 0 stars.

This company has ceased trading however continuing to take bookings. I made a reservation to use Toad Road car parking through 'Trusted Travel' only to find there wasn't a space reserved for me on the day I was due to fly and subsequently had to pay Car Care who own the premisis separately. I will be making a claim through my bank account against Trusted Travel

An absolute scam of a company

After booking meet & greet parking at Heathrow we returned after an 11 hr flight to find out TT had not paid the parking company, who then demanded an extra £80 to release our car. Not what was needed after a long journey. Absolutely NO response from “Trusted Travel” never a more ironic business name. DISGUSTING!!

Scamming cnuts text me the day before my flight…. Due to your booking agent, Trusted Travel closed the business and is not operational anymore. We Midlands Parking will provide you with our services as normal , and you would be required to pay parking charges £60 on arrival . Three emails now to a Trusted Travel re…

Three emails now to a Trusted Travel re their non payment to car parking company for Manchester Airport Parking and being turned away on 16 September. Having to find car parking at another car park and having to pay an exhorbitant price. Have received 1 generic email from Trusted Travel on 19 September stating that they will get back within 48 hours but it’s often much sooner!!! What a joke. They had no trouble taking my money

I am giving 5 stars based on today's events! Back in 2019 I gave up trying to get a refund for car parking which was cancelled by TT a couple of days before flying. I was prompted this week to chase this up by a press call out for similar complaints. I would encourage people who have had similar negative experiences to give your claim another go maybe through the beleaguered Will. I just had full refund paid into my account and although it should have happened 4 years ago it made my day!!! Well done Will! 👏

Misleading post code and impatience attitude of CLS representative The actual service offered is fairly…

The actual service offered is fairly good however the postcode for the car parking is misleading in that the Satnav will take you to a remote house a few miles away. Had this been explained in the directions we could have avoided a very heated telephone exchange throughout which I was shouted at as though I was a moron (the signal was not good so I had to keep repeating myself)

I'm being utterly frustrated by this…

I'm being utterly frustrated by this company. Having written a few days ago, on here, to express my anger that no refund has been processed after THEY cancelled our airport lounge booking, Will has replied below, but it's absolute nonsense! I'm a director of a large company and have been in business for decades. I'm extremely technically savvie. There are NO calls fromTrusted Travel. There are no emails, in spam/junk or otherwise. I have written WITH my bank and card details both using their enquiry form AND to their 'support' email multiple times. There is no phone number to contact them, and frankly, they ARE receiving my emails, and me theirs, as I clearly received their cancellation, and then their request for bank details. It's FROM that point they have stopped responding. ..... except on here, briefly, when I complained, only to go silent again afterwards. So I'm taking the insane step of putting my details here so they really can't tell an untruth yet again to say they don't have them. Either process my refund to Acct: 41521105 Sort: 09.01.28 name: Diana stevens or I'm tediously forced to take this further as I am afraid, I'm not letting this go.

Excellent service!

There was an issue with our booking just a couple of days before our holidays but Trusted Travel upgraded our booking to ensure we would still be able to park in Aberdeen Airport Car Park securely while we went on our holidays. The staff were very helpful and I would definitely use them again.

Carpark had to change last minute

Carpark had to change last minute, the other option was far more expensive than the original cost, they didn't charge extra and swapped it over within seconds! Would highly recommend!!

Excellent outcome after a bad situation

This is the first time I booked my parking via Trusted travel and it was messed up big time by the Platinum Parking , who were parking the cars on their behalf. But when made aware, Will from the customer care, was constantly in touch with me and not only refunded my fee but also provided me with an excellent parking experience, next time, I needed to Park my car. A star to Will and the service provided. Excellent customer care. I would definitely park with them again and highly recommend them.

Used Trusted travel via a cash-back website. This seems to have not gone through for the cashback claim as easily as most sites work. With regards the purchase of the product everything seemed to have gone through for a just over the lowest price on comparison. Further ... tried contacting your customer dept. Great communications with customer…

Great communications with customer services, following a mistake that I made on the initial booking form. They resolved my problem within a very short period (Given that I made the booking on a Sunday) and sent an amended confirmation with all the correct details. Thank you so much for your efficiency.

A cancelled flight ….

I had a cancelled flight today and therefore had to amend the booking to park my car at Gatwick airport. Luckily they rang and were very helpful and amended my booking with only 24 hrs notice.

Amazing customer service

Under the current financial climate the actions of the Trusted Travel team was really appreciated. I was given a full refund immediately it became apparent the wrong lounge had been booked. Despite their T&C’s stating it could be over 72 hours before any enquiry was processed, Will from Customer Services emailed to inform me the refund was in hand. Whilst not a Kings ransom, the news was most welcome and actually unexpected due to time scale. Impressed and grateful. Next time I travel, your lounge will be my first choice. Thank you

It is unfortunate that you use this parking lot. You as a company should not be using a lot that does not extend parking or your app. You should also not give the option on extending if it's not honored. So instead of paying $26 for extended parking I had to pay $75. I would have parked elsewhere, that also had paved parking and would extend parking at or near same rate of what I originally payed.

This is an utter disappointment. Having filed a claim back on April 5th, today, on April 29th, I still haven't received any updates regarding my inquiry. I've submitted ALL the necessary documents (and I emphasize ALL: medical records, tickets, bank statements, cancellation proofs, and several other documents that directly support the insurance claim). If there's no progress on my claim within the coming week, I'll have no choice but to resort to legal action, seeking additional compensation for the moral distress caused by this insurance company's incompetence. Robbing you in day light. Already paid for everything, then once again when doing the check in you have to order seats. Total of 1500 NOK for both ways aditionally besides the ticket fees are robbed like nothing! The planes are old and the seats are bad too. When I logged in they logged me in as my deceased father that died in 2016 because we share the same surname. So watch out for personal information. I will check this with a lawyer and sue them for being reckless with the "privacy law" personvern-loven.

By submitting a booking form, you are confirming your intention to travel and you are confirming that you are the client or an authorised nominee acting on their behalf. This is considered a valid booking unless advised by Trusted Travel.

You acknowledge that the activity described in the schedule can be hazardous and that the person participates at his/her own risk. You understand that Trusted Travel will take reasonable steps to provide a safe environment for them and to ensure that all equipment supplied by Trusted Travel for the activity is of a reasonable standard.

You acknowledge that Trusted Travel will not be liable for any injury that may be suffered by the participant, which arises either directly or indirectly from, or in connection with, the activity described in the schedule incorporated in this form.

You hereby agree to indemnify Trusted Travel against any and all claims arising from, or in connection with, any injury that may be suffered by the participant, or that the participant may cause to another person, as well as any loss or damage to property, equipment or personal effects belonging to them, or any other person, arising either directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the itinerary outlined for this holiday.

You agree that Trusted Travel may authorise on the participant’s behalf whatever medical treatment he/she may require. (This includes, but is not limited to, ambulance attendance and hospital treatment) You agree to pay all medical expenses incurred.

You understand that this waiver will remain in place throughout your relationship with Trusted Travel.

If the client has requested an individualised holiday, you will be sent a quote/itinerary for their chosen holiday and asked to approve this in writing before any bookings will commence. Once approved in writing, the client will be sent an invoice for their non-NDIS claimable expenses (or the cost of the holiday if you are not using NDIS plan). If the client chooses to self-manage their NDIS Plan, you will receive two invoices (NDIS Claimable and non-NDIS claimable items). If self-managed costs are not paid within the timeframes listed below, Trusted Travel reserves the right to cancel the client’s reservation. Cancellation of a client’s reservation may incur cancellation fees, please see “Cancellation of your holiday” heading below for further information.

For any holiday using the client’s NDIS plan, bookings are not finalised until a Service Agreement and Schedule of Supports are signed with Trusted Travel (The Disability Trust) for their NDIS supports. By completing the Consent section of our booking form, you agree to the terms and conditions of these documents.

Payment methods and terms

The Disability Trust will use the information you supply in the Trusted Travel booking form to create a debtor ID. The Disability Trust accepts the following payment methods:

• EFT. Cheque
• Money order
• Credit card
• Direct debit

All invoices are payable as per the terms stated on the invoice received, or 14 days prior to departure date (whichever comes first). Please contact the accounts department on 02 4255 8000 or email [email protected] for invoice or statement enquiries.

As part of agreeing to these terms and conditions, you agree to have understood the application process for a credit account to be opened with The Disability Trust. You also confirm that the information provided in the Trusted Travel Booking Form is true and correct.

• You understand that if there is any default by the Client and/or Organisation in making payment to The Disability Trust the information collected in this Agreement together.
• You understand that if there is any default by the Client and/or Organisation in making payment to The Disability Trust, the information collected in this Agreement together with the information as to the amounts claimed by The Disability Trust to be owing and any related information may be accessed by The Disability Trust and their employees.

You acknowledge that full payment of any debt must be made within the terms as set out above.

• You understand that the supply of goods and/or service/s to the Client may be refused if any particulars requested by The Disability Trust are not provided by the Client and/or Organisation or if these terms are not agreed to by the Client and/or Organisation.
• You acknowledge that The Disability Trust has requested the Client and/or Organisation to let The Disability Trust know immediately in writing of any change to the account information. The Client and/or Organisation acknowledges having been advised by The Disability Trust that Client and/or Organisation is entitled to access the account information from time to time and require The Disability Trust to take all reasonable steps to ensure that all such information is accurate, complete and up to date. Gift cards can be used to pay toward your Disability Trust account, Trusted Travel holiday or Trusted Travel merchandise.

Cancellation of your holiday

If you choose to withdraw your booking after 14 days of submission, you may be liable for a non-refundable administration fee. This fee may be waived in extenuating circumstances at Trusted Travel’s discretion.

Self-funded charges, excluding self-funded service packages, may be applied for late cancellation of a holiday. If you cancel, you may be liable for:

• 30 days or more where bookings have commenced – loss of 10% deposit of non-NDIS expenses
• 14-30 days – 50% of total cost of non-NDIS expenses
• 0-14 days – 100% of total cost of non-NDIS expenses
• If a 3rd party is involved in the booking, extra cancellation fees may apply according to their schedule of fees.
• Cancelled NDIS-claimable supports are subject to the terms and conditions as outlined in your NDIS Service Agreement and NDIS cancellation policy.

NDIS-funded charges may also be applied for service cancellation. Once a booking is received, Trusted Travel reserves the right to make NDIS-funded bookings on the client’s behalf. Once bookings have commenced, the client may be liable to pay up to 100% of the NDIS costs associated with the holiday even in the event of non-attendance or cancellation from their NDIS plan or, where the charges conflict with the NDIS cancellation policy and service agreement, from their personal finances.

If the client has elected to self-fund their service package, Trusted Travel reserves the right to make bookings on the client’s behalf. Once bookings have commenced, the client may be liable to pay up to 100% of the self-funded service costs associated with the holiday even in the event of non-attendance or cancellation.

Cancellations by Trusted Travel due to COVID-19

Unfortunately, where increased risks indicate the best course of action at that time is to cancel plans for travel, Trusted Travel may need to cancel a group holiday prior to departure. The health, wellbeing and safety of our clients and the enjoyment of travelling on holidays without extra stress are of the upmost importance. If this decision is made, we will notify affected travellers as soon as possible.

Trusted Travel will not charge any cancellation fees or charges where the change has been deemed required by our Travel Consultants. Anything already paid by the client in this instance will be offered as a full refund or credit for a future holiday.

Holiday change or tour cancellation

Trusted Travel will endeavour to operate all tours/holidays as planned and to the itinerary advertised. At times due to circumstances out of our control, or force majeure, we may need to cancel the holiday or alter the booking. We will notify you of any changes at our earliest convenience. If alternative or suitable arrangements cannot be made, you will be entitled to a full refund or transfer to another holiday of equal or lesser value.

Where variations are requested by a client to the group holiday package advertised, prices may vary from the advertised price.

Frequent Flyer programmes

Trusted Travel will endeavour to use preferred suppliers by clients for all services where possible. If you’ve provided your Frequent Flyer details in the booking form, Trusted Travel cannot guarantee that the details you’ve provided will be relevant to the provider that you are flying with. This is due to conflicting airline schedules and potential increases in cost.

Please ensure that you are aware of any health requirements and precautions of the destination you are travelling. You are responsible for any vaccinations required. Please consult your doctor for any advice before travelling. In the case that you can’t be supported effectively due to your vaccination status, Trusted Travel may have to cancel your booking and a credit or refund may not be offered.

Travel requirements

If the holiday is international, you are responsible for any visas, immigration, quarantine, customs requests or requirements for the countries visited or transited. You are responsible for a passport with at least 6 months’ validity from the date of the trip. Please ensure these requirements are met prior to booking your trip. Trusted Travel recommends registering with smarttraveller.gov.au prior to departure on an international holiday.

Baggage limits are provided by travel companies and they must be adhered to. Any excess must be paid by the traveller.

Please review all documents carefully once received to ensure correct details. Please ensure your name matches that of your identification. If you notice any issues, please contact a member of the Trusted Travel team as soon as possible prior to departure. Travel Insurance – Trusted Travel recommends all clients take out relevant level of insurance cover. We can assist clients to source the right cover for them, however cannot support clients in purchasing or maintaining their appropriate level of cover.

Support whilst on holiday

Trusted Travel will endeavour to provide the level of support as requested by you. We use the booking form to determine your support needs, and provide staffing support according to this and what is quoted at the time of the holiday enquiry. We ask that travellers be honest in the information provided when booking so to determine the correct level of support required, in particular, health and personal care needs, behaviours of concern, and night time/overnight routines. Any extra support required whilst away on holidays may be billed to the client at the relevant support rate from the most recent NDIS Price Guide.

Merchandise orders

Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order for any products. By placing an order for Products, you agree to these Terms.

We will be deemed to have formally accepted your offer of purchase when the merchandise order form has been received. Each order accepted by us will be a separate and binding agreement between you and Trusted Travel for the supply of the relevant Products in accordance with these Terms. You must provide accurate and current information when ordering your Products. You are responsible for checking the size, options, colours, materials and other relevant information that you submit with your order. By submitting an order, you represent that all Products, sizes, quantities and component variables listed in the order are correct.

Your legal rights

Your purchase of Products will be subject to certain laws including, without limitation, the Australian Consumer Law contained in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)(ACL). Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. Pricing and taxes

Prices are as shown on this website. Trusted Travel reserves the right to change the prices of Products at any time without notice to you. The price displayed at the time that you place your order will continue to apply to you even if the price changes before your order is accepted by us. Prices will be displayed in Australian dollars.

Order cancellations

You understand that if there is any default by the Participant and/or Organisation in making payment to The Disability Trust, the information collected in this Agreement together with the information as to the amounts claimed by The Disability Trust to be owing and any related information may be accessed by The Disability Trust and their employees.

Don't use this company!

Although I had booked and paid for my airport parking, I was informed by Trusted Travel 72 hours before my trip that my booking had been cancelled! Three week's later, I have still not received my refund despite numerous attempts to contact them via email, phone. I am now making a chargeback claim through my bank. Absolutely disgusting service. I have given 1* star, but not even worth that. This company needs reporting to trading standards. Update - I have now received credit after making a chargeback claim through my bank. Next stage to report them to Trading Standards.

We had to pay again for our parking…

We had to pay again for our parking when we arrived at Toad Park and ride as they said trusted travel hadn't paid them or given them any details of ours we paid trusted travel £70.00 & had another £ 90.00 to pay when we arrived as they said they hadn't been paid by trusted travel we will be seeking a refund as soon as we get home from our holiday it ready wasn't a good thing this also made us late to the airport

Do Not Use - Had to cancel booking, company acknowledged this and said the refund had been processed and would be in account within 5-7 days. This was over 5 weeks ago. Further 8 emails sent since and they are now just ignoring me. £50 lost, no contact number. Very poor after saying they would refund. Have contacted the airport parking direct who confirm the booking was cancelled but trusted travel have kept the money!

Arrived in Manchester’s Toad parking location, ready for a break to Spain to be faced with the horror that there was no parking reservation! The lady behind the desk at Toad Parking was empathetic and explained that Opitech, a part of Trusted Travel had ceased trading in October. We’d had no notification of this and had to pay again to park the car. Goodness knows what we’d have done in the height of summer!!! I emailed opitech and have had no response. Money is hard earned and this set of crooks should be ashamed. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE 😡

DO NOT USE, SCAM. I booked after seeing good overall reviews however, was refused my space 3 hours before my flight because the 3rd party parking they use are refusing Trusted Travel bookings due to contract breaches. I had already paid and had to find last minute parking. No contact number and the email service took days to respond. Very poor customer service and they said they will issue a refund in 7-10 working days which was over 3 weeks ago. Lots of similar reviews recently.

Terrible company, turned up at Manchester Airport to be told there were no spaces left we had find last minute parking which cost an additional £120 , various emails saying I would get a refund still nothing. No phone number to call or anything ridiculous

Got carepark at Manchester 19.10.23 paid online via bank greeted with reception to say trusted travel hant paid them to park cars on there carpark so at 03.00am I was greeted with you need to pay us again in which I did I told trusted travel was paying me back to into my account that was on the 19th.10.23 numerous emails later too know avail trusted travel are ignoring my emails I'm out of pocket still know money in my account I've waited 3 weeks getting annoyed now as there ignoring my emails with be using these anymore (theifs)

I had to re-book it direct with them and pay an extra £20! Emailed Trusted travel Customer Services (no phone number.....surprise surprise) on 12th October and still no reply, I am going through my bank to try and claim the money back!

Just contacted MBW Parking who Trusted…

Just contacted MBW Parking who Trusted Travel have booked our parking with and got this reply: Booking Ref:TTNL27D8 Dear Sir, I have had a phone call with Mr Law informing him that we are no longer honoring any Trusted Travel bookings. Due to unforeseen circumstances your future Heathrow parking booked via Trusted Travel has been cancelled by MBW Parking. MBW Parking have had to terminate its commercial relationship with Trusted Travel (The Company you paid and made the booking with). Whilst we appreciate this is s not ideal with travel planned in the near future we have had to these steps to protect our company and customers.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Utterly disgraceful service. Booked parking in July for a long-haul flight in October 2023. Booking for airport parking went through for £90. We were given directions to a pub! Basically the airport parking was non-existent and we had to pay a further £220 to park our car for the trip. We were just lucky to find another parking operator so near to where we were. They had never heard of the operator in their 10 years (Four Points Parking). Obviously a scam as Trusted Travel have not responded to my email from 2 weeks ago, despite a routine reply, and their website has miraculously disappeared. There is nothing to be 'trusted' about these charlatans. A quick look into the company online shows a Mr Peter Oliver Brooks as the company director.

No Customer service

Booked 5 weeks before our holiday, then 24 hours before the flight received an email to say there were not enough parking spaces. Tried calling them several times but never pick up. Emailed them and received an auto response that they would try and contact us within 48hrs. What use is that.

• The U.S. Department of State urges travelers to avoid travel to Russia because of COVID-19 and to "exercise increased caution due to terrorism, harassment, and the arbitrary enforcement of local laws."  
• Anyone exploring more of Russia should avoid "The North Caucasus, including Chechnya and Mount Elbrus, due to terrorism, kidnapping,   and   risk of civil unrest." Also, travelers should stay away from "Crimea due to Russia’s occupation of the Ukrainian territory   and   abuses by its occupying authorities."

Is Moscow Dangerous?

The Moscow city center is typically safe. In general, the closer you are to the Kremlin , the better. Travelers mainly need to be aware of their surroundings and look out for petty crime. Be especially careful in tourist areas such as Arbat Street and crowded places like the Moscow Metro transit system. The suburbs are also generally fine, though it is advised to stay away from Maryino and Perovo districts.

Terrorism has occurred in the Moscow area, leading authorities to increase security measures. Be more careful at tourist and transportation hubs, places of worship, government buildings, schools, airports, crowds, open markets, and additional tourist sites.

Pickpockets and purse snatching happen often in Russia, perpetrated by groups of children and teenagers who distract tourists to get their wallets and credit cards. Beware of people asking you for help, who then trick you into their scheme. Don’t expect a backpack to be a safe bag bet; instead, invest in something that you can clutch close to your body or purchase a money belt . Always diversify, storing some money in a separate location so that if you are pickpocketed, you'll have cash elsewhere. Keep an eye out for thieves in public transportation, underground walkways, tourist spots, restaurants, hotel rooms and homes, restaurants, and markets.

Is Moscow Safe for Solo Travelers?

Large cities like Moscow in Russia are overall fairly safe if you are traveling alone, and the Moscow Metro public transit is a secure and easy way to get around. But it is still a good idea to follow basic precautions as in any destination. Avoid exploring alone at night, especially in bad areas. You may want to learn some basic Russian phrases or bring a dictionary, as many locals don't speak English. However, in case you need any help, there are tourist police that speak English. Also, exploring with other trusted travelers and locals or on professional tours is often a good way to feel safe.

Is Moscow Safe for Female Travelers?

Catcalling and street harassment are infrequent in Moscow and the rest of Russia and females traveling alone don't usually have problems. There are plenty of police officers on the streets as well. Still, it serves to stick to Moscow's well-lit, public areas, avoid solo night walks, and use your instincts. Women frequenting bars may take receive some friendly attention. Females can wear whatever they want, but those entering Orthodox churches will be required to cover up. Though women in Russia are independent, domestic violence and other inequality issues take place regularly.

Safety Tips for LGBTQ+ Travelers

Russia is not known as a gay-friendly country. However, Moscow is one of the more welcoming cities with a blooming LGBTQ+ community and many friendly restaurants, bars, clubs, and other venues. Hate crimes in Russia have increased since the 2013 anti-gay propaganda law. Openly LGBTQ+ tourists in this conservative country may experience homophobic remarks, discrimination, or even violence, especially if traveling with a partner. Also, while women hold hands or hug publicly—whether romantically involved or not—men should avoid public displays of affection to prevent being insulted or other issues.

Safety Tips for BIPOC Travelers

Moscow  and other big cities in Russia have sizable populations of various cultures, so discrimination against BIPOC travelers is rarer than in other parts of the country where it can become dangerous. Some people living in Russia who are Black, Asian, Jewish, and from other backgrounds have experienced racial discrimination and violence. Tourists won't usually experience overt racism but may be the recipients of some stares. If anyone should bother you, be polite and resist being taunted into physically defending yourself.

Safety Tips for Travelers

Travelers should consider the following general tips when visiting:

• It's best not to drink the tap water. If you do, boil it before drinking, though showering is safe and the amount used to brush teeth is generally not harmful. Mineral water is widely drunk, especially at restaurants, and if you prefer not to have it carbonated ask for “ voda byez gaz” (water without gas).
• If you need emergency assistance in case of fire, terrorism, medical issues, or more, dial 112 in Russia for bilingual operators.
• Be judicious about taking photographs, especially of police or officials. This can potentially bring unwanted attention to yourself by members of law enforcement who won’t mind asking to see your passport. Also avoid snapping photos of official-looking buildings, such as embassies and government headquarters.
• Carry your passport in as secure a manner as possible. If you get stopped for any reason by the police, they can fine or arrest you if you don't have the document with you. Also, keep photocopies of your passport, the page on which your travel visa appears, and any other documents that relate to your stay in Russia.
• Use official taxis only and steer clear of illegal taxi companies, especially at night. Ask your hotel to call a reputable taxi company.

Flying to / from moscow.

If you take a domestic flight , it'll be either to / from Sheremetyevo 1 or Domodedovo airports.

The new and renovated Vnukovo airport serves mostly domestic flights (UtAir, Vladivostok Avia, flights to North Caucasus), as well as German Wings flights to/from Germany.

To get from the airports to the center of Moscow you can take Aeroexpress train, which is the fastest and easiest way to get to the city. A train ride takes about 35-40 minutes and costs about 500R (€8) one way. Tickets can be purchased on the spot or using Aeroexpress iPhone app.  You can also get a taxi from the airport . On average a trip to the center of the city takes about 1 hour (can be more during peak times and less in the night and on the weekends), prices start at €20 one way if you order a taxi through Uber or Yandex.Taxi. The problem is that there are many taxis outside and no designated waiting point, so if you don't speak Russian and don't have a Russian phone number it may be hard to coordinate with the driver. Travel in Moscow is easier than you might think: the city’s general layout is a series of concentric circles and radial lines emanating from Red Square and the Kremlin, and the centre is compact enough to explore on foot. Moscow’s sights can also be mapped as strata of its history: the old Muscovy that Russians are eager to show; the now retro-chic Soviet-era sites such as VDNK and Lenin’s Mausoleum; and the exclusive restaurants and shopping malls that mark out the new Russia. A CityPass is a good bet if you plan on seeing several of the city's heavyweight attractions.

Despite its size, Moscow's concentric layout is easier to grasp than you'd imagine, and the city's famous metro ensures that almost everywhere of interest is within fifteen minutes' walk of a station. Red Square and the Kremlin are the historic nucleus of the city, a magnificent stage for political drama, signifying a great sweep of history that includes Ivan the Terrible, Peter the Great, Stalin and Gorbachev. Here you'll find Lenin's Mausoleum and St Basil's Cathedral, the famous GUM department store, and the Kremlin itself, whose splendid cathedrals and Armoury Museum head the list of attractions. Immediately east of Red Square lies the Kitay-gorod, traditionally the commercial district, and originally fortified like the Kremlin. Stretches of the ramparts remain behind the Metropol and Rossiya hotels, and the medieval churches of Zaryade and the shops along Nikolskaya ulitsa may tempt you further into the quarter, where you'll find the former headquarters of the Communist Party. Take a private Kremlin tour to skip the lines for the Kremlin grounds and cathedrals.

The Kremlin and Kitay-gorod are surrounded by two quarters defined by rings of boulevards built over the original ramparts of medieval times, when Moscow's residential areas were divided into the "White Town" or Beliy Gorod, and the humbler "Earth Town" or Zemlyanoy Gorod. Situated within the leafy Boulevard Ring that encloses the Beliy Gorod are such landmarks as the Bolshoy Theatre and the Lubyanka headquarters of the secret police – with its "KGB Museum" – while the Zemlyanoy Gorod that extends to the eight-lane Garden Ring is enlivened by the trendy old and new Arbat streets, with three Stalin skyscrapers dominating the Ring itself.

Beyond this historic core Moscow is too sprawling to explore on foot. Krasnaya Presnya, Fili and the southwest describes a swathe which includes the former Russian Parliament building (known as the White House); Tolstoy's house and the Novodeviche Convent and Cemetery; Victory Park, with its war memorials and Jewish museum; and Moscow State University in the Sparrow Hills – the largest of the Stalin skyscrapers.

Across the river from the Kremlin, Zamoskvorechye and the south are the site of the old and new Tretyakov Gallery's superlative collection of Russian art. Private guided tours are recommended for art enthusiasts. Here too you'll find Gorky Park, the Donskoy and Danilov monasteries that once stood guard against the Tartars, and the romantic ex-royal estates of Tsaritsyno and Kolomenskoe – the latter known for staging folklore festivals and historical pageants.

Taganka and Zayauze, east of the centre, likewise harbour fortified monasteries – the Andronikov, Novospasskiy and Simonov – and the erstwhile noble estates of Kuskovo and Kuzminki, but the main lure for tourists is the Izmaylovo art market. Inside the Izmaylovo Kremlin, a cultural centre, there are also a range of attractions, from the Bread Museum and the Vodka History Museum to the fascinating Museum of Russian Toys.

Moscow's Northern Suburbs cover a vast area with a sprinkling of sights. Foremost is the Memorial and Museum of Cosmonautics and VDNK. For anyone interested in the glory days of the space race, and its monumental landmarks and propaganda, a visit is a must, like on this guided tour . In the vicinity are the Ostankino Palace, Moscow's Botanical Gardens and TV Tower. West from here, the Museum of Soviet Arcade Machines will appeal to visitors with an interest in Soviet social history, too.

Outside Moscow there's scope for day-excursions to the Trinity Monastery of St Sergei, the Abramtsevo artists' colony, Tchaikovsky's house in Kiln, Lenin's estate at Gorki Leninskie, and the battlefield of Borodino, where the battle is re-enacted every September. You can also head out to the village of Aksakovo for a beautiful two-hour troika ride. Further afield, the historic towns of Vladimir and Suzdal are graced by splendid cathedrals and monasteries attesting that they were the seat of a principality when Moscow was merely an encampment. Suzdal is one of the loveliest towns in Russia, and definitely merits an overnight stay. It's also possible to visit the Aviation Museum at Monino air base, en route to Vladimir, if you take the trouble to get permission ahead of time.

While Moscow's Bolshoy Ballet (also spelt "Bolshoi") is going through uncertain times, plagued by infighting and rivalries (not least the recent acid attack on Artistic Director Sergei Filin), few would deny themselves the chance to see this legendary company. During the season, evening performances start at 7pm, and Saturday and Sunday matinees at noon; there are no shows on Monday.

You can see what’s on currently and for a few months ahead on the Bolshoy’s website – although the English version sometimes lags behind the Russian one. The ballet company is usually abroad over summer and sometimes also in the autumn, leaving the junior corps de ballet to entertain visitors – although star dancers are certain to be in Moscow for the opening of the new season in September. For those not interested in ballet but more in the historical aspect of the Bolshoy theatre, take a guided historic tour of the grounds.

Built as a symbol of gratitude to divinity for having aided the Russians’ defeat of Napoleon in 1812, the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour (daily 10am–6pm), opposite the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts at Volkhonka ul. 15, was demolished in 1931 in favour of a monument to socialism. The project was soon abandoned and years later, under Krushev’s rule, the site was turned into the world’s largest public swimming pool. In 1994 the Cathedral was rebuilt and is now a symbol of Moscow’s (and Russia’s) post-Communist religious revival.

Moscow isn’t a city that goes to bed early. Many venues act as a café by day, restaurant in the early evening, and both bar and club at night. This can cover anything from an arthouse café with a spot of live music to a dance warehouse, or a fancy nightclub with a restaurant and casino. Most cater to a certain crowd, whether it’s creative professionals, students, shell-suited "flatheads" or designer-draped models. While formal dress codes are rare, face control (feys kontrol) is widespread. Russians distinguish between “democratic” face control (aimed at keeping out hooligans and bandits), and the kind that favours the rich (never mind how they behave). It’s unwise to rile club security staff, however rude they might be.

There are scores of trendy bars and clubs on Krasny Oktyabr, a former chocolate factory building located across the river from Kropotkinskaya and now home to some of Moscow’s hippest nightlife.

Moscow's gastronomic scene has improved enormously over the last five years, with hundreds of new cafés and restaurants offering all kinds of cuisine and surroundings, aimed at anyone with a disposable income – from mega-rich New Russians and expense-account expatriates to fashion-conscious wealthy teenagers.

For cheap eats head to a canteen, where you can compile a tray of dishes smorgasbord-style. Take advantage of the great-value business lunches offered by cafés and restaurants during the week between noon and 4pm.

For well over a century, Moscow has been one of the world’s great centres of classical music, opera and ballet, most famously represented by the Bolshoy Theatre but also by its orchestras and choirs. Theatre can be tricky for non-Russian speakers though circus and puppetry surpass the language barrier. Moscow’s film industry and annual international film festival dwarf St Petersburg’s, but at other times most cinemas screen Hollywood blockbusters.

All this can be surprisingly good value, provided you ask for the cheapest ticket available ( samiy deshoviy bilyet ).

Gorky Park on ul. Krymskiy Val 9 (R100; Park Kultury) is a large park occupying an area of over 700 acres along the river. In the winter the frozen-over paths become one of the city’s largest ice rinks, while in the summer Muscovites stroll the area savouring an ice cream.

Admirers of Bulgakov, Chekhov, Gorky and Tolstoy will find their former homes preserved as museums. Anton Chekhov lived at Sadovaya-Kudrinskaya ul. 6, in what is now the Chekhov House-Museum (Tues, Thurs & Sat 11am–6pm, Wed & Fri 2–8pm; R100, student R60; Barrikadnaya), containing humble personal effects, while the Gorky House-Museum (Wed–Sun 11am–6pm, closed last Thurs of the month; free; Arbatskaya) on the corner of Povarskaya ulitsa and ulitsa Spiridonovka is worth seeing purely for its raspberry-pink Art Nouveau decor. Leo Tolstoy admirers should head to the wonderfully preserved Tolstoy Memorial Estate on ul. Lva Tolstogo 21 (Tues, Wed & Fri 10am–6pm, Thurs 1–9pm, Sat & Sun 11am–6pm; R200, student R60; Park Kultury) where the Tolstoy family lived after moving to Moscow from their country estate in 1881, and where the novelist wrote War and Peace . The Bulgakov Museum at Bolshaya Sadovaya ul. 10 (Sun–Thurs 1–11pm, Fri & Sat until 1am; free; t 495/970-0619; Mayakovskaya), is the house where the novelist lived from 1921 to 1924. There are nightly tours (1–6am; R550; phone a week in advance for tour in English).

The Museum of Modern History at Tverskaya ul. 21 (Tues, Wed, Fri 10am–6pm, Thurs & Sat 11am–7pm, Sun 10am–5pm, closed last Fri of the month; R100; Tverskaya) brings the Communist past alive with striking displays of Soviet propaganda posters, photographs and state gifts, although there’s a frustrating lack of English translation.

Opposite the entrance to Gorky Park at Krymskiy Val 10, the New Tretyakov Gallery (Tues–Sun 10am–7.30pm; R360, student R220; Park Kultury) takes a breakneck gallop through twentieth-century Russian art, from the avant-garde of the 1910–1920s to contemporary artists. Full and illuminating commentary in English is a bonus.

A cluster of shining domes above a fortified rampart belongs to the lovely Novodevichiy Convent (daily 10am–5pm; closed Tues & last Mon of month; R150; Sportivnaya), founded by Ivan the Terrible in 1524. At its heart stands the white Cathedral of the Virgin of Smolensk. In its cemetery lie numerous famous writers, musicians and artists, including Gogol, Chekhov, Stanislavsky, Bulgakov and Shostakovich.

One of Moscow’s most exclusive neighbourhoods, Patriarch’s Ponds is a pleasant spot (there’s actually just one pond) for a summer stroll or an ice-skate on its frozen waters in the depths of winter. The area is also known for being the location of the opening scene of Mikhail Bulgakov’s magical realist novel The Master and Margarita .

Founded in 1898 in honour of the famous Russian poet, the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts at Volkhonka ul. 12 (Tues–Sun 10am–7pm; R150–300, separate fee for Impressionist wing; Kropotkinskaya) holds a hefty collection of European paintings , from Italian High Renaissance works to Rembrandt, and an outstanding display of Impressionist works.

Get the city grit out of your skin at the exquisitely elaborate Sandunovsky baths (Neglinnaya ul. 14 bldg 3–7 w www.sanduny.ru ; Teatralnaya), patronized by Muscovites since 1896. Join Russian businessmen and socialites in the banya , a wooden hut heated with a furnace, where you are invited to sweat out impurities, get beaten energetically with birch twigs, and finally plunge into ice-cold water. Men’s and women’s baths are separate, with the women’s section more like a modern spa. A three-hour session costs R1000. Daily 8am–10pm.

Founded in 1892 by the financier Pavel Tretyakov, the Tretyakov Gallery at Lavrushinskiy per. 10 (Tues–Sun 10am–7.30pm; R360, student R220; Tretyakovskaya) displays an outstanding collection of pre-Revolutionary Russian art. Russian icons are magnificently displayed, and the exhibition continues through to the late nineteenth century, with the politically charged canvases of the iconic realist Ilya Repin and the Impressionist portraits of Valentin Serov, including The Girl with Peaches , one of the gallery’s masterpieces.

To see Soviet triumphalism at its most prolific, visit the Exhibition of Economic Achievements, or VDNKh (Prospekt Mira; VDNK/Prospekt Mira), with its statue upon statue of ordinary workers in heroic poses. Adding to the scene is the permanent trade-fair-cum-shopping-centre housed in the grandiose Stalinist architecture of the All-Union Agricultural Exhibition of 1939, and the People’s Friendship Fountain, flanked by Soviet maidens, each symbolizing a Soviet republic. One of the most hubristic Soviet monuments ever built is the Space Obelisk , which bears witness to Soviet designs on the stratosphere. Unveiled in 1964 – three years after Gagarin orbited the earth – it’s a sculpture of a rocket blasting nearly 100m into the sky on a plume of energy clad in shining titanium. Moscow’s giant Ferris wheel, small amusement park and numerous food vendors help to create a fairground-like atmosphere. For a fantastic view over the VDNK, take the lift to the 25th floor of Hotel Cosmos across Prospekt Mira.

Getting to Moscow by plane is the most comfortable, quickest and cheapest way . Moscow has several international airports that connect the city with almost every corner of the world, and with some budget airlines operating flights there from London, you can often find an economical option. If you're flying from elsewhere in the UK, you'll probably have to make a stop in another European city on the way. Domodedovo international airport (dme), sheremetyevo international airport (svo), vnukovo international airport (vko), getting to moscow by train.

A popular way to travel around Russia is by train , especially by the famous Trans-Siberian or Trans-Mongolian Railways. Moscow has a number of important train stations including  Leningradsky , with trains to Saint Petersburg; Kazansky , for trains to Central Asia; and Yaroslavsky , from where trains depart for Siberia, Mongolia and China.

If you're travelling from St Petersburg , you can reach Moscow by train in about 9 hours, but if you're short on time, it's best to take one of the fast trains which connect the two cities in less than 4 hours for around ₽ 3,500 ( US$ 37.90).

Absolutely terrible company DO NOT BOOK THROUGH TRUSTED TRAVEL! I booked airport parking in Manchester, arrived at the parking at 2am and was told the car park was full so I couldn't park. I then had to pay £120 for other airprot parking! I had NO communication from trusted travel, NO compensation offered and despite multiple emails I have had NO REFUND despite them telling me it has been issued! Absolutely unbelievably poor service. If I could give 0 stars then I would!

AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!!! Booked car parking several weeks ago to be told upon arrival that the company had not paid its bills and had ceased trading at midnight!! Not even a recognition of my booking! No email from Trusted Travel to forewarn the forthcoming predicament. Will we get our money back from this cowboy scam of a company, I highly doubt it!

Do not use this company! SCAM Alert

Do not use this company! It is running a scam, taking payments from customers but not passing the bookings or payments on to the actual car park operators. I arrived at the Wythenshawe multi-story to be told that I had no reservation and had to pay again. There were two other Trusted Travel 'customers' in the same boat. The only means of contacting the company is by email and you get no response. My credit card company has, thankfully, reimbursed my payment. There must be hundreds, if not thousands of people being scammed by Trusted Travel Ltd. Any positive comments on this review site are probably fake.

Not trusted travel

We booked with these in Manchester and when we arrived we found it was a different company! They looked at the booking reference and said yep these guys don’t exist but you can pay us to park not sure if it’s a scam and they make you pay twice knowing you’re desperate or the new guys have took over mad are genuine. They were very helpful and efficient. I’ve contacted trusted travel by email but no reply

Awful scam artists! upon arrival at the car park, I was informed that my reservation had not been paid by trusted travel which necessitated me to pay for the parking again directly at the car park luckily they had space for us as we were told by staff at the car park they had been turning people away

Booked via website for newcastle Airport. On return from our holiday put the parking ticket into the machine barrier would not open and was asking for £124. The parking attendant was very helpful showed me the booking on the computer which had been cancelled by trusted travel, we had to pay so we could get home. I had emailed many times attaching confirmation but no reply. I got the address from the web site and sent a letter to be signed for my letter has been returned as they are no longer at that address. DONT NOT USE THIS COMPANY

WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! we recently booked airport car parking at Manchester Airport with so called "Trusted" Travel and had various email confirmations from them. When we arrived at the car park reception we were informed that "Trusted" Travel had withdrawn its contract with the car park and the booking was invalid, so we had to pay an extra £66 to park there. Despite several emails to claim our refund, we have not heard anything from "Trusted" Travel and from previous reviews I don't expect that we will hear back from them. I am in the process of finding other ways to reclaim our money. This appears to be a company that is the complete opposite of its name. BEWARE!!

This veteran will never use again or refer to anyone else

Very nice and friendly when leaving the car and departing but the arrival was a different story! Made us wait over an hour to pick us up before hearing the guy in the background on the phone say “just tell them to get a damn taxi”, which we subsequently did and then just threw £10 in my face and my keys when I got there with a “see ya later!” And off he went before I could even tell him the taxi was £15…the car park was only 7mins drive away and waited nearly hour and half! Awful customer service

No phone number to call, I emailed several times, I only wanted to move by booking by 2 hours! I've had to reebok elsewhere and am now out of pocket and going by other reviews, don't hold out any hope of a refund. Do not use this company.

Thieves Trusted Travel have taken my money for two bookings, cancelled the bookings, not notified me, no refunds and no response to my emails. Basically taken my money fir a service they have failed to provide. Only found out that my booking had been cancelled when I arrived at the airport car park where I was told I would have to pay a second time to Careparks - Toad Manchester.

Booked them for parking at Manchester Airport when I got there was told I couldn't park there and I should have had email giving me alternative parking which I didn't. Tried to get a refund but it still hasn't come. 27/10/23 still no refund now taking legal action.

If you have booked with these agents contact the end company ASAP

Went on holiday for 2 weeks, arrived back 21.30 last night and as outlined in the booking confirmation phoned the company, Park Inn, who had our car to tell them we had landed after 13 hours in transit. We were then told the agent, Trusted Travel, had not passed on the funds that we had paid them and in fact owed them over £20k in bookings and needed us to pay directly then claim the money back. These guys have still been taking bookings up until the last 2 weeks even though they haven't paid their bills in weeks. All providers seem to have taken themselves off their site now however. Disgusting business practise that will have stressed out and cost a lot of people more money than budgeted. Thankfully paid using a credit card and have been able to claim the money back successfully today.

Do not use this company

Do not use this company! Paid for car parking at Liverpool Airport. Had Terrible issues trying to get hold of them to amend the booking which should have been a red flag but they clearly seen my emails and adjusted the drop off time as requested. However, what they failed to tell us was that our booking was not valid! They have taken our money and not actually booked the parking. We arrived today to be told that they no longer accept bookings from trusted travel as they owe them £££. We've had to pay again directly.

Not what you would expect still…

Not what you would expect still awaiting my money back I’ve been to the office today knowone in and I will be back !! not where they say they are so avoid these ppl if I were you or you will have a head ache the man you nead to speak to is mr Peter Oliver brooks and the office is in Kirkham

Made a booking, but due to unforeseen circumstances, had to cancel it within 24hrs on 12th September. A full refund was offered within 5-10 working days, but now two months passed, no refunds made and not responding to email reminders. Telephone enquiries redirects to email option.

Turned up at airport parking trusted travel not paid company

Turned up at airport parking, trusted travel had not paid there bill so I had to pay again. Tried to make contact numerous times but no reply. Trusted travel are obtaining money by deception and continue to do so. Do not book with them

AVOID AT ALL COST

Booked in 2 cars, booking states free cancellation, when we tried to cancel booking online it says we couldn’t and we had to contact customer service. Many attempts to email support with only 2 responses from several emails sent. They responded to say they had cancelled our booking and refunded, 3 weeks later still no refund and the latest and last response was “I am sorry I am waiting for the finance team to sort this issue for you, I personally have no access to the bank” this was a week ago and I’ve had no response since. I have now taken this matter to trading standards. I notice I’m not the only one with issues. Please DON’T book with this company.

Rejse til Maiori på Amalfikysten

Første rejse med Best Travel. Alt forløb som planlagt. blev oven i købet kontaktet af bureauet pr. telefon før afrejse, for at høre om vi var i tvivl om noget. Hotellet, måltider og øvrige arrangementer var virkelig gode. Rejselederen var fremragende, dygtig og vidende og med god humor. Vedr. rejsemålet skal man forvente masser af trapper og lign., der er meget kuperet.

En helt igennem oplevelsesrig tur til Maiori med en fantastisk vidende og inspirerende dansk rejseleder. Ville ikke have undværet nogle af udflugterne. Alle super gode. Havde vejret bare været lidt mere med os var det en helt perfekt tur.

En rejse til Madeira med Best Travel…

En rejse til Madeira med Best Travel var en fin oplevelse. Vi rejste 9.-16. april 2024. Velbeliggende hotel, der dog havde lidt udfordringer med at servere morgenmad til mange gæster. Fine udflugter med en rejseleder, der vidste meget om øen. Han boede der selv og havde gjort det gennem nogle år. At vejret så viste sig fra sin allerbedste side var jo et ekstra plus.

Vi havde en dejlig ferie til Amalfikysten med Best Travel. Bestillingen via Best Travels hjemmeside var uden problemer. Vores rejseleder var virkelig god til at fortælle og havde styr på alting. Vi havde en fantastisk tur til Madeira, dejlige udflugter med Jens Poulsen, han var meget forberedt, nok den bedste guide vi har haft. Hotellet lå meget centralt og et fint hotel. Det er ikke sidste gang vi rejser med Best Travel.

Havde en fantastisk tur til Rom i…

Havde en fantastisk tur til Rom i påsken. De har en fantastisk kundeservice både før og under turen. De havde et godt program med byture og en tur uden for Rom. Vores guide Bente, var fuldstænding fantastisk. Havde en enorm viden om Rom og Italien i det hele taget. Selvfølgelig har oplevelsen også at gøre med de andre feriegæster, og da både rejsebureau, rejseleder og gæster fungerede sammen og hver for sig, gjorde det at det var en uforglemmelig ferie.

Hotel Benalmadina Palace er meget…

Hotel Benalmadina Palace er meget velfungerende. Navnlig personalet i spisesalen er meget effektive. Hotellets beliggenhed er ikke optimal, da det ikke ligger nær kystbanestation. Især for dem, der tager ud hverdag, har dette stor betydning. Busserne er ofte overfyldt, når de kommer her. Især bussen til Mijas kan være svær at få plads i.

Fantastisk tur til Madeira med Best Travel.

Vi rejste med Best Travel til Madeira, den første uge i april 2024. Vi fløj fra Ålborg Lufthavn med Norwegian, Ved ankomsten til Funchal blev bagagen kørt direkte til hotellet i en mindre bil, sikke en service. Vi blev modtaget af vores guide Jens Poulsen, derefter blev vi kørt til hotel Windsor og indkvarteret, og fik alle de informationer, vi havde brug for. Hotellet lå i centrum af byen, så der var let adgang til alt. Værelse var ikke så stort, med alt var som lovet, pænt og rent, dejlige hårde madrasser og ok morgenmad. Vi var i alt 27 personer samlet fra hele Jylland, og vi var landet i et hyggeligt selskab. Vi var på dejlige udflugter, som spændte bredt, lige fra byen, markedet, og til høje bjerge med en flot natur, småbyer med unikke ting og oplevelser, flot kørt af vores gode chauffør ROY, og kommenteret af vores dygtige rejseleder Jens Poulsen. Jens er nok en af de dygtigste guider, vi har mødt på vore mange rejser. Tjek på alting, præcis i sin fortælling, blandet med humor og ironi, og han er samtidig en rigtig dygtig og serviceminded person. Albuferia portugal

Albuferia i Portugal er et dejligt sted,væk fra den danske vinter/mørke,men guiden var dårligt oplært,den første uge ingen aktiviteter/ture,han sagde han ikke havde været der før og derfor ikke kunne svare på noget,hans familie kom efter en uge. Heldigvis var der en god hjælpsom receptionen på hotellet og de kendte jo området.

Rovos Rail, Zimbabwe og Sydafrika

Vi havde en fantastisk tur til Zimbabwe og Sydafrika , alt forløb efter planen, og Anja var en dygtig og engageret rejseleder. Dog skulle hotellet i Cape Town have ligget ved Waterfront, og ikke i et industrikvarter.

Tenerife uge 10 Forvirrende uge… kom på tur kl14.30 til kl 20. Kom på hotel i mørke! Teide tur,,, efter en store frokost skulle vi, mætte og trætte, vandre på toppen af bjerget! Selvbetalende tur til Anaga var en katastrofe…. Guiden gad ikke ,, Men ellers ok,,, god mad ,,,ok hotel
