The cooling fan pulls air through the radiator when the engine is idling and air is not passing through the grille. This helps cool hot antifreeze so the engine doesn't overheat. Cooling fans are often activated by the computer to turn them on and off as needed, and may also be signaled by the coolant temperature sensor to ensure that operating temperature is maintained. Depending on your vehicle's make and model, you may have a single electric cooling fan that cools both the radiator and the A/C condenser, or dual fans with a dedicated fan that only operates when the A/C is running. With age and use, the cooling fan motor may wear out or fail electronically, causing overheating or warm air from the A/C system. If your vehicle has an active temperature warning light or a Check Engine light that indicates a problem with the cooling system, you may need to repair or replace your cooling fan. 1999 Plymouth Voyager

I have this 1999 Plymouth Voyager that's been giving me some problems lately. It's been an awesome vehicle and I'd hate to get rid of it. Anyway, the problems it's been having: Sometimes it won't turn over (It'll crank all day, just not catch). Sometimes, it'll start right up; Cruise Control won't engage. Light comes on, but it won't actually work The engine has at times idled WAY to high/almost stalled. The gas pedal almost feels like it doesn't really work. Push it down 1/2 way for like 1/4 throttle it seems. And the biggie...since all this started, the Tranny has acted really oddly. Won't shift properly at times, downshifting when it shouldn't be, won't shift up when it should, etc etc. Also pulled two codes from the engine, an P0123 and a P0121, and these indicate TPS issues (Sensor Faulty and Circuit Voltage High). As an aside, I also used a Scangauge II to check the TPS, and it was ~19 when not touched and ~78 when the pedal was at the floor (this was tested with Engine Off, Run position). Would this just be a faulty TPS, crap wiring, or something like it? If so, how hard is the TPS and/or the wiring to it to replace?
Think the cruise control issue is the pipe that controls it at the throttle body... Will try upload pics later on, is your fluid level in tranny ok? What colour is the fluid?
