Bangkok To Bali: Thailand & Indonesia

bali and thailand tour package

This Thailand and Bali 21-day itinerary will take you on the holiday of a lifetime incorporating a river cruise and a sea cruise, as well as temple tours, a floating market experience, a spiritual purification ritual and the opportunity to meet indigenous hilltribes, sea gypsies and boatbuilders. You’ll go snorkeling with gentle whale sharks, sea turtles and giant manta rays, and you will encounter Indonesia’s legendary Komodo dragons.

Your Thailand tour

Visit a century-old floating market, before stepping aboard a luxurious river barge to feast on gourmet cuisine while discovering Bangkok’s rich past through temples and palaces, as well as the ancient ruins of the grand complex of Ayutthaya. Delve into the temples of Chiang Mai on the next leg of your vacation to Thailand and Indonesia, and immerse yourself in the fascinating culture of the traditional hill tribe villages.

Your Bali tour

After flying from Bangkok to Bali, the next part of your journey begins with a tour of some of Bali’s most iconic temples and spectacular rice terraces. Experience the magic of a spiritual journey with a cleansing ritual and a guided meditation session conducted by a Hindu priest. Relish a very special lunch in a blissful setting in the rice fields, enjoy a tour of East Bali and relax beachside.

Your Indonesian cruise adventure

Embark on an unforgettable sea cruise, which will take you through gorgeous scenery and a panorama of islands, exploring quiet coastal villages, waterfall-fed river pools, volcanic islands, a mysterious crater lake, a boatbuilding community, and the Komodo National Park. Gently trek through river valleys or ascend savannah-wrapped hills offering dazzling views of jungle-clad mountain ranges and towering volcanoes. Witness the astonishing sight of hundreds of thousands of flying foxes emerging in a steady throng from the forest at dusk, and encounter Indonesia’s living dinosaurs, the awe-inspiring, giant lizards known as Komodo dragons. Unlimited use of stand-up paddleboards and sea kayaks adds yet another dimension to your nature explorations.

At the end of your cruise, an uninhabited island will beckon you ashore for a quintessential, toes-in-the-sand, celebration under the stars, complete with a bonfire, barbeque, and dancing to songs and music performed by the ship’s crew. Please note, the Ombak Putih is only available during certain seasons, and at other times a different vessel may be proposed.

Transfer to the island of Java to watch the sunrise over the spectacular Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park and its smoke-spewing volcanoes. Cross the desert-like sea of sand of the ancient caldera and up a steep staircase to the crater rim of Mt Bromo, and peer into the smoking darkness below – the veritable gates of hell. Marvel at the seventh century Buddhist temple of Borobudur, one of Indonesia’s most important archaeological sites, and explore the historic and cultural city of Jogjakarta, which is known for its wonderful arts and is still headed by a sultan. Wander through the Sultan’s ‘kraton’ (walled city palace), which remains the hub of traditional life, as well as the Taman Sari water palace and the city market.

This Bangkok, Bali and Beyond tour makes for the most perfect honeymoon. Please note this is just a sample itinerary that can be tailored in accordance with your personal wishes.

Always crowded with hundreds of sellers, buyers, and tourists, the best way to experience the bustling atmosphere of the market up close is to board a boat and float through the small canals, shopping away.

Hill Tribes Encounters

North Thailand is famous for its colorful hill tribes. Drive out of Chiang Rai to Mae Chan district and continue uphill along narrow mountain roads to visit the simple Akha and Yao hill tribe villages.

The Akha, who originated in Tibet, are amongst the poorest of Thailand’s ethnic minorities and can also be found in the northern part of Laos. They are mainly farmers and known for their artistry.

The Yao, whose origins are in China, is heavily influenced by Chinese traditions, still using Chinese characters in the writing of their language. The two minorities live peacefully close to each other.

Back to the hotel in the afternoon, evening at leisure. Don’t miss out on the Thai Spa treatments!

Founded in 1262 AD, Thailand’s most northern city boasts a fascinating architectural history in a mix of Thai and Burmese styles.

Visit Wat Rong Khun, which is different from any other temple in Thailand. In contrast to the ancient temples, this temple was built in 1997 and was designed using white glass. While traveling through the city, observe the influence of the city’s Chinese ethnic minorities.

Spiritual Journey Through Time

Today we journey to Pakerisan Valley, an 8th Century World Heritage site and the birthplace of the Hindu Darma religion, to uncover the historical religious roots of modern-day Bali.

The day starts with a short visit to the very first Hindu temple in Bali, encircled by a small village that grew around this sacred structure. Here we meet our guide for the day, an experienced researcher of Balinese spiritualism who will lead us to a temple nestled in the jungle. He will describe how people connect with God through the temple and demonstrate how to open your mind to the spiritual world.

Next, Tirtha Mengening, a very small temple located next to Holy Spring-fed pools. Tirtha Mengening roughly translates into “child waters” and offers a cleansing purification ritual conducted by a Balinese priest.

After the ceremony, take a plunge into the cool spring waters of a gentle river, shaded by a large tree. Soak in the serene atmosphere, for this temple is seldom visited by tourists despite being one of the most sacred in the region.

Lunch at a special place, surrounded by lush rice fields still grown from the original species of rice brought by the first Hindu priests in the 8th Century. After lunch, there is an opportunity to visit the priest’s house where he will guide us in quiet meditation.

Return to your hotel in the late afternoon and enjoy your evening at leisure!

Visit to a Volcano

With its huge crater and almost mystical-like scenery in all directions, Mount Bromo and its surroundings are stunning beyond question.

Sunrise is the most magical time to view the entire Bromo landscape but this does involve a very early morning start of 3 am as you travel by private 4WD-jeep from Plataran Bromo to the rim of Mount Penanjakan in time for dawn.

From here at 2,770 meters above sea level you will enjoy unobstructed ethereal views over the active Bromo crater and the Tengger massif with the towering Mount Semeru as a backdrop, at 3,676 meters Java’s highest mountain and one of the most active volcanoes in Indonesia with small eruptions happening approximately every 20 minutes.

After (hopefully) witnessing a spectacular sunrise, you will return to your jeep and descend the steep slopes back down to the bottom of the Tengger Caldera until you reach a verdant savannah – a truly idyllic setting for an al fresco breakfast. A picnic blanket laid out on the grass awaits you to enjoy a delicious breakfast while you take in nature’s epic beauty and the magical landscape of the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park.

Next drive back to Mt. Bromo. A short walk and a 250 steps climb (or a horseback ride at extra cost) will bring you to the rim of the crater. It is definitely worth the effort and will reward you with yet more incredible vistas of the active crater.

Return to your hotel for a full breakfast buffet and relax.

In the afternoon drive back to the airport for the short flight to the lovely town of Yogyakarta.

Borobudur and Yogya Old Town

Depart in the morning to visit Borobudur, 42km west of Jogjakarta. With your guide on hand, explore this massive Buddhist Temple (the largest in the world) and discover the incredible history behind its construction.

Comprised of thousands of volcanic and river stone blocks, the temple was assembled entirely by human labor and took more than 75 years to complete. The UNESCO Heritage site is still visible in its full glory, with magnificent carvings and its unusual bulky structure.

Take a short trip from Borobudur to visit the nearby Mendut temple. Older than Borobudur, this pyramid-shaped temple houses three impressively carved stone statues. You’ll also visit Pawon temple, a simple yet beautiful monument known for its precise symmetry.

After lunch at a local restaurant, return to Jogjakarta and explore the old town, visiting the Sultan’s palace, Taman Sari castle, and the bird market. Venture on to the ancient Hindu temples at Prambanan, located 17km outside Jogjakarta.

Built in the 9th century, this collection of sharp, jagged temples features three main inner shrines dedicated to the Hindu trinity: Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. Listed as a UNESCO Heritage Site in 1991, let your guide expertly lead you through the history and ancient symbolism of these wondrous ruins.

Wanderlands Bali & Lombok - 13 Days

We really appreciate the organisation of the tour. The transfers always were on time, so there wasn‘t any waiting time. Our group leader Stacia was very kind and experienced. We could ask her anything and she helped us out at anytime. The surfing class and a visit of the coffee plantation were my favourite activities, although there were a lot more awesome experiences, such as the scuba diving that we booked additional. All in all, we would recommend the Bali tour by Wanderlands. Enjoy your trip!

Best tour ever! Great itinerary, great activities, although I think you can cut a day from Kuta and add one day to Gili Our guide, Aggy, was more than we could expect! She was always taking care of us, happy to answer all our questions about the tour, about the Indonesian culture and she told us so many interesting things about Balinese people that we couldn't knew otherways, always with a sweet smile on her face. She was always there for us whenever we needed her, although she had a different accommodation than us, which I don't approve... the tour guide should definitely have the same accommodation. She was very caring and open, she made sure that we have the best time in Bali but never forgot to remember us to stay safe and remember us what we should or shouldn't do.

Amazing trip to Bali with Bali Bucket List! Had a group of 7 girls all from the UK. Hotels were amazing, all clean and what you’d expect from the boutique tour. Range of activities on the tour was good, highlights were snorkelling with turtles and Mt Batur. Our guide Andy was great, always happy to help and answer any questions. All round incredible holiday!

Bali Tour & Tour Packages Reviews

The best tour we could book to discover Bali. We visited all the sights worth seeing (Nusa Penida, Gili T, waterfall...) , did all the fun activities (surfing, snorkeling, monkey forest, etc) and learned a lot about balinese culture. Everything was well organized and went smooth. All the guides and instructors were real pros. Our tour guide, Josh did his best to inform us about everything in time and took care of our needs. We could always rely on him for advice and having a good time.
The Trip was alright. I was in a nice group and my group leader Stacia did a great job! Always high energy and good mood! To Wanderlands program: I feel like I paid a bit too much for the activities we did. We got great accommodation though and the transport from place to place was covered, but the least I expect is to finish the trip at the place we started, which is the Bali.
This was the best holiday I’ve ever been on. Everyday had something new to try. Snorkelling with clear warm waters, beautiful multicoloured fish, colourful coral and very chilled turtles was one of the many highlights. After trekking to the top of mount Batur to see the sunrise (which felt peaceful and was awe-inspired), we were greeted with Balinese coffee and the best ever toasted banana sandwich- I don’t think I’ll eat a better breakfast than this. I would definitely recommend trying the deep fried banana we were offered at the base of mountain prior to trekking up- the batter was perfect- crispy crunchy and light. The scenery throughout the trip was amazing, beaches, mountains, sunrises, sunsets, turquoise water with white sand. We traveled through the lush forests in Ubud monkey sanctuary and en-route to a viewpoint at Nusa Penida. The food was delicious- after cooking some amazing food from scratch at the Balinese cooking class we were given a recipe book to take home and I’m currently working my way through the recipes trying to create the perfect balance of lemongrass, chilli, ginger and turmeric to recreate the Balinese flavours. The accommodation was fantastic, I really feel for the money I paid I got a boutique experience. The only negative experience was of a very bumpy boat ride and the surfing just wasn’t for me. I was blessed with both my/our guide Alex- who was fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us and made the experience truly magical, and blessed with my fellow travellers who I was grateful to share the Bali experience with.

Bangkok to Bali

28 days | embark on a dazzling south east asian odyssey..

bali and thailand tour package

South East Asia is brimming with colourful cities, picturesque coastline and delicious regional cuisine, and on this 28-day grand adventure from Bangkok to Ubud, discover all of its hotspots and hidden gems. Through Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, the scale and quality of experiences you’ll have in these magical countries will make for a truly memorable journey. From Ao Nang to Mt Bromo, Yogyakarta to Khao Sok National Park, and the pulsating cities of Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta, you’ll get the essential run-down of the region’s best. Golden temples and saffron-robed monks, soft white sand beaches and bright blue skies, tantalising seafood and a host of shopping spots, this small-group adventure is hard to boot.

Trip overview

  • Discover a different side of Kuala Lumpur – away from the skyscrapers – on a half-day street food tour through the alleyways, uncovering flavours you need to be a local to know.
  • Dive into a nature lover’s paradise at Khao Sok National Park, exploring, hiking, relaxing, and cruising by longtail boat on a limestone cliff-circled lake.
  • Find a slice of paradise on an included sea kayaking trip through the stunning inlets, caves and hidden lagoons of the Ao Thalane mangrove forests.
  • Climbing Mt Bromo in the early hours of the morning is an adventure to remember. If the conditions are right, you'll be rewarded with a dazzling sunset over mist-laden volcanoes.
  • Get behind the scenes of some of Java's fascinating local industries – from coffee, cocoa and palm sugar to traditional Javanese medicine.
  • This trip includes walking, hiking, cycling and kayaking. Whilst most of these activities will not require training or much previous experience, a moderate level of fitness will help you to get the most out of this trip.
  • You’ll get to travel overland through multiple countries on this trip, which means that there are some longer travelling days on public and private buses – as well as an overnight train – but it also offers a great chance to interact with your fellow travellers, soak up the scenery, catch up on some podcasts or write in your travel journal.
  • Part of travelling with Intrepid means respecting local cultures and sensibilities. That way you get the most out of your interactions with local people and environments. Dress standards in most of Java, Indonesia, are more conservative than other areas of Asia. Conservative dress is also recommended for this portion of the trip. Please refer to the 'What to Take' section of the Essential Trip Information for more details.
  • Accommodation at Seloliman Nature Reserve and near Mt Bromo is in basic guesthouses. Set on the edge of a tropical forest the Seloliman Reserve embraces philosophies of environmental education, and we are sure you will get a good night’s sleep. The next night close to the base Mt Bromo, the guesthouse is selected for its location. The stay is short, as you’ll wake very early the next day for a sunrise hike.

Bangkok has so much to offer those with time to explore, so perhaps arrive a day or so early and take a riverboat to Chinatown and explore the crowded streets, uncover the magnificent Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, wander down the tourist mecca of Khao San Road, or indulge in some Thai massage. After the meeting tonight perhaps gather your fellow travellers together and tuck into some into world famous street food.

Begin the day with a river cruise down the Chao Phraya River to explore the famous ‘khlongs’ (canals) (approximately 1 hour). Life along these canals seems a world away from the chaotic streets of the capital. Pay a visit to Wat Pho, one of the Bangkok temples, with a 46-metre-long gold-plated Buddha reclining inside. Even the feet of this statue are incredible, three metres long and intricately decorated with mother of pearl. The temple grounds are equally fascinating, filled with beautifully decorated stupas, halls, and shrines. No trip to Thailand is complete without an overnight train journey and this evening you’ll head south to Surat Thani, accommodated in air-conditioned sleeping berths (approximately 12 hours). Travel through pristine jungle, rubber and oil plantations before boarding a long tail boat for a ride across stunning Cheow Lan Lake, with one of its islands as your destination. With limestone karst hills rising almost 1000 metres into the air and surrounded by beautiful green waters, the area is incredibly picturesque. Trek to an island cave and discover its eerie stalactites and bats hanging from the ceiling, with subterranean streams at your feet. You’ll enjoy lunch in a local raft-house before having free time to relax, swim or kayak around the lake to search for wildlife – the water is clear and teems with aquatic life, and you might spot hornbills, langurs, macaques or gibbons above water. Return to your accommodation for the night.

Head to Ao Nang in a private minivan (approximately 3 hours). On the way, stop at Baan Bor Tor and embarking on a sea kayaking journey. About halfway along the coast between Than Bok Khoranee and Krabi town is a bay of mangroves that might just be the most beautiful bay in Thailand. Surrounded by towering karst formations and many small offshore islands, let the waterways become your pathway as you move slowly through the bays and canyons, discover inlets, caves and hidden lagoons, and check out the local wildlife up-close – the birds overhead and monkeys in the trees. If you do see a monkey, make sure you secure your belongings and any food! Arrive at Ao Nang late afternoon, and enjoy a free evening.

  • Ao Nang - Baan Bor Tor sea kayaking
  • Ao Nang - sea kayaking lunch

Your included sea kayaking trip in Krabi is in double kayaks. The water is usually calm through the beautiful mangrove forests, but you will need to be a confident swimmer to take part.

Famous for the incredible limestone karst scenery of the headland, sun-seekers will fall in love with Krabi's unspoilt beaches, the spectacular cliffs will tempt avid rock climbers, while scuba fans can embark on a Krabi diving adventure. If you love getting out on the water and exploring islands, then consider taking a trip by boat to explore Phi Phi and Khai Nok, islands surrounded by white sandy beach perfect for swimming and snorkelling. The area around Krabi is also home to some of the most spectacular climbing routes around. Whether you're a novice or a pro, being securely tied high up a limestone cliff-face looking down on jungle and crystalline seas is unforgettable. In the evening, look out for a beautiful sunset and consider dining on seafood in a beachside restaurant, followed by a drink in one of the many clubs and bars along on the beach.

The journey by private minibus sees you say goodbye to Thailand and wave hello to the cultural melting pot of Malaysia. The fascinating island of Penang was the first destination of the colonial British in 1786. They invited the Chinese, as well as others from all over Asia, to live on this island in the tropics. Today, this exotic fusion of cultures still exists and the World Heritage site of Georgetown contains a fascinating mix of religious places of worship. When you arrive, you’ll take an orientation walk around the blend of colonial buildings, tumble-down shops and hawker-filled alleyways to get your bearings. The food here might just be the best in Malaysia, so seek out some food stalls with your leader, and get a taste of this food paradise on an included Hawker food tour. Sample some local specialties such as Nasi Kandar, Penang Laksa, and Char Kway Teow.

  • Penang - Hawker food experience

Today's driving will be about 7 hours including border crossing and breaks

This morning you’ll take a half-day sightseeing walking tour around Penang and Georgetown, soaking up the relaxed pace of life and the mix of cultures on show in this heritage area. See the original 19th century shophouses, the street markets, and the strong cultural and religious identity still on display in each neighbourhood – Little India, Chinatown or the Muslim Quarter. Check out the street art that adorns the walls and stop by a clan jetty. Clans were formed by 19th century immigrants, banding together based on the area of China that they came from, and they built rival waterfront societies on wooden jetties. You’ll also pay a visit to Thai and Burmese temples, and see Kek Lok Si Temple, the largest Buddhist temple in South East Asia. You’ll have this afternoon free and, aside from sauntering along the interesting streets (or hoping in a trishaw for a ride that will take you back in time), you might want to see the clan house of Khoo Kongsi. Check out the ornate carvings on the walls, roof and pillars, and maybe see more Chinese architecture in the memorably blue Courtyard House of Cheong Fatt Tze, a fabulously wealthy merchant. Don’t forget to feast on the island’s culinary delights tonight.

Continue south on a local bus to Kuala Lumpur (approximately 5 hours). This is a great opportunity to try and chat with the locals and maybe get some tips out of them for your next destination. Kuala Lumpur, the cosmopolitan capital of Malaysia, is affectionately known as KL and you'll almost always hear locals refer to it by its acronym. Communities of Indian, Chinese and ethnic Malay people mingle peacefully, allowing travellers to get the best of all three worlds. KL has grown from a sleepy little village to a skyscraper-lined multi-million-peopled metropolis. The city can seem vast, but the main focus is the traditional core of the old town (the former colonial centre), the luxury hotel and shopping mall district of the Golden Triangle, and bustling Chinatown and Little India. Follow your leader on an orientation walk near the hotel and in the evening follow the Bukit Bintang Walkway and see the Petronas Twin Towers lit at night. You’ll be incredibly spoilt with the breadth and quality of dining options on offer. From simple-street side fare that attracts queues of customers eager to try the latest dish said to be the best around, to seriously high-calibre, world-class cuisine.

  • Kuala Lumpur – Leader-led orientation walk

Enjoy a free day today for your own exploration! Perhaps visit the National Monument (commemorating those who died in Malaysia's struggle for freedom and based on the Iwo Jima Memorial in the USA), the vast National Mosque, featuring a bold and modern design, or the Istana Negara (National Palace). You might like stroll Dataran Merdeka (Independence Square), or shop in Suria KLCC (one of Malaysia’s premier shopping destinations) and then head up to the Skybridge & Observation Deck of the iconic Petronas Towers to gain another view on this cosmopolitan city. Lake Gardens is home to a number of sights, including the National Planetarium and the superb Islamic Arts Museum. Or if you are more active, you may like to join a bike tour and cycle through the history and modern life of KL. In the evening you may wan to experience the multicultural mix of Malay, Chinese, and Indian cultures through sampling some of its best food. Walk around local neighbourhoods and visit local grocers and street vendors. Your leader will be on hand making suggestions to help you make the best of the day.

Transfer by local bus to the old port town of Melaka (approximately 3 hours). Back when Penang, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore left little impression on a map, the historic city of Melaka was the most important trading port in Malaysia, attracting Chinese, Indian, Dutch, Portuguese and British traders. These visitors sought wealth or an opportunity to control the Straits of Malacca, a vital trading route between the Indian and Pacific oceans, which lead to 400 years of colonial rule. Today, Melaka's wealth of historical sites reminds visitors of times gone by, and its multicultural past is revealed in its distinctive cuisine. Like Georgetown, the Melaka was declared a World Heritage Site in 2008, and like its Penang sibling, the city is a harmonic mix of cultures, a place where colonial buildings sit next to Chinese shophouses and temples.

Today you’ll get to know this port city better with a quaint trishaw tour along the narrow winding streets. You’ll admire Chinatown's unique Peranakan architecture, get a taste of old Melaka, and learn about the ancient spice trade. Take in sites such as Harmony Street (so called because it contains the prayer houses of Malaysia's three main faiths), and stop by a mosque, Chinese Buddhist Temples, and a traditional Muslim house-museum. In your free time this afternoon there are plenty of historic sights and museums to check out. From 17th century Dutch buildings and ships, to museums that showcase the local history of ethnic Chinese-Malays, the travels of diplomat and explorer Zheng He, and even a museum that focuses on concepts of beauty in different cultures. If you’re looking to get more active, then you could perhaps jump on two wheels for an Eco Bike tour around the city or see Melaka from a different perspective with a boat tour along the river.

Travel by local bus to the last stop on this incredible journey – Singapore (approximately 5 hours). Singapore has few areas untouched by modernisation, however wandering the streets of Little India and Chinatown is a great way to see the old parts of the city. To explore further, check out the renowned shopping precinct of Orchard Road, or stop by Raffles to experience the old world charm of a Singapore Sling. An evening in Singapore is not complete without a stroll along Clarke Quay, or even a river cruise to learn more about the fascinating history of this city. Your accommodation tonight is a centrally located hotel, perfect for easy exploring. Whatever you choose today, maybe gather together your fellow travellers for a celebratory drink or meal as your Bangkok to Singapore adventure comes to an end.

Some rooms in tonight’s accommodation are internal and do not have windows. Border crossing into Singapore can be slow, so some patience at the border would go a long way.

Take a short flight from Singapore to Jakarta to start the next part of your adventure. You will be unaccompanied on this flight. Arrive in time for a welcome meeting with your new leader and fellow travellers at 6pm. If you get in a little early why not check out some of Jakarta's interesting museums, such as the Wayang (puppetry), Balai Seni Rupa (fine arts) and maritime museums. The National Museum is great for first-time visitors. For a city monument, check out the Monas (National Monument) dedicated to the spirit of the Indonesian people.

As this is a combination trip, your group leader and the composition of your group may change at this location. There will be a group meeting to discuss the next stage of your itinerary and you're welcome to attend, as this is a great chance to meet your new fellow travellers.

Familiarise yourself with the city on a full-day tour with your local guide. Take in Sunda Kelapa port – where the Dutch first landed, temple-filled Chinatown and the old town of Batavia. See Si Jagur – an old Portuguese cannon ornately decorated with a disguised meaning. Visit a Chinese mansion (Chandra Naya) and gain an insight into the beautiful Peranakan architecture. Wander about Fatahillah Square, then explore the religious side of the city at Cathedral Church and Istiqlal Mosque – the largest mosque in South East Asia.

  • Jakarta - City tour

Today there's some distance to cover, so you will spend large chunk of the day travelling. Travel by train to Purwokerto City (approximately 5.5 hours), then take a private minibus to Pangandaran (approximately 3 hours). Pangandaran is a small fishing village popular with visitors looking for a coastal escape. The Penanjung Nature Reserve on the adjoining peninsula boasts some impressive flora and fauna, which you’ll see some of tomorrow!

Your day trip begins with a stop at a local market to check out the produce and home industries such as palm sugar and rice cracker production, as well as the famous Javanese wayang golek (traditional wooden puppets). Then you'll continue to the Green Canyon. Hop aboard your boat and travel upriver (approximately 30 minutes) through superb jungle scenery, before stopping for a swim up in the canyon itself. This spot, whose water is as green as its name suggests, is a popular hangout for locals, so take the opportunity to interact. Your day will take you to a nearby beach where you can have a break for lunch and swim in the afternoon before heading back to your accommodation.

  • Pangandaran - Green Canyon
  • Pangandaran - Village & cottage industries tour
  • Pangandaran - Guided trek in coastal reserve - IDR200000

Please note that, after times of heavy rain, the water runs brown rather than green. Weak swimmers are advised to continue wearing their life jackets for swimming in the Canyon.

Head inland by private minibus (approximately 1 hour) before catching a train to Yogyakarta (approximately 4 hours). This town is one of South East Asia's real gems. It's Java's cultural heart, has a great atmosphere and is an Intrepid favourite. From batik workshops to the nearby Hindu and Buddhist temples, Yogya offers a great array of cultural avenues to explore.

Rise early to catch the morning light and avoid the crowds at Candi Borobudur – the largest Buddhist structure on earth. This magnificent World Heritage-listed site is set in a tranquil park. As you approach, you'll see the enigmatic temple rise before you, looming amongst the tropical foliage. With your local guide, follow the route of ancient pilgrims, circling the mandala-shaped structure from the early realms towards Nirvana. It's truly one of South East Asia's treasures. Afterwards, enjoy an afternoon of free time. You might like to visit one of Yogya's other heritage temples – this time perhaps of the Hindu faith. Prambanan Temple is the largest Hindu complex in Java. This evening, perhaps catch a performance of the epic Ramayana Ballet – your leader will be able to check dates and availability for you.

  • Borobudur - Temple Tour

  • Yogyakarta - Silver jewellery making course - IDR300000

See the locals in this area making various goods, from bricks to tofu and tempe. As well as palms and lush green grasslands, you will see the odd burst of yellow and pink flowers by the side of the road, which make for great photo opportunities. This cycling tour is on relatively flat ground, so it won't be too strenuous. There will be ample time to take in all the interesting scenes of slow-paced local life. You will then have a free afternoon today and there are many activities for you to choose in Yogyakarta. Perhaps a cooking class to learn about Indonesian cuisine or salute to the sun with a yoga class – there is something for everyone!

  • Yogyakarta - Yoga Class - IDR60000

If you do not wish to cycle your leader can arrange a motorized becak. A small fee of IDR 100,000 will be required for this service and is paid for locally.

Travel by train (approximately 4.5 hours) before transferring on a minivan (approximately 1 hour) to Seloliman Nature Reserve. The peaceful Seloliman Nature Reserve is situated on the slopes of the sacred volcano of Mt Penanggungan. Meet some of the volunteers working at the Seloliman Environmental Education Centre and eat delicious, locally grown organic produce cooked by their staff. The centre's accommodation is atmospheric, even with open-air bathrooms built in harmony with the surrounding forest, so take this opportunity to relax. This is a beautiful spot to appreciate nature – be sure to sit under the stars tonight and take in the ambience of what’s around.

  • Guesthouse (1 night)
  • Seloliman Nature Reserve - Environmental Education Centre Visit
  • Seloliman Nature Reserve - Environmental Education Centre Lunch
  • Seloliman Nature Reserve - Environmental Education Centre Dinner

Please note our accommodation tonight is in basic bungalows, with very simple bathroom facilities. Due to the jungle location there are often many insects, so make sure you bring insect repellent.

Join reserve staff on a walk around the reserve, learning about the local environment and the Javanese tradition of herbal medicine (approximately 2.5 hours). You'll gain an insight into the region’s flora and fauna, traditional farming methods, rice production and the mini hydroelectricity plant. Finish up with a traditional jamu demonstration and a tasting of this Javanese herbal medicine. Continue on to Mt Bromo – the timeless homeland of the Tenggerese (approximately 4 hours). The still-active volcano – standing at 2329 metres – is the most well-known of the Tengger massif. This region is also the homeland of the Tenggerese and the steep, cultivated hills of the Tengger Valley. Retire early tonight in preparation for tomorrow's early start.

  • Seloliman Nature Reserve - Guided Walk & Herbal Drink Tasting

Your accommodation tonight is in villas and each villa has two 2 rooms with a shared lounge room and a shared bathroom.

Please note that the jeeps used on this day are not fitted with seat belts.

Your early start today (around 3 am) will be well worth it; trust us. First, drive to a lookout point in jeeps for sunrise over the sea of sands. If the weather is clear, the sunrise over this eerie sea of volcanoes is an unforgettable experience. Afterwards descend in your jeep to the sea of sands and climb up to the volcano crater to take a peek inside. The ascent is not too difficult (approximately 45 minutes), but it can be very cold, so don't forget to bring extra layers of clothing. It's also worth bringing a scarf to cover your nose and mouth, as it can get dusty. Return to the hotel to freshen up and then depart midmorning to Kalibaru in a private minivan (approximately 5.5 hours). You'll stop for lunch en route, then arrive in the afternoon, with time to relax by the pool or perhaps indulge in a local massage.

  • Mt Bromo - Sunrise climb

Mt Bromo is one of the highlights of the trip but it’s very popular, so during holiday periods expect it to be crowded. At times of increased volcanic activity, the crater of Mt Bromo is closed. There may be amendments to your sunrise hike and this portion of the trip depending on necessary safety precautions.

Head out early in the morning to tour nearby coffee, cocoa and rubber plantations. You'll see how rubber is processed, how coffee is dried, and, if there's time, how cocoa is fermented. Before you set off, enjoy a nice cup of coffee or tea and snack on fried banana. Travel by minibus to the far eastern end of Java – Gilimanuk (approximately 3 hours). There is often a lot of heavy traffic on this stretch of road as it's the main entry point for Bali, so there may be some delays. Next you'll board a ferry across the Java Strait (approximately 1 hour), before boarding another minibus for a journey along the west coast of Bali (approximately 1 hour). Travel on to Pemuteran – your destination for the next two nights.

  • Kalibaru - Coffee, Cocoa & Rubber Plantation Tour

Thailand & Bali Trip: The Ultimate 7-Day Bali And Thailand Itinerary

  • SHERI-KAE MCLEOD
  • January 27, 2023
  • Bali , GUIDES AND ITINERARIES , Thailand

Making a 7-day itinerary for Thailand and Bail is certainly a daunting task. Between the two countries are world-famous tourist cities, thousands of attractions, top sights, restaurants, quirky neighborhoods, and more. Both countries are rich in culture and have so much to offer to every kind of traveller. So how do you choose so you can get the best of both countries? Much of your trip will be spent traveling from city to city so ideally, you will need to dedicate two days to each major city, visiting any three of your choice (Bangkok, Pattaya OR Phuket and Bali). That being said, we’ve compiled a detailed 7-day itinerary to see both of Thailand and Bali — two of the most stunning destinations in southeast Asia.

Bangkok (2 Days)

Bangkok is one of the most visited cities in southeast Asia for good reasons. With its many restaurants, tourists attractions, temples, and fun activities, the city serves as the cultural and tourist hub of Thailand. This is a great place to start your trip to Thailand and Bali.

Morning:  Begin your morning adventures in Bangkok by exploring the city on the Chao Phraya River. The scenic river runs through the city and is one of the cheapest and most convenient ways to see some of Bangkok’s most noteworthy attractions. The tours begin at 7 a.m. in the morning. So be sure to go early enough so you can purchase your tourist boat pass at the Sathon Bridge Pier and get a seat on the boat. Start your day early and head to BTS Skytrain stop Saphan Taksin on the Silom line. The boat passes cost ฿150 (about USD $4). Once on the boat, you’ll get to experience Bangkok’s beauty from the river. You also have the option to hop on and off the boat as you please at any one of the eight stops.

Afternoon:  One place in Bangkok where you’ll find a lot of tourists, especially on the weekend, is at the many markets in the city. Bangkok markets are known for being a one-stop-shop hub where you can get delicious food, souvenirs, clothing, handmade crafts, and much more. The most popular weekend market is the Chatuchak Weekend Market in eastern Bangkok, equipped with lots of stalls, full of everything from antiques to clothing. If you’re visiting Bangkok during the week, Pratunam Market is a great alternative.

Evening:  In the evening, catch the free shuttle to Asiatique, a large open-air mall located on the banks on Chao Phraya River. Aside from the shops and tons of Thai and international restaurants, the huge mall has plenty of other attractions like the Thai puppet show by Joe Louis Theatre and Calypso Cabaret. For some family fun, take a ride on the Asiatique sky, Bangkok’s largest Ferris wheel.

Morning:  There are plenty of parks in Bangkok to relax or simply go for a walk. The huge green spaces, with skyscrapers and luxury hotels as their backdrops, are some of the most serene areas you’ll find in a big city like Bangkok. The well-known Lumpini Park, full of those prehistoric-looking creatures, and the Benjakiti Park are the perfect places to start the day in Bangkok.

Afternoon:  The culture of Thailand is known for being rooted in spirituality and the best place to see and experience true Thai culture is at the many temples in the country. Most of the popular temples in Bangkok are located close to one another, so visitors can hop from one to the next. The must-see temples that are all found along the river are the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, Wat Phra Kaew, and Wat Arun or Temple of the Dawn.

Evening:  After a packed day of sightseeing and exploring, experience the buzzing Bangkok nightlife at Khao San Road, Bangkok’s infamous backpacker’s hub. There are plenty of bars and restaurants as well as stalls selling clothes and souvenirs here. If you want a slightly calmer experience, visit the nearby Rambuttri Village instead.

Morning:  The main reason why Phuket is so popular is its stunning beaches. While Patong Beach is certainly the most popular amongst foreigners, there are plenty of other sandy paradises found throughout the island. Some of the best beaches to check out on the island of Phuket include Laylan Beach, Bang Tao, Karon Beach, Surin Beach, Paradise Beach, and Kata Beach, just to name a few.

Afternoon:  After you’ve enjoyed a beautiful morning on the beach, head to the Khao Phra Thaeo National Park and explore the diversity of birds, animals, and plants. If you feel like walking, guides are available at the park to assist you through the eight-kilometer trek right through the park that leads to a stunning waterfall. There’s also a museum and an information center at the bottom of the waterfall.

Evening:  The Phuket Weekend Market is only open on weekends and well worth the visit. Here you’ll find a variety of different Thai dishes and snacks as well as an abundance of souvenirs. If you happen to be in Phuket during the week, take a stop at the Chillva Market or Phuket Indy Market for a range of cool items and food.

Pattaya (2 Days)

Multi-cultural Pattaya is a vibrant coastal city in Thailand known for its beaches, luxury resorts, and shopping malls. Along with the natural beauty of the city, the buzzing nightlife also attracts thousands of tourists who visit to experience the cabaret bars and 24-hour clubs.

Morning:  If there was ever an attraction in Pattaya to be completely fascinated by, Mini Siam is it. Mini Siam is a famous miniature park which features a small-scale replica exhibition of some of the most famous structures in the world. One can experience the Eiffel Tower, Statue of Liberty, Wat Phra Kaeo, and so much more in one area. The entrance fee is ฿300 (about USD $9) for foreigners and the property opens at 7 a.m. in the morning. Be sure to book your tour from early on because the attraction is quite popular and tours are limited.

Noon:  The young and old alike can enjoy themselves at Pattaya Park Tower. The interesting thing about this attraction is that it is an amusement park and tower view rolled into one. The 240-meter tall observation tower hosts three international restaurants, all with 360-degree views of Pattaya. There’s also a gigantic water park, a jumping platform and a fun park with a rollercoaster, monorail, musical carousel, and much more for children.

Evening:   After a day of excitement, relax with loved ones on Jomtien Beach. This six-kilometer stretch of sand is pretty peaceful in the evenings since it is not as crowded as Pattaya beach. A number of activities and watersports are available but if you’re exhausted from all the day’s activities, you can grab dinner at one of the many seafood or Thai restaurants on the beach.

Morning:  The Nong Nooch Tropical Garden & Cultural Village is a cool way to spend your morning in Pattaya. The entire area is designed like a theme park with various displays like the Stonehenge garden, the 17th-century French garden, and more. A number of orchid nurseries and tropical areas are also on display, making the park a good place to relax.

Noon:  The Four Regions Floating Market is a one-of-a-kind market in Pattaya. Traders, farmers, and fishermen in boats float along the water offering a variety of fresh produce, flowers, and handicrafts. Take a tour on a boat through the market, or stop and bargain for something, whether its food or unique crafts made by the locals.

Afternoon:   What better way to be up close and personal with the marine life in Pattaya than to visit Underwater World. This modern aquarium is home to an extensive display of tropical fish and other sea creatures. Visitors can go swimming with the sharks and stingrays here, feed the fish from bottles and watch their shows. Most activities are scheduled in advance, so check with the office before visiting.

Evening:  Walking Street is one of the most captivating features of Pattaya, known for its nightlife attractions. The street comes alive at 6 p.m. daily with a myriad of lively bars, nightclubs, restaurants, and the so-called “very friendly” girls. For cool souvenirs made by locals, check out the market or malls nearby.

Bali (2 Days)

Beautiful beaches and impetuous waves, enchanting rainforests and waterfalls, emerald rice terraces, and fascinating cultural and spiritual attractions. These and much more attract tourists from all over the world to the magical island of Bali. Two days is enough to get a taste of what makes Bali so special.

Morning:  Wake up in the morning and breathe in the clean Bali air on the world-famous Kuta beach, just minutes from the airport. While it’s a crowded and energetic place at night, Kuta is more laid-back in the morning, with only a few people jogging or relaxing on the white sand. There is also no problem finding delicious breakfast place on the beach, with shops and restaurants providing authentic Balinese and western meals.

Noon:  Within walking distance from Kuta are the upscale neighborhoods of Seminyak and Petitenget, lined with lavish boutiques and a variety of local and international restaurants. Indulge in a little shopping for the latest designer products, and enjoy some of the best Balinese or international food in the area.

Afternoon : No one wants to leave Bali without going to one of the many temples on the island. For a true Bali cultural experience, head to the Uluwatu Temple. The temple area is home to many playful monkeys that can get a bit grabby, so hold on to your personal belongings. The temple has tour guides that explain the origins of the temple, cultural practices, and religious rituals. The Uluwatu Temple often hosts traditional dance performances during sunset.

Evening:  For great food in the evenings at an oceanfront restaurant, slide over to the nearby Jimbaran Bay. Many of the restaurants serve seafood as well as Thai cuisine and offer outdoor seating on the sand so tourists can soak their feet in the sand while enjoying their meals. A bonus is that there are traditional dances and live music performances in the area.

Morning:  Travel to Ubud early the next day to experience the enchanting rice terraces. You can enjoy a walk or cycle in nature through villages and the world-famous rice terraces that embellish Ubud’s landscape.

Noon:  Afternoons are reserved for the animals at the Ubud Monkey Forest. Serving both as a natural reserve and sacred temple, this attraction offers the best of culture and nature in Bali. Many tourists visit to interact with the hundreds of monkeys that stay there, while others are more in awe of the Hindu temple. Regardless of your preference, this place is a must-visit.

Evening:  You absolutely cannot leave Ubud without seeing one traditional Balinese dance or music performance. The Ubud Royal Palace is arguably Ubud’s most important landmark and the best place to watch the cultural performances in the evenings. Tourists tend to crowd the palace during this time so visit early and reserve your seat.

Start your adventure at the Khlong Lat Mayom Floating Market , located in the enchanting Taling Chan District. Immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of this weekend market, open from 8am to 5pm. Allow your senses to be engulfed by the tantalizing aromas of diverse cooking styles as you explore the market's charming canals. Take a leisurely boat ride, observing the way locals live, or perhaps purchase delicious food from one of the vendors gliding along the water. Unforgettable melodies from live bands will provide the perfect backdrop for your market exploration.

Continue your journey to the magnificent Royal Grand Palace , which stands as a testament to Thailand's rich history and spirituality. Within the palace complex, you will find the revered Wat Phra Kaew, home to the Emerald Buddha, a precious relic dating back to the 14th century. Once a royal residence, the palace still plays host to various ceremonies and auspicious events. Please note that the Grand Palace has specific closure dates due to Royal Ceremonies, mentioned in the note below the description. Additionally, a dress code applies to enter the palace, with certain items of clothing strictly prohibited, such as shorts, sleeveless shirts, and sandals without ankle or heel straps. Photo identification, such as a passport copy, will be required for security checks.

Depart from Bangkok, and enjoy a scenic 1.5-hour drive through the rural outskirts as you make your way to the Ayutthaya History Park. Prepare to be enchanted by the fascinating sights and stories that await you.

Your first stop is the magnificent Bang-Pa-In Summer Palace , situated 60 kilometers north of Bangkok. Marvel at the exquisite architectural fusion of Eastern and Western influences, dating back to the 17th century. Explore its sprawling grounds, adorned with stunning buildings and serene gardens.

Continue your exploration as you arrive in Ayutthaya, the former capital of the Thai Kingdom for an astounding 417 years. Founded in 1350 by King U-Thong, the city once flourished as a hub of prosperity and grandeur, until its eventual destruction by the Burmese army in 1767. Today, Ayutthaya's ruins stand as a testament to its glorious past, earning a well-deserved place on the UNESCO World Heritage list.

Immerse yourself in the history as you stroll amidst the ancient temple ruins. Visit the renowned Wat Phra Si Sanphet , a former royal temple during Ayutthaya's height of power. Witness the iconic roots of a tree embracing the Buddha's head at Wat Mahathat, a truly mesmerizing sight. If time permits, explore the impressive Khmer-inspired architecture of Wat Chai Wattanaram.

In the afternoon, embark on the Grand Pearl cruise and savor a delicious Thai lunch on board. Relax as you glide along the river, soaking in the picturesque scenery and observing the daily lives of its inhabitants. Top Asia Tour, with the help of Lily, fashioned a perfectly balanced trip of tours, an excursion to his birth town and orphanage, down time, and excursions. My teenage boys loved the experience from beginning to end

An Excellent Short Tour Firstly, our tour guide David has provided support and comfort beyond his expectations and his role. He has bought everyone under his arm looking after each and every one. Has always been there even in odd times to finding out or arranging best of what's needed.  The experience and transports and accomodation has been great, different and memorable, doubt we would have done this as an individual trip.

The amazing experience of a lifetime! My 23-yo daughter and I had the experience of a lifetime on this trip. I am an experienced traveler but for our first time in Thailand I decided to book an organized tour and it was fabulous.

What a trip! Thank you for arranging such a fantastic trip to Thailand. This was my first holiday since the pandemic. Our guide Linda was amazing from the minute we met to saying our goodbyes. What a great way to discover a country with someone so knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. She made sure we were all ok, healthy and happy with any suggestions she made. It was so nice to be with someone so full of energy - all week, with 9 of us! And so caring. Linda also gave us flexibility in what we wanted to do so it really felt like we were friends on a trip with someone who knew what she doing. I would highly recommend a trip like this and I will be looking to book my next tour next year. It’s nice to not have to think about every step of the trip as I usually work out my own itinerary and try to see as much as possible when I visit a country, but this was all taken care of and I definitely experienced things I wouldn’t have been able to were I alone. The quality of accommodation and transport was fantastic as well. See you next year!

honestly the best! The Thai Experience trip with the tour operator was honestly the best! There was so much included in the trip and the accommodation was top notch. The guide was really well organised and lovely! We've already booked to go to Sri Lanka next year.

Excellent Both Jose and Nancy are very friendly, funny, responsible, trustworthy, and well-organized people, who love their job. I'm feeling lucky that exactly they were my tour guides. I strongly recommend them. Also thanks to TopAsiaTour, you really make me a lifetime trip to Asia. Definitely will travel with TopAsiaTour again.

So glad I booked to travel to Thailand through TopAsiaTour . Amazing activities, an awesome tour guide and everything was stress-free, didn’t have to worry about a thing. There was a good mix of culture, fun and chilled time. I’ve made friends for life during the tour and cannot wait for my next tour with Top Asia Tour!

We had the best time! I went on the Thai Experience Tour arranged by Top Asia Tour and I can't recommend it more! I had the best time traveling with an amazing bunch of people. Before this trip I was a first-time solo traveller. The accommodation, the food and all the activities were so well planned and special. My highlights were the floating bungalows, the visit to the Elephant Sanctuary and the Sarana Bungalows. My tour guide Ben was awesome and always around whenever we needed him and he made sure we had the best time!

My experience with Top Asia Tour Best of Thailand 9 Day tour was phenomenal. We got to do so many activities while still having some free time to explore on our own. Every activity was perfectly timed, incredibly well done and organized, and all the guides were enthusiastic and knowledgeable and made sure every person had an amazing time. I would definitely love to travel with TopAsiaTour again.

Grace came and picked us up from the airport in Bangkok she was really friendly messaging us to make sure we knew she would be there and she got the taxi to the hotel with us and told us what there was in the area for us to see. She was always contactable for any questions or problems even before our tour started. We then met Ming and Oat the following day on the first night of the tour who were so friendly and took the time to get to know us and spend the time with us. We also met our tour guide Gun who is so friendly, outgoing and knowledgeable. Grace, Ming, Oat and Gun have made this whole experience amazing with their support, fun and knowledge of the places. They were all constantly taking pictures of our group having fun and making memories that will last a lifetime. The first 8 days with Ming, Grace and Oat were so lovely as they are doing such a great job, they are all going to be such great tour guides! Nothing was ever too much to ask any of them and they always checked to make sure you are okay! Thank you to all of them for making the experience amazing!

A great overall trip, we were able to see the countries and learn a lot of the history in the areas. The highlights for me were the personal encounters with the local people and being able to see how they live.

The guides were polite, courteous, knowledgeable, and had good fun. They were happy to fit in a few extra stops/sights that customers were keen to visit. Great accommodation and a wide range of activities, sights and experiences provided. Excellent experience all around.

Excellent organisation. Great hotels, well chosen restaurants. Knowledgeable tour guides, especially Laki in Vietnam who went out of his way to make sure we were informed and entertained

Wow! Wow! Every single second of this trip was incredible! Our local guide was down to earth, helpful and really easy to talk to. She went above and beyond for us and made everything just a little bit more special.

A well-planned tour took in some excellent places and sights. Hotels were to the standard expected, and some exceeded. Our tour guide, York, was superb - very knowledgeable, informative with a great sense of humour. Would certainly recommend Top Asia Tour

We really loved Thailand and Laos, the accommodation was great and the trips excellent as were both our guides the only reason for not giving 5 stars is because when we arrived in Bangkok early morning after a sleepless flight we were told our room would not be ready till 2pm. We were exhausted but had to wait in the reception for 4-5 hrs even though the hotel was half empty due to coronavirus. We did understand that is hotel's regulation. I would just like to say that our guide Ken was exceptional. He helped us to communicate with the hotel and let us check in around 10 a.m. He also would not leave us until we were at the airport with tickets in hand. I really do hope that you recognise his dedication and professionalism.

This was my third tour. As a single traveller I always feel safe and welcomed. Amazing to see three countries in two weeks. The guides were exceptional.

Yes, I would recommend TopAsiaTour and use again. Lily who helped me with my booking was friendly and efficient and took her time to sort out any queries I had. She also kept contact with us during trip to ensure we had a good time. All the guide and drivers are patient and kind. TopAsiaTour offer great holidays and we would certainly use them again.

I Just have to share an amazing adventure I experienced not so long ago in Phi Phi islands. I wanted to do something different so I decided to do the Antrek jungle trek !! wow, that was probably one of the best things I did! We trekked in the jungle, side by side with monkeys and beautiful nature!! We walked to the highest top of the island, down to an paradise lonely beach where we could swim and watch the most beautiful sunset I saw!!

Mar 08 ,2019

We started our tour in Phuket city where we met up with Gun at our hotel, had a few hours to settle in and have a look around, dinner was lovely on Patong beach, had a wander around the town and filled in with culture about the surroundings from Gun

Jeremy was great! He had lots of energy and kept the group upbeat even in bouts of long travel. Great experiences of the nightlife throughout this trip, and a good organized way to see different areas. We definitely could not have seen Thailand without Jeremy! He was intuitive to everyone's needs and very welcoming. Definitely made lifelong friends on this trip! The accommodation was comfy beds with subpar bathrooms but that's Thailand! Traveling was hard but not much Top Asia Tour could do about that, they kept it organized! Thanks for the great memories!

We have been planning a trip with Top Asia Tour for the past few weeks. 3 girlfriends and I are traveling to Thailand in January. We started looking at big bus trips, since we don’t know the country or language but didn’t like the restrictions of doing only what they had on their itinerary. I research trips thoroughly and discovered Top Asia Tour. Again, I researched them as much as possible but didn’t find any red flags so started working with Joyce. What a wonderful experience! She is very professional and pleasant. She adjusted our itinerary, answered all questions, and organized an amazing trip. She answered promptly. I was a little hesitant about working with a company in China, but the deposit was made through PayPal which made me feel better. I will post again when we return, but I anticipate a fabulous trip. Thank you, Joyce, for all your help! I hope I can work with you again in the future.

Our guide was so helpful and knowledgeable. She helped us with our ongoing travel as well. She gave us advice with any other activities the whole way through. Busy itinerary with time for chilling as well.

Nov 30 ,2018

We thought the tour was well-planned and organised. We enjoyed eating most meals in local restaurants. Yes, we would consider TopAsiaTour tours again. We found all three guides very good, they were informative and genuinely interested in telling us about their respective countries.

Nov 06 ,2018

From when our guide picked us up at Bangkok until we left Laos the holiday was well organized and with a good range of activities. The guides were very knowledgeable. The only drawback to the holiday was that being vegetarian we seem to have well-cooked but rather bland tasting dishes. Eating at different restaurants meant that we quite often had similar dishes throughout the holiday.

We loved the full itinerary with York throwing in a few little extras like stopping in a field to watch the farmers harvesting rice and thenbeing offered a chance to have a go. Good vallue for money with so much packed into the itinerary and good flights

Feb 14 ,2018

Amazing! I really enjoyed every part of it. Thailand, the accommodations, the tour itinerary, arrangement & our guide were all incredible.

Dec 03 ,2017

We had 22 wonderful days in Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. Every time we arrived in a new place, there was always someone waiting for us. This really comforted us a lot. Reduce our nervous feeling in a totally strange place with no language understanding. We were picked up from the airport with our luggage stored in a van every time then assisted on hotel check-in and toured with our private chauffeur and tour guide. Our tour guides are very professional and knowledgeable about their country and history and made us feel very welcome and relaxed like touring with old friends.

Culturally Rich, Busy Programme - Loved it! The tour is short but with a busy programme and lots to see so you feel you get the most out of this 7 days itinerary. Enjoyed the tour. Thanks

For anyone that wants adventure and a fabulous experience, I would suggest the 11 day Thailand Experience tour with Top Asia Tour. So much fun. Words cannot express how wonderful the guides were, and how they took care to keep us safe and teach us about the beautiful country of Thailand. Lots of walking, but at 75 years old, I did fine. So many places that most tourists don’t even know exist. . So very happy I did this trip.
