Inside Betty White's Beautiful Home In California That's On The Market For $8 Million

Betty White laughing

On December 31, 2021, beloved American actress and comedian Betty White died in Brentwood, California . She won the heart of millions with her work, especially her most well-known performances in the television sitcoms "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and "The Golden Girls." She grew up in Los Angeles and began her acting career in the 1940s, where she got her start on radio shows and regularly appeared on TV, according to  Britannica . Her acting career advanced, and she eventually found herself appearing and staring in the sitcoms she is well-known for today.

Throughout her years of fame, Betty White remained in a dedicated relationship with her husband, Allen Ludden, who she met after two failed, short-lived marriages. They were married for 18 years before Allen Ludden died from stomach cancer. Brides stated that Ludden was the love of Betty White's life, who she reunited with after her passing. During their life together, they purchased a beautiful piece of property where they built their home together (per New York Post ). With the recent passing of Betty White, this gorgeous California home is now hitting the market for $7.95 million. Here's what we know about the residence.

Location of the home

The home is located in Carmel, California. Carmel is also known as Carmel-by-the-sea and is a small town leaning along the central coast of California. On a trip to the California coast, you would not want to miss out on this mystical town. The area has a wide variety of shopping, fine restaurants, art galleries, and boutiques to enjoy. The style and architecture throughout the town is very attractive to honeymooners or romantic couples looking for a vacation due the whimsical style, making it feel as if you are stepping into a storybook. This location is even known, by Monterey , as one of the best cities for romance due to the scenic city and styles that are home there.

Carmel, California has the romantic atmosphere making the area a perfect place for the romantic couple, Betty White and Allen Ludden, to reside. Also, located right along the ocean, they received the romantic oceanfront home they always dreamed of, even though it couldn't be enjoyed by the both of them for long (per New York Post ).

Interior and exterior details

Betty White's home is a three-story house that covers 3,621 square feet of living space. The home includes four bedrooms and four and one-half bathrooms. The house also provides a variety of living spaces. The main living room includes a fireplace, adding a cozy feel to the room. The master bedroom also includes its own fireplace, according to  New York Post . The master bedroom also includes a brightly lit vanity in the adjacent bathroom. Beyond the master bedroom, each room is also complete with walk-in closets, allowing for plenty of storage space.

Zillow presents the outside portions of the property to also have two levels of terrace, adding plenty of outdoor space for residents. From these terraces, you can easily catch the California sunset over the ocean on a relaxing afternoon. Behind the property is also a beautifully landscaped garden. There is even a gate leading down a small path allowing direct access to the sandy beach beyond the home.

Interior style

As soon as you step into this beautiful house, you can clearly see why it was so beloved by Betty White and her husband. Across all exterior walls of the home are large, floor-to-ceiling windows bringing the beautiful ocean view into the home. These windows are located in all the main areas of the home, including the master bedroom and both living rooms, according to  New York Post . Not only do they offer spectacular views, but these windows also provide the home with plenty of natural lighting throughout the day.

Overall, the home is presented as a very open space. Upon entering the home, residents are greeted with high ceilings and plenty of spacious living areas. The interior walls and ceiling of the home take on a lightly colored wooden style accompanying the crisp ocean view brought in through the windows. The comforting and beautiful style makes the home a perfect place for a romantic getaway.

‘Super Spectacular’: Inside Betty White’s Beloved Carmel Estate

Actress Betty White died last year at the age of 99 and left behind a stellar legacy in the entertainment world. The Emmy winner also held some incredible real estate, including an oceanfront estate in Carmel, CA, that has surfaced on the market for $7,950,000.

The “Golden Girls” star and her husband, game-show host Allen Ludden , bought the prized property in 1978 for $170,000. They proceeded to build a custom home, which was completed in 1981. Unfortunately, Ludden died before the couple could enjoy the property together. White held on to the coastal retreat for the rest of her life.

Let’s take a look inside her beloved estate in Carmel.

Gorgeous gardens

Perched above the ocean, this property offers views of the Point Lobos State Natural Reserve, Ribera Beach, and Monastery Beach.

The quarter-acre grounds boast a storybook garden with lush blooms, groomed shrubs, and a winding path. There’s a back gate and path that lead to a sandy beach.

Continuity is key here: The grounds have been tended by the same gardener since the home was built.

Midcentury modern details

Designed by architect Richard Hicks , the space features key tenets of midcentury modern design, including wide-open spaces, wood paneling, beamed ceilings, and walls of windows. The three-story home measures 3,600 square feet and has four bedrooms and 4.5 baths.

The home’s low-key design turns the focus to its natural surroundings, notes listing agent Nicole Truszkowski , with Sotheby’s International Realty.

“It’s elegantly understated in terms of the home itself. It was designed to truly draw your attention to nature and the ocean, wildlife, and everything you see,” says Truszkowski. “I think it speaks to the owner of the home and the things she appreciated. The home is a reflection of that.”

Indoor-outdoor flow

The living spaces extend to the exterior decks overlooking the gardens and sandy beach. In the living room, there are walls of glass and a fireplace. The dining room is adjacent to the kitchen and also offers ocean views.

Special sanctuary

While White spent the last years of her life at her Brentwood mansion in Los Angeles, this coastal getaway provided her a place to “recharge and rejuvenate,” says Truszkowski.

“Spending time in Carmel was one of Betty’s favorite things to do. She enjoyed many treasured moments with her family and close friends. The home embodies the spirit of Betty and Allen,” she adds.

We especially love the primary bedroom with its ocean views, fireplace, and en suite bath.

Priced right?

Real estate prices in this elite enclave have catapulted since White snagged this property for $170,000 in the ’70s . Currently, the median home list price is an astonishing $2,195,000 and only 117 homes are available for sale, according to Realtor.com® data.

The rarity of an oceanfront abode coming on the market for the first time in over 40 years adds to its interest. The trustee will review offers on April 4, and if you’d like to put in a bid from the comfort of your home office, think again.

“You have to physically tour the property to submit an offer,” Truszkowski says. “If you really want to buy the property, hop on a plane, come, and look at it.”

She’s confident potential buyers will be impressed by the place once they set foot on the grounds—and not just because of its connection to the legendary actress.

“There’s an interest just because of that,” Truszkowski concedes. “But the property itself is really, really special. It’s super spectacular.”

Truszkowski and Zak Freedman with Truszkowski, Freedman & Associates of Sotheby’s International Realty–Carmel Brokerage hold the listing.

That was fast. A few weeks after Betty White’s longtime home listed for sale in Brentwood, the Colonial-style spot has sold for $10.678 million — or $103,000 more than the asking price.

Buyers were quick to scoop up the comedian’s real estate portfolio — whether due to the hot pandemic market or deep-pocketed buyers wanting a piece of White’s legacy. Her other home, a beach house overlooking the ocean in Carmel-by-the-Sea, recently sold for $10.775 million, a whopping $2.825 million more than the price tag.

The Brentwood sale is even more surprising considering potential buyers weren’t allowed inside. According to the listing agency, tours only showcased the exterior.

betty white brentwood home tour

White owned the Brentwood property for more than half a century, buying it in the 1960s with her husband, game show host Allen Ludden. The house was built in the 1950s and sits on three quarters of an acre tucked behind trees, hedges and gates.

A motor court approaches the two-story home, which covers just over 3,000 square feet with five bedrooms and six bathrooms. Splashes of stone and bright yellow accents mark the exterior.

A stone patio surrounds a swimming pool out back. At the edge of the property, a grassy lawn leads to a flower garden.

Marlene Okulick of Sotheby’s International Realty held the listing. Amir Jawaherian and H. Blair Chang of the Agency represented the buyer.

A television pioneer, White starred in countless game shows and sitcoms such as “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and “The Golden Girls,” eventually earning the nickname “The First Lady of Television.” Her career spanned seven decades, and her many accolades include eight Emmys, three SAG Awards and a Grammy. In 1995, she was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame.

Betty White's home in Carmel-by-the-Sea

Betty White’s former home in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, is currently on the market for $7.95 million. The ‘Queen of TV’ built the Monterey Peninsula property with her TV host Allen Ludden in 1978 before he passed away in 1981.

Producer and actor Betty White was the first woman to write, produce and act in a sitcom – Life With Elizabeth . She is also well known for playing Rose Nylund on The Golden Girls and hosting Saturday Night Live .

Throughout her 80 year career, she won eight Emmys and a Grammy – so it seems only fitting that one of the most celebrated actors in America owned one of the world’s best homes . Here, we explore the ocean-front property.

Betty White's home in Carmel-by-the-Sea

The 3,621-square-foot home – that sits on the fringe of Ribera and Monastery Beach – is a maze of natural decorating ideas that bring the 1970s property into contemporary California. The property has walls of glass and organic building materials, including light wood walls and ceilings and a statement stone fireplace in the living room.

These neutral-toned materials bring a bright and airy aesthetic to the space whilst creating a contrast against the blues and greens of the surrounding ocean.

Beyond the main living space, the home has an interchangeable dining room that can be used as an extension to the kitchen, or more formally, with the option to interrupt the open-plan area and become a separate room.

This versatile open plan kitchen idea allows guests to host a dinner party away from their food preparation space – or continue their kitchen party into a dining room with a view over the shore.

While the home’s interiors are something to note, its garden ideas are equally as impressive. Perhaps the most impressive part of the exteriors is the decking that includes manicured landscaping with grass, shrubs, and flowerbeds. The terrace showcases views of the craggy shoreline rocks and a streak of the white beach to the left of the estate.

After being purchased for more than $10 million last year, the construction where Betty White’s home of more than 50 years once stood is taking shape.

White died on Dec. 31, 2021, just weeks before she would have turned 100 years old, KABC reported.

Her Brentwood home, which she and her husband Allen Ludden purchased in 1968, was put on the market in June 2022, but only lasted a month before someone purchased it for $10.678 million, People magazine reported.

The 3,000-square-foot residence was listed by Marlene Okulick of Sotheby’s International Realty - Pacific Palisades Brokerage .

It boasted six full bathrooms, five bedrooms and a pool on the more than three-quarter-acre property.

TMZ reported that a dentist and his wife were the lucky buyers. Paperwork to bulldoze the home was filed in November, then another permit was filed in February to add a new pool and spa, according to the gossip site .

Back in December, White’s former assistant, Kiersten Mikelas said on social media that the home had been torn down, saying “Her Brentwood home is no more (safe the fireplaces which will be gone in short order.)”

But it wasn’t being sold for the home itself, the listing was for the land value. The house was meant to be torn down after the sale was completed, People magazine reported.

The footprint of a new mansion is starting to take shape as framing for buildings is starting to appear on the property, the publication reported. A large mound of dirt can also be seen.

The 'Golden Girls' star's favorite home sold after just two weeks on the market.

Betty White fans were outraged when the star's publicist shared on Instagram that her home in the posh Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles had been demolished, days before the one-year anniversary of her death.

Betty White died just a few weeks short of her 100th birthday on Dec. 31, 2021, at her Brentwood home.

We're all sad to see White's torn down but it was just one of  The Golden Girls star's homes. Her favorite place to call home was a rustic-modern Carmel-by-the-Sea beach house, which she built with her husband, Allen Ludden , in 1978. It was listed for sale in early April , and according to toptenrealestate.com , the asking price was $7.95 million. Architectural Digest reports that the house sold two weeks later for $10.775 million—nearly $3 million above asking price.

As we remember our favorite Golden Girl, take a look back at her favorite home.

As gorgeous as the home is, the most striking feature is the view of the Pacific Ocean. With wall-to-wall windows, the rooms look out at the Point Lobos Nature Reserve, Ribera Beach and Monastery Beach.

Construction is underway at the former site where Betty White 's beloved Brentwood, California home once stood.

New photos show workers moving dirt and framing buildings on the nearly three-quarter acre property, which White called home for more than 50 years.

The coveted flat lot, which is located in Brentwood Park, sports "huge parklike grounds," and views of the mountains and the nearby Getty Museum, according to an original listing .

Last June, the site sold for $10.678 million after just one month on the market.

The Hollywood legend and her late husband Allen Ludden bought the property in 1968, according to The Wall Street Journal .

The home, which was more than 3,000 square feet and had five bedrooms and six baths, was listed by Marlene Okulick of Sotheby's International Realty – Pacific Palisades Brokerage .

According to the listing , the property was sold for "land value," meaning it was always set to be torn down once bought.

In December, the late actress' assistant, Kiersten Mikelas, posted a photo announcing that the home had been torn down.

"This is such a busy time of year and coming up on the anniversary of Betty's passing is hitting in ways I hadn't anticipated," she wrote of White, who died on Dec. 31, 2021 . "Her Brentwood home is no more (save the fireplaces which will be gone in short order)."

In the photo, the dirt took the place of where the home previously stood, and an excavator sat near one of the fireplaces, which was still intact.

She added: "I promise a wonderful tribute to our most wonderful lady very soon!!!!"

The sunny two-story home was a seeming source of happiness for the actress. It included a sunroom where White reportedly enjoyed the view of the yard, which featured flower-filled garden beds, old growth trees and a swimming pool, a spokesperson shared with the WSJ .

The lot also included a three-car garage and a guesthouse, where White and Ludden were joined by Gloria and Jimmy Stewart and Dinah Shore and Burt Reynolds for games of charades, the spokesperson said.

Pieces of the home will live on, though. "So honored to have been able to buy the big yellow front door to this home," comedian Chelcie Lynn commented on the post. "It'll be used on the house I build ☀️ 😢."

American treasure Betty White was far more than just an actress—she was an all-around good human being, beloved for her wit, humor, and passion for animals. White was born in Oak Park, Illinois, but her family moved to California in 1923. She owned just two homes in the second half of her life: a Brentwood, Los Angeles residence and, her favorite, the house she built in Carmel-by-the-Sea with her third husband, Allen Ludden.

Despite being famous, White only invited the public into her home a few times throughout her eight-decade career . We dug deep into the archives to bring you these photos of the actress at home—keep reading to take a peek inside and learn even more about the actress and her career.

Betty White was born in Oak Park, Illinois, on January 17, 1922. But she didn't live there long—her family moved to Alhambra, California, shortly after White turned one.

As a teenager, White attended Beverly Hills High School, from which she graduated in 1939. It was there she discovered her passion and talent for acting.

White had initially wanted to become a forest ranger, because of her love for animals, but that wasn't a viable career path for women at the time. The U.S. Forest Service made White an honorary ranger in 2010. Here, she's pictured at home with her dogs Bandy (top left), Danny (top right), and Stormy (bottom) in 1954.

Before White's career could begin after graduation, World War II broke out. White drove delivery trucks for the American Women's Voluntary Services in California.

Though White snagged a few television gigs during the industry's nascent days—she participated in an experimental broadcast in 1939—she primarily worked in radio in her early career. Her TV breakthrough came in 1949, when she co-hosted the show A l Jarvis's Hollywood on Television, eventually succeeding the eponymous host.

She was then given her own daily talk and variety show, The Betty White Show , which ran from 1952 through 1954.

The Betty White Show was pioneering in many ways. White herself became the first woman to produce a national TV show—and she was the first woman to hire a female director.

White also received some criticism for featuring Black tap dancer Arthur Duncan on the show. "All through the South, there was this whole ruckus. They were going to take the show off the air if we didn't get rid of Arthur because he was Black," White explained in a 2018 documentary about her life. "I said, 'I'm sorry, but, you know, he stays. Live with it!'"

White also starred in two sitcoms in the 1950s: Life With Elizabeth and Date with the Angels . Neither was particularly long-lived.

But White met Lucille Ball while filming Date with the Angeles, as the show was shot on the same lot as I Love Lucy. The two bonded over working in a male-dominated industry and became life-long friends.

In the 1960s, White's career moved into game shows, not as a host, but as a guest. She made appearances on such shows as The Match Game , I've Got a Secret , and What's My Line?

In fact, White met the love of her life, Allen Ludden, on a game show. Ludden hosted Password , on which White was a guest.

White and Ludden married in 1963. It was White's third marriage and Ludden's second.

Though the two had no children together, White helped raise Ludden's children from his previous marriage: David, Martha, and Sarah. And there were always plenty of pets.

Ludden convinced White to move to Chappaqua, New York, for a brief spell—Ludden lived there with his children. But the move didn't last, as White insisted on returning to California.

White was a stalwart Californian. She even turned down a job hosting The Today Show, because she didn't want to live in New York. The job ended up going to Barbara Walters.

White's breakthrough moment in television happened rather late in her career. She joined T he Mary Tyler Moore Show in 1973, when she was 51.

Her character, Sue Ann Nivens, was originally just a guest on the show. But the character was upgraded to a series regular one season later.

White would win her first Primetime Emmy while playing Sue Ann Nivens on The Mary Tyler Moore Show. But that wasn't her first Emmy—here, she's pictured with her Regional Emmy Award, which she won in 1952 for Life With Elizabeth.

Where Did Betty White Live?

Betty Marion White was an American actress and entertainer with a career that spanned nearly 7 decades! In addition to being everyone’s favorite grandma, Betty White was most often recognized for her roles on The Mary Tyler Moore Show , The Golden Girls , and most recently the hit comedy Hot in Cleveland . In addition to her acting, Betty also made television history as being the first woman to produce a television sitcom, the series Life with Elizabeth . You know her, you love her, but have you ever seen where this television legend called home? Check out incredible photos of the Betty White home and more below!

Where Did Betty White Live?

Betty White spent the majority of her time at her beach home in Carmel, California. In addition to Carmel, Betty also owned a modest residence in an upscale community in Brentwood, California.

More on Betty White house below!

Betty White House Brentwood California

Betty white house carmel california.

This picturesque abode played host to Betty White for over 50 years! The property was purchased by White and then-husband, Allen Ludden, in 1968 due to its close proximity to studios.

Where Did Betty White Live?

Located in an upscale community in Brentwood, Calif, the 2-story residence boasted 3,000 square feet as well as 5 spacious bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.

Some amenities you could expect to find in this humble home included a sunroom that overlooked the lush grounds (one of Betty’s favorite spots in the home), swimming pool, 3-car garage, and a guest house where famous names, such as Burt Reynolds, occasionally stayed during visits to Betty and Allen’s home.

Only 4 months after White’s death, the property sold for $10.678 million in June 2022.

Unfortunately, Betty White’s Brentwood home is no longer standing as of June 2022. The property was demolished to make room for a new structure.

This gorgeous oceanfront estate was actually built by Betty and her husband. Sadly, the couple had little time to enjoy it together though as Ludden would pass away shortly after its construction in 1981. Despite this, Betty loved this home dearly and created many wonderful memories here with family and friends.

The 3-story residence offers 3,600 square feet of living space, 4 bedrooms and 4 and a half bathrooms.

Oh yeah, and let’s not forget about the endless supply of natural lighting and panoramic ocean views of Lobos Nature Reserve, Monastery Beach, and Ribera Beach from almost every room in the house!

A large skylight and walls of glass make this dining room and kitchen both vibrant, welcoming spaces that are made to feel even more spacious by the vaulted ceilings.

Upstairs, the luxury continues in the master suite and ensuite bath. Plenty of space for seating areas and a massive bed as well as a stunning view of the ocean make this one seriously incredible place to snooze!

If the view of the beach isn’t already amazing enough, the lush gardens on the grounds provide some next-level landscape eye-candy.

Betty White House Carmel California

The property sold in 2022 for $10.755 million – nearly 3 million over asking! What makes this even more surprising is the fact that the buyer wasn’t even allowed access to the home prior to purchase – they were only allowed to view the exterior.

Where Did Betty White Live?

Betty White Spouse

Betty White husbands included Dick Barker (1945-1945), Lane Allen (1947-1949), and Allen Ludden (1963-1981). Ludden passed away from stomach cancer on June 9, 1981.

White considered Ludden the love of her life and never remarried following his death.

Betty White Cause of Death

Following her passing, one main question everyone asked at the time was “How did Betty White die?” Betty White passed away on December 31st, 2021 following a stroke she suffered on Christmas day.

White died peacefully in her sleep at her Brentwood residence at the age of 99.

Betty White Birthday

Betty White was born January 17, 1922 – making Betty White age 99 at her passing. She was only weeks away from reaching her 100th birthday, which the beloved icon planned to host a televised event in celebration of.

Betty White Net Worth

So, how much was Betty White worth? The legendary lady had amassed a net worth of $75 million as of 2021!

Did Betty White Have Children?

As a young woman, Betty White chose not to have children as she wanted to focus on her career. While she never had biological children, however, Betty did have three stepchildren with husband, Allen Ludden.

Her stepchildren included David Ludden, Martha Ludden, and Sarah Ludden.

Betty White Challenge

Following her passing, fans of Betty White started a viral fundraiser known as the “Betty White Challenge.” The challenge, which honors the late icon’s love of animals, asks fans to make a donation to an animal shelter or rescue in Betty’s name on her birthday. Surprising everyone at the time, this challenge ended up raising $12.7 million on Facebook and Instagram alone!

If there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that Betty White was one incredible woman and is dearly missed by us all.

Moscow city 360-degree virtual reality tour.

Take the virtual tour of the kremlin, moscow river, saint basil’s cathedral and red square.

The Moscow Kremlin  usually referred to as the Kremlin, is a fortified complex at the heart of Moscow, overlooking the Moskva River to the south, Saint Basil’s Cathedral and Red Square to the east, and the Alexander Garden to the west.

It is the best known of the Kremlins (Russian citadels) and includes five palaces, four cathedrals, and the enclosing Kremlin Wall with Kremlin towers. Also within this complex is the Grand Kremlin Palace. The complex serves as the official residence of the President of the Russian Federation.

The name “Kremlin” means “fortress inside a city”, and is often also used metonymically to refer to the government of the Russian Federation in a similar sense to how “White House” is used to refer to the Executive Office of the President of the United States. It had previously been used to refer to the government of the Soviet Union (1922–1991) and its highest members (such as general secretaries, premiers, presidents, ministers, and commissars). The term “Kremlinology” refers to the study of Soviet and Russian politics.

All of Moscow’s main streets start at  Red Square , so it’s easy to see why this is considered the heart of the city. A massive space of 330 meters by 70 meters, the square is flanked by the Kremlin, Lenin’s Mausoleum, two cathedrals, and the State Historical Museum. In 1945, a massive Victory Parade was held here to celebrate the defeat of Nazi Germany by the Soviet Armed Forces.

St. Basil’s Cathedral , one of the most recognizable buildings on the square, was built in 1555. The unique cathedral has architectural details inspired by Byzantine and Asian designs, as well as details that resemble those found in famous mosques. There are nine individual chapels inside the church, all decorated with colourful mural art.

Theatres in Moscow

Cultural life of Moscow city is various and rich! Operas, ballets, symphonic concerts... Russian composers have created some of the most beautiful classical music. Russian classical music is very popular in Moscow. It is performed in many beautiful historical venues. Do not forget to include a visit to a concert hall in your itinerary when you are planning your stay in Moscow! And do it in advance.

There are almost no restrictions on dress code in Russian theatres. Visitors may wear jeans and sports shoes, they may have a backpack with them. Only shorts are not allowed.

A typical feature of Russian theatre – visitors are bringing a lot of flowers which they present to their favorite performers after the show.

Here are some practical advices where to go and how to buy tickets.

The Bolshoi Theatre

The Bolshoi Theatre is the oldest, the most famous and popular opera and ballet theatre in Russia. The word “Bolshoi” means “big” in Russian. You can buy a ticket online in advance, 2-3 months before the date of performance on the official website . Prices for famous ballets are high: 6-8 thousand rubles for a seat in stalls. Tickets to operas are cheaper: you can get a good seat for 4-5 thousand rubles. Tickets are cheaper for daytime performances and performances on the New Stage. The New Stage is situated in the light-green building to the left of the Bolshoi's main building. The quality of operas and ballets shown on the New Stage is excellent too. However, you should pay attention that many seats of the Bolshoi’s Old and New Stages have limited visibility . If you want to see the Bolshoi’s Old Stage but all tickets are sold out, you can order a tour of the theatre. You can book such a tour on the official website.

If you want, following Russian tradition, to give flowers to the performers at the end of the show, in the Bolshoi flowers should be presented via special staff who collects these flowers in advance.

In August the Bolshoi is closed.

The Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre

This theatre is noteworthy. On one hand, it offers brilliant classical opera and ballet performances. On the other hand, it is an experimental venue for modern artists. You can check the program and buy tickets online here http://stanmus.com/ . If you are opera lover, get a ticket to see superstar Hibla Gerzmava . The theatre has a very beautiful historic building and a stage with a good view from every seat. Tickets are twice cheaper than in the Bolshoi.

The Novaya Opera

“Novaya” means “New” in Russian. This opera house was founded in 1991 by a famous conductor Eugene Kolobov. Its repertoire has several directions: Russian and Western classics, original shows and divertissements, and operas of the 20th and 21st centuries. It is very popular with Muscovites for excellent quality of performances, a comfortable hall, a beautiful Art Nouveau building and a historic park Hermitage, which is situated right next to it. You can buy tickets online here http://www.novayaopera.ru/en .

Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Center

The Opera Center has become one of the best theatrical venues in Moscow. It was founded in 2002 by great diva Galina Vishnevskaya. Nowadays its artistic director is Olga Rostropovich, daughter of Galina Vishnevskaya and her husband Mstislav Rostropovich, great cellist and conductor. Not only best young opera singers perform here, but also world music stars do; chamber and symphonic concerts, theatrical productions and musical festivals take place here. You can see what is on the program here http://opera-centre.ru/theatre . Unfortunately “booking tickets online” is available in Russian only. If you need help, you can contact us at and we can book a ticket for you.

Tchaikovsky Concert Hall and The Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory

These are two major concert halls for symphonic music in Moscow. Both feature excellent acoustics, impressive interior, various repertoire and best performers. You can check the program here http://meloman.ru/calendar/ . You need just to switch to English. Booking tickets online is available only for owners of Russian, Ukrainian and Belorussian phone numbers. If you need help, you can contact us and we can book a ticket for you.

Moscow International Performing Arts Center (MIPAC)

This modern and elegant concert hall houses performances of national and foreign symphony orchestras, chamber ensembles, solo instrumentalists, opera singers, ballet dancers, theatre companies, jazz bands, variety and traditional ensembles. Actually, it has three concert halls placed on three different levels and having separate entrances. The President of MIPAC is People’s Artist of the USSR Vladimir Spivakov, conductor of “Virtuosy Moskvy” orchestra. You can see pictures of the concert halls here http://www.mmdm.ru/en/content/halls . The program is impressive in its variety but is not translated into English. You can contact us at and we can find a performance for you.
